Sure thing! I´m doing this under the assumption that the reader isn´t aware of Natsume´s yandere tendencies and has a crush on him because of that!

Well, this is certainly an interesting situation, isn´t it? Natsume doesn´t quite know how to feel when his beloved darling is so vehemently denying that they have any sort of feelings for him. By having watched them for so long through his crystal ball, he knows them well enough to realize that they aren´t telling the truth

You may try to hide your crush on him by acting cold and indifferent when talking to him, but Natsume can read you very well. He notices the way your eyes briefly light up when he enters the room or the way your eyes nervously shift to the side whenever he compliments you with a teasing smile on his face

Oh, it´s simply adorable, the way you try to deny your affection for him when it´s so entirely obvious to him that you feel the same way as he does! It truly amuses him to no end and he takes some time to simply indulge in how adorable you are when you try to act that way by flirting even more than he usually would. He commits all your different reactions to memory <3

But that honeymoon period of Natsume being entranced and charmed by your blatant dishonesty quickly ends as the weeks go by and you still haven´t given up on the act

Oh come now, it was cute the first few times but now Natsume really is getting tired of having to wait so long for your confession. He has never been a particularly patient man and that goes doubly so when it concerns you, his beloved little darling

Gets annoyed very quickly at being rebuked by you at every turn and doesn´t understand why you would keep doing this. He *really* doesn´t like being ignored, he´s the possessive/ jealous type so he especially hates seeing the contrast between how aloof you act around him compared to when you talk to other people, and seeing it happen all the time just drives him up a wall. Natsume has a huge urge to finally claim you and to let everyone know that you´re already taken - that he´s your boyfriend

He´s simply so obsessed with you that he can´t wait to finally be with you. You know, it was a huge relief to him when he had initially found out that you returned his feelings but now it just annoys him to no end that you still aren´t being honest with him and keep trying to push him away

Natsume has spent more than enough time simply waiting for you to get over yourself and finally make a move and he´s gotten tired of your little games

If you aren´t willing to make the first move then Natsume will simply have to push you in the right direction!

Which is why Natsume immediately goes to his secret room to start brewing a love potion for you. Yes, you may already love him but a little bit more can´t hurt, right? Maybe it´ll even lead you to be just as obsessed as he is! He loves the thought of driving you mad with affection for him <3

Hopefully, it´ll push you to finally confess your undying love to him so you can finally be together

➮ NATSUME SAKASAKI is certainly interested by this turn of events. while he may not show it, he's definitely happy knowing his darling is starting to feel more comfortable with him. due to this change in behavior he'll act a little more forward with you. he'll still remain aloof and mysterious around you but you'll might catch a glimpse of his vulnerable side. though he admits, he did find your shy demeanor pretty cute (especially when he calls you 'kitten') he likes that he can hold a casual conversation with you without worrying that he made you uncomfortable. adding on to this statement, he thinks being attentive and gifting you combined with his charming way of speaking would be enough to sway you into the direction of liking him back. so don't be surprised if natsume gets your exact order correctly at your usual cafe spot, or how the little trinkets he gifts you are something you mention wanting in your previous conversations (or stalking you through his crystal ball when he's too busy to chat with you). once in a while, natsume will go into his secret room to hopefully raise his odds of being together with you. sometimes he stays in there for hours, drawing a card from his tarot deck to see what future you have with him. occasionally he'll put just a tiny bit of love spells on your gifts, just to ensure you'll enjoy it. he'll go to unbelievable lengths just to get you to like him. please just love him and only him, he doesn't know how much longer he can play the waiting game until he 'accidently' slips in a drop of love potion into your drink.

Onryo! Natsume Sakasaki / Oni! Ritsu Sakuma

Sunset dyed the forest rich shades of carmine and amber, washing away their beautiful greens as if beckoning an early Autumn -- a display which blurred together like mixed paint on a canvas as you ran as far as your legs would carry you. The unpleasant taste of iron bathed your throat the harder you pushed yourself past your limit, desperately running from an entity you couldn’t see. Gleeful laughter bounced off the flora like an echo chamber, your mind struggling to make sense of your surroundings the further you delved into the woodlands, the further you ran from home. You swore the branches, rocks, and even trees in your path moved aside for you, parting like a river in the presence of a goddess -- no doubt the result of the onryo’s magic.

“My little koneko-chan~” Another giggle, illusory and attenuated by his magicks. Heart crawled up your throat at the prospect of having lost him -- he sounded far, but you knew better than to let your guard down. “How adorable, thinking you’ll get far!~” He hummed, seemingly right in your ear, but you didn’t dare look over your shoulder.

Oh, how he adored playing this game of cat and mouse! You were his beloved pet, his sweet little darling whose arrival he awaited day in and day out! Although he longed to hold you in his arms and coo at you for returning to his forest, it’d be a waste to not have some fun before he finally caught you.

Your ankle, swollen from an earlier fall, threatened to burst as you applied pressure to it with each step, the adrenaline rushing through your veins hardly enough to numb the pain. Vision blurring with tears and exhaustion, the bitter taste of iron was difficult to ignore, proof that you’d screamed your loudest only for the forest to drown your wails.

And, all at once, it stopped.

There was a lull in air as Natsume’s laughter cut off without warning, leaving you with the faint echoes of his laughter and the otherwise deafening silence belonging to a forest you hardly knew; still, your running didn’t relent.

Not until he appeared in front of you -- not until you ran right into his arms.

“Caught you~”

Lithe fingers, made sharp by the long fingernails of the vengeful spirit, knitted themselves in your hair. You wanted to shriek, the warmth of his chest against yours rolling off of him in waves, but his very presence was enough to paralyze you. Nails, sharp enough to cut into your flesh like knives, twined your locks between fingers that had been stained with blood far too many times, playing with your strands so gently, as if they were nothing more than tempered glass -- pretty, but far too fragile for its own good. You would have struggled, pushed him away long ago had he not cast a powerful charm which rendered your nervous system entirely useless. He smiled impishly at the way your lips still managed to tremble -- at the way even his most powerful magic couldn’t mask the fear in your eyes.

