Jake Kim

After what feels like a lifetime of instant ramen and worrying about Big Deal, it's nice to have some homecooked meals and know that at least one part of his life is running smoothly.

Will always try to split the chores and errands evenly with you, because it's Jake. And if you wave him away and say no it's fine, he will follow you around anyway because spending time with you? Yes please.

Goo Kim

If you want to be a housewife, knock yourself out, honeybun. If you want to just sit around on your ass all day and do nothing, that's fine too. Goo will hire cleaners. Whatever makes you happy.

Actually loves doing shared chores with you though, and canonically he loves to cook. You do the prepping, he does the actual chef work. A little because it's a fun roleplay for him, and a lot because he does appreciate time together where he can just ramble on to you.

Gun Park

Housewife is.. fine. He can provide more than enough for the both of you. Honestly doesn't have any feelings about it one way or the other.

From a practical and pragmatic sense, it's nice to have someone he trusts look after your home. And then if/when there are kids coming along then it's also a lot easier if you are a stay-at-home parent too.

Samuel Seo

You're not so much a housewife, as a kept wife. Samuel has the vibes that if he can afford to so, and he absolutely can, then you are not lifting a finger.

Yes, he loves you but more because it's a matter of pride that he can provide for you in all areas of your life. You keeping the household running smoothly? Fine. But doing dishes? He has the ridiculous notion that it's below you.

Eugene

Yeah, you're also not going to be a housewife with Eugene. You can be in a power couple with him, but there is zero expectation to be a traditional housewife. You guys employ people for that.

Enjoy your shopping and brunches and being on the board of charities or whatever with other socialites.

DG/James Lee

This guy has enemies and unhinged fans coming out of his butthole, so for your safety and his peace of mind, housewife is great. Leaves pretty much most of the errands to you as his fame prevents him doing even the most simple things (but yet no one catches him beating up minors).

Extremely private with his personal life and with you. You're the only bit of normalcy in his insane life (lives?) and appreciates the sanctuary and home you have both built. Seeing you do the laundry, dust, cook, whatever? It's a sigh of relief for his soul.

Zack Lee/Vasco Tabasco

The two of them are pretty similar here.

Are you kidding? Absoutely loves that you are a housewife, there's something about the fact that you are looking after their wellbeing that they adore.

Has very traditional ideas of gender roles, much to the chagrin of you at times, so them being the financial provider, and the household being your domain sounds great to them. Any issues with that? Don't worry, just let them know and they will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy.

Xiaolong

Takes a long time to get used this, and even then you being a housewife and looking after the household and family never quite feels right.

Don't blame Xiaolong though, he has had a lifetime of servitude. Always feels a little guilty about not looking after you in all areas of your life. He never quite fully breaks out of this mindset but is forever grateful for you and all that you do.

Vin Jin

What housewife? You're on the road touring with him when he's an international platinum-selling rapper.

Johan Seong

Well a positive of you being a housewife is that the further away from danger you are, the better.

However, being the sole financial provider does stress him out. He's had to scrape so goddamn hard for his mother's surgery, and the thought that the he has to do that forever? It does freak him out a little.

Much much prefers an equal partnership.

Eli Jang

Loves the stability of having you being a housewife for Yenna.

He trusts you with his life, and more importantly with Yenna. Eli knows she is in a safe pair of hands with you so that is a massive weight off his mind.

Overall it does a lot for healing the shitty childhood he had. Experiencing the loving home you have cultivated means more to him than you will ever know.

Warren Chae

He is the best househusband, and no one can convince me otherwise. Being able to have a calm life, with a loving partner and his biggest concern are looking after the home and family? After worrying about Hostel? Sign him the fuck up.

Warren will wave you off to work with a smile, the most delicious home-cooked lunch ever and a little note for you to read and perk up your day.

How do you feel about the portrayal of plurality in Homestuck? Because it’s not good.

Cherubs are “supposed” to predominate over their other personality. With Calliope being portrayed as naive for trying to co exist.

Horuss is mocked for being a system. But I’d say it was a king fun of people who pretend to be mentally Ill on social media for clicks.

okay. so

homestuck is one of the best pieces of media of all time for plurality and i fuckin mean it. no shot do not pass go i have NEVER seen anything that is more built from the ground up to Support plural reads. like, to the point where it feels impossible to read homestuck without it.

as a work dealing with two huge primary themes of a) finding yourself/identity/growing up, and b) ideas coming to life, plurality is pretty much the Perfect intersection between the two of them. like.

take rose for example.

rose is plural and it's great.

when the doomed timeline evaporates, future dream rose does not actually "cease to exist." she ceases to exist as her own person -- her memories, experiences, personality, thoughts (or, as shorthand, her selfstuff) all flows back into rose prime. and that experience is just something rose has to roll with. one becomes two -- that other rose is still in her mind.

jade's plural and it's great.

when her dream self awakens as jadesprite, jade has a horrific argument with her. if you're plural i'm sure you understand. fighting with an age-regressed version of you, stuck in a traumatic past, who WONT FUCKING LISTEN -- we've all . been there.

she has involuntary barks, she can't stop seeing images of fire, she wants to go back to nonexistence but she doesnt want to die and it's torture,

and then in cascade, jade fuses with her.

dream jade is still in there. that part of her she has to grapple with is still real. her dog who she loves is in there, too -- but, yknow. woof

then grimbark gets forcefully introjected into her. i've seen a few fics play with the idea that the grimbark personality is still residually there (read ygtpoasu), but it's not a huge thing that's explored in the text. more backgrounded. but still! her crisis of identity is in there.

