Bir 2011 Kasım’ı… Ömrüm boyunca unutmayacağım bir andı Gizem’in Beyaz Show’daki hâli.

Ellerini önünde birleştirmiş, başı hafifçe eğik, konuşmadan önce parmak kaldıracak kadar saygılı…

Aynı zamanda müthiş öfkeli, şaşkın ve isyankâr.

Öğretmeninin çektiği, sınıf arkadaşlarına “Babam inşaatlarda çalışıyor, delik botlarla geziyorum ama okulda şımarıklık yapmıyorum.

Sizin her şeyiniz var ama hep düzeni bozuyorsunuz” dediği YouTube videosu çok izlenince televizyona çıkarmışlardı Gizem’i.

Orada da toplumun kendi gibilere layık gördüğü yere isyan ediyordu.

Bir stüdyo dolusu seyirci bu “büyümüş de küçülmüş” kıza kahkahalarla gülerken şaşkın gözlerle bakıyor, çatık kaşlarını bir an olsun kaldırmıyordu.

Karşısındaki kitle sinirlerini bozmuştu. “Ne gülüyorsunuz” dediğinde, insanların kendisine gülmesine kızmıyor, anlattıklarında gülünecek ne olduğunu anlamaya çalışıyordu.

İsyan ettiği gerçeklere başkalarının da isyan etmemesini aklı almıyordu.

Sadece öğretmenine engel olan valinin değil, anlattığı acılar karşısında kahkaha atmaktan utanmayan herkesin “kalıbına tükürecek” kadar öfkeliydi.

O programdan kısa süre sonra, şofben zehirlenmesi sonucunda 11 yaşındaki ablasıyla birlikte hayatını kaybetti.

Aradan geçen sekiz yılda bir gün bile unutmadım Gizem’i.

Günün birinde hikâyesini herkese anlatmak için, onu eski bir gazete kupüründe tarihin acımasız unutkanlığına terk etmemek için kendime verdiğim sözü hiç çıkarmadım aklımdan.

Ne şekilde olacak bilmiyorum ama bir gün bu hikâyeyi anlatacağım.

“Ne gülüyorsunuz?” diyeceğim sonunda da, “Anlatılan sizin hikâyeniz değil mi?”

Because small fresh water crabs are commonly available in abundance in the local fish markets during this time of the year. Though it definitely takes time to crack the exoskeleton to reach that tasty meat! But, the reward is manifold! Moreover, it’s a tedious process to clean a crab & to eat it yet that delicious meat hiding inside the exoskeleton is enough to make you cook this Indian crab curry more often! So, its always better to be prepared to invest a good amount of time to relish Bengali Style Kakrar Jhaal! This Bengali crab curry is cooked with few spices & consists of less gravy.