“Oh how I’ve missed my little darling!” He sung, his cascading voice joining the birdsong coming from the dense thicket of trees that surrounded you both -- trapping you in this forest with a spirit who was far too obsessed with you. “You know”, he mused as he draped your limp arms across his shoulders like lovers would. “Your spell hasn’t quite worn off since the last time I laid eyes on you, my little enchantress!”

You couldn’t speak -- whatever spell he’d cast had prohibited your vocal chords from working the way you intended, resulting in embarrassing whimpers on your part. You could only softly whine as he needily nuzzled into the delicate space between your shoulder and neck. “I love you so much, being apart is always so painful!”

Another whimper, this time complimented by his soft laughter. He was terrifying as always, but his voice nonetheless held an ethereal lilt that lowered your defenses and drew you in. You suppose that’s how he lured in his victims, though it still baffled you why’s he taken such a keen interest in you rather than kill you off. You weren’t sure if you should feel grateful or frightful, but the idea of someone taking any interest in a lowly village girl was oddly comforting.

If only you attracted the affections of humans. Trouble seemed to follow you wherever you went, almost always under the guise of a playful spirit with far too much time on his hands.

“Ah, why don’t you stay here with me?” His voice rose in pitch, a testament to how wonderful he found that idea. He’d always be by your side! Always holding your hand, sniffing your hair, nuzzling into your warmth, inhaling your sweet scent -- oh what heaven that’d be! “You don’t have to return to your village, I’m sure they’d understand!” He excitedly chirped, liquid gold eyes sparkling with unadulterated admiration and glee.“After all, what we have is true love!”

He took your lack of response as a resounding yes. “Don’t you agree, little koneko-chan?”

“What a disgusting name, onryo.” Ritsu interjected, throwing his fan at Natsume. The fan simply phased through the spirit before curving through the air and returning to the demon. Ritsu clicked his teeth together, baring his fangs with a look of sheer disgust. “Why do you insist on calling my darling Riko that?”

“And why do you insist on ruining my time with my darling koneko-chan, oni?”

Ritsu hopped from the tree branch, easily landing on his feet with otherworldly grace. You whimpered again at the arrival of yet another stalker, noticing that Natsume’s magic seemed to wear off whenever he diverted his attention; however, eyeing your surroundings for a potential escape quickly proved fruitless as Ritsu strode over to you both and listlessly removed Natsume’s hold on your waist. The spot which Natsume’s arms held immediately grew warmer, the coldness of his ethereal form no longer sapping your heat; of course, Ritsu’s own arm slipped around your waist and tugged you toward him possessively. Natsume scoffed indignantly, fingers immediately curling around your own.

“Why are you here, oni?” Joy had bled from Natsume’s voice upon your other admirer’s arrival. He knew the demon would appear sooner or later, and although the two more or less got along -- enough to share you, as they’d lovingly discussed last time you wandered too far into the forest -- the onryo much preferred he didn’t appear at all.

“It’s my turn.” Ritsu simply stated, smile bordering predatory as he tucked your arms around his waist, body pressed up against yours in a display of dominance toward the other yokai. “Isn’t that right, darling? You must’ve missed me if you wandered back into this forest knowing I’d find you without a problem.”

“T-that’s not true...”, you shyly managed now that you weren’t looking into Natsume’s eyes. Ritsu, luckily, didn’t possess magic that paralyzed you -- not that it mattered when either yokai could catch you before you met the forest’s edge. “T-this is the safest path to the neighboring village.”

“Is that so?” He hummed thoughtfully, the sunset perfectly complimenting his scarlet-red eyes. “I don’t believe you, darling. With monsters like us wandering around, this couldn’t possibly be the safest path.” His eyes caught on your lips, eyeing the delicate skin far too long for your liking. “Admit it -- you belong here with me, you’re just too shy to say it.” Scarlet eyes captured yours, their colors so bright it made your stomach twist with the realization of how powerless you were in this situation. Both of your stalkers in the same vicinity -- the tension so palpable you could hardly breathe. “It’s alright to admit you want to be loved, darling. Go on -- give me permission to love you, as if it’s the only thing you can say.”

“I-I...I c..can’t”, you nearly choked, head starting to spin under the overwhelming pressure, the very presence of two powerful spirits enough to drain what little spiritual energy you’d retained. The weight of Ritsu’s body pressed against yours, the pain of Natsume’s claws digging into your skin -- it was all too much. “P...please let me go, I--”

“Hush, darling. Don’t be like that.” His lips brushed against yours, fangs eagerly gnawing against the delicate flesh -- whether teasing a kiss or a bite, you weren’t sure. “Here, let me help...”, he mused, lips close enough to--

Natsume growled, golden eyes flashing a dangerous shade of red -- the very sight of Ritsu making himself far too comfortable with you, in front of him no less, made his blood boil. Nails all but pierced your skin as his grip tightened around your wrist, harshly tugging you from the demon’s grasp and back into his embrace.

Ritsu’s eyes narrowed with annoyance, as if realizing Natsume was still there. “Didn’t you hear me, onryo? We had an agreement -- it’s my turn.”

“Can’t you see she’s worn out, oni?”

“And whose fault is that?”

Natsume chewed on his bottom lip, brows furrowed as he gazed so lovingly down at you. Your cheeks were flush, eyes heavy with exhaustion and hints of pain as the adrenaline wore off. His eyes flitted to your swollen ankle, feeling a sense of guilt at what he’d caused. “I... I admit this is my fault, but we need to help her at least.”

Ritsu relented, clicking his tongue impatiently. “Fine. She did say this was the safest route.” He smiled at the thought, flashing an almost sadistic glance your way. “We might as well keep her -- she’ll be much safer with us.”

“...For once I agree with you, oni.”

[ notes: teehee thank you :) im always looking for the chance to write about natsume tbh i love him so much … anyway here you are! ive been reading fantasy isekai manhwa recently so this is kinda inspired by that. its also a little dramatic sorry ]

There once was a magician, who lived in a tower. He could see all that happened below, and one day, he fell in love.