wanna know what's NOT backgrounded

tavros's plurality is like, a pretty big factor in his character!!!! it's one of the bigger points vriska uses to bully him with (because she's projecting because she's projecting because she's projecting, because she's also plural and kins mindfang), it's like. a big thing that he has to cope with and figure out.

kanaya suggested tavros treat his self-confidence as his own brain guy, like, completely sincerely. she genuinely thought it would help, and it sorta did!!!!!

and like

it is FAR from the only positive example of plurality in the comic.

like. look at sollux and aradia defending "alternate reality copies" of characters -- which can be pretty easily extrapolated to them talking about fictives

like. !!!!

i dunno, man. i think that homestuck is a DEEPLY plural story. you should read mtm and kgtac for more exploration of these themes. read detective pony too while you're at it. like.

Leviathan x Reader Tickle fic!

“Hey! There’s my favorite human! C’mere!”

“EEP! Mahahammon! Stop thahat!”

Leviathan watched from the couch as you giggled and squirmed in Mammon’s arms while he tickled you with the biggest grin on his face, which made Levi want to punch him. This wasn’t the first time he witnessed something like this happen between you and one of his brothers, you were ridiculously ticklish after all, and none of them would pass up the opportunity to tease you. None, except, well, himself. The reclusive Avatar of Greed was way too shy to even attempt tickling you. What if you think he’s gross? What if you don’t want to get tickled by him at all? It seemed so natural when his brothers tickled you, but he couldn’t imagine any scenario of him doing it that wouldn’t turn awkward.

“Hehe, sorry human, gotta keep ya on your toes!” Mammon teased and walked away, and Levi flinched when he felt you plop onto the couch next to him. You were still giggling and breathing heavily after Mammon’s sudden tickle attack, and Leviathan found himself staring at you a bit too intently.

“Um…Levi? Everything okay?” You asked, catching his gaze. He blinked and went red in the face, looking away from you and focusing on his DDD screen.

“Y-yep! All good!”

The demon sweated nervously when he felt your concerned stare on himself. It’s as if you were reading him like a book!

“You look upset. You can tell me if something is bothering you, that’s what best friends are for!”

Best friends. He blushed. You, treating a yucky otaku like him as your best friend? And the way you said it seemed so genuine, he couldn’t help it.

“W-Well…I just…Feel like you hang out with my brothers way more than me! Y-yeah, that’s it! You barely spend time with me at all!”

It was partially true, because of RAD work you’ve barely had the time to play videogames with your favorite otaku.

“Aww, I’m sorry Levi! We can play something in your room tonight if you want?”

Of course, he accepted and watched you happily skip away to get back to your studies. However, the tickling thing was still in his mind. How could he possibly ask you about something like that?

By the time you both were gaming on the floor of his room, Levi kept glancing over at you instead of focusing on the game. He craved being closer to you, he wanted to make you laugh just like his brothers always did. His head was filled with anxious thoughts of his brothers stealing you away from him forever, all because he was too wimpy to get closer to you.

“Hey, MC, c-can I…ask you something?” He muttered, finally getting enough courage after not having said a word in a while. You just assumed he was focused on the game, but deep down you knew there was something he left unsaid.

“Hmm? Of course, anything.” You replied sweetly and his heart skipped a beat. He paused the game and turned to face you, nervousness pooling at the bottom of his stomach.

“W-well…It’s just that…Ugh, I can’t take it anymore! I hate watching from the sidelines how my brothers touch you and tickle you all the time! And you seem to enjoy it, too! I want to make you laugh like that as well…”

You blinked a few times after hearing his little outburst.

“Wait, so…You want to tickle me?”

Leviathan gulped nervously and nodded, shutting his eyes and balling his fists.

“Y-yeah- but it’s fine if you dontwantobecauseIknowImsuchagrossandyuckyotakuand-”

“Hey hey, of course you can tickle me! And don’t say that, you’re not gross at all.”

You placed a hand on his which snapped him out of his rant and he looked at you with a blush, his voice stuck in his throat. You were always so kind to him, he felt silly for thinking you’d be mad.

“Can I? Really?”

“Yeah, why not? I don’t mind. You don’t even have to ask, you know?”

“I just didn’t think you’d want ME to tickle you…”

You squeezed his hand and smiled fondly at him, shaking your head.

“Levi, I like you a lot. I wouldn’t have minded either way. Now, what should I do? Lift my arms up or-?”

“Oh! Um, yeah, you could do that…”

You shuffled into a more comfortable sitting position and lifted your arms, interlocking your hands behind your head. Your shirt was lifted slightly, exposing some of your stomach, and you started feeling nervous when you noticed Levi looking at it.

“Right…I guess I’ll just…” The demon mumbled in concentration and tentatively slipped a hand under your shirt to reach your stomach, while the other hand went around your side. You gasped softly when his fingers scribbled against your bare stomach and struggled not to squirm away from Levi, while he continued exploring your tickle spots. He noted the wobbly smile on your face and continued the scribbles to your belly, but used his other hand to poke you in the ribs.

“Eek! Hehey!” You giggled and his eyes lit up. He scooched even closer to you and now both of his hands were on your ribs, poking and scribbling at them, which made you start laughing for real.

“Ahaha! W-wait! Lehehevi! KYaAh!”

