Irma Grese is mentioned in the most of sources as the overseer of the death camps Ravensbrück and Auschwitz, who received the nickname "hyena" for her distinguished cruelty. So I've been obsessed with Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes as of lately, and it hit me to try and draft out a concept for a Warriors-like game based on my gag story Justice! Excellence! Defense! Intelligence! (J.E.D.I.).

Also, I can't get the amazing OST outta my head.

It would be the same gameplay as both FE Warriors games (with the social aspect of Three Hopes). There would be differences in the weapons used, since there would be blasters and sniper rifles instead of axes, lances, bows, etc. (swords are still gonna be there, since nearly half the cast is armed with lightsabers). Faith and Reason Magic will still be there, but done slightly differently.

The "sword" (read: lightsaber) characters will all have "Magic" combat arts. If they are part of the J.E.D.I. Academy, they have access to Heal, Physic, Silence, Nosferatu, (mainly Faith abilities), and some Reason abilities such as Fire, Blizzard, Wind, and Sagittae abilities. Thunder and Miasma abilities are limited to the Sinister, Ignominious, Treacherous Haters (S.I.T.H.).

As an example, Anatole (a sword character) learns Fire, Bolganone, Ragnarok, Sagittae, Meteor, and Agnea's Arrow as his combat arts, while Obadiah (also a sword character) learns Blizzard and Fimbulvetr. Both can learn Heal, Physic, Nosferatu, and Aura.

Of course, characters will also have personal skills. Alexis, for example, will have an ability similar to Shez's ZR Button/Petra's B Button dodge/Byleth's "Divine Pulse".

Characters can fly in fighter planes and ride speeders, but will be weak to rifle snipers, much like Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders can be shot down by archers.

Characters will have support levels/conversations (C-B-A only), and some characters might gets special dialogue with A ranks for activities like chores and dining, and Warrior Specials. Some I have in mind are Obadiah & Anatole, Alexis & Barrie, Alexis & Rina, Anatole & Patrice, Lu & Barrie, Alexis & Patrice, Yo Fu & Mace, Preston & Alexis, Anatole & Alexis, Obadiah & Bail, Bail & Patrice, Patrice & Rina, Alexis & Alycia, Anya & The Tyrannical Tyrant, Regis & Colby, etc.

Of course, some characters will be NPCs such as Sidney. I mean, she could be playable, but...spoiler-related reasons prevent her from being playable.

You should tap and release fast enough so the gun does not actually fire. You can jump over 2 stories high this way if you time it right. They won't notice you around them, but if you throw a grenade at them or otherwise threaten them, they'll un-freeze. Grab a rocket launcher or molotov and you can take over territory really easy. Also, this would give you a chance to get the health and armor pickups in the area without being shot at. First obtain a tractor then lower the lift and back up directly into a semi to tow it. Now start driving and swerve a bit from left to right this for some odd reason will launch your tractor and the semi at ludicrous speeds. First find a car that you are willing to give up and can be modded by transfender. Take it to transfender go to the modding screen the press triangle to escape. Then before you do anything get out of the car and leave it there. There will be no traffic but if you get into a car traffic will come back, so to make it so you can get into a car you will need to kill yourself. Then you can get in and out of cars and there will be no traffic. To turn traffic back on simply take your car to transfender goto the modding screen escape the drive your car out. Go into the camera's 1st person view by holding R1, then press O. You will hear the trailer un-hitch. You need to be near the truck, and in an area open enough for the trailer to move away from the truck without hitting, or getting caught in a wall or other object. It's a lot easier than losing the truck trying to jack knife the trailer off. Now fly along the ledge near water level. There is a glitchy rock wall that you can pass through in one point. The wall twitches and shakes. When you get in, you may have to fly north a little before it lets you get under fully. Gate 2: It's in a corner wall of your safehouse in Vinewood, right by the pool. Just walk into the wall at different spots until you find it. Now if you have a SMG, then waste the ammo for it. Pick a different weapon, like a shotgun or rifle. When the second person gets in the vehicle, input the weapon code that would give you the weapon you have selected. If done correctly, then the second player should be able to shoot whatever weapon was selected. When you see the plane appear on the runway put in the "destroy all vehicles" cheat. You will die, and be sent to the nearest hospital, but the screen will stay wide screen. Ya know black bars at the top, and bottom of the screen. Note:The only way to get out of the wide screen mode is to book another flight, and either jump out of the plane, continue to the other airport, or do a mission. Also you will not be able to see the map, health, or armor bars, weapon, money, wanted lvl. Chiliad and hop on the bike they place up there. Depending on the time, a race might start. If it doesn't just wait around up there until it does. When the race down the mountain begins, look to your left and there should be a flagpole with a ramp next to it. Forget the race and go off the ramp doing flips and spins. You will get teleported back on the mountain but with an insane stunt bonus of a couple hundred dollars! Repeat this process until the race ends. Then wait around for the next race to begin! If you fire while doing this you can easily rack up points without ever dying. I used the one across from the Paint n Spray in Los Santos. Go into the room with two doors. When you land in the water, the unique jump slow-motion cinema should keep going, with the camera fixed in one spot. Drive way out into the reservoir, and towards the dam, to the left of the camera's view. You'll disappear from view, but keep going. Eventually you'll run into the side of the dam and the cinema will end, leaving you under water and able to steer the Vortex like a submarine, without draining lung capacity or anything, as if you weren't underwater at all. Then stop before hitting the final marker and get off. Next get out a sniper rifle and snipe all of the competitors. After each snipe you'll notice your position is going up. If you snipe them all you will be in first place. If you still cant get the codes to work swap the control method to classic and input them. Slagg’s Drift, Week 1, Red Hand vs Serpent Syndicate