There once was a gardener, who lived in the castle. They loved the castle garden, and every day, they went out to trim the plants, water them, take care of them as if they were their own children. The magician was in love with them. He saw them, from his tower, caring for the flowers, and the vegetables, the fruits and the berries. They looked so happy, when they took breaks, they would sit underneath the trees and read, or maybe secretly pick some fruits and eat them. The magician saw this, saw their genuineness and how they wore their heart on their sleeve, and fell madly in love. So in love, he couldn’t bear it. So, he finally stepped out of his tower, and went out to meet the gardener.

That magician’s name was Natsume. And the gardener… Well, the gardener is you. This is your story. For better, or for worse.

Natsume glanced at himself in the mirror. He was dressed in his finest robes, and took ages brushing his hair out. He needed to look his best for you, after all. He had to make a good first impression. After all, he was your future husband! He stepped out of the tower doors, and took a deep breath. He used a spell to transport himself to the castle gardens — nothing too difficult, a simple teleportation spell, was all — and bit his lip nervously. It was unlike him, to be this anxious. You really had such an effect on him…

A familiar voice stopped his train of thought, musical and angelic — at least, to him it was.

“Excuse me, sir, I need to water the roses…” you stared at the strangely-dressed man, bewilderment clear on your face. Ah, you were just too cute…!

“Ah, my Apologies…” he cleared his throat and moved out of your way. As you watered said roses, you tried to make small talk. After all, the awkward silence was killing you both.

“Is this your first time in the castle gardens, sir? I don’t believe we’ve met.”

Natsume lit up. You were talking to him! Finally, after all this time, the two of you were actually interacting. All this time of him watching you silently from the tower window… simply gazing at you, as you were adorably unaware that he was practically melting over everything you did.

“Ahem, yes. This is my first Time.” He looked away shyly. This was all too much! Did he conceal his identity? Did he reveal who he was to impress you? What should he do, really! “I’m the castle magician, you See. I’ve been called out of the tower for some… Business.”

Your eyes widened, and you bowed to him. “Oh, I’m very sorry! I didn’t recognize someone of such high standing… please accept my apologies, sir.”

Natsume was taken aback. Was he really that important? He wasn’t all that… aware of the world outside the tower, as he had spent most of his life there, learning magic from his mother. “It’s… it’s no big Deal. I simply wished to… to view the Gardens.”

You straightened your back. “Well… I could take you for a tour, if you like.”

“I… would love That.”

This is a story of a magician and a gardener. Little does the gardener know, the magician’s feelings for the gardener are much darker than they could imagine. For this is not a story of love, but obsession.

natsume knew what he was doing was wrong- so, so wrong. it was an awful, sneaky thing that would surely end up with you despising him, and he knew he should stop and leave you alone, but... your vulnerable little whimpers begging for him to touch you, flushed cheeks, and writhing body underneath of him... it was too good for him to stop now. he had you, his precious, darling kitten completely under his control.

it had been far too easy for natsume to slip a special little potion into your water bottle while you were distracted- you really should’ve been paying more attention, especially around him. he knew you didn’t trust him enough to simply drink something he gave you, so he had to resort to… less ethical methods. but oh, did it work like a charm!

in just under an hour, you were feeling off- dizzy and warm. when you began to slur your words, your friends got concerned. however, of course, natsume was quick to whisk you away, insiting to your friends he'd take care of you and bring you to the nurse. it wasn't entirely false- he would be taking good care of you.

every inch of you felt bliss; all you could feel was the pure heat and pleasure of natsume’s hands feverishly running up and down your body, his lips peppering kisses wherever he could reach. it was as if the two of you were resting in your own cloud of ecstasy- nothing else mattered at that moment except you and him. your soft, angelic body belonged in his hands.

all you could think, breathe, and feel was natsume.

“you’ve really got me, little kitten,” the second he removed his lips from your body, you whined. “you don’t know how long i’ve dreamed of this.”

with your shirt already removed, natsume’s kisses went from your neck to your chest, desperately savouring every last taste of your skin. such pretty, delicate skin… he couldn’t help but think how much prettier it would be marked and claimed by him.

“p-please… n-natsume…!” you wanted more. so much more- each touch he laid on you felt euphoric. he was teasing you at this point.

natsume never in a million years thought he’d hear his name slip past your parted, swolled lips in such a lewd and frenzied manner. but it wasn’t enough. he wanted to hear you beg, to cry for him to please you more. he had you trapped, and he wouldn’t stop until he had to.

“hmm? my, my… how needy my darling little kitten is… ♪” natsume hummed, a cat-like grin on his lips. he maneuvered himself so his lips were against your ear, “why don’t you beg for me, darling? tell me how much you want me. tell me that you’re all mine, nobody can make you feel as good as i can.”

“yes- i-i’m all yours! y-you’re the only one who… who can make me feel this good.” it was difficult to get the words out, what with his breath fanning your ear and his hands sneaking down lower and lower.

natsume felt as if he could come undone just with those words, those sweet words he had longed to hear for ages. god, what an adorable, docile kitten you were.

“that’s my kitten,” he cooed in a whisper. “how could i ever say no to that?”

with natsume’s cold hands finally beginning to relieve your pressure and your pretty little mewls being music to his ears, he couldn’t help but relish in you. so soft, so needy and worked up…

it was unfortunate that you couldn’t be this good and obedient for him on your own.

Who in the self-aware enstars cast would unironically say “Where´s my hug at?”

So the first person I thought of when reading this ask was Rinne. He absolutely is the type of person that would say that while laughing and even opening up his arms wide, expecting you to hug him. He´s fully aware that he´s being obnoxious and annoying but he still won´t budge until you give in.

Tori says this when he´s throwing one of his childish tantrums with a pout on his face. You didn´t give him the amount of affection he clearly deserves so you better make up for it now! 100 hugs should suffice for the meantime as Yuzuru tries to calm him down ( while being kind of jealous that Tori can so easily demand affection from you)

Ritsu says this when he´s in a sleepy and clingy mood ( so always) and he demands a hug from you whenever he approaches you. Doesn´t matter if you were working on some important project or something or were talking to someone, Ritsu is now standing in front of you and demands his cuddles. He really doesn´t care if he´s making someone else uncomfortable, he needs to recharge his y/n batteries right now! Actually might just throw himself at you even before you agreed to anything.

