note: not proofread! I seriously don't know why I'm posting this. I'm honestly not satisfied with it but at the same time I feel like there's nothing more I can improve cause that's how much I suck. Plus I have no friends to go through my writing T_T

You and Hinata were talking while making your way towards the gym that morning when you crossed paths with Nishinoya and Tanaka. The former's steps came to a halt, freezing in front of you. "Noya-san–" Hinata's words were cut off when the second year dropped to his knees in front of you.

"Please marry me!"

Your eyes widened at the sudden confession, blood rushing up to your cheeks. "N-Noya-san.! I did use that line on Kiyoko-san and I'm sure that's not how confession works." Said the shaved head guy as he pulled up his friend from his kneeling position.

From that day onwards, he was seen talking to you and flirting with you quite often. He never hesitated to tell you how pretty and cute you looked whenever both of you crossed paths.

On the other hand, you tried to maintain your distance with him as much as possible. You loved each and every compliment he threw at you and that was the problem. Because you also knew that the exact same compliments were thrown at the volleyball team's manager; Kiyoko Shimizu.

So you weren't someone special to Nishinoya. You and Kiyoko were put on the same level in his head and you didn't like it.

But you were still curious about the libero, so you learned two three things about him from Hinata.

Nishinoya always got failing grades, sometimes even got into fights with his schoolmates. And you were quite surprised after getting that information.

Nishinoya? Getting into fights?

Sure, he looked like a delinquent with his spiked hair and a few strands of his hair dyed dirty blonde. But he had this absolutely pure and energetic energy, like a 10 year old's, so it was hard for you to imagine him throwing his fists at another person.

As much as you couldn't believe it, you knew it was the truth the moment you saw him all alone in his class during lunch, wincing as he lightly tapped on the cut at the corner of his lips.

"Noya-senpai?" You called out softly, standing at the classroom's opened door. "Y/N? I–" He turned his face away as if he was ashamed to face you. "You got into a fight?" He nodded his head, gaze fixed down on his sneakers as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his school pants, slumped over his chair.

"Please wait here for a moment." You said before quickly making your way towards your class which was at the end of the hallway. You fished out the small pouch bag from your backpack, which was filled with bandaids, ointments and some painkillers, before making your way back to Nishinoya's classroom.

"Excuse me while I sit here." You said as you pulled out a chair and sat beside him, zipping open your pouch bag. "What's this for..?" He questioned, curious eyes watching as you squeezed out the ointment onto your fingertip. "To treat your bruises and cuts."

Silence enveloped the both of you as you treated him while he silently observed your face from up close. Though his wounds stung, he was feeling as if he was in heaven. Honestly, who wouldn't feel like it when someone like you were sitting so close to them and treating their wounds?

Nishinoya was damn lucky.

"Done." You gave him a small smile, tucking back the things into your pouch bag. "Please don't get into unnecessary fights anymore." You said with that gentle voice of yours as you pulled out the cream bun you had kept in your blazer's pocket. "Here. Eat this and study well." You flashed him a smile, placing the bun on his desk before walking out of the class. "She's an angel." Nishinoya mumbled as he stared at the cream bun with his lips parted and cheeks dusted pink.

After that day, some things definitely changed.

His compliments and daily "I love you's" that he threw at Kiyoko reduced little by little until there were no more. Instead, those words were now reserved for you and only you.

His change surprised his teammates. He didn't get into fights anymore, he didn't flirt with Kiyoko or anyone other than you anymore and the one thing that surprised them the most was Nishinoya was studying.

His grades didn't drastically change of course, but it was getting better. From failing mostly every subject with an one digit mark to getting pass marks for at least half of them.

You were changing him for better and his teammates were more than happy for it.

"Wait, I almost forgot!" You watched as Nishinoya sat up straight on your bed, rummaging through his school bag.

Both of you always spent the weekends evenings in your room, studying and doing your homeworks. Nishinoya had first asked you to tutor him, completely forgetting that you were in your first year and that the topics he was studying were all very new to you.

But upon seeing his expression dropping when you told him the reason you couldn't tutor him, you offered to study together and he gladly took your offer. But some days, he can get really distracted and would trick you into joining him to play games or practice his receiving in volleyball.

"Look! I got 55% on this test!" You smiled, leaving your study desk and joining him on your bed. "I'm proud of you, Noya-senpai!" Taking the test paper from his hands, you looked through the questions. "Y/N." You hummed, eyes glued to the paper.

"I love you." Your eyes widened.

This wasn't his normal daily confession. This was a genuine 'I love you', his eyes hopeful as he waited for you to say those three words back.

"I love you so much, Y/N. So please let me be your boyfriend." You couldn't help but let out a genuine laugh before throwing your arms around him. "I love you too." No words in this universe could describe how happy he was to hear those three words from you.

This wasn't like his love towards Kiyoko. It was something more deep and he knew it the moment you treated his wounds, looking at him with the same loving eyes even though he was disgustingly beaten up. You didn't ignore him that day like most girls would do, instead you provided warmth with your care.

On that exact day he knew you were the one for him and oh is this boy so whipped for you.

There's nothing more that I like than to be wrapped up in his arms all cuddled up under the blankets having my head on his chest, his heart beat my lullaby as I get comfortable and drift off to sleep, our breathing becoming in sync with one another, becoming relaxed as the storm outside brews.
