Thanks for sticking with me guys. This was probably one of the worst years ever for me personally. So this comic was meant to be a giant middle finger to all my struggles showing i can still make art. So even if this doesn’t gain much traction, i’m happy to be done. And looking forward to making more comics in the future.

Do you have any future plans for the Ghost roommate or Diego Diablo?

I first found your page because I liked your Spider-Man x MHA comics but as I've followed you for the past two years, I find myself preferring your OC content more and more; I've especially grown fond of your monster designs and the mix of humor/horror you inject into both characters. If you ever plan on making a webcomic or something similar, I would read it in a heartbeat.

hello andro0s I've been mulling over this ask for awhile.

The short version is that I really really really really am grateful that you enjoy my original content as I'm at a crossroads of rebuilding my self esteem and confidence in myself and as an artist. And that whats really holding me back is my own self doubt. But also I want to try. It's why I bought a bunch of books for inspiration for these specific projects to see what I can conjure.

I still want to do Spidey x MHA because well......i still enjoy it. And rewatching the raimi films and rereading the lee/Ditko run right now is reminding me of how much I love spiderman.

Thank you for sticking with me all this time. I truly mean it.

AlexDrawsAgain presents: The Roommate. An October tale.

God this was a total nightmare to finish with me having to push a boulder up a hill thanks to life. But at least it’s done. Although it was liberating to work on original content again after such a long time.

For the record: The Mad Scientist is named Dr. Jenny Barrera. She’s Mexican American. And the Ghost is simply named Penny.

Last year I did a comic for a story called the Roommate in which a mad scientist named Jenny who isolates herself from society buys a haunted car and unintentionally brings a perky if also lonely ghost named Penny into her home.

I’ve always planned for there to be a third character to join the cast someday when i can do more comics. Wendy is a cheerful vampire who comes from a long bloodline of rich vampires but much like Penny and Jenny is the blacksheep/oddball of her family. It’s that outsider quality is what ultimately leads to the three becoming friends (or in the case of Jenny very reluctantly).

I just love these two. Jenny (the mad scientist) and Penny (the ghost) bounce each other very well in stuff I’d like to write. I just like the thing where the living person is the sullen downer compared to the actual dead person who is more lively.

I know it’s cruel but there are so many terrible things that have happened to peter in the comics that i wish happened in this in some way. Just for the mortified reactions of the various UA faculty members as peter recounts them. Like the gauntlet, or kravens last hunt, or the clone saga,

It's probably one of those things that if an older beaten up version of peter that's very 616-ish would crossover ala spider-verse then it'd work. And EVERYONE would be horrified.

And i dunno, if he was a single dude but also y'know a sad loser adult, (shrugs) eh maybe we can hook him up with one of a thousand waifu's horikoshi drew in the series. AN ADULT OBVIOUSLY.

that's just me because, y'know, i finally admit i like the romance portions of spider-man when done well. we all want that dude to be happy.

I left unemploymentville and got my ass a job finally so i can help my family. And i guess i'm just getting my life under control at the moment. so it's kinda bittersweet.