Rei says it like a grandpa would ask their grandchild at a family reunion when they try to run off after getting their presents. He´s so offended too if you refuse him and might just pull you in his coffin with him so you two can stay bundled up together for a while. Would have been easier if you had just given him his hug from the very beginning, right?

Leo I feel is very similar to Ritsu in that regard but he also just throws himself at you on sight so is there really any point in asking in the first place if he´s already wrapping his arms around you? He´s just big on hugging you in general so expect this to be a regular occurrence

Chiaki already likes showing his affection to his unit mates so of course that also counts for you! He wants to show you how passionate he is about you so he´s also a really big hugger with you. I feel with him, saying “where´s my hug at” has a different vibe than say, with Tori. Chiaki says it while laughing heartily and so you´re probably more likely to indulge him a bit.

Omg, I almost forgot but I swear Kaoru would say that without any sort of shame! He´s so flirty with you, it´s almost overwhelming and so he would love to touch you as much as possible! Just, unbelievably touchy. He would think he´s being so smooth and slick about it too 💀 He really thinks he did something there

When we´re already talking about yanderes that love teasing you and act like they´re all cool and stuff when they´re actually kind of pathetic, let´s also include Natsume in this list! Please, he already calls the player “kitten” of all things in-game, he would say this and you know it. You may not want to accept it but he would say that with a smirk on his face and think he´s sooo charming about it and that there´s no way you will refuse.

Natsume would not be the easiest yandere to deal with, simply because it would be kind of hard to catch on that he harbors such intense, obsessive feelings for you. He likes to act a bit aloof, wanting to keep up his mysterious charm while at the same time hiding his true feelings to not be too vulnerable when talking to other people

He´s also naturally a bit flirty from time to time so you wouldn´t suspect anything when he keeps throwing flirty comments your way in casual conversation. That´s just how he is, right? Natsume tries to give you subtle hints about how he feels about you without revealing the true depth of his love, but you´re just not catching on, which probably frustrates him a fair bit

Natsume loves talking to you a lot, as it allows him to both learn more information about you and get closer to you in a way that looks natural. You don´t need to know that he already knew most of the things you´re telling him, simply from carefully observing you when you go about your day. He still loves listening to your voice regardless and just spending time with you like this is already a blessing in his eyes

He thinks that being very attentive and frequently giving you gifts as “good luck charms” combined with his charming way of speaking would be enough to win you over eventually

In the meantime, he´ll spend a considerable amount of time in one of his secret rooms, trying to improve his odds of getting with you through his magic. Every day he draws a card from his tarot deck as a means to glimpse into the future of your shared life together. He uses his crystal ball to secretly watch you when you have to be somewhere else. He puts a potent love spell on every single gift he gives you. I mean it´s only fair after what you did to his poor heart, right? You bewitched him and pulled him deep into an abyss of obsession with no way to escape

Natsume just can´t get you out of his mind so he has to do absolutely everything in his power to be with you!

This leads me to my next point. Natsume as a yandere is very possessive and gets really jealous really quick. It doesn´t even have to be something like a stranger hitting on you or kissing you ( though god forbid if that were to happen), he already gets jealous when you´re simply talking to someone else and giving them more attention than him

He doesn´t like it, hates it in fact! Now, he´s not going to blame you for this, you´re way too nice of a person to simply turn someone away after all! But whoever took up your time is now an enemy in Natsume´s mind. They dare try to take you away from him? Oh, he won´t let them

While he would try to maintain a calm facade as long as you are still around, not wanting to reveal his true nature to you, after all, Natsume would get noticeably upset at the other person and throw in harsh remarks from time to time, all in an effort to drive them away ( but also to vent his frustration and anger)

You might just assume that this is just regular Natsume being a bit cold with his words and probably don´t worry too much about it ( I mean you´ve probably seen how he talks to Tsumugi), but he is livid.

He´s so so jealous and he hates having to share you with anyone else, even if you aren´t an official couple yet. You´re already his in his mind, the stars have told him as much! You two are destined to be with each other and he´s not going to let some random nobody ruin that for him

After that ordeal, Natsume would be in a bad mood the rest of the day and as soon as he gets back to his secret room, he opens up one of his spellbooks and starts looking through and considering all of his options. Magicians are supposed to bring smiles and help out other people but just this once he wants to abuse that power. He´s going to cast every single curse he can find at the poor person that got too close to you in his eyes, wishing eternal damnation upon them

Natsume will also make sure to talk to you about this person and convince you that they aren´t a good person to be around. Haven´t you heard? They´ve been found stealing things from their classmates! All the missing items have miraculously been found in their bag this morning! They were probably just trying to turn you into another one of their unsuspecting victims by being so disgustingly nice to you. So it would be better if you just stayed away from them, okay? He´ll be here to keep you company instead, you didn´t really need them anyway <3

Please just give up on them or Natsume would be forced to resort to some more violent means to drive them off. There´s nothing he wouldn´t do if it´s to ensure your happy future together

Anon, I´m sorry to tell you that quite a few of them would at least sneak a peek at your diary if they had the opportunity to. Some are more shameless about it while others feel guilty about invading your privacy like this, but the thought of being able to know about your innermost thoughts proves too tantalizing to resist.

How do you feel about your current situation at Ensemble Square? Are you happy? Confused? Scared?

Did you happen to write about your hobbies or your likes and dislikes? That could prove the be very useful information!

Is there anyone in particular you wrote a lot about that could prove to be a problem for them? If so, what do you like about this person that they can´t provide you? They need to know so they can form a proper plan to win your over and in turn defeat the competition.

