Then here's this kid that not only weaponizes her cuteness, but weaponizes being the most pathetic looking thing in the galaxy. What a joke!

I know it's only my second post on this blog but I felt the need to ramble about wander over yonder.

Specifically, about the relationship between wander and Sylvia.

I don't usually use words such as "queerplatonic" but I think wander and Sylvia embody this concept really well.

What I mean is that they're not lovers but you can hardly write off their relationship as "just friends". I find it fascinating the way their relationship constantly stretch out the limits of what is conventionally acceptable for platonic friends.

They share drinks

They sleep close together

They casually go to a romantic restaurant together (granted, maybe wander was just here to stalk hater lol)

Most blatantly, their relationship awake the romantic jealousy of a crazy planet.

A lot of their moments are very intimate sweet. They also say "I love you" to each other multiple times.

What's more, they constantly put each other first, they're very touchy with each other, I could go on.

A lot of their moments can be traditionally interpreted as romantic. Does that make them lovers? Of course not. Love is often understanding as a binary between "friends" and "lovers" but wander and Sylvia goes way beyond that. There's nothing to understand other that they love each other and are very comfortable with expressing it regardless of the limits of "Platonic display of affection".

Wander over yonder portray platonic love as it own form, as powerful as romantic love. And I think it's both refreshing and important.

You mentioned absolutely adoring "Ask Her A Question" from My Fair Hatey for a lot of reasons. Was that partially exaggeration, or do you actually have an analysis to dish out?

Yeah definitely some exaggeration lol and it’s basically just the sound of it, I adore all the songs on there but judging purely by how they sound, (not the narrative purpose) of all of them that one’ my favorite.

Voice acting is incredibly important to me, across all my favorite shows that’s the first thing I think about, I’m obsessed with line delivery and with identifying voices (I pride myself in being the best out of my siblings at identifying who’s voice it is first lol), so the main thing for me really is that Wander has my favorite voice in the series, his singing is so nice and it’s interesting how (for this song at least) he doesn’t do it with a lot of volume or anything, it’s relatively calm for him. He’s half-singing half-talking too and his line delivery is amazing. You can hear the giddiness in his voice at some parts, he does it so well lol. And his accent and the inflections he puts on certain words I love it. Namely his “ab-out:”

I can’t explain why I’m so interested in voices (probably just autism again) but along with comedy, art, and animation it’s one of my favorite things.

I’ don’t know a ton about music other than “this sounds good to me, this doesn’t” but I’m still very opinionated on it, my enjoyment of music tends to be more based on unique singing voices and variability in the music. Some cartoons have very lazy, uninteresting soundtracks and Wander is definitely not one of them, even if you’re talking about just the normal soundtracks, not the songs. it’s great how each if the main characters have their own background themes and even some sung theme songs lol. I can’t tell you what I like about specifically the music of “Ask Her a Question” I just know that I really like it.

In a narrative sense it’s obviously fun seeing Wander’s philosophy on romance and watching Hater go along with it lol. For the story overall I think it’s meant to be pretty significant that Hater would be interested in someone else enough to ask about their opinions, we saw how terrible he was on “The Date”.

The animation is visually interesting as usually with a lot of great stretching from Wander.

This is also my favorite kind of musical; “everyone knows they’re signing” instead of “nobody’s actually singing, they’re just conveying the emotions and storytelling through song for the audience’s eyes only.”

Woy in general is just exemplifies all the ways I would love to do things if I could create a cartoon;

The music is spectacular, so is the voice acting, the voice actors can sing instead of needing stand-in singers, the character designs are so recognizable, I love everyone’s names (‘Major Threat’ is such stupid and funny wordplay lol), the characterization is so good and interesting for everyone (infinitely kind characters are my favorite tho) the comedy is great and I like a lot of the gags but what’s especially great is the character-driven comedy; jokes that are funny just because the characters have funny personalities and interactions. The animation is spectacular too, I’m usually not at all a fan of flash animation but they utilize it in such a way that I didn’t used to know it was flash, the squash and stretch they do with the characters is so fun and interesting without looking grotesque or unappealing, they just look silly (there’s so many moments where it’s too fast to really get a grasp on what’s happening and if you look at it frame by frame it’s super impressive).