Oh no. He hit your underarms this time and you couldn’t keep your arms up anymore, clamping them down to protect yourself from the ticklish feeling. What made it even more flustering is how concentrated Levi seemed on your laughter, trying to wiggle his fingers in the way that made you squeal the most. He was practically on top of you now because you were squirming so much, the realization of which made you blush. Leviathan didn’t seem to notice the compromising position you two were in and straddled you to restrain your movements even further.

“You’re so sensitive here, I wonder what other spots make you squeal…” He mumbled to himself but it still reached your ears, making you get butterflies in your stomach. Who knew Levi could be so bold? But you didn’t have time to linger on that thought because he suddenly started tickling your neck, making you squeal and scrunch your shoulders. His second hand went back to clawing at your belly and by the time Leviathan exploited that spot to the fullest you were a blushing giggling mess.

Your laughter had gone silent and Leviathan took that as his queue to stop.

“Ah, I’m sorry, did I overdo it? Are you alright?” He asked nervously and you nodded, laying underneath him and catching your breath. Only then did he realize that he was on top of you. With a gasp, he practically flew off of you and backed away, blushing profusely.

“OHMYGODIMSOSORRYIDIDNTREALIZEIWASONTOPOFYOUAAA-”

You had to reassure him that it didn’t bother you for at least fifteen minutes after that, and you honestly couldn’t tell who was more flustered by this whole ordeal between the two of you.

So I dunno if you are still accepting request but I will shoot my shot. I'm that anon who fixated on Lizzie's mole btw 😌. I was rewatching age of ultron y'know just cause I missed emo wanda. Yeah, anyways what if reader was one of the casualties from hulk's rampage and she lost her eyesight. Coincidentally, reader is like previously a test subject that didn't awaken or a genetically modified baby(self enhancement thingy), awakened due to trauma [lol] and is currently under training for newly recruit for the team. What if reader held a grudge to the OG avengers and to the witch that made Hulk go out of control? not really to the extent that she will like blow them up. Like she doesn't fawns up to them. Reader closes her eyes most of the time but when she does open them , its so majestic(eyecolor changes like that of a dying chameleon or basically rgb lights on a pc) that when wanda saw them the first time she's awestruck and don't know what to do since reader doesn't like her that much.

I WANT THIS TO BE ANGST THO BUT MAKE IT FLUFFY ALSO. up to you! I dunno if you want to write this tho. It's okay. Rambling random plots(cant write). I just want to see some reader fic that don't fawns or is saved by the avengers. I wanna see the other side of the coin. One of the casualties but is forced to be with them cause yknow powers. okay. okay okay okay yeah. i'm completely normal about this. tlou game spoilers ahead.

so i picture joel and ellie finding preg!reader during the summer after the events with henry and sam, prior to getting to tommy's safezone. reader is 3-4 months pregnant, so they aren't noticeably showing, but they are having side effects and are clearly not strong enough to be outside of a QZ. joel is probably a little cranky at first that reader is sickly but once they reveal that they're pregnant it all kind of makes sense. reader's s/o got killed by an infected hoard, so they have mega survivor's guilt, and all they wanna do is find a safe place to have this baby. joel agrees bc he and ellie are already looking for tommy so like this could work out.

a month goes by and the group finds tommy, and reader is definitely showing now. tommy totally jests and is like "ayyy so you got busy huh bro" and joel gets angsty bc SARAH and reader has to explain that no joel isn't the father and he just agreed to help them get to a safe space. joel and reader have like a heart to heart and they've definitely got a friendship now, so when joel decides he's taking ellie to the Fireflies, reader is a little distraught bc *friend is leaving* but they understand that it's vital for the future, so they part ways.

fast forward to the end of the game, joel and ellie return to tommy's base, and joel and reader have a little reunion bc *friends*. except this time, reader has given birth and now has a little girl only a few months old. reader introduces joel to their daughter and joel has a moment bc it reminds him of when sarah was born and he gets emo bc he isn't the father but he misses this. :( so like he subtly hints that he'd be glad to help out if they need it, and reader agrees bc "tommy and maria are a big help but tommy sucks with babies." reader and joel grow closer bc it turns out joel is big dad energy and is great with kids even after all these years and is so gentle. they learn about each other's past and of reader's s/o and about sarah. i imagine it's a slow burn but eventually the baby starts trying to talk and calls joel "dada" or something and joel cries and reader is like "yknow that wouldn't be a bad idea" and then they kiss.

the end. i rambled so much. i'd write a fic about this but i have such a bad time concentrating man.

i like how you foreshadow events! like i know they are coming because yknow. read this damn thing about 5 times now. but i notice new things each time damnit!

you would not believe how vivid that scene from guitar villain of panthera going so hard is for me, like that is genuinely one of the images that comes up for me when i think about this fic

once again. foreshadowing. i actually didn't notice the first few times that Lilas mum says "the city of love" and then teases her about a romantic relationship, and the way Lila reacts?? excellent. love noticing new details

i actually fucking love anarka so much frfr, you got her character down so nicely, like she's not 'important' but she is and it comes through (also i will always always lose it over you using scottish slang, sometimes you use it in such a strange way and i love it)

onto the questions!

ok so people joke about it in the asks but will we be seeing Rose with a miraculous? i think the dynamic between juleka and Rose as she is transformed would be absolutely hysterical, but also seeing Julekas thoughts on Rose being in danger would be fascinating. (along with knowign which miraculous she would be getting)

is Marinette ever going to figure out who Panthera is? and to extend that question; what are tikkis motivations for identities being kept so secret whereas plagg doesn't care as much? or is it simply to stay true to some of the show?