People that would think similarily to this include : Eichi, Ibara, Rei, Keito, Shu ( he wants to know your preferences when it comes to outfits he intends to design for you. There´s also the underlying fear that someone else might take your attention); Rinne but he won´t keep it a secret and is moreso focused on the rivals part than anything else; Natsume( would also like to scope out the competition out of jealousy, when he feels like you´re slowly slipping away from him and into the grasp of someone else), same for Ritsu ( abandonment issues go brrrr); Nazuna looks at your diary with a lot of guilt, but he just needs to know if you´re in any type of danger. Is anyone making you uncomfortable or bullying you? You know that he´s always there for you if you need help but lately you haven´t been answering all of his countless asks about how you´re doing and who you´ve been with.... He feels horrible about doing this, he knows that he´s invading your privacy by doing this but he just can´t help it. He needs to be sure that you´re safe and if you´re not going to tell him on your own then he needs to check. Otherwise he will just have to stick to trailing after you wherever you go. Would then return your diary to you, making some excuse as to where he found it ( he didn´t look at it! You can trust someone as reliable as Nazuna to tell the truth, right?) because he doesn´t want anyone else to take a look at it. None of the others have the same pure intentions as him, they can´t be trusted with it!

People that look into your diary to see if you said anything about them in particular. They need to know how you feel about them, they want to be reassured that you love them and prefer them over everyone else: Tori ( he´s hoping and expecting that you will praise him as he deserves but when his feelings of inferiority break through he needs the confirmation that you still think of him highly); Tsukasa ( he swears up and down that he would never do something like that, it´s not the right thing to do! But when it´s sitting right there on your desk, completely unattended, the curiosity wins over and he wants to hear that you like him); Mayoi ( with a lot of shame.He doesn´t deserve to hold something you have written in but the fear that you might be disgusted by him is eating away at him and so he goes to check what you really think about him at night, when you´re asleep); Mika ( I think he would also fit in the first category because he definitely is a stalker and wants to know every little thing about you, including who you are close to so he can potentially get rid of them if they get too dangerous. But I put him here because I feel like Mika as a yandere is less about planning out these grand schemes and moreso just very focused on you and what opinion you may have on him. Everything else doesn´t really matter to him); HiMERU ( at first he refuses to, seeing it as something that is unbecoming of the type of idol HiMERU is supposed to be. He would leave it alone most of the time and only picks it up in a panic when he fears that you might know the truth about HiMERU and his true self. Suddenly he´s scared that you might see through his act and that you won´t like the true “him”)

People that are just super curious and want to know all they can about you. There´s not any particular reason as to why they want to spy on you, they just see the opportunity and take it : Leo, Hiyori ( I feel like he could also fit into the former category. He fears being hated and he especially doesn´t want to be hated by you); Hinata, Wataru, Subaru, Hiiro ( he may just not be aware that it´s actually your diary at first and picks it up after you left it somewhere. Takes a look at it out of curiosity)

I´m undecided in what category to put them but they would definitely still read your diary: Izumi ( do I even need to explain? of course he would, that obsessed little stalker), Arashi ( I feel like she´s confident enough that she thinks she can win you over on her own but she still strikes me as the type to check. It´s all okay if it´s in the name of love, right?); Tsumugi also would imo. I can´t really properly explain why though? I feel like he would see your diary and just look at it as if it was the most natural thing in the world? There´s no particular reason as to why, he just feels like doing it. As literally stated before in a different post, Anzu would also read your diary if she ever found it. She both wants to know if any of the units have been bothering you so she can assign them some more work to keep them busy, but she also desperately needs to know that you love her. She´s really desperate for your attention due to the special connection you have. I mean at this point this is already 100% established canon skdns

The rest either wouldn´t look at your diary or I didn´t really know what to say about them or where exactly to place them. I think I´ve already typed more than enough here djnflfn

(after days of trying so hard to find the words to articulate my thoughts) first of all, thank you so much for writing your thoughts on the ideas that i shared! i really love the way you write shu... i find it accurate, and i get overjoyed seeing more content of him! i hope you know that the asks i put in are not requests, and that you willingly answer them because it interested you and made you happy. sometimes, i feel a bit pushy... but i hope you dont feel that way. if you do, then i apologize for my behavior!

shu aside, i would also like to say that i read your thoughts about your anzu favoritism post... and!! i!! (flops to the floor) I LOVE HER and honestly ANZU BRAGGING ABOUT YOUR FAVORITISM TOWARDS HER IS SO FUNNY... i love how you also wrote the possible reactions of the idols regarding anzu's profound pride.

while reading your anzu centered works though... i cant help but think that if i get transported into their world, id probably be the most comfortable with her along with arashi (IF i wasnt aware of both their obsessive tendencies...). how about you? who do you think you would stick to if you got into the game? now im wondering who the most dangerous characters are...

i also thought of this. what if the player, who was already in the game for quite a while, broke down in front of the idols? because while the attention may all be pleasing at first, no doubt they'll get overwhelmed sooner or later. i think there are multiple types of reactions: those who feel pity, those who blame themselves, those who blame others, and those who take advantage of your weakened state. I WONDER IF I MISSED SOME... i would absolutely love to hear your thoughts about this.

Finally getting to this ask now, sorry for the wait! First of all I´m so so happy to hear that you like how I portray Shu! He´s such an interesting and complex character so I can´t help but be a bit scared that I´m going to write him a bit out of character. So this reassurance is just really really nice! A very special boy🥺 I also wish that there was more content for him ( or yandere enstars in general) but I´ll just have to put in the effort myself and deliver ^^

ANZU MY BELOVED!! I love the enthusiasm for her, she´s so pretty and nice so it´s very fun to write her as being pretty unhinged in this AU >:) She deserves to brag a little, as a treat. I swear writing all the different reactions was fun for me too, we love to see the idols be jealous and pouty

Who would I stick to if I was transported into the world of enstars? Also some characters reacting to the player breaking down after having to deal with all of their affections for so long

Hm who would I stick to if I got into the game? Anzu and Arashi are good choices, I agree. They´re both nice and doting towards you and they aren´t as intimidating as some of the other idols, just very approachable! I think Ra*bits and Ryuseitai as a whole are pretty safe to be around. Even when they´re yandere I feel like their behavior would be pretty tame compared to the others and they would be so nice to you! Nazuna and Chiaki in particular love to help you and are always there for you if you need assistance with anything.

