The Tummy-ache Survival Club.
Summary: A short little one-shot of reader who got a really bad case of a tummy ache and their wonderful girlfriend, Milly, taking care of them.
Warnings: Not very graphic detail of throwing up. Other than that its just tooth rotting fluff
Waking up shouldn't have been a momentous task as it had been this morning. Your eyelids felt like weights, your limbs under several pounds of sand, the room so hot it was like you had a personal version of the twin suns inside your room. Your body hardly responded to you properly, lifting your arm caused it to twitch but nothing more.
So you opted to groggily wait for the weakness to pass, laying in bed, feeling the arms of your loving girlfriend, Milly, wrapped around you snuggly. Normally this was welcomed, the warmth and pressure from her body were sensations you adored. But right now her body heat was too much, you already felt like the living embodiment of a sun you didn’t need more heat.
You shifted your body to get away from the heat, but that movement caused your stomach to swirl. A nauseous sensation shot up your spine, your stomach aching with pain. Your eyes snapped open, bile rising dangerously high in your throat as a dreadful feeling washed over you. Your stomach did more flips, making the world around your spin off its axis. Despite your weakness, you shot upright in the bed and quickly moved to stand, your feet found the cold floors and you pushed off the bed with haste.
It took a minute of stumbling around after standing, nearly sending yourself flying into a wall with how much force you put into getting upright. You used the walls to support yourself, leaning on them with your shoulder while holding a hand over your mouth and shoving your way through the bathroom door. You collapsed at the bowl of the toilet just in time as your stomach tensed and heaved. The first time nothing came out, but tears stung your eyes and your throat burned like something did. Your body lurched again, this time expelling the evil concoction that’s been sitting at the back of your throat.
You coughed and gasped for air, your frame shaking violently, heaving into the toilet again as more came up with it. You whimpered, every one of your limbs feeling too weak to hold your weight, as they ached and shook with the effort to support you.
Blood roared in your ears, so you didn’t notice when someone entered the small room with you until you felt a large and gentle hand pressed against your back. You turn to the owner of the hand on your back and find Milly crouching next to you with a big smile, her hand rubbing up and down your back when you whimpered something unintelligible. You melted into her touch, every bone in your body turning to goo as Milly's efforts to calm you down and comfort you were successful.
Although not for long as your body heaved again, expelling more junk. But at least Milly was there to support your weight and keep you grounded while this torture continued.
It wasn’t until a few minutes later you were able to lean away from the toilet bowl, Milly guided you to lean on her so you weren’t lying on the nasty floor. When you seemed stable enough she shifted your body to support you in both her arms and lifted you up while she got to her feet. You couldn’t help your eyes widen from the shock of both the sudden movement and the display of her unnatural strength. Milly giggled at her reaction, feeling your body tense again.
"Looks like you aren't feeling too good, my love! Why don't I bring you back to bed and tell the others we need another day?" Milly gleefully suggested, and right now that sounded like the best thing in the world. You nodded weakly in agreement, Milly smiled in return.
Even after she's lifted you a few hundreds of times, you still find yourself startled at Milly's raw strength, especially in your feverish stupor. She lifted you with graceful ease, whisking you out of the bathroom and back to the bed, where she laid you down like a delicate piece of China.
You give her a daze look, she giggled and booped your nose while saying 'boop', then leaning down to kiss your forehead. You chuckle and try to playfully swat her away, it didn’t work as she then placed a few more kisses on your cheek and nose. She ended her assault by grabbing your hand and looking you dead in the eyes with a gentle smile.
"Stay here, sunflower, I'll be right back!" You nod slowly, squeezing her hand in confirmation and then letting go.
She briskly left the room. You could easily honor her request, as you certainly weren't going anywhere, because the moment the door clicked shut you slipped into a feverish sleep.
Upon waking up, you were still laying down but not in the exact position you had been before. While still on the bed, you head was not on its normal pillow, but instead in the lap of Milly. You could actually feel your limbs, being able to move them with normal ease. And most of all, you didn’t feel like you were a sun anymore, in fact, the goosebumps that dotted your arms and legs said otherwise.
It took a few minutes of slow blinking to feel the cool cloth on your head and fingers gently massaging your scalp. A face leaned into your view and Milly blinded you with a bright smile.
"Are you feeling better?" She asked, still continuing messaging your scalp with her blunt nails.
"Yeah... A little cold, though..." You rasped out, she nodded and removed the cloth from your head. She grabbed under your shoulders and pulled you up to her chest, then moving her arms lower to snake around your hips and pull you close.
You laughed softly, of course this was how she'd warm you up. It was so unbelievably Milly of her to do. You chuckle fondly and snuggle up closer, you can feel her laugh as well as it rumbles through her chest.