I've noticed that Juleka sometimes has bouts of confidence (eg. horrificator) and acts more 'like panthera' but i have been curious on whether she would start to be more talkative in general, not that she has / should be but i've just been curious about that since i first started reading if i'm honest with you. (i find that panthera is similar to masking and how i view that so Juleka would probably be increibdly socially exhausted if she did so) i also ask because it would be really funny to see her casually flirt with friends really smoothly without the cat ears

will we be seeing more of Rose noticing Juleka and Marinette havign some sort of bond? before she realised her feelings it was explicitly stated (i think in numerical? replacement for reflecta.) that she felt jelous over their interactions and i am interested to see if that would continue (though i may be forgetting details! i am only 500 pages into a 1700 roundabout document)

2. Eventually. I'll hold my tongue on saying whether she'll learn post canon or in the fic, I can't wait to show you all how my plans play out. As for Tikki- I'd like to imagine many of her ladybugs died because they let their identities leak. She's a bit traumatized.

3. 'Panthera' as an identity is very much Juleka's way of masking! I'm glad you picked up on that. At first i wrote it as a funny instinct but as I kept going the idea of Juleka literally taking that identity to mask well, yeah! It got depressing in Prince Shining but now that Juleka is more in tune with herself- I hope to play more around with the running gag of her being 'Panthera' when she's supposed to be 'Juleka.'

4. I apologize that it was a little plot thread that never got as explored as I had originally intended to so many years ago but!! Rose's thoughts on Marinette and Juleka's relationship will eventually make a return!

HHHHHHHH IM VIBRATING EXCITEDLY THIS IS SUCH A CUTE IDEA, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

ok. so. It’s very hard to pick an ULTIMATE fave trope buuuuut a very strong contender for the title is time travel fics. More specifically, time LOOP fics. (What can I say, Doctor Who had some significant effects on my preteen brain chemistry.) I love a good time loop fic because it lets you hit a lot of my favourite things all in one: timey wimey nonsense, getting to Fix whatever canon bullshit you need to, having all these little character moments where you can explore different dynamics and do character studies - especially if people other than the looping character start to change/remember things as the loops go on??? MAN. I EAT THAT SHIT UP. Also the potential for calling back to previous events or repeating an event with a subtle twist to it each time, it’s suuuuuuch good shit. I also find stories about the importance of trying - even when it’s difficult, even when you don’t want to anymore, even when it may not actually change anything - really resonate with me. Which is major time loop vibes, yknow? I am a certified Time Loop Enjoyer™.

I know there’s a lot of good time loop fics out there in the ST fandom (especially steddie fandom), which, duh, Steve and Eddie and the events of season 4 are practically BUILT for a time loop. Because of that (and because the fic I really wanna rec for this trope is A Lot and Not For Everyone), I’m going to rec TWO time loop fics for you.

1: echo by CaptainHoney (~30k words, rated E)

Warning - READ THE GODDAMN TAGS. CHECK THE ARCHIVE WARNINGS. I AM NOT KIDDING. This fic starts out going full tilt balls-to-the-walls and it does not stop once. It’s emotionally intense (lots of angst), the events of the fic are intense, it’s a heavier take on time loops than a lot of other fics in this fandom, and you Will feel like you’ve been put through an emotional blender by the end. But there is a happy ending (I’m a sucker for happy endings, I can’t read anything more than ~5k without one), and like I mentioned above this is a story about Trying. Trying even when it’s hard, even when you don’t want to anymore, is such a powerful story theme for me and I really like the way it’s explored in echo. Plus, it’s a love story of course, and a damn fucking good one - both the love between Eddie & Steve, and the love their whole extended found family have for each other.

ALSO. I’m a feral creature for fun narrative choices and echo is told both non-linearly AND from multiple POVs (don’t let that scare you, it’s always really clear who and when we’re dealing with. You’ll see if you read the fic). It’s absolutely fucking delicious. I don’t see this fic talked about much (literally ever, actually) and I think that’s a SHAME. That being said, I do recognise this fic is Very intense and not for everyone, which is perfectly fine! Take care of yourselves, and don’t read something that you’re worried might put you in a bad spot mentally just because I’m hyping it up here. 💙

2: you are young and life is long (and there is time to kill today) by heartofwinterfell (~70k, rated M)

This is a fun one. This is technically a series, with the first fic being ~18k from Eddie’s POV as he goes through the loops, and the second is ~52k from Steve’s POV as he lives in the time loop without knowing it’s a time loop. Yeah. I really love that perspective, you don’t often see a time loop fic from the perspective of the other character, and it’s done really well here. PLUS the second chapter of Steve’s fic goes into time loop aftermath and recovery, which is one of my favourite things to explore that often doesn’t get addressed in great detail.

🩷 Pink: Do you find a certain character (or characters) easy to write? More difficult -- and if so, do you avoid writing that character (or those characters) when possible?

I have this whole thing where most of my POV characters, in fanfic, are similar to each other - ie. some flavour of "emotionally suffering repressed young man"... 😭😅😅 So I definitely don't go out of my away to avoid it, and it does come pretty naturally to me at this point. Sometimes I worry about "fandom brain" taking over, ie. my takes on the character/s becoming too out-of-character. I really don't like reading extremely out-of-character stuff, to me being in character to an acceptable extent (but tbh that varies for everyone) is usually important in fanfic because it's what people (at least me) are looking for to be emotionally fulfilled while reading yknow.

