Intoxicated Arguments
Kaeya Alberich x Reader
Summary: Although the reader and Kaeya are not exclusively in a relationship their current relationships becomes strained as the reader returns to find Kaeya had slept with someone else (Implied Female Reader However Gender is not Mentioned)
Warning: mentions of mature themes
Tumblr media
Your arrival was unexpected. And how convenient for him for you to arrive while he was just finishing up with a one-night-stand. You two weren't together. he'd much rather keep his sappy love for you to himself. You had been away on an expedition in Liyue, courtesy of Jean. He almost insisted on accompanying you, he genuinely feared for your safety. How could he possibly allow anything to happen to the one person that cured his loneliness the most? In the end, he didn't go with you and he came to the conclusion that it was probably for the best. It was getting harder and harder to contain his feelings lately and if he had gone he might have just spilled his guts to you in honesty hour around a mood-setting campfire.
In all honesty, he knew how you felt about him but he was still afraid you didn't feel the same way and that he had it all wrong. He also knew he'd end up disappointing you like he had others that were close to him. So he'd settled with just the thought of you while he slept with other people.
"Why am I not surprised." You spoke, leaning against the wooden door frame of Kaeya's office. He was fastening his belt as the girl slipped past you out the door. Embarrassment and shame were clearly written on her dusted pink cheeks. " Don't get the wrong Idea." He said while pulling his boots on. "What is there to get the wrong idea about?" " You can do whatever you want or rather whoever you want."
He didn't know what to say. Technically he had no reason to explain the situation you had arrived in, yet the look in your eyes made him feel incredibly guilty. " Well, see ya" you waved and left him in the office.
He sighed loudly turning his head to the ceiling. As much as he wanted to chase after you and explain the situation. There wasn't anything he could explain to you. And even if he had run after you down the hall it would become obvious to you the feelings for you he was bottling up.
The guilt was eating him up inside. He sat next to Rosaria in the tavern. She simply slid a glass of red liquid across the table to him. He pulled the glass to his lips pouring the alcoholic beverage down his throat. " You gonna spill or should I go pray to Lord Barbabatoes?" " It's complicated" he admitted. He was almost 100% sure Rosaria knew what was up, but he couldn't confess his feelings for you to her. If he was gonna profess his love for you, your ears were supposed to hear those words first.
He didn't drink enough to be absolutely trashed but he definitely had a bunch of courage and a filterless mouth for his words. He was kicking the bricked road outside your door. " Kaeya?" Your peered out from your window. He looked up at the sound of your voice calling his name. You then disappeared from the window. He could hear you rushing down the stairs and you opened the front door.
" Are you okay?" You asked him. Why? Why did you have to care for him so much? "
Listen... I'm sorry" You were shocked at his sudden apology. He didn't have anything to apologise for on the surface but deep down that apology meant more to you than anyone would ever know.
" For what?" you crossed your arms over your chest. Your stubbornness seeped into the air. He sighed. You were gonna make him spell it out, weren't you?
" For earlier..."
" You really have nothing to apologise for. It's really got nothing to do with me who you sleep with Kaeya. We're not together it doesn't concern me.”
" You're wrong it does concern you!"
" I think about you so much it's driving me crazy!"
" Don't you understand, I'm In love with you!"
"Kaeya, you're drunk you should go home." You furrowed your eyebrows, your heart beating out of its cage. You've seen Kaeya pull many stunts while being intoxicated, but this was new.
" I'm not drunk " He sighed
" Why didn't you just tell me then Kaeya, Instead I had to walk in on you after you slept with someone else."
" I'm also in love with you Kaeya! How did you think that made me feel?"
" If you think about me so much when why didn't you think about me while you were screwing some random girl in your office huh?"
" I was, I did. It was supposed to be distraction but all I could think about was what it would be like if you were in her place." he averted his gaze.
"Kaeya!"