The dominion au was for me to have some kind of wrap up story for dominator working off of canon bc frankly I wanted to see what the main plot was supposed to be. Maybe... there wasn't one. Oof. In kid cosmic we got kind of what I wanted to learn. Definitely got the messages they were trying to get at in WoY, or at least I think so. Fantos' lines in the finale really read as Dominator to me. Erodios felt like Hater's story in some sense. And Kid also had a story I think Hater's character embodied in some respects. A heavy past, dealing with loss, wanting to be a hero and make believe because it's easier that way. Chuck is very much peepers vibes and Papa G is very much Wander vibes. Perhaps Jo could even have some sense of the pressures Sylvia would face trying to lead a group of rag tag heroes. With that said, I have a system I use when dealing with media. 1: media is moral, I can enjoy and endorse it. (<Very rarely happens) I strictly adhere to canon for any fan content I make, as if trying to write for the series itself. 2: media is flawed but not extremely egregious, I can still enjoy it publicly and enjoy analysis. I adhere to canon for any fan content I make, but with additional edits or fan head canons added. Very much "fanfiction" area canon. 3: creators of media or the media itself is not moral, so I lean on fandom and fan canon. in essence: It's MY story now. lol. headcanons galore, I am not writing as if I were writing for the series at all. 4: Too mucked up, both creators and final product are immoral, I drop it. WoY I think for me has moved from 2 to 3. I guess I can rewrite s2 plot for the au lmao here we goooo

It's 5:30 in the morning at the area I am from and instead of sleeping, I decided to send you an ask.

I just watched the latest WOY episode. I liked the episode, it was definitely better for me than the previous ones. I wasn't really surprised because I could kind of feel that Bew was planning something. His expressions at times show his guilt. I like this twist, because i like it when innocent characters take revenge on those who hurt them and they don't just forgive them and swipe everything under the rug like nothing ever happened. I hate it when characters do this.

So it's time to ask for predictions. How many chances do GusBew have of a happy ending?

Me, I am kind of conflicted. But mostly I am in favour to the happy side. Because if both Gus and Bew sit down and talk. (Unlike what happened to NottPun) And be completely transparent and say we both took advantage and hurt each. The start of the relationship was toxic but they have the potential for a happy relationship.

But also I would like it if ended sad. But it would be more like a punishment for the actions of the other, depending on who leaves. And I don't want them to be sad. Especially Bew. I don't want to see him being sad and published with a sad ending just because he decided to take revenge on the people who betrayed him. I want it to be a learning process for him. To judge his own actions and learn from them and do better and mature more.

To be honest, I am surprised that his revenge on Gus wasn't more hurtful. I was constantly anticipating the moment he abandons Gus and throws him under the bus. Also, I wonder was Bew who called the cops or was it an coincidence. Was Bew planning to do more but changed his mind. Is he just staying with Gus to be a ship because with a ship is the only way he can sell, per Toon's words. Can he tell that Gus loves him and has he forgiven him. I want to know which is the exact moment which made Bew forgive Gus, if he forgave him, and say I still want a relationship with this person and still believe in an us. Though I wonder if his revenge on Gus isn't other yet and he is planning something for the next episode. Maybe after getting the award his plan was/is to dump him with a phrase of "I don't need you anymore". This is what I would want to do in his place.

Even though, I am perplexed with a lot of things, I still want the happy ending.

PS. The managers got what they deserved. But I feel sorry and worry for Peak and Kla who are the next couple to air if I am correct.