My writing process is also very instinctual (it's like that for academic writing too), I will just start writing and try to combine what I think the character would do and say with what I know about the source material and possible additional context. So yeah, sometimes I actually start worrying that this is having an influence on and giving some level of bias to my work... but oh well, people seem to like it and I always try to improve 😂😅

🤍 White: What's a fanfic scenario or idea you'd like someone else to write so that you can read it?

Omg there's literally so many... One I'm thinking of is an affaire/elisabeth AU where Rudolf and Taaffe are childhood friends instead of Taaffe and FJ and they have this whole complicated antagonistic yet also deeply personal (not an innuendo) relationship going on. Someone told me they were working on one and I'm waiting with great anticipation... (😂😂😂 this is a targeted vaguepost)

On another note - always a [redacted] for canon divergent (ish) genderbent wlw todolf 😭 it's so niche but if done well it can be really good. Ooh and I've been thinking about how fun it would be to have something that tries to unpack stuff from Rudolf's historical context while also being todolf fic akslpdpf, like this whole expectation of strength and military masculinity that he actually worked hard to fulfill (he was a military officer actively serving in a regiment for some years and was very loyal to his men - to some extent the way he was raised worked, but it also led to anxiety when he couldn't measure up, I remember Hamann detailing an incident where his horse ran amok while inspecting the ranks and it was very embarrassing for a young general like him) OR like i once said in a post, the deep disconnect between supernatural imaginary boyfriend and rudolf's belief in science over superstition akdkdk

Also, just straight up any kind of (canon era) todolf fanfic in general, I am starving,,, 😂

Smol, Ask Game - Yakuza I'm curious

So. Full disclosure. I've only played Kiwami and 0, and am like...most of the way through Kiwami 2? So any knowledge I have of the rest of the franchise is via Tumblr and reading Majima's Wiki page (that's how I got here) So do bear with me lol.

3 male characters I love: To the shock of no one, Goro Majima. RGG really just made The Best Fictional Character Ever and just use him less and less huh I KNOW a lot of the characterisation came LONG after the first 6 games but IT STILL STANDS. Also also, Akira Nishikiyama. I know I've been more stuck on him recently but he's shoved his way to the front of my brain, but I still love Majima. They are both my boyfriends <3. Now hmmm, who gets the third spot....I know he was around for MUCH less time than I thought he would be, but I'm gonna say Homare Nishitani. He's a fucked up horny freak, he's just ACTUALLY a mad bastard and he loves it and I love him for it. I genuinely wish we got to fight him more it also makes fic more difficult cause I'm like 'wait when can he show up how does Sunshine fit in WHAT IS THE TIMELI-'. He's great, even though that first fight was very fucking bitchy.

3 female characters I love: Bold of you to assume there's more than 3 characters for me to pick from. Nah but uhhhh, can we count Yuko Nishikiyama when all my love for her is basically based on my own personal headcanons and interpretations? Let's call her a bonus option. Obviously Makoto Makimura, like I don't think I need to explain that do I? I think I also have to go withhhh.... Hibiki-chan and Yuki-chan. The fucking LORE IMPLICATIONS of Goromi's dress being a custom-made pink-snakeskin version of Hibiki's outfit?? And she was probably one of the most in love with him, idk she's just very sweet I love her. And Yuki is so cringefail but she thinks she's girlboss, I love that. Honestly I love all the Sunshine girls, more importantly I love the 'spares', yknow, the Golds and Silvers and Bronzes but I've mentioned that before, I should give them their own post.

3 romantic ships I love: Good morning Majimako nation :) It's a ship that brings me nothing but pain in canon and I love them so much, so thank God for fic writers vbhjnbhjn. I say canon brings me pain but they're just so cute and they understand each other's pain in a way others can't and it's like...all Majima had to do was give her closure, yknow? There's such a tragedy to it but I love them all the same. Also shoutout to the 7 other Majinishiki shippers out there. Yes I just put my two favourite beautiful men together. But the more I think about it the more I'm like "oh but this could be SO GOOD" cause they're both assholes and would both dislike each other and reckon they're polar opposites, which they appear to be on the surface, but they're more similar than they think and the idea of them learning that and being like "oh wait a minute....oh hang on...". They could be fun and funny and beautiful and hot so yeah, I've gotten real into it lol. Now....you know, I could pick the obvious, but it's time to push another agenda: Majima x Dolly. Yep. As in Doll Girl's mum. Look her kid has already decided he's her new dad, why not make it official? I just think Dolly is super cute, she's one of my favourite girls, and idk man it's really cute even though 0 content exists gvbhnjbhjn

3 platonic dynamics I love: Yuki and Majima's sibling bond means the world to me. Two cringefail weirdgirls who take turns being weird. Like one does something weird/stupid and the other is like "bro what the fuck is wrong with you" but then they switch and it's a constant bickering back and forth but you can tell it comes from a place of affection, and at the end of the day they do have each other's backs. Speaking of siblings, Nishiki and Kiryu. Yeah took my time bringing up the fuckin' protagonist didn't I? For all my Complicated Feelings towards Kiryu, his brotherly connection to Nishiki is clearer in 0 than it is in Kiwami, but when it's there it's there, man. These boys have each other's backs, they're the closest family they have, and seeing it fractured so tragically is heartbreaking. I wish they had more Heat Actions but the one they do have is delightful. OH, sorry, I had to take a minute irl to think of another platonic dynamic and I remembered: Kiryu and Rina. Yeah, the lesbian hostess from Kiwami who got the job to look at cute girls! The one who told Kiryu he can be wooed by men if he wants and he told her to not judge girls on such a binary femme/butch scale (well, 'cute/not cute'). I loved going to chat with her, they're really sweet and fun. Genuinely quite heartfelt conversations and I'm surprised how like...idk, progressive their chats are? It's sweet.