Kaeya took a deep breath in " And look okay I couldn't exactly run down the halls of the favoinus headquarters yelling that to you and I know that's, not a valid reason and I'm sorry. I wouldn't blame you if you reject me right here. That was a royal asshole move "
The silence was deafening. For not only him but for you too.
" You're actually sorry?" You asked him.
" From the bottom of my heart," He said
" You so dumb you know that"
" I know"
He stepped closer to you his hands gently cupped your cheeks and he placed a soft kiss on your lips. "smells like dandelion wine," you say when you parted. " Sorry-" you wrapped your hands around his neck pulling him in for another kiss.
You two sat on the step in front of your door and spoke about everything and anything. The confessions were flying left right and centre between the two of you.
" I swear to the Anemo Archon, Kaeya if you forget this tomorrow, I will-"
"How could I possibly forget the best thing that's happened in my entire life" He interrupted you.

My Sweet Professor
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Summary: The reader experiences an unexpected wordless confession from their professor (Gender-Neutral)
A/N: The Major that Levi teaches is not mentioned. Please feel free to imagine the Major that best suits you as the reader
Tumblr media
He was effortlessly cool, calm and collected 98% of the time. All the girls talked about him. You had heard the whispers and bubbly giggling whenever he walked past. You too spoke about him. He was a great professor for the major you had chosen. You perhaps spoke too highly of him to your friends and it wasn't long until they had developed a knack for teasing you about it.
You walked with Connie in the corridors. He told you he would walk you to the library before he headed home. You had planned to spend the rest of your evening working on a thesis paper that was due next week.
" Hey look, it's your boyfriend." Connie nudged you when you stopped just outside the library. You turned your head in the direction he had suggested. Your eyes landed on the Professor in question as he walked in your direction. his eyes never left yours. You held your breath as he walked past you and into the library.
You breathed out when the door closed behind him. You wacked Connie in the arm " That wasn't Funny Connie, What if he heard you!" you whispered through gritted teeth to your chucking friend. " Don't get too distracted and write your thesis paper" you gave him a deadpanned look. " Have you even started?" " ahh look at the time," He said looking at his empty wrist " Gotta go write that thesis paper" He waved you goodbye and headed to the parking lot. you sighed and adjusted the strap of the book bag on your shoulder.
You browsed through some books you thought could serve as good research, the pile in your arms growing taller every time you added another. Professor Levi Ackerman didn't seem to pay much attention to the rumours that circled him or if he did he didn't show that he cared. He was quite refined from what you had heard. he was well established in his field and he was praised by students and other professors alike. You had only ever seen him be serious all the time. His demeanour was intimidating and god forbid you turned in your assignments or homework late. He was kind of ruthless yet the students in his classes excelled exceptionally at his subject.
you placed the stack at an empty table and set up your laptop. Just as you were about to grab the book on the top someone swiped it just before you could. You looked up, your eyes gliding along the familiar build of the man you placed so highly in your little hierarchy of role models. You were crushing, crushing hard and you hated that. You were like all the other students that were head over hills for the professor.
" Interesting choice" he paged through the book you had chosen. He then disappeared along the shelves and your cheeks dusted red. You kicked yourself for not managing to even mutter a response. For piece of mind you decided you didn't need that book and if you did you would come to find it later in the week to avoid contact.
He returned a few minutes with another book in his hand. " Try this instead he placed the book you had picked out and the new one he suggested on the table next to the stack. You were internally panicking and you hoped that he didn't catch on to the fact that you were undeniably flustered. You managed to utter a small thank you.
He then sat in the seat across from you. You worked quietly on the thesis paper. The slight blush on your cheeks had eventually dispersed as your nerves calmed and you became accustomed to his presence. Every so often you would glace up in his direction. His dark hair was neatly falling to frame his perfectly angled face. His silver eyes darted across the pages of the book he was reading. It was no surprise that you developed an attraction to him.