All around you was the gentle love and warmth of your beloved, her strong heartbeat thrummed in your ears as a calming constant. You sigh contently, letting your body melt into her touch once more.
It was quiet and still for a few minutes, you could feel yourself drifting off into a doze but was pulled back to reality when you heard Milly speak.
"Y'know, it was really funny to wake up and watch you stumble around." Milly commented, you looked up to gawk at her
"You watched me stumble around helplessly instead of helping?!" You laughed with disbelief, Milly squeaked and was quick to defend.
"I thought you were sleepwalking my love! It certainly looked like it!" Milly had a good point, but for dramatic effect you rolled out of her arms while rolling your eyes, scoffing dramatically.
"I see how it is, clearly you don't love me." You sarcastically whined, Milly reached out for you, grabbing you by the waist and pulling you in while wailing, "Nooo! I'm sorry Sunflower, I love you very very much!! I'll do anything to make it up to you, I absolutely will, just name it and I'll do it!"
You grinned devilishly, getting just what you wanted. You quickly changed your expression to a big pouty lip, large watery eyes, and in the most pathetic voice possible, whispered, "Can I have a kiss, then?"
Milly blinked at you, then lit up like the sun, leaning in to press a soft chaste kiss on your lips. But you wanted a little more, so when she pulled back you leaned forwards and held the kiss a little longer, you could feel her smile against your lips, her own lips dreamily soft.
You broke the kiss to get air, and pressed your forehead against hers. She pulled you closer once more and squeezed you like a stuffed animal. Unfortunately the pressure on the stomach made the world spin.
"Mils, I love you, but if you keep holding me like this I will throw up on you." You warned, she immediately relented and kissed your cheek in apology.
"Sorry, sunflower, you're too cute not to squish."

@sacredflorist asked: [ CARE ] receiver finds the sender has fallen asleep somewhere and places a blanket or jacket over them.
It had been a long day, a very long day, too long.
Still. Yuffie couldn’t sleep.
The fire was dying, flames were reduced to little glowing red and white ashes. The stars overhead had bloomed, providing more than enough light to make out the landscape beyond their little makeshift home.
The young Shinobi moved silently, a careful unfold of the blanket as she draped it over the brunette. Well. Yuffie couldn’t just sit there wide awake and think her friend was cold. It would bother her for hours upon hours if she did so. She supposed that at least the stealth training had come in handy, maybe she wouldn’t wake her up after all?
As the blanket was left in its final position, she froze. Waiting for some sign of wakefulness? While the idea of sitting here most of the night unable to sleep was unappealing to Yuffie, she also wasn’t going to wake anyone up. She’d protect this little circle of warm silence to make sure they got what they needed. Rest, and a feeling of quiet safety, of only for a few hours…even if she disliked the silence.
Silence sat uneasy for her, like a little heavy ball that she needed to toss as soon as she caught it, for fear that it was going to explode. While she disliked the metaphor, she couldn’t really escape the fact that it was true. Right now, the only thing making it bearable was the constant reminder that she wasn’t actually alone, and everyone else was just…asleep. Maybe if she just focused on being jealous of their ability to sleep soundly for a while, she’d feel much better about the whole thing.

This is an invitation to ramble
About Roxy and Freddy? Sure. I'll come and add a read more if this goes on forever.
How about they both think the other is a massive hypocrite?
They've never bothered to actually get to know eachother deep enough to realise that there's just as much thought and nuance in the other's actions as they have in theirs. On the surface, they just seem like they're acting like there's one rule for them and another for everyone else, but there's generally a lot more thought to it.
To Freddy, Roxy is all about the abolishment of rules. She's just gonna do whatever she wants, rules, safety and impact on kids be damned. She's never where she's supposed to be if she decides it's not worth her time, she's deliberately broken rules in front of him out of spite, and he has a sneaking suspicion - but no evidence, just a gut feeling on occasion - that she's breaking rules so big that if she ever gets found out, she'll be scrapped in seconds. And yet, whenever he's in the Raceway, she is pushing safety standards, sometimes even better ones than Fazbear Entertainment's official ones. She refuses to let anyone get away with cheating/breaking the rules in games they all play together and she's very loud about hating liars. To him, all he sees is her enforcing rules when she feels like it, but not holding herself to the same standard and it's incredibly infuriating to him. The rules apply to everyone and are there for a reason, she shouldn't get to pick and choose who follows what and when! What kind of trouble are the kids going to get into following her example? What happens when her thoughtlessness gets someone hurt? He's not gonna try and cover for her that's for sure. She's had this coming for years. He's so tired of her shit.