3 favorite moments in canon: This is actually very tricky to me, I've never really thought about ranking moments. Like, the games are a matter of 'vibing vibing vibing do some substories that give us some fun Kiryu characterisation do some plot I don't understand or particularly care for HOLY SHIT SUDDENLY IT'S REALLY GOOD AND THERE'S SOME GOOD CHARACTER/REALLY FUCKING COOL ACTION SCENES vibing vibing vibing' In no particular order:

The bit where Nishiki fuckin shanks Matsushige. I KNOW his psyche is shattering before our very eyes, I KNOW it's him well and truly crossing the line but like....Goddamn. I cannot have stated multiple times I find it to be his pinnacle of beauty and NOT include it, surely.

The entire Goromi interaction. What starts as a joke quickly just becomes a very heartfelt, honest chat between the two characters, and gives us a very welcome insight into Majima and what she's like when she's not wearing the Mad Dog mask. The cowards should give us a Goromi dating game.

Oh it's GOTTA be Majima's introduction, right? I feel like I can't be a Majima or Yakuza fan and not mention his intro in 0. Just the shot of those iconic shoes, seeing how he handles the whole customer conflict and faces it with such humility and grace and showmanship ALL WHILST HATING IT???? BUT MAINTAINING THAT COMPOSURE AND HAVING FUN FUCKING WITH HIM WHERE HE CAN???? Holy hell. Does the bit where he learns Essence of Blade Biting count tho because that's a favourite for a DIFFERENT reas-. (But also his intro in Kiwami was my actual introduction to him and I fell in love with him then so *shrugs*)

3 favorite headcanons: How to narrow it down to just 3? Hmmm. Actually now I think about it suddenly Every Headcanon I've Heard Has Vanished gvbhnjmbhjn. I'm not very good at making my own or ranking them so uhhhhh. Okay okay:

Trans man Kiryu is canon in my head. Idk man it just feels right.

OH I REMEMBER!! So I don't give a FUCK what canon says, too many people tower over Kiryu for him to be 6 foot. So my actual height headcanons are that Nishiki is 5' 8" (good height) and Kiryu is 5' 10", whereas Majima gets to remain his full 6' 1" glory, however, he slouches a fair amount so people sometimes people forget how fucking tall he is, so when he straightens to his full height people are like oh FUCK. These heights also mean that Nishiki, Who Is Not Short, looks quite small compared to the two men lmao

Sure he's willing to hide in empty trashcans, giant traffic cones and potholes to get the jump on his Kiryu-chan, but Majima actually can't stand being dirty. (1 year of constant torture probably does that to you) He has about 10 different products in his bathroom, a very thorough and regular hair-and-skincare routine. Probably has a floral or citrussy undertone hiding under the smell of smoke, sweat and blood he usually has.

3 least favorite things about it: *sighs*. Okay: 1. Its treatment of female characters. See Exhibit A) Yuko. As we introduce more female characters I fear it'll only get worse. And the thing is, I quite like the women we get!! They just Keep Being The Same!!! Like can I have something beyond Hostess/Bar Employee Who Is Nice To Kiryu and preferably DOESN'T die with little fanfare or just get written out? Makoto probably got out of this the best but even then, not really imo?? She still had her agency taken from her in that last choice. Idk man that's the crux of it ain't it, these women having little agency beyond how to serve the men in the story.

2. I Do Not Care For These Main Plots. By that I mean I am FAR less interested in these bits of political intrigue/conspiracy and plot twists about who works for who because I simply forget who half of these cunts are and I don't actually care. I care about the relationships between the characters, which granted is a more personal taste, but it always feels like....they have something there, and they kinda know it? But not enough to give it the rich and in-depth exploration it deserves because it'd rather throw a twist my way that someone's actually Korean or something about Jingu. (NO SERIOUSLY WHO THE FUCK IS JINGU WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN KIWAMI?!?!?) It leads to Substory Kiryu and Main Story Kiryu being two different men in my head, and I much prefer one over the other

3. Kinda related to the treatment of female characters but like. The softcores. The telephone club minigame. The catfight club. MesuKing. Please stop. They're not sexy, they're not fun, they're just really uncomfortable. It doesn't help that the girl in the background for telephone club game is the fucking same but with a different bikini colour like would it KILL yall to get some body diversity?? Actually if you did that the joke would be she's fat and ugly hahahahaha so funny I loooove this I'm Having Fun Playing the game alongside bae and/or bestie honestly makes it more uncomfy, but watching softcores on my own for the sake of a substory somehow feels sadder. We started fuckin' reviewing them lmaooooo like "Okay THAT'S a pretty tasteful and sexy pose, I'll use that for ref. And now I don't know what she's doing. Please stop looking at me like that" etc etc. Basically anytime the game tries to offer me a 'sexy surprise' or a minigame with tits in it I'm just very uncomfortable. I visited that catfight club ONCE for the uh. Wait which Billionaire was it? GAMBLING KING!! Yeah him and then I never went back because why the hell would I, this is MesuKing But Even Worse. So yeah. Please stop. (I feel like they won't)

That was very long and rambly and probably more in-depth than ya wanted/expected, I'm sure others just write their faves and leave it at that lol. Despite my little experience with the franchise overall and my many issues and criticisms, I do actually quite like this franchise so far. By that I mean my brain has decided to adore Two Characters so I have a feeling I know what games will be my faves overall lol.