Before you knew it. It was late, you glanced at the time on the corner of your laptop screen. 11h45. You quickly stood up alerting your unofficial company." I'm going to miss the last train!" you said aloud. you quickly pack up placing the Library books in the return bin. You were about to leave before Levi spoke up. " Let me drive you to the station "
You fidgeted in the passenger seat, making awkward small talk. You ended up missing the last train and he insisted to drive you home. " You shouldn't make a habit of doing this, it's dangerous at night" " Yeah" you awkwardly laughed. It was actually the first time this had happened throughout your university career. It was almost as if his presence in the library soothed you to the point that you forgot that time existed.
" Please be careful, I wouldn't want any harm to come your way." he overshared his thoughts. He skillfully steered the car onto your street and then came to a halt in front of your apartment building.
" Thanks for driving me, I really appreciate it" You smiled at him. and he nodded in response.
Your eyes met and a ribbon of intense emotions unraveled. He leaned over placing his hand on the side of your face, pulling you in for a kiss. You were shocked but you didn't reject him. you eased into the kiss reciprocating his advance. It was short-lived. He quickly pulled away. " I'm sorry that was inappropriate of me" he was just as embarrassed by the sudden actions as you were. His eyes turned to the steering wheel to avoid seeing your reaction.
" I- um should get going" you rushed out of the car closing the car door. you were about to leave but you suddenly turned around. You opened the car door again and bent down to peer inside. His eyes shot up from the wheel to yours. " Professor Levi, I like you" You closed the door not allowing him to respond and rushed toward your apartment building.
You slid down the front door of your apartment once you were inside. Your hand cupped your mouth the realisation dawning on you. The thought of facing him after you blatantly confessed your feelings to him horrified you.
Yet, you lightly touched your lips where his had previously just been and your heart filled with giddy excitement.
It was not the last time you would kiss your professor.

Feeble Hearts
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Summary:
Tumblr media
Warning: mentions of violence and blood
A/N: Finallyyy done heres your request :)
Tumblr media
You couldn't breathe, your airway blocked by the hands of a petty scout with some vendetta against you. "you think you're better than everyone else? huh?" Their leader's fingers tightened around your neck. The cover of the shadows shielded you from any witnesses. If you were to die at their hands tonight, not a soul in Paradis would know. Your back was pressed against the cold stone wall of an alley way, their giggles slowly drowning out into a piercing ringing as you slipped in and out of consciousness. Just as you were about to pass out their fingers slipped from your neck dropping you to the bricks below. You coughed violently as the oxygen was finally allowed to pass through to your lungs. "Watch yourself!" they giggled maliciously as the tears burned your cheeks.
They were a group from one of Levi's Fan clubs, you'd call them more like a cult if you were being honest. Your relationship with the captain wasn't all that great to top it so you ended up a personal target for them. There were days when it wasn't as unbearable and then there were days like this where you wished you were swallowed during an expedition. You weren't sure how long you stayed on the ground, curled up in a ball, your forehead pressed to the floor and your hands lightly in place of where theirs were firmly pressed.
At some point, the tears must have stopped and you pulled yourself up before anyone would find you. You dragged yourself back to your dorm, you hardly noticed the lack of other personnel as you strode through hallways, until a familiar voice called your attention back to reality.
"You realize it's past curfew?" you turned your head up to Levi standing in front of you, arms crossed and a slightly annoyed expression on his face. " What's that on your neck?" You unintentionally attempted to cover the marks left behind from earlier. "If fraternizing after curfew is why you joined the survey corps I suggest you reconsider your career choice." He spoke sternly and unapologetically. It was the last thing you had wanted to hear especially since you were enduring this because of him.
Anger boiled up inside you, "Even if I was, which I am not, it's not your business, you're not my captain!" You storm past him. How dare he, He was completely oblivious to what you were going through. He should keep his assumptions to himself before accusing you of something like that.