PSS. Probably the reason we didn't see the internal turmoil of Bew regarding of the leaked sex video is because he was the one who leaked it himself. He prepared himself emotionally for what's to come and was busy caring out his rest of his plan.

Hello! To be honest, I was kinda waiting for you to ask me this and I don't know if I should feel flattered that you decided to do it instead of sleeping lol.

Anyways, episode 9. Not gonna lie, this episode, the whole episode, gave a weird vibe from beginning to finish and I started to have some suspicions that Bew was up for something since his "panic attack" (I put it air quotes because it felt very convenient for him to have one when he was being accused of being the one responsible for the leaked video and how forced it felt. I will expand on this on my analysis post so let me stop here before I go even further) and how he became so "wicked" so suddenly, to the point of being the one to suggest for him and Gus to leave the managers, for him to get the evidences that Toon was "responsible", for him to give Gus the idea of them pretending to be apart to increase expectations around them having a couple work, for him to be the one that apparently found them a new manager. But even if I was feeling something was weird, the revelation struck me like a brick in the middle of my face and it left me in a bad mood for hours.

However, because you are here for my predictions and not my feelings (I need to save some for my post), let's lay them out: being completely honest, like really really honest, I don't want them to be together. And this is not me giving you the same answer I gave when you asked about NottPun, that I don't want them to be together right now, this time I don't want them to be together, period. This can be my betrayed heart talking (yes, I felt that revelation as a betrayal to the support I gave Bew, don't ask me because I don't even understand myself) but they have a lot of things to work around (not as much as NottPun had, because we were dealing with a person with a very heavy trauma that needed to be worked with) and the amount of manipulation that surrounds them (Gus getting Bew drunk to have sex with him - something that I still need a reasoning because I refuse to believe that he only did that because Pla told him to - and Bew leaking the video, putting Gus in a situation where he would get in trouble by using someone that was supposed to be Gus' friend, using a fan to do the dirty work for him) kinda pushes aside any sort of good feelings that may exist between them; yes, I believe that GusBew love each other (even if it pains me to admit that) and yes, I believe that in other circumstances things could've been different without all the plans and lies and manipulations but those things happened and those things have weight in how their relationship can be in the future.

So, for me, I would give 35% of chances of them having a happy ending (knowing Cheewin and what he did with NottPun, I know that the possibilities of happiness are almost 100% and we may never get a proper conversation between them and the episode will just slap us in the face with the news that GusBew are still together or together again) and a 65% chance of an open ending. A very small part of me is still rooting for a happy ending, but for me to really accept it, Cheewin would have to give GusBew what he didn't give NottPun, an on-screen conversation and resolution, the ugliness of their actions being laid out in front of them, being discussed, being level up, being put aside or not, them making a decision and owning up for their decisions. I let it slide with NottPun because I really wanted them together and was more inclined in accepting that fate for them but with GusBew, a happy ending would left a sour taste in my mouth.

Kla and Peak having PlaToon as their managers was the biggest heartbreak thing I saw in this episode, because they definitely do not deserve to be put in the hands of people that view queerness as a tool for fame (because if both of them weren't being already shipped by other people, I guarantee you that none of them would even spare a glance in their direction and would let KlaPeak be) or being manipulated the same way GusBew were but, as that saying goes, old habits die hard. I just their arc (that is the next one and I'm super excited for it) does not have any problems related to PlaToon because I just cannot stand those two anymore. Seriously, I'm tired of them.

"PSS. Probably the reason we didn't see the internal turmoil of Bew regarding of the leaked sex video is because he was the one who leaked it himself. He prepared himself emotionally for what's to come and was busy caring out his rest of his plan." - this is one of the things that I really want to see in the last episode. The moment he decided on the plan, his mental preparation, how he managed to carry out the plan even having to expose something so intimate of himself and until where he was willing to take that plan forward. I really need to see the orchestration, is more than necessary.

