I’m the 18 year old anon who compared BD to Taylor swift and i’m british too, so maybe that’s why i’m not impressed with Bob Dylan because he’s never been that culturally relevant here. My mum knows who he is, but it’s not as if he’s John Lennon. Do you know what I am getting at? His art and life legacy isn’t shit but he’s also not relevant. He’s not Taylor Swift!! I stand by what I said. Bob dylan isn’t international. It’s literally folk music. I’m not going to argue with people about Serge Gainsbourg or Tracey Emin, why are ppl so defensive over bob dylan?

He needs something to solidify himself in the industry forever. Like patrick bateman in american psycho, tom cruise in top gun, Leonardo dicaprio in titanic, benedict cumberbatch as sherlock, martin freeman in the hobbit, tom holland as spider-man, tom hardy in mad max etc. i could go on. Hopefully he achieves this in dune. We’ll have to see 😌