~
Levi was assigned to give your squad some tips for slaying titans, you weren't so keen on interacting with him today based on your encounter the night before, and his fan club was of course obsessively watching from the sidelines. "Maybe if you had gotten the correct amount of sleep the night before you come to training you'd perform better." he was harsh from the start, nitpicking every little thing you did right down to the tightness of the straps for your ODM gear. you couldn't tell if it was his usual attitude or if he had an extra hatred targeted at you today.
~
You knew what was waiting for you when you stepped out of the dining hall after dinner. You were grabbed by the hair and dragged to the lovely ally way you had become all too well acquainted with. You were forcefully thrown against the wall at the end of the narrow path. " Didn't I tell you to watch yourself?" their teeth gritted as if you had committed a crime of the highest degree against the king. That's when the blows to your torso came one after the other. You grunted in pain as they took turns violently bullying you, You spat out the blood that formed in your mouth as their leader stepped away after the last kick. " If you bother Levi with your inability to-".
They were interrupted by a strong knee to the stomach by Levi. Once, Twice, Three times. " Now you listen to me, if I see one more mark on her skin or if you even dare to try to bully her, I will personally ensure that the titans grind you alive during the next expedition, got that!" " So watch yourself." they scurried off as Levi pulled you into his arms picking you up. " I had it under control," you whispered as you wiped the blood from your mouth. " If you call getting your ribs obliterated under control then sure"
He placed you on his office chair and started unbuttoning your shirt, " Hey! you can't just unbutton a woman's shirt like that Levi!" You blushed furiously pushing him away. "I'll do it myself..." Levi sighed and handed you the bandages, he stepped outside to allow you to properly dress your wounds.
Levi made you some tea and leaned against his desk by your side. you sat crossed-legged on the chair as you two shared silence for some time. " Why didn't you tell me?" Levi finally questioned you. You turned your head to your hands in your lap." If I had known you were being relentlessly bullied by those inconsiderate fools you could have avoided this". "I didn’t think you cared, we don’t exactly talk often enough and if I were to randomly blurt out ‘ hey your die hard fans fans are chocking me after curfew’ didn’t seem right" you  laughed nervously and never made eye contact as you confessed your emotions.
Levi sighed and moved from the edge to stand in front of you. Levi's hand slid to your cheek and placed his forehead on yours. "You’re all I care about" he whispered against your lips before kissing you softly.

Hello, I have a request. Levi Ackerman X female reader set in the AOT World. They're not in a relationship yet and they're somewhat enemies. Reader is being bullied by some scouts which goes on for a while and one day Levi notices them try to beat her up and intervenes which puts them off ever trying again due to punishment threats. Levi then helps reader off the floor and takes her back to his office to check her over. You can decide on how that ends :)
Hope that's okay, thanks.
Hi there, apologies for the late response, I ended up writing your request, but I misplaced the pages that I wrote my draft on. I promise that I am working on re-writing it and will post your request soon✨😊💓

All is Fair in Law and Murder
I know this blog is dedicated to Levi but I couldn’t help myself.
William James Moriarty x Reader
Summary: The reader is on the scales between justice and revenge after receiving a strange letter and mid party rendezvous with a long time crush. To what end is the reader willing to go and how will they tip the scales. (Implied female reader, however gender is never mentioned)
Warning mentions of violence and self-mutilation
Tumblr media
Pleading self defence was a part of your agenda.
Lets Rewind.
9 hours prior.
You stepped out into the hallway that lead to the courtyard. The cool summer wind blew through the greenery and brushed your skin gently. You weren’t one for extravagant events especially those hosted in your favour.
Your thoughts linger on the letter you received yesterday. The implied accusations seemed far-fetched and irrational and more like a plot to get you to retaliate. However, the voice in the back of your mind whispered horrible things to make it seem as if the letter was genuine. It wasn’t long until someone rescued you from yourself.
“Do I dare say what a coincidence?” You spoke but didn’t turn to face the newly arrived company.
“Indeed I am here of my own volition.”
