Can we identify actors to their cgi faces?:

An experiment

So I rewatched avatar twow with my friend.

And during, she said,

“Damn. I would have never guessed that Kate winslet plays Ronal. The CGI makes thre na’vi characters look so different from the actual actors.”

And as much as there is SOME truth in that statement, the CGI in the movie is extravagant.

But, I had to disagree.

Because I think that the na’vi and their faces do look like the actors.

So we argued for a bit, and ran an experiment.

Featuring my partner, I sent him pictures of avatar characters, and created a matching game where he has to match up the characters to their actual actors based on facial features.

But there's a twist,

My partner has never seem avatar 1 or 2.