I mean how are you supposed to be uncomforabtle around someone as open and passionate as Chiaki? He´s such a great guy!

Trickstar also feels pretty safe though I feel Subaru might drag the whole lot of them down a bit because of his antics sometimes fjsbf like he´s nice and all but I feel like he would be pretty overwhelming to be around after some time. Consider how he is in canon and then imagine him literally being obsessed with you 🙃 Makoto also is a stuttering awkward mess around you so it might be a little hard to hold a conversation but he´s not the problem here

Would definitely stay away from Eichi, Ibara,Tori, Izumi, Rinne and Shu though. Like, I love you my pink haired blorbo but he´s either kind of harsh and rude or he´s so obviously obsessed with you that you´d start to feel stifled and uncomfortable real quick

I think the others are pretty self-explanatory kbdhlahbdhla

And yeah honestly, while the attention would be nice at first, it would get very overwhelming really quick. Like all of these people swarming around you all the time and especially when you find out about their yandere tendecies you would want to get out of this very fast. You have literal *stalkers* here at ES and people who would murder to have you to themselves. That´s fucking scary

The breakdown is inevitable at this point, the only question is how many people would be around to see it happen.

I haven´t written anything for him in a long time and that needs to change so, Natsume! He would definitely use this to his advantage though he also kind of pushes the guilt onto the others having wronged you instead of recognizing that he too played a part in this. Goes up to comfort you by putting a hand on your shoulder and telling you how sorry he is that everyone has been bothering you so much. He knows some secret places inside the building so why don´t you to with him to a place no one else knows of? He really is so sorry about all of this but it seems like that´s the only way for you be safe from all of these pesky idols :/

Mika feels kind of guilty about this entire thing, probably aware that his stalking didn´t help your mental state but he also just can´t stop doing it. He knows he´s not worthy of your love yet but he still needs his daily dose of being near you and watching you! So he isn´t really going to stop with any of his creepy behavior..... He may get a little feral though once he learns that all of the other people at ES have been bothering you. None of them are worthy of you either so maybe he needs to take matters into his own hands to deal with them

Honestly Nazuna´s yandere behavior is just going to get worse from this. He´s already the protective worrywart kind of person so to see you break down like this hurts a lot to see. It kind of reminds him of himself and how he felt in the past and he feels truly bad that he contributed to your pain even though he only meant well. The way he feels about you isn´t right, he knows, but now that your mental state has spiralled like this, the urge to protect you and make sure you´re okay has just gotten stronger. He knows he´s no saint in this entire ordeal but there are even worse threats in all of this. His utmost priority will be keeping people like Izumi or Kaoru away from you.

Was about to fall asleep but suddenly had this silly little idea and just had to write it down and post it in case anyone had any thoughts or if I wanted to elaborate on it in the morning.

So anyway, I was kind of thinking about both yandere Shu and yandere Natsume. I don't think I've ever written general yandere headcanons for either of them so I was kind of thinking something along the lines of "man it probably wouldn't be all that easy to find out they're so obsessed with you"

I think this for different reasons. I think with Shu, it would stem from the fact that he would only truly go yandere when it's already "too late". He needs a lot of time to even start to trust you enough to call you a friend and his descent is very slow and almost unnoticeable to his darling.

He's not very open about his feelings in the first place and with how slow the relationship is progressing, you'd have no idea just how Shu feels about you.

With Natsume, I feel like you would maybe have a better chance of figuring it out due to his rampant jealousy and a faster building obsession, but he's not one that's always very obvious about it either. He's always been kind of flirty even from the very moment you knew him so you don't really bat and eye when he just keeps going with it.

Natsume also has a tendency to not always express his true feelings and he likes to include untruths in his sentences or talk about his real thoughts in a roundabout way that is likely to go over your heard if you haven't known him long enough

So you get the basic idea, right? You wouldn't be so quick to figure out something is clearly wrong with the way they feel about you.

So what if, under some kind of twist of fate, Eichi ended up being the one to warn you of their true intentions?? Yes, that's where I was going with this the entire time. The thought wouldn't leave me alone anymore until I wrote it down.

Like I'm not sure how exactly it would come to that but Eichi is very smart and he's good at figuring people out. So just imagine this. Their shared history is obvious and they already hate Eichi a lot for what he has done in the past

So how are they going to feel once you start distancing yourself from them after you learned about their true intentions? I mean it's scary and you don't really feel comfortable being around them any longer.

And they kind of get a bit desperate because why are you avoiding them? They don't recall doing anything wrong? You couldn't have figured them out, right? Surely they didn't say anything incriminating?

They just love you! They need you!

So imagine their anger when they find out that Eichi, of all people, was the cause for all of this. He was the one that told you all these scary things, he is the reason you don't want to talk to them anymore.

Was what he had done to them not enough?? Did he also have to take away the one person they loved more than anyone else??

This would get so intense, for real. Please anyone feel free to add your thoughts if you have any!

Hi cupid, it´s good to see you :D

Hm, I always have difficulties deciding when it comes to what character is the most *insert thing* but here are what came to mind when I read this ask ^^

For twst, I think Malleus, Leona and Jamil would be some of the most possessive yanderes. All of them actually for kind of similar reasons

Malleus has the "benefit" of being a dragon fae and dragons are known to be possessive creatures when it comes to their treasures so that´s one thing that would point me towards yandere Malleus being possessive. Then there´s also the fact that he´s probably very lonely. Because of who he is and what he looks like, most everyone at NRC is scared of him and that´s why Malleus has a lot of trouble making any friends at all, which probably makes him very sad.

And then you come along and suddenly there is someone that doesn´t fear him and cares about him. It´s no surprise that he wouldn´t be willing to ever let you go after all this time of being alone, right?

Leona for as long as he can remember has always been the second choice, his brother always getting all of the praise simply because he was born earlier. This by no doubt made Leona bitter and caused him to not want to give anything his best efforts, as it would still amount to nothing in his mind.