“So why is William James Moriarty at my suitor party? You didn't come to ask for my hand did you?” You made it seems like a joke but in truth, William was a fine man and if he had come for that reason you wouldn’t decline. You knew this wasn’t the case. Your feelings for the man went largely unnoticed at least that was what you were under the impression of.
He lightly chuckled at your attempt to amuse him. The reality was that he knew that after you were set to marry, the two of you would no longer share mundane moments like these and if he were in honesty, he would deeply miss you. In another life, he would’ve asked you to marry him to share your life with him and him alone. That would be selfish right? To drag you into his world, surely you would resent him.
He’d rather keep you at a distance, for you to keep your light naïve demeanour. The world could use more noblemen like you.
You leaned on the concrete railing. “ Don’t you find it odd?” you spoke up “ How a perfectly healthy woman woke up dead from an unexplainable illness?” You hardly spoke of your mother and he never pressed you. He tried not to get too involved in your life choosing to ignore the things he picked up through his keen observation skills.
“Pay no mind to my words, perhaps I am just reminiscing since I'm due to be married” Your words stung a little as if your acknowledgement of the situation made it seem more real. William gently takes your hand and places a penny in your palm, You look at him confused. “ A penny for your last thoughts” He whispered.
You held the penny up to your heart. “We can no longer meet like this.” you remind him you can’t be his. You turn to leave and he allows you to walk away.
You enter the large ballroom, “ Cheers to my child’s engagement, Italy is a fine place indeed.” So he had decided to ship you off to Italy, Father of the year alright.
You didn’t return to the party instead you returned to your quarters and waited for all the guests to empty out of the manor. You then approached your father's study.
“It’s late, you have an awful amount of packing tomorrow before you leave for Italy, I suggest some rest is in order” Your father was strict almost like he had no care for you. A mindless pawn for his disposal but not anymore.
“ I received a strange letter...” Intrigued he looked up at you and you passed the letter to him. “ It isn’t true right?’
“ Of course not, don't be naïve!”
“Right of course father, it seemed quite ridiculous”
“Have you shown this letter to anyone?”
Bingo!
“ How could I, that letter is extremely incriminating to our family name” you place a glass of wine on his desk. He gets up and picks up the glass, swirling the liquid inside. before abruptly throwing the glass against the wall behind you.
“How foolish of you to think I would fall the same trick I used against your mother.” He pushed you against the wall aiming a shard from the broken glass at your throat.
“ Now I will kill you just like I did your mother and everyone will think you were so in love that you rushed to Italy to be with your dear beloved. I’ll be free of burdens, Oh how long I waited for...” You pulled the letter opener out from his chest.
“ The wine was never poisoned” you grabbed his hand making a slight incision on your neck with the glass shard. He fell to his knees and you placed your foot on his shoulder pushing him onto the wooden floor of the study to simulate a struggle.
“Now, I’ll kill you and plead self-defence!”
You watched as the light slowly left his eyes before dropping the letter opener and running off frantically begging for help to sell your act.
You walked out of the station that morning cleared of charges and framed as the victim, it turns out your father committed many crimes over the last decade which came to light upon his death.
When you stepped into the street you were faced with none other than William. He was about to open his mouth to say something but instead, you spoke up first.
“Wait one moment...” you rummaged through your pockets before stepping closer to him. You whispered in his ear. “ A penny for your thoughts?” you leaned back slightly placing the penny in his jacket pocket near his chest.
He gently placed his hands on either side of your face stepping closer. “ Marry me,” he whispered on your lips before kissing you softly.
Perhaps you’d have a place in his world after all.

Unrealistic Romance
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Summary: The reader asks Levi if he’s in love with anyone because of an unrealistic romance novel they’re reading. (Gender-Neutral)
Tumblr media
“Are you in love with someone?”
“Why the sudden interest in my personal life?”