More skirmishes in our fair Underhive, my friends. The Red Hand took a crack at the Serpent Syndicate for control of Deacon’s Hold, and judging by the number of baldheads carried out on their backs, the Chaos lads came out on top. Seems all it took to ruin those snakes was leadership, a long rifle, and a (red) handful of screaming cultists! Say what you want about them (“they’ll be the death of us all!”) the Red Hand aren’t lacking in fighting spirit!

Here’s a little mystery. While trawling comms traffic, something caught my eyes: A message from an old terminal down by Sump Bay. I opened it up, hoping for some juicy, but what did I find? Gibberish.

Junk code? Servitor malfunction? Some juve’s prank? Maybe.

Hello again! Welcome back to Darth’s Book Club, the show where I more or less gush about the media I love for the duration of an entire Tumblr post (books and/or clubs optional)

RWBY Volume 1, Episode 8: “Players and Pieces”

This is the episode in which RWBY finally comes together.

I’m not talking about the team now known as RWBY, though that does indeed happen at the end. No, I’m referring to the show as a whole; despite what my positive reviews (always, in this show, I don’t deal in negativity if I can help it) for RWBY’s first seven episodes might make you think, I’m fully aware of this show’s myriad problems. Some of them are technical, a product of its time and scope; some of them are narrative, from relatively untested writers (not that I’m anyone to judge) that give these first steps a somewhat wobbly, disjointed feel; and some of them are simply inherent to its nature as a web show, like its irregular episode lengths and rather conspicuous references that non-Rooster Teeth fans will scratch their heads at.

RWBY is janky to start with, is what I’m saying. Even more so, nowadays.

This episode is far from exempt from those early jitters, of course, but it’s in the way that every element is combined that “Players and Pieces” goes above and beyond its limitations to match what I’ve come to expect from the media I consume today. The pieces were always there, but this episode finally puts the puzzle together.

I can’t help but imagine RWBY’s creators pitching the show with this exact episode in mind - I’m sure they’ve talked about it in some podcast or interview I probably even listened to years ago, but indulge my imagination for a bit:

“We open to the ruins of some long-forgotten civilization, overgrown with moss amidst a massive emerald forest. A small group of colorful teenagers has made their way there, after traversing the perilous woods - they’re there to retrieve a relic of some kind in an effort to prove their prowess in combat. One by one, they arrive, in increasingly concerning ways - riding a monstrous, dying bear, tossed into scene by some unseen creature, falling from the sky.

And then the giant scorpion busts in.”

Episode 8 really is a microcosm of everything that makes RWBY, well, RWBY; the beautiful locales, the outrageous weapons, the dizzyingly creative fight scenes, the horrific monsters - huge fan of the Deathstalker, by the way, excellent Legend of Zelda vibes - the irreverent humor, the earnest, heartfelt moments, and of course...the bitchin’ soundtrack. Even after so many years, Red Like Roses, part II is still one of my favorite tracks of all time, and certainly my favorite track in RWBY (pending all the music I’ve missed since I stopped watching circa Volume 4, of course).

There’s a lot of little details I could dive into, in this episode - and perhaps I’ll talk about them as they come into play in later on in the show. But, and I know this is different from what I’ve gotten you somewhat used to, I’m not going to, not this time. And it’s because I do genuinely think that this is an episode that must be watched to be truly appreciated - and one I couldn’t do justice in a single Tumblr post, premise of Darth’s Book Club and all. I imagine that most of the people who read these posts have already watched RWBY, but if by chance you haven’t, follow this advice (courtesy of my friend @zr-stein, thanks to whom this show exists in the first place):

I’ve been looking forward to My Friend Pedro since I demoed it last year at PAX West. It’s not often you see a concept so wacky nor a control scheme so ambitious. In many ways, this is the closest we’ll probably get to a true Deadpool videogame, and that’s something developer Deadtoast seems to be very aware of. They play with reality as you progress, as well as poke fun at gamers and the industry at large. The simple question then is this: was My Friend Pedro worth the wait? Or was this banana not quite ripe yet?
