One of my favorite photos from last years faire season.
Running a booth, performing, and trying to snag cool shots in between can occasionally lead to chaotic moments like chasing the sun in armor, but with the right people and a bit of luck it can also produce pure magic. :)
A huge thank you to Liv F.H. for capturing this moment of @unicorn-shieldmaiden and I as the sun set on faire last summer.
I hope all my WA friends have been enjoying the gorgeous sun we've been getting recently, before we get plunged back into the cold. brrr

A huge thank you to all who came out to Ignitions Slutty Prom Fundraiser this past weekend. '
The whole evening was a blur of fire, friends, and fantastical fashion, dancing our way to dawn and I couldn't feel more fortunate for the experience.

About to start on some test pieces! Expecting some trial and error to figure out what specific materials will cooperate the best, since the original was 3d printed rather than hammered into submission.

Alrighty, this might be a long shot, but I'm hoping the Willow (2022) fandom can help me out!
I dabble in armorsmithing and I'm currently elbow deep in the concept/patterning stages of a functional (leather, plate, chain and scalemaille) reproduction of the Kymerian Cuirass, but having some trouble getting my grubby hands on enough good-quality reference photos (THANK YOU DISNEY...). If anyone has any detail shots of the Cuirass, I would appreciate anything I can get in terms of references!
Aside from the changes I have needed to make to get it to actually function, like adding straps and more rivets and such, I'd like to keep the design as faithful to the original as possible, because the show means so much to so many of us.
In addition, if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them! I'm not a cosplayer by trade, and this is my first foray into reproducing an existing character rather than designing my own kit.
Attached below is an example of the sort of work I usually do. If anyone is willing to help me out, please feel free shoot me a message!