Levi continued to stand behind his desk, shuffling through the papers. When he looked up after a few minutes of silence from your lack of response, he noticed you smiling at the book you were reading. He didn’t understand why you chose to spend all your free time with him even if you two weren’t necessarily doing the same things. He wouldn’t say he didn’t enjoy your company. Your presence was comforting to him, it cured his loneliness more than he cared to admit.
"What are you reading?" He cleared the air, "A romance novel."  Your eyes never left the book as you responded quite uninterested in conversing, glued to some made-up reality the author created for the reader's enjoyment. " You shouldn't indulge in those pesky fantasies." You look up at him moving on the sofa to sit up on your knees and placing the book on your lap. "Why not?" You question him. He sighs, " Those 'romance novels' don't depict realistic forms of romance at all, so don't get the wrong idea."
" Does that mean you have read said romance novels?" You completely miss the point he was trying to make. You move again, but this time to the chair in front of his desk, A clear grin present on your lips. He knew he had dug this grave himself so he had no choice but to lie in it. "That doesn't concern you." He was desperate to save his pride but he knew he had already given you enough information to tease him.
He watched you closely as you swiveled around in your chair sighing. You leaned your head back against the top of his desk, hair sprawled over his paperwork. Your smile faded into a serious expression. " If you're such an expert, why don't you show me what real romance is like?"
He knew you were fooling around, he was no stranger to your antics. Yet the way you looked up at him lips slightly parted and eyes sparkling with anticipation. He was ready to abandon his pride and any consequences that the aftermath would bring. The urge to just lean down and kiss you so deeply you forget those silly made-up stories pulled so strongly on the strings of his heart.
If it weren't for his wavering tenacity to keep things professional, maybe you wouldn't have had those few extra seconds to react, pulling from whatever hold you had over him at that moment.
" But then again..." You stood up snatching the opportunity from him.  "It's not my concern is it?" You two shared a quite intimate eye contact before you dismissed him a farewell and headed to bed. He felt stupid for letting you leave like that.
Levi wondered if he had upset you by not indulging in the sweet romantic gesture you were so desperate for him to oblige in. However, now that his head was clear from distraction he could see how much of a problem it would have been if he had done what you had wanted. You weren't underage but word gets out quick because people don't refrain from petty gossip. He wouldn't want people getting the wrong idea and dragging your name through the dirt under the disguise of favoritism. So he had concluded that he had made the right decision.
When pulled open his office door after a sleepless night of debating his conclusion, he was surprised to be knocked full force to the ground your forehead smacking into his nose as you both crashed to the ground.
"What are you doing!?" He instinctively clasped his hand over his nose after the sudden impact. You scrambled off your captain and clutched your forehead wincing in pain " I was trying to hear if you were awake." You attempted to explain yourself. " Your nose is bleeding." You commented. " I wonder whose fault that is is?" He shot you an unamused glare. "Wait here!" He watched as you sprinted out the door.
He pulled himself off the floor and grabbed a clean cloth to wipe the blood that had poured out of his nose and dusted his pants. You returned moments later carrying band-aids and bandages. Levi wasn't surprised at your dramatic arrival of slipping across the polished passage floor, announcing your presence with a loud thud.
" Sometimes I honestly don't know how you're still alive." Levi sighed and headed to you to help you up. You could feel the warmth of his hand as he pulled you up and dragged you across the room, respectfully pushing you into his office chair. Levi takes the band-aids from you, you cast your eyes downwards. Levi sighs " Remember you asked me yesterday if was in love with someone?" you nodded not looking up. Levi lifted your chin. " I am in love with someone." He placed a soft kiss on your lips his hands resting gently on the sides of your face. " I'm in love with you."  He pulled away and smacked a band-aid onto your forehead. " What was that for?" You narrow your eyes at him with your hand on your forehead as you tried to ease the pain from the already bruised area." For being a stupid brat". You folded your arms and slumped in his chair. Levi turned to walk out as he had planned earlier before this incident.