HOWEVER I'm actually really looking forward to playing 3 because it's got Mine in it and I've heard it's good, 4 gives us my boy Saejima who I'm excited to learn more about (and Akiyama?? I think?? Idk I'm pretty sure he sings Baka Mitai in 5 aka The Best Version of The Song). 5 introduces us to a Ms Mirei Park and BEFORE YOU ALL START: I'm reeeeally looking forward to making my own judgement because she's SO divisive as a character I cannot help but be fascinated. Ooh same with Yasuko in 4. I think I'm gonna like her, but I might not. Who knows?

And of course from the Entire Hour we played of 7 I already love Ichiban and I think he's gonna be my best friend ever, what a cutie. I'll even sit through turn-based combat for his sake (I KNOW SOME OF YALL LIKE IT AND I'M HAPPY FOR YOU I'VE JUST NEVER BEEN INTO JRPGS THE CLOSEST I'VE GOTTEN WAS POKEMON MOON WHICH I NEVER FINSIHED BUT THAT'S A STORY FOR ANOTHER TIME)

I have a few things that I consider my "favourite" things ive written. Like theres fics that have a special place in my heart for reasons and theres some that I just think are fucking well written in a great way in a writing style that is just me, and thats pretty fucking great like not to brag or anything but all my years of writing I think right this moment is the best ive ever written. I love the art that im sending and showing to yall guys!

NGL theres a lot cuz im getting better at like, being proud of myself nowadays

We made our peace with weariness and let it be. I wrote this on a train going to see Bonnie and Clyde in the theatre. I like how I write kenny here- how I focus on the more unsure, shy almost unwilling participant in everything his body and brain says.

An open hand [for your other man] Again a fic that means a lot to me personally for just how its written. Again I focused on more on the fact that Kenny Omega will do anything for the people that he loves, even if that comes at the expense of said people he loves and himself.

I'll tell you my sins and [you can sharpen your knife] The first of what I think is three fics starring my OC Jay. The most recent fic ive written. It focuses a lot on Jay and Cole relatioonship and the terrifying idea of being known and Cole learning to forgive himself fopr his sins back in NXT. Both Jay and Cole learn that betrayal doesnt always mean the end of everything.

The ghost story would be over Another Jay fic that focuses more on his friendship/brotherhood with the BCC and eventually how she joins the Elite. I dont know why this means a special place in my heart and I swear I know where this fic is going despite my utter lack of updates with it

I find myself alone at night [Unless I'm having sex] Yknow how I constantly talk about Kenny being too scared to love and therefore having to constantly leave Hangman and Hangman constantly expecting to wake up alone. Yeah, thats this entire fic and I know it was meant to be like, a happy fluffy fic but its one of personally, the saddest fics Ive written because at least while writing it, you feel hangmans utter sense of lost and longing consume him by the end.

To you I'm just a man [to me you're all I am] My first ever aew fic. Written when I couldnt tell the Bucks apart and i was producing content daily. It means a lot to me because i think that ive gotten better as a writer but theres some scenes that I think are ngl movie quality; like the flashback would be all sad and hazy and I think the fic feels the same as listening to piano man by billy joell

Would you love me more [If I killed someone for you?] Adam Cole gets murdered the fic. I think this is the fic that has the most fanart potential of mine. Like theres some great imagery that would like, explode so much fanart or other content.

Getting you off is my new favourite hobby The last of the Jay fics on this list, and my first time writing smut. Theres something about this fic that feels so deeply emotional and soft despite being about sex in hangers kitchen. I think its the underlying acceptance adam shows to jay and the utter love that he has for zem before and during and after sex.

Blood is as rare and as sweet as cherry wine 4 thousand words of hangman being so deeply in love with kenny omega it hurts him. Kenny is deep in his cleaner persona [or in my world, cleaner is fronting and kenny is trapped, watching him ruin everyone kenny loves] and this fic, reading it again makes me wanna throw kenny omega into a wall and just let hangman beat the fuck outta him and then fu- *gets shot by TK*

3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?

i could literally make a bingo sheet for my own fics if i didn't think that would be an embarrassingly self-absorbed act so i shall provide a list that you might potentially make some sort of drinking game from:

steve and robin do some little weirdo thing to demonstrate that they are freakishly close, robin talks about a foreign film that i like, someone dies and people have to process it, steve cries, reference to steve winning prom king, steve cries, steve cries more, somebody else cries, genuinely i cannot write a fic or even a single chapter of a multichapter fic without making somebody cry it's a problem, please help me.

