four things i want the show to do/ improve on in the next seasons

1. use more dialog right from the book

it’s okay that sometimes what is written on the page is good enough to be brought directly to screen 🫶 it doesn’t make you worse writers for trying too hard and changing it.

2. let’s keep up some sense of urgency ❤️

sense of urgency is so important and the pace of the show being consistent for the first four episodes then randomly speeding up for a couple minutes then back down again for the following two was incredibly random. i think episodes 1,2,7,&8 are really what y’all should be modeling the pacing on.

3. let’s go ahead and let them be kids every once in awhile 😝

it’s okay to let 13 year olds actually have funny and silly moments. it only builds onto their friendships and dynamic and the show. it doesn’t take away from anything.

4. do not explain to the viewers every single place, monster or situation

every single viewer may not know the lore, but killing the suspense of every single scene by explaining what is going on is terrible writing. in the book they often realize too late who they are fighting, they are not dumb, they are just in fast paced and stressful situations. come on now. 😪

ok don’t get me wrong I think the show is absolutely AMAZING and the cast is perfect and everything else but I keep seeing people saying that the show is doing percabeth better than the books did and imma have to respectfully disagree because I think one of the main things that makes percabeth so AHHH 🤩😭 in the books is how it’s just SO slow burn (in an obviously inevitable way) and just how sassy and teenagery they are with each other and with the show I feel like we’re getting third book level percabeth borderline MOA percabeth WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING but I feel like the show has been so emotionally heavy already and I personally prefer how in the books they take everything way too lightly and joke every two seconds and annoy each other and slowly they come to the realization that not only would they die for each other they would also kill for each other etc. but also I haven’t read the lightning thief in a while so maybe I’m remembering wrong but anyways that’s the rant sorry about the longest sentence ever

I wonder what the various opinions of SpiderPunk are in Hobie's universe? Like obviously the government is not a fan, but what about the smaller groups? He mentioned having a laugh at the pub, so he must be well liked, but at which kind of pubs? Idk what I was getting at here. I guess what I'm wondering is if all of his world's punks like him since punk can be such a broad spectrum.

2. I think if Gwen Stacy's universe found out she was spiderwoman it would be disastrous, and, frankly, I want to see it happen.