" Hey Levi!..." You called out to him. He stopped in the doorway. " I'm in love with you too" He lightly smiled and left, leaving your heart warm and fuzzy.

Parent Troubles
A/n: Sorry this is so late I had some serious writers block. I hope you don't mind that I made it more gender-neutral. I loved this Idea <3
Levi Ackerman x Parent Reader ( gender-neutral)
Tumblr media
" Protective?!" the child both you and Levi cherished spoke up from the sofa in your office. "I can barely talk to my friend for 2 seconds before he butts in, I mean he appears out of nowhere...".  You listened to them as they babbled on while you scribbled away at the mountain of paperwork you had.
" You should probably clean this office before Dad sees it..." the 15-year-old commented on the state of your not so sanitary office. You grimaced at the thought of Levi busting into your office only to discover you hadn't been keeping up his level of cleanliness. You were relieved that he had been too occupied with your teenage kid to keep tabs on your sense of hygiene.
You were interrupted by them standing in front of your desk. You looked up to them dragging their hand under the tabletop, a motion you were all too familiar with. " I wonder what Dad would say?" a mischievous grin plastered on their face.
you narrowed your eyes at them knowing exactly what they were up to. You sighed putting your pen down and folding your arms across your chest.
" What do you want?" "All alright!" they shouted with glee " Keep Dad busy for a couple of hours tomorrow and my lips are sealed about your office, deal?"
"Deal"
You should have known this would be no easy feat, although the more you thought about it, the more you enjoyed the thought of spending some alone time with Levi.
Both of you were Captains so you understood how busy things could get and with your kid treading into their rebellious stage, life seemed to just sweep away your time.
You had been wandering the halls thinking of a way to get Levi distracted tomorrow. Of course, there were plenty of ideas that floated through your head. Maybe a little too many inappropriate ones that unintentionally popped up now and then.
When you had wandered to Levi's office, you decided to wing it.  You slipped in and made your way over, leaning on the side desk your back facing him. You had momentarily caught his attention before he continued his work.
After all these years, your heart still raced in his presence. The room was silent despite the faint sounds of his pen moving along the paper.  Your thoughts were running miles as you tried to form the correct sentence that didn't sound suspicious but, it's not like you were only doing this to get out of trouble. You did want to spend time with him.
" If you have something on your mind, spit it out! we're not flustered teens that can't communicate anymore." You glanced over your shoulder at him. " I was thinking... if maybe you'd want to do something tomorrow." " We haven't had time alone in a while". You added
You expected him to decline. You knew Levi loved you. Although he would never admit it, he wanted to spend every moment he had with you but reality still sets and he's too busy.
He set his pen down and glanced up at you, " okay, there"s something I've been wanting to do for a while anyway." Your eyes lit up " really?" Levi slightly smiled, after all these years you still got the same look in your eyes every time you get excited.
" All right! let's get started "
when you said you wanted to spend the day with Levi, this is exactly what you were trying to avoid.
" Did you think I wouldn't notice that you haven't cleaned your office in weeks?"
You pouted and refused to make eye contact like a child being scolded.
You and Levi chatted here and there while cleaning. " How did you find out?" you asked him curiously. " I came in here the other day looking for that Brat of ours..." " now that I think about it just the thought of Jean or Eren or anyone putting their sleazy hands on them just boils my blood"
You lightly chuckled at his protectiveness " you know they're starting to grow up, They're not a little kid anymore" Levi looked up at you. " I know but you guys are all I have..." Levi was only this vulnerable around you, " I know you're all we have too" you pulled him into a hug.
The two of you continued to clean your office until the door swung open abruptly.
" Guess what! I got asked on a date... ohhhh you got busted huh" they laughed. You cleared your throat "Speaking of busted!" you pointed behind them. They glanced behind them shocked to Levi was there the whole time. They bolted out the door Levi not too far behind them.
You smiled, you loved the family you had.