Well, I don't know if my answer satisfied you or anything, or if I gave you an answer at all because this things tend to make me rant and I just lose track of what I am supposed to do but, at the end of the day, my feelings are all here. Just don't hold me accountable for the things I said here if you see me "celebrating" them having a happy ending because I may change my mind, depending on how Cheewin decides to end their story arc.

Do you ever think of how tragic Hater and Peepers early season 1 relationship was in hindsight? At first it seemed like a classic evil boss keeping his equally evil subordinate in line. But in The Funk we learn that they knew each other before the whole empire thing.

And assuming their relationship was similar to what we saw in The Funk when they recreated their good 'ol days, what happened to turn this

into this?

Their change in dynamic seemed to be relatively recent, considering how Peepers kept trying to tell him what to do and arguing with him before Hater repeatedly put him back in his place. Peepers doesn't seem used to his current role.

Also the "Sike we're not friends" line is especially harsh in an ex-friend context.

I think about this episode a lot because it really encapsulate wander's core flaw. Wander is a very obsessive person. He has a very tunnel vision and when he has an idea in his head, it overshadow everything else. In this episode, wander is so engrossed in his own imagination that it's like everything around him dissappear, including Sylvia.

He even goes so far as turning Sylvia into a literal puppet in his head.

This finally hit a breaking point for Sylvia who call him out for being so self-centered. Now, I need to point that we don't know if wander had any partners before Sylvia. What I mean is that wander isn't intentionally selfish. He's just not used to consider how his actions affect others. But now, he has Sylvia. And his actions affect her because they're life-partners.

If it wasn't for Sylvia, wander would probably spend eternity in this endless void, losing his sanity and sense of reality in the process. Instead, he chooses Sylvia over his thirst for discovery, allowing them to escape.

There's another example of wander disregarding Sylvia for the sake of his obsession. In "the tourist", wander become so hyperfixated on one-upping another traveler that he drag poor Sylvia all accross the galaxy. Sylvia eventually had enough but wander still end up going back to her, once again choosing her over his obsession.

I think this is an example of Sylvia positively influencing wander. Now, I don't need to explain how wander is a good influence for Sylvia because it's so obvious. Just by looking at them, you know that he bring out her more caring and sensitive side. But Sylvia's influence on wander is more subtle. Just by existing in his life, she keeps him aware of his surroundings. She keeps him aware of his own well-being because what affect him affect her as well. She's the one thing that can bring him out of his tunnel vision. In other words, 𝘚𝘺𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘢 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺.

And I don't know how to end this aside that there's a distinctive lack of wander/Sylvia meta so I'm here to fix that. These two bring the best out of each other, they're so different but complete each other so well and their relationship is much deeper and more interesting than the fandom give them credit for. I had troubles organizing my thoughts so I hope it makes sense. I hope this post will generate some discussion.

I’m thinking about the ending of WOY Season 2 because it’s one of the most exciting things in the whole series. AND HERE’S WHY.

In the episode “The Waste of Time” there is a quick shot of a character called Monkeyboy when Wander & Sylvia are going back in time. The shot is implied to be from an event that happened before the start of the series. Frank Angones confirmed his name and revealed that he was intended to play a “big part” in season 3.

The character’s relevancy is further established by the cliffhanger ending of season 2. An American flag can be seen on both the escape pod from the ending and the monkey’s astronaut suit. Those are some strong parallels that I’m sure most people in the fandom have picked up on by now. It’s hard to ignore because we have NEVER seen evidence that Earth exists in the show aside from these two instances! That alone makes me excited!

But wait, there’s more! The final shot shows green electricity coming out of the crashed escape pod, along with monkey noises that transition into Hater’s evil laugh. This leads me to believe that Hater’s origin story is somehow tied to Monkeyboy. And revealing something big like that about a main character would be totally new territory for the show! One popular theory is that he IS Monkeyboy, or was. I can see that being true since Craig McCracken has a track record with villainous monkey characters.

