Name: Rox

Personality: Rox has a cheerful personality, he's really energetic but can get easily disinterested, Unfortunately he likes to mock people just to mess with them, and he's kind of a "hot-headed" guy, but when he gets comfortable with others, he's just really sweet and caring, it can get time to get to him to open, but he tries his best to be kind with everyone (⁠ ⁠T⁠_⁠T⁠)⁠＼⁠(⁠^⁠-⁠^⁠ ⁠)

Backstory: his backstory is really related with another of my oc's, so i'll try to resume it, rox works in a post office and is in charge of sending packages, this doesn't make him very happy so he's mostly just wanting the day to end to go home, in one of those days he sees a black spot landing in the forest, hes really curious about what it can be, so he goes to investigate, when entering the depths of the forest he founds that the thing he saw was a dark matter being, this scared him a little, but hes still curious about him, so he goes up to talk to it, this scares the dark matter because he didn't know they were watching him. After talking a little they become friends!, so now rox teaches and tells him all about dreamland (After this, they have various adventures, and a lot of things happends but I'll leave that for later. )

Let's see where he goes!, even if he's alone in this he has friends supporting him

running a little late, but someone's finally arriving at the @kirbyoctournament !

sent in to the tourney by her well meaning friends, starstruck is a Totally Normal adult waddle dee from king dedede's kingdom of dream land! she's here to try and meet new people, and maaaybe get out of her anxious shell a little bit!

equipped with her customary cheerful attitude, she's also sporting a brand new backpack full of lovingly packed goodies to help her through the event.

a few notes for any interactions

🌸 despite being a waddle dee, other waddle dees typically don't like being around her, and folks who already know what a waddle dee should be like also tend to get a weird vibe off her. 🌸 she is quite friendly and approachable, but prone to extreme anxiety if she perceives she might have done something wrong or inappropriate. tiny wanya takes criticism the way a handful of hay takes a flame. 🌸 if you have wings and you take her flying she'll never leave your side. she's only palm sized, so if you are big and have wings or can fly, please pick her up and go flying with her please please pleeaase she wants to go go flying and fawn over your wings so so bad 🌸 for the purposes of the tourney, which by merit of its existence is something of an au timeline, consider this event to completely predate her ability to summon these.

Idea that bandanna dee reminds dedede of Box Dee

Hm… I’m assuming you meant to say Bow Dee, anon? If so, then I can kinda see why you’d think that.

While I wouldn’t call it a one-to-one comparison (Bow is a bit more impulsive and abrasive, while Bandee can be nervous and kind-hearted to a fault), there are definitely some parallels you can draw between them: the energetic personality, the love of adventure, the courage to stand up to danger despite the odds, etc. Dedede doesn’t get to see Bow as often in the future - busy with their duties aboard the Halberd after earning the title of Sailor Dee - but I think he’d still pick up on these similarities regardless, having grown up with one and practically helped raise the other (or so he boasts).

On one hand, it’s probably nostalgic for him to see glimpses of his old friends in the young spearwielder - smart and skilled (and a little skittish) like his father, brave and joyful (and a little reckless) like his godparent. It’s like little reminders of his youth, the adventures had and memories made, living on in the next generation.

But, on the other hand, he might feel a pang of dread. “Oh great - now there’s two of them.”
