June liked late shifts at The Savoy. Her stupid supervisor was out of her hair, the security was lax, and there was no one else higher than the duty manager on the shift, who was just as chill as the Exec Lounge fridge he liked to chill at. Besides, there was rarely ever a need to rush through rooms, cleaning them to the highest standard at the lowest possible salary, and all she had to do was prepare the beds for the night (since guests at the hotel had no idea how to untuck the bedsheets), bring some occasional toiletries up, and get tipped for absolutely nothing. She could still finish up her shift before midnight, and she could have the rest of the night to herself and whatever certain people required. What was there not to like about late shifts?

Having just finished up one of the requests, June was walking down the hall to the staff-only area, ready to pop by the canteen for her usual tea and maybe a cigarette afterward, when someone bolted out of the room, making her jump. “Jesus-” she had to swallow her need to finish up her sentence with the usual barrage of swearwords. It didn’t suit the hotel, she didn’t need another complaint, and she certainly needed her tips. “-you alright? Do you need anything?” She rattled off, not really bothering to look at the guest’s face because why would she? They were merely visitors in her playground, faceless jerks with more money than she could ever even picture.

☆ﾟ*·ﾟDOUBLE CHECKING HER camera bag, ensuring she had enough extra batteries, a couple SD cards, multiple lenses, and a small collapsible bounce board, she zipped it up. Going over her list again, she slipped her feet into her shoes. Airi bolted out of her house and down the street, practically diving into her car. She wanted to be sure she was early enough that she had time to scope out the location. Zadie was gorgeous, and one of her favorite people, whether or not she believed it. After speaking with her friend, Airi knew the photoshoot needed to be calm, chill, and relaxing. She was trying her best to help assure her that she could help with her reputation, as well as simply just have fun.

Airi pulled out her camera, put a battery and an SD card in, before testing out all of her lenses, trying to see which would work best with her favorite spots of the area as well as the lighting. When she saw Zadie, she grinned brightly! "Hi babes, you're adorable as always. Let's just have fun today, okay? Don't stress about it. I just want to capture you."