This may be purposefully misleading, however, because how could Monkeyboy play a big part in season 3 if he was only found within Hater’s backstory? Another theory I have is that Hater and Monkeyboy knew each other at one point, exploring space together, until Hater betrayed him. That way Monkeyboy could show up to take his revenge against Hater in season 3. He looks fairly pissed off in that one image we see of him.

Maybe in the past they were both monkeys or maybe Hater was a human astronaut with a monkey companion. There are many possible ways it could go, but even putting aside all the fan speculation, I love that this new character is based on the actual history of space travel. From 1948 to 1993, monkeys and chimps were routinely launched into space by the USA. It was incredibly dangerous for the animals involved since they were the first to test the equipment. Looking back at the screenshots, I wonder if the spacecraft that Monkeyboy (and maybe Hater) was in simply malfunctioned or if there was another element at play.

So I know I keep comparing Draxum to Vegeta from Dragonball Z and Peridot from Steven Universe in terms of personality, archetype and especially potential redemption, but ‘Mystery Meat’ has made me realize that comparing him to Lord Hater from Wander Over Yonder is also a fairly valid comparison.

Both Hater and Draxum sort of took a level in silliness in the second season of their respective series (though for Hater you could argue it happened in the last third of s1), and they both have to deal with getting knocked down a peg due to personal failures along with a better and stronger threat to take their place. Hater focuses on defeating Wander and ends up losing a lot of his empire’s territory to Lord Dominator while Draxum is blinded by his own confidence and goals, causing him to make terrible decisions that eventually lead to him being unable to return home and temporarily losing his powers, as well as starting up a whole new chain of events with Shredder and Big Mama.

Both characters also seem to want things beyond their surface level goals. Hater wants to take over the Galaxy and wants to be the Greatest, proving hius strength and power, but he only wants these things because he’s lonely and wants people to like him, even if he doesn’t like to admit how much he wants friends or a romantic partner. Draxum meanwhile has always stated that his main goal was the reclaim the surface for Yokaikind, eliminating the human threat (which may or may not have driven Yokai underground in the first place) forever and allowing Yokai to live in peace without the risk of being destroyed for good. He wants to accomplish this by either mutating humans or destroying them with the Dark Armor, depending on whichever option seemed more convenient/likely to succeed.

But the thing is, like with Hater and how much he can act like an angsty teen or someone who just doesn’t know how to constructively communicate his wants and emotional needs, we keep seeing these little moments of humanity (pun partially unintended) and silliness/emotion from Draxum, reminding us that he’s a person too.

He may not be as fatherly as Splinter, still wanting to use the Turtles as his warriors to help meet his goals, but he also calls them “beautiful” and tears up when he first sees them before he’s utterly disappointed, lol. He gets annoyed over minor human things and Big Mama using silly words and the ELOM interrupting him. He’s able to connect with Recruit on a personal level, even offering her - a HUMAN - a gesture of kindness. He’s utterly amazed with Lou Jitsu’s skill and “warrior spirit” even after all these years, still calling him ‘Great’ despite everything. He can be sassy and smug and petty and sings a goddamn musical number. He felt genuinely betrayed and hurt when he learned that the Foot had tricked him, he was genuinely touched when Mikey and Raph saved him from the bounty hunters, and now he’s genuinely starting to enjoy his job, doing it his own Draxum-y way and even making friends with humans who show him kindness!

And with that last bit in mind... I think Draxum’s secret desire, similar to Hater’s desire for platonic and/or romantic companions, is to just... have a normal life, and to not be afraid of losing it. Before, Draxum was throwing himself into his experiments and plans, determined to stop a threat before it came despite all claims that it never would come. We still don’t know his full backstory, but if he lost someone or believes he lost someone to humans, that could have triggered a sort of ‘we will never be safe/I’ll make sure we’ll stay safe’ mindset that he was never really able to move past until now. But now that he’s failed tremendously, has been pushed out of his lab and is unable to seriously work on his goals without the risk of being found and dragged to mystic prison, he’s starting to sort of see the light - see that some of his previous misconceptions were wrong, and start to make a change.