From Roxy's perspective though, a lot of these rules don't make sense. She's questioned why they're there every time it's hindered her, and over time, has worked out which ones are there for company money making/saving reasons, and which ones do actually need to be followed. She's tested the boundaries of what she can get away with, and it's only confirmed it for her. So long as she's not caught breaking any of the serious rules, she's fine. The rules she breaks are calculated, thought out, and generally to make her job entertaining easier. She gives out more freebies, she takes the occasional kid or two into areas they don't have a pass for, she got caught rigging a claw machine for a teen that had been trying to win something for months with no luck, and sneaking extra arcade tokens to those that can't afford to keep playing. She's careful about who she does this with, meaning she ends up with her own little group of kids that she knows fairly well instead of a mass of fans she doesn't. It's also much easier for her to entertain by doing these things, when she doesn't have an open attraction, so really, she could argue she's just trying to keep herself relevant. She's not. She thinks the rules preventing her and the others from giving kids a good day at the Plex are stupid and will gladly break them. (The other's do too, she's just way more obvious and known for it. She's got no attraction to maintain what else is she gonna do all day?)
Now, from Roxy's perspective, Freddy acts all high and mighty as a rule enforcer and follower and likes to make some sort of moral judgement on that. She calls him a thoughtless, one trick pony just doing as he's told all the damn time, yet seems perfectly happy to bend them or find loopholes specifically to spite her personally. He's literally kicked her out of Fazerblast once over deliberately misinterperating how she was playing it with a kid in order to accuse her of cheating. The reason? She was supposed to be somewhere else in the building doing something completely different. It seems to her that he picks and chooses who to punish for rulebreaking and who not to, as in her eyes, the others are getting off way lighter (because she's like a lightning rod of attention he's too busy being pissed off at her to notice the others). For someone that's all about rule following, how comes he can bend them whenever he wants? How comes he can break the occasional rule to stop her from doing something, but she can't be left alone to do her own thing? It's none of his business what she's doing! If he's so fussed about rulebreakers, she thinks he should start leading by example instead of nitpicking and stonewalling everything she does! She's never ever letting the situation where he accused her of cheating and disqualified her from a Fazerblast game go. She's so fucking spiteful about it because playing fair is something she prides herself on and how dare he try and say otherwise!!
However, from Freddy's perspective, he is leading by example. That's the whole reason he cares about this so much. He wants to make sure the kids have someone to look up to and be like that isn't going to get them in trouble. He stays out of trouble and does his best to 'lead' the others down the same path of being the best example to the kids possible, but Roxy just doesn't seem to care about that. To him, what he's doing is for the best. The rules are made for a reason, even if it's for monetary gain, that money is what is currently keeping them safe, functioning and alive. By following the rules as best they all can, they're securing that safety for themselves, and he's convinced of this. If they help the company do well, if they enforce the rules that make the company more money, and follow through with what they want from them, they'll be okay. Him being so against what Roxy does on a daily basis is his way of trying to make sure the kids that love her (for reasons he cannot fathom, and she feels the same about him) have the best rolemodel they possibly can, and that she's contributing to the continued existence of the Pizzaplex, and themselves. The fact that staff have given up and keep bending things to let her get her own way all the time has just stirred him into trying harder to keep her in check. His patience wanes by the day and much to his frustration, he finds himself slipping and letting things slide every so often. Even worse, his efforts with the others are falling short too, and the fact he's catching them more now rather than before Roxy was moved to the band, he's attributed this entirely to her being a terrible influence. What if she's as bad with the kids and they start copying her? He can't stand the thought of kids getting into trouble because of her thoughtlessness! He's honestly waiting for the day that management finally snap and scare some sense into her, or at the very least, remove her from the band to limit her influence and reach. He swears, she's gonna be the death of all of them and the reason her fans are gonna get seriously hurt.
So. They both see each other as hypocrites, but they also don't listen or care to find out what the actual thought process behind their actions are. Roxy can't stand the sight of a child whose parents couldn't afford the expensive prices of the Plex, and Freddy can't stand the thought of a kid learning bad behaviours off of any of them. Freddy follows and Roxy breaks. Freddy bends to keep order, and Roxy doesn't for a fair game. They both have their priorities and are both so stubborn they won't budge on them for anything, especially not each other.
You, may be wondering about the middle ground here. About setting a good example whilst also making sure everyone has fun. There is one, but they're not giving an inch. They have a truce for rehearsals, performance and events where the whole band has to be present and that's as good as it will get for them. And was established after they both had a joint party/event thing together, just the two of them hosting, and things got very out of hand. It was decided that since both of them were participating in what happened and both clearly fucking hate each other, that the easiest solution would be to prevent anymore parties without at least two other animatronics present for it. It took three, maybe even four to deal with that one situation so um. Yeah they're not fucking around now. No more Freddy and Roxy duos.
Things have cooled down over time, but that's only because of the truce and the new rule that they can't be left alone together. They still get into arguments and shit all the time though. At least it's less frequent now, right?