But then suddenly you come along and somehow manage to worm your way into his heart. And suddenly being second place in your heart is something that doesn´t satisfy Leona anymore. Just this once, he wants to be first. He wants to be the only person that gets to hold and touch you and he´s willing to fight dirty to achieve that. He´s not going to leave things up to chance and risk that someone else might sweep you away

Jamil, similar to Leona actually, always had to stay in the shadows his entire life. He was supposed to serve Kalim and raise him up while making sure that he himself was always inferior.

From book 4 we know how much this hurts Jamil so when his darling finally comes along and cares about him and not Kalim, his possessive side begins to show. He´s never had that kind of attention before and he fears that it isn´t going to last. What if you actually start to like Kalim more than him and leave him behind once more? He can´t let that happen.

Jamil decides that just this once, he wants to have something for himself

As for enstars, hoo boy there are so many characters that I´m probably going to forget someone that is shown to be really possessive in canon but for now some of my picks are:

Ritsu. I think you all saw this coming. Ritsu is the clingiest character I know ( “You know other clingy characters??”) and he´s shown to be very jealous and demanding when it comes to the people he loves. He doesn´t want to be separated from his darling for even a second and gets jealous when they´re spending time with someone else. Absolutely is the type to bite you just so others can see that you have been claimed by him.

This all stems from his abandonment issues that he developed due to Rei and the war so know you know who to thank for having this possessive vampire boy breathing down your neck 24/7

Another one I see as being very possessive as a yandere would be Natsume. I actually don´t really have like a very good reason for this but he just strikes me as the type? He definitely also is the type of boyfriend to get really jealous and agitated if someone else spends too much time with his darling.

Actually remember that time in Wonder Game where he was upset and scared because he thought Tsumugi was going to leave him so he like blackmailed a teacher so they would show him Tsumugi´s files where he wrote down what he wished to do after he was done with school? Normal behaviour

Shu I feel would get possessive once you´ve actually mentioned to break down his barriers and got to know him better. He´s not one to be open about his feelings and his rather.... harsh way of speaking to people that are “bothering” him don´t make it very easy to talk to him in the first place so it would take a lot of effort on your end to get closer to him.

But once you do manage to achieve that somehow? He gets very attached very easily and you probably don´t even notice the subtle changes to the way he treats you. Starts to try and drive off other people with his sharp tongue so they won´t take you away. Demands you to stay around while he sews because he likes your company.

Korka showed a screenshot of this before but literally the type of guy that gets offended when you say you have a life outside of him???

He would have been way worse if we were talking about past Shu and he has gotten way better by now but I still think some of that would remain if he really does love you. It moreso stems from a fear of being left behind than of a need to control you, though they do overlap at times

Horrortober Day 16

And with a bit of delay, here we have day 16! I really didn´t want to skip this one because I had planned to write for Natsume here, another favorite of mine ^^

I´m going to try and catch up on the days I have missed but they probably won´t be posted on the actually correct dates anymore because I very much doubt I can catch up in a single day

For this one I believe I should mention that I´m not at all versed in things like magic, spells and witchcraft so I apologize if this is very innacurate to the real thing! I just thought it would make for a good story! I´m trying to get into tarot reading but since I´m just a beginner I used different websites to help find meanings for different cards. This took quite a while for me to write because I kept getting distracted while reading thorugh different card meanings kfnsnf

Day 16: Spell --> “It’s like you put a spell on me.”

The shuffling of cards was the only thing to be heard in the depths of a single hidden away room at the back of Yumenosaki. There was no light source except for the small candle standing on the floor, just big enough to illuminate anything close by and nothing more. There was a young man sitting cross-legged right there in the corner as his hands once again started picking up the cards laid out in front of him and with an annoyed scowl on his face he frantically shuffled them again for the umpteenth time this evening. If the cards would just align with what he wanted to see from them then he could have stopped doing so a long time ago but as they refused to tell him what he wanted to hear, he just kept going.

On this evening, Natsume felt especially unhinged, more so than usual. For the longest time he had been enamored with you and your adorable expressions. From the very first moment he had seen you he knew that you two were meant to be together. He felt it in his very soul, there was an instant connection between you two, one he refused to ever give up on.

And he knew that you must feel the same from the way you would always blush so cutely when he tried flirting with you or called you loving nicknames. Hah, nothing could beat your embarrassed expression when he calls you his little kitten! He keeps thinking about it when he tries to fall asleep, you´re in his every waking thought, no matter what he does.

“It´s LIKE you put A spell on ME”, he mumbled to himself as images of your smiling face kept entering his mind. And then a particular recent memory came back to him that made him scowl intensely and his hands twitched as his shuffling grew more frantic. The very thought of what happened today made his blood boil.

The worst thing that could have happened, happened. That stupid mophead Tsumugi actually had the nerve to ask you out on a date and you being way too kind to refuse anyone even agreed to go with him! At that moment Natsume had really wanted to rip Tsumugi´s head off, how dare he think he deserves even a fraction of your attention? How dare he try and take you away from him? Natsume had always had an inkling that his unit mate might harbor feelings for you but he never imagined he would actually gather up the courage to ask you out. He had always been so pathetic and weak, the idea seemed ludicrous to him which is why he had never tried to discourage him from doing so. Now he really wished he did. Natsume was certain nothing would actually come out of the date, you were destined to be with him after all, but just picturing you and Tsumugi together in a romantic setting made him so unbelievably mad.

He felt like he needed to reassure himself of your eternal love so he went to his secret room in the school to ask the stars for confirmation. With tarot cards in hand, he was fully prepared for them to just tell him what he already knew, so why wasn´t it working out how he had envisioned it? In the countless of hours of reshuffling and redrawing his trusted tarot cards, Natsume had seen the Five of Pentacles one too many times now so that every time the card popped up again, he grew more and more desperate. This just couldn´t be true, loneliness and abandonment, rejection? No there must be some kind of mistake! So he kept reshuffling the cards, hoping for the outcome he wished. But no matter how often he tried, the stars refused to confirm what he already knew.

The longer he sat there in the confines of this room, the more restless and frustrated he became. Then a thought crossed his mind. If fate decided to be stubborn with him then he could also just take a look if there was even a chance of success of a relationship between you and Tsumugi. Maybe this was just a fluke and there was nothing for him to worry about, there would be no blossoming feelings between the both of you! He wouldn´t allow it in the first place.