Hater also had a similar arc, where despite still not caring for Wander’s weird ways most of the time and still being a brat of a skeleton man, he did start to be effected by Wander’s teachings and soften up a little, allowing him to strengthen his friendship with Peepers, being willing to work with Wander and Sylvia sometimes instead of always being selfish or antagonistic, and even risking it all to try and save his Galaxy and the remaining people in it in the s2 finale. 

This ultimately would have led to the final leg of his redemption arc and him most likely finally accepting Wander as a friend - and I believe this is where Draxum is headed as well. Not a complete character overhaul, but enough where he’s able to sort of move on from his old mindset and not see humans as a threat or as something to be toyed with, but rather a species that he can live with, even when they’re annoying or confusing. 

And, more importantly, he’ll hopefully acknowledge his mistakes and work to do better like Peridot, as well as begin to show genuine care and concern for his new family like Vegeta. He’ll probably keep a bit of his aggressiveness/grumpiness and slight-holier than thou attitude too like Vegeta and Hater, while also finding new things on the surface/in human culture and new people to appreciate (such as cooking) like Peridot. Though, maybe I’m starting to go a little overboard with these comparisons, lol.

Anyway, sorry if I kinda lost the plot in this post buuuuut yeah, until the show proves otherwise, I’m just kinda thinking of Draxum as a Vegeta-Peridot-Hater venn diagram in terms of personality and potential character arc.

The Rumor Come Out: Does Wander is Gay?

((OK, analysing is not really my thing, eps. cause English is not my language, but I’ll type down some stuff for ya, anon. 

There are so many scenes to cosider before coming to such a conclusion, but let’s focus on the most important ones:

We have seen Wander dressing up like a girl many times (like in “The Greatest”, “The Date”, “The Brainstorm” (in Hater’s fantasy), “The Secret Planet” etc.) and he most likely seemed to have fun doing so. I think it’s remarkable that the Blonde Wig Wander who has also appeared in “The Wanders” is considered to be one of Wander’s personalities, which might mean that Wander has a some kind a a female side, too. And I think it’s pretty obvious Wander REALLY likes pink color!..

But he also has been personating male characters, too like in “The Greatest” and “The Good Deed” for instance. And of course, let’s don’t forget his wild appearaces in “The Bad Guy” and “The Boy Wander” and “The Date”. Those appearances are usually followed by a different more quiet but rough voice of him, which is making him sounds more male-ish. 

But now, let’s leave the appearance and proceed to his personality:

Wander, despite his gender, seems to have such a strong instict of maternity, as seen in “The Egg” where he was so protective and affectionate towards the egg, and that moment the egg slipped through Sylvia’s fingers and was falling down, Wander screamed “MY BABY!!!”. That and his behavior towards the baby, Huckleberry Knucklehead in “The Toddler” is the proof of that, but we could aslo consider motherrly his behavior when he was taking care of Westley in “The Little Guy” and baby cat, Lil’ Bit’s from “The Stray”.

In “The Little Guy”, when Westley was layed on the ground and Wander was checking him up to see if he’s okay, he even stroked his eye saying “eye beautiful..” and he was ready to do a CPR to him, that actually looked more like a kiss… However, when Westley stopped him from doing so, Wander stated “I was just havin’ fun, is all!”, which I belive is true. 

In “The Birthday Boy” when Wander thought Hater wanted to play Spin the Bottle, he looked at him with a smug expression on his face saying :Hater, you sassy man! You do wanna get his party started!” and when the bottle pointed to Hater (cause of Sylvia) Wander said “Hater! I was hopin’ you’d win! Now, pucker up, and let’s see that smile!”