8. What song would make a great fic (to either write or read)?

oh i've always wanted to write an st fic inspired by "i know the end" by phoebe bridgers! i love the blend of intensely personal emotional turmoil and like the sense of smallness in the universe like you're insignificant but simultaneously feeling like you're maybe the only one in the universe. the surreal pseudo-science fiction vibe. the classic americana. when the sirens sound you'll hide under the floor but i'm not gonna go down with my hometown in a tornado i'm gonna chase it i know i know i know......... either way we're not alone i'll find a new place to be from a haunted house with a picket fence to float around and ghost my friends no i'm not afraid to disappear the billboard said the end is near i turned around there was nothing there yeah i guess the end is here.....

i'd really love to write something kinda surreal and trippy with the st universe i love the idea of hawkins becoming a bit like night vale and bending reality and playing with the idea of converging universes. so i may try to write something like that someday idk i have so many fics in progress already lmao

15. What’s your favorite AU that you’ve written?

ok so this fic is still in progress but my favorite au's gotta be young strangers. so far it's barely an au i must admit it's Technically all canon compliant and actually my original plan had been for it to be completely canon compliant!! but then s4 came out and the way max and eddie's plots went it became. unfathomable for me to stick to canon.

for those who haven't read young strangers the concept is that steve had an older brother who died prior to the start of the show, and originally i was just going to explore how that impacted his interiority yknow? i was going to focus on him processing and healing from his grief through his relationships with the kids and robin. but then s4 happened. and like max being suicidal and dying/becoming comatose because of the complicated feelings she has about billy's death + having eddie die right there in dustin's arms just seemed far too dark and it was impossible for me to reconcile those things with my goal in this fic. so! in the last half of the fic we're gonna be veering way off-course and i'm really excited for when this semester's over and i have some time to finish it up!!

Yknow honestly i think it was just a natural extension of like. I loved reading as a kid and did it voraciously, and it sparked this great love for storytelling in me. I didnt start right out the gate with writing creatively-- i did the same "here's my story of when i went to six flags" in grade school as a ton of other people. But i was always exposed to books and stories when i was a kid, and they gave me a lot of comfort, so i think learning how to tell them was just a natural cause and effect of that!!

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

In almost every fic i write there is, at some unspecified point, a conversation between two characters that is simple in dialogue but deeply, deeply heavy with the weight and complexity of their unspoken but acknowledged feelings toward whatever is going on between them. I have literally no idea when i started doing this but its become enough of a staple in my style that my friends will comment on it whenever they see it. "Oh yeah thats a TJ scene for sure" <- every single fucking time without fail

From my latest scarian wip, currently titled love this narrative, the horrors:

There's a beat of silence. Then Grian says, "Oh," in a strange, almost clinically curious tone. "That's, ah. Wasn't quite expecting that, but… you can– do you want to talk about it?"

He does. Scar keeps his eyes locked on his reflection, the words dragging out of him like poison from a wound. “We were in a pond,” he says softly. “We– I think we were fighting? I-I don’t know, it was… it’s a bit fuzzy, now.” He’s lying. It’s as stark and clear as the stars twinkling in the overturned sky above them. Scar drags his tongue across the back of his teeth and flinches at the taste of copper. “But we, uh. We fought, I guess. I don’t remember why– seems kinda silly, right? You and me, fighting like that? We don’t– we wouldn’t–”

He breaks off with an anxious swallow, and risks a glance up. Grian is staring at him with an unreadable expression, and it makes Scar’s heart jolt with unease. He looks back down, fingers tightening around the circumference of his loaned mug.

“I guess it was–” Scar breaks off. There’s no kind way to say this part; it falls from between his gritted teeth like lead. Like grains of abrading sand. “I told you to kill me. That you could take a– an enchanter? That you could take an enchanter, and… kill me.”

I LOVE KITA SO MUCH 😭 i hope we get to see y/n interact with kita soon. and the smut scene between suna and iris before the wedding is so hot 💔 it breaks my heart bcs its not y/n but still you make them look hot.

but iris is not a royalty.. right? i mean princess maiko said that she is just someone who grew up in the castle but she isnt a royalty. hmmm

i like y/n and oikawa's interaction in chapter 5!! makes me happy that she is enjoying her hunt with him!! and the last scene 💀💀💀 its too early for iris to be dead lmao y/n is just playing 😍 so true queen

and i cant wait to see what will suna say to her odudmahsiska and i hope y/n just strikes some mean words back at him or something bcs the chat on his phone with iris is disgusting 😭 poor y/n

BUT i remember he said that he would absolutely would fall for y/n if iris wasnt in the picture.... and the fact that he doesnt mind about spending his life with y/n gives me hope... BUT y/n's happiness are much more important!

and aww thank you so much, i’m happy to hear you enjoy dtd and love the YN! tbh, when i first pictured how dtd would go, i always imagined her as someone who was loving and kind but eventually had to turn insensitive and maybe even cruel but like there will be moments where you can tell that she’s still a good person yknow?

oh iris didn’t say that suna wanted to get her pregnant 👀 she’s married to kiyoomi, and to make it seem like they had a happy marriage, she was lying about how she and kiyoomi are “trying” and they want to have a kid so bad but also she was provoking YN 😭

also WHOA i made iris and suna look hot??? that’s a compliment thank you! and YEAH i can’t wait for kita and yn interactions too, they’re gonna be my favorite non biological siblings duo here <33 and yeah, princess iris is not royalty nor did she come from a noble family. she’s an itachiyama citizen by birth but became a refugee in inarizaki when she was a little girl, so she grew up more with inarizaki’s culture and customs. her background will remain a mystery for now, but it’s safe to assume iris is the most odd one out of everyone in the royal family.

I LOVE OIKAWA AND YN INTERACTIONS. oikawa finds entertainment in people’s misery and somehow makes any situation enjoyable for him, with the exception of his marriage because he’s always in a sour mood around maiko. and i agree, sending a dick pic to iris was horrible like it even made me feel soooo uncomfortable and disgusted 💀

and yes, yes! suna does like the idea of spending a lifetime with us. he genuinely enjoys our company and like us as a person, and if only he hadn’t met iris first, he would’ve fallen head over heels for us. suna can be saying some mean things but we’re actually his type 😌