So, with renewed vigor Natsume posed a different question to his cards. “Is there ANY chance of a RELATIONSHIP between y/n and TSUMUGI?” Then he concentrated his energy on the deck of cards laying in front of him and repeated the question a few times in his head before dutifully shuffling the tarot cards again. When he finally felt satisfied and his fingers grew itchy to finally have his answer, three cards fell out of the deck in his hand on their own. Knowing that this must be a sign from above he laid them down in a straight line in front of him and with bated breath, he flipped all of them upright.

With widened eyes, Natsume almost felt his heart stop as his eyes gazed at the now visible three cards in front of him, before he felt it beating faster than ever before. His eyes started twitching in anger and at the moment he wanted nothing more than to rip the three cards apart that were mocking him so very clearly, he wanted to forget this ever happened.

The Sun, The Lovers and The Fool all laid out in front of him in upright position, all of them major arcana which meant they had profound meaning.

This really couldn´t be happening now, his mind was swirling as he repeated some of the keywords related to the cards he just drew. Success, positivity, happiness, supportive relationship, balance, union, a new relationship.

He let out an unamused, dry laugh at the absurdity of the whole situation. And now that stupid mophead just decided to come along and steal you away from him just like that? It wasn´t fair! He punched the ground in frustration as he grit his teeth.

“Just WHAT is my ROLE in all OF this?!”, Natsume screamed out in frustration and wildly threw his arms around, utterly enraged and furious. While doing so, he accidentally knocked over the deck of cards he had shuffled beforehand that had still been sitting on the ground in front if him. Disgruntled he leaned down to reorganize the cards back into a neat pile, silently cursing to himself while doing so. Just then he noticed that under all the thrown around cards, there was a single up-face card sitting at the top of the whole mess. Picking it up to study it closer in the candlelight, he soon came to realize that the card he was now holding was in fact The Devil in upright position.

It was another card of the major arcana, symbolizing addiction, obsession and a lack of regard to a partner´s feelings. Speechless for a second, Natsume then let out another long and loud laugh, finding it all very funny in a twisted sense, was this the universe answering his earlier question? Mulling over it a bit more, a wide grin stretched over his face.

Yes, he could work with that. He knew how utterly obsessed he was with you so there was really no chance he would let you go anytime soon. He would just need to help fate to get back on the right track again, won´t he?

A plan quickly formulating in his plan, Natsume got back up on his feet to take a look at the many vials sitting atop the shelf next to his cauldron.

Now where was that rat poison he had stored away somewhere around here?

Strength - How outwardly passionate is this yandere around their darling?

With Natsume I feel like it's a mixed bag of sorts. He's not one to openly gush and ramble about you in public ( he does that in his head) and instead tries to keep a "cool" air around him. Don't be mistaken, he certainly likes to flirt and tease you and does so very frequently! He really does try to look composed and not make you notice how obsessed he is with you but internally Natsume is freaking out about how cute you are! As a sign of affection he often calls you his kitten or other similar terms of endearment, even when talking to others. He might also wrap an arm around you in public but would try to deny how fast his heart starts beating when you're around him. Fails because he himself flushes bright red

When you're alone he might tell you with an adoring look on his face that fate must have brought you together

The Star - How would this yandere deal with their darling’s loved ones?

Natsume is a very jealous person so he doesn't feel too happy about the people that are close to you. Your friends will surely be scrutinized by him and if he believes they aren't worth your attention ( which in his eyes no one is) then he might try to drive a wrench between you and your friends. The type of person to be two-faced. Would act all friendly while you are around but as soon as he's alone with your friends, Natsume's face would turn serious and he starts making passive aggressive comments at them, trying to make them feel worse about themselves. They should take a look at themselves, do they truly think they deserve you? Surely they can see that you would be way happier without them.

If they're your family he's obviously a bit more relaxed as there's no immediate threat to your relationship. He acts amicable enough around them and hopes he can earn their favor that way

The Devil - What taboo things would this yandere do to their darling?

Multiple things. Because Natsume has serious jealousy problems he would be vary of any kind of interaction you have with others, especially when you aren't dating yet.

If you were to have a crush on someone, he would try anything in his power to prevent that relationship from happening. This could either be by planting seeds of doubt in your mind about the kind of person your crush is or even going to your crush and telling them that they have to reject you if they don't want anything to happen to them.

He would have the audacity to comfort you when you come to him crying about the way your crush practically ran away from you when you confronted them. You poor thing! He's sure there's someone else that's even better for you...

I also very much believe that Natsume might try to brew a love potion if all else fails. He wants you to love him at all costs so if he truly feels hopeless in a relationship between you two happening then he might feel forced to make it happen. Don't worry, he's going to take good care of you and you're going to feel so hazy that you won't even notice anything is wrong! Just relax and let him love you!

The Magician - How would this yandere use their abilities/status on their darling?

If you're Switch's producer than Natsume will certainly take advantage of his role as unit leader. If there's anything you need to discuss then it's best to just come straight to him right? There's no one better for the job than him! Especially don't bother with asking Tsumugi about anything relating idol work, that mophead is a good- for- nothing!

If you believe in magic then he would offer to read you your fortune and secretly manipulate the results in a way that pushes you in the right direction, his direction. If the stars themselves are telling you that you two are meant to be together then who are you to deny it?

The Lovers - How would this yandere deal with their darling being in a relationship with someone else?

Natsume is a very jealous person so once he finds out that you're in a relationship with someone else, he will be in a miserable mood for a very long time. He just can't believe it. He knows you two are meant to be, he can feel it so clearly, so why are you wasting your time with someone else? They quite clearly aren't worth your time!

Natsume could offer you so much more! He loves you way more than they ever could and you will soon realize that very fact!

In the meantime he will stand to the side with a constant frown on his face as he watches on in disgust and jealousy when he has to see you spend time with that fool.

He will try anything in his power to tear you two apart. He will make you realize that he is by far the better choice and soon you'll be where you belong, right there in his arms!