I think I don’t even need to mention “The Big Day” where it’s like Wander and Hater are preparing to get married (And that just made me realize Wander and Hater were about to “get married” like three times, in “The Date”, “The Brainstorm”, now “The Big Day”…) Anyway, there’s a bunch of quotes and gay elements in that episode, but I think it’s interesting to point out that Wander wore the bow, and Hater the “dress” as he also appeared in the cermony room as if he was the “bride”, even tho Wander was the one Hater shouldn’t meet eye-to-eye before the cermony… 

So far, you probably think Wander is gay, but if you also remember the episode “The Hero” where Wander first meets princess Demurra, he says enchanted and in admiration “she’s beautifuuulll~” and he was so excited to save a princess, revealing that’s soemthing he always wanted to do.. (Some people could just say he just wanted her dess after all LOL) Despite that, we never actually saw Wander being in love with any girl, and we didn’t CLEARLY see him being in love with anyone in the show..

Oh, did I mention that Wander seemed to be on a date with a girl in “The Date”!?!?

THERE’S ALSO MORE CLUES TO MENTION BUT LIKE I SAID I’M NOT GOING TO ANALYSE THEM ALL EPISDOE-BY-EPISODE

NOW… SOME HEADCANONS:

We can only be suspicious with Wander having a crush on Hater, because I really feel like it’s the most canon ship in the show (after the confirmed ships like Demurra and King Draykor, of course). Cuz it totally makes sense and those two have a lot of moments together. Sorry but, I kinda headcanon this ship..

A theory of mine has to do with “The Brainstorm”, where Lord Hater in one of his imaginations, he gets married to Flendarian princess, only to find out it’s Wander in disguise, and Wander was super happy to be married with him, and he even kissed him on the cheek before hugging him. If we consider that all of Hater’s theories were accurate, since he proved he was right with the “banjo” thing, that means Wander could actually be happy to be married to Hater…? STILL, OF COURSE, both Wander and Sylva seemed to be relieved that they were still single in the end of the episode “The Date”…

I always thought like Wander was disappointed by himself because he didn’t actually manage to make Hater happy. With Dominator, it’s like he found hope again. He thought if he wasn’t the right person to change Hater, then Dominator would be the one! Maybe he could accept some love from her, since he does not accept Wander’s love for him.. Of course, that could never happen..

There’s also another insteresting theory of a friend of mine @thegreatestinthegalaxy, which has to do with Wander and his imaginations of Lord Hater being with Lord Dominator. It states the the entire time Wander was trying to pair those two, he was imagining himself in place of Dominator (cuz they have simular hyperactivity and all) giving him a reason to be so enamored with the idea of making them a couple. He wanted her to live out his dream of being with Hater, and that’s why when he imagines their wedding, Dominator’s look, like, her dress is very Wander-like style, “poofy” and “flow-y” with orange flowers on it! And even the pink lipstick he imagines, is a color Dominator would never use, while Wander loves it and uses it when he wears makeup. BECAUSE WANDER LOVES PINK AND ALL THE STUFF MENTIONED!! All this is just making the scene when Domianator says “Okay, go ahead. Surrender.” and Wander being like “I think you mean, surrender your heart, my studly skull muffin~” while stroking Hater’s chin even cuter and makes more sense! Cuz Wander adores ‘sappy smooshy lovey dovey silliness’~ So, Wander’s mistake is, he does not see what Dominator likes but what he likes. He’s a tea person, and she’s not. He’s in love with Hater, and she definitely isn’t at all! 

Wander realizes it wasn’t meant for Hater and Dominator to be together “And it’s probably best you didn’t wind up together” but he finally sees a light in his relationship with Hater “But you know what I think is great?” I’m talking’ bout buddies~”

ANYONE CAN COME TO THEIR OWN CONCLUSION! The creators didn’t confirm any ships so people can ship whatever they want. My theory is, Wander is NOT gay. He’s a pansexual or at least bi-romantic guy because he’s mostly looking for romance, not paying much attention to the gender.. But he IS gay for HATER!!))