Shoot Your Shot
Levi Ackerman x Reader (Modern AU)
Summary: Mascot Reader slowly realises they have feelings for basketball player Levi (gender-neutral)
Tumblr media
Shrieks bellowed as your team scored another basket. You jump for joy inside your mascot attire. It's not like you enjoyed being inside a stuffy hot costume but at least you had this as an excuse to see your crush Eren play basketball without his crazy ex-girlfriend hounding you if you stared too long.
Paradis High wasn't a dream but you seemed to like it here despite the cons it had. " Oi, Brat" you hear after the stands had emptied and the rush of the game had dissipated. " What" you pull the head of the costume off. " Why do you insist on wearing that ridiculous outfit" You tuck the head under your arm Turning to face him. " Why not"
He looked at you unimpressed, his hands lightly resting on his hips and slightly crinkling the uniform that displayed number 4. Levi was the best player the team had and most times he carried the entire team to victory. This man could shoot shots from unimaginable distances. Don't let me even mention the air-time he gets. Although even if you took all of this into consideration Eren still ranked more popular then he did. Not that he cared.
" Ready to go...?"  You avoid his stare and change the subject. "...Captain?..." Eren's Approaching voice echoed through the empty space. Levi ripped the mascot head from your grasp and swiftly shoved it on your head despite your protests.
"Hey..." Eren waved as he walked closer " I was wondering if you'd be down to shoot some hoops as practice... maybe Saturday?" " Well, I-" " whose that?" Eren interrupted. Levi glanced at you, your heart pounded in your chest as you stiffened.
"Nobody" he shoved you in the direction of the gym doors " They were just leaving" You took that as your cue to get the hell out of there.
"Do you think he likes me?" You kicked off the desk gliding across the neat room in a desk chair. " I wouldn't know " Levi responded nonchalantly as he turned a page of a book he was reading.
"Uggggghhh" you let out as you glided across in the opposite direction. " I swear talking to you is like talking to the walls" You glided back again. " Then go talk to Eren."
Levi's gaze was pulled from the pages by a slight crash, his nerves settling when he saw you laying on the floor, the desk chair no longer on its legs. " ahhhh, I'm injured" " You should join the drama club" He ignored your antics and continued to read.
You glanced at Levi from his bedroom floor, the afternoon sun lightly grazing his skin causing your heart to unexplainably speed up " Guess I'll take my injured self home then" you brushed it off and stood up " I'll walk you, can't let an imaginary injured soldier walk home alone now can I"  you scoffed at his wit.
Levi sat across from you in the library, books sprawled across the table. You watched as he crossed his eyebrows trying to solve a math problem. His fingers tapping the buttons of his calculator
When did Levi get so pretty?
He glanced up at you, your heart jolted at being caught " I'll be back" you scrambled up from your seat rushing out. " You didn't even finish one problem" he yelled after you, your heart beating uncontrollably.
" Sorry" you apologize to the person you bumped into, hardly even noticing the person. Eren watched as you walked past him into the hallway paying no attention to him at all.
Sweat ran down the side of your face as you cheer for the Survey corps basketball team from inside a titan mascot suit. You no longer watched Eren but instead focused on Levi as he swiftly moved across the court, scoring left, right and centre.
Your chest filled with warmth as you watched him score a smile forming on your lips, your hands raised above your head as you excitedly rejoiced.
The second half was tense as the players nervously treaded around each other, the anticipation growing. Levi had the ball and was catching some serious air attempting a shot. A player from the other team who seemed to pay no mind to the rules had caused him to miss.
The crowd grew silent as he hit the ground twisting his ankle. He clutched his foot, pulling his leg to his chest. You pulled the mascot head off flinging it to an unknown position and bolted towards him. You slid across the floor getting to him first. " Are you okay?" "Clearly not" He winced. You turn away, " We need a medic!" You yell to a bunch of arguing first-aiders.
" You're the mascot!" Eren said to you, shock plastered on his face. "Yes" You answered uninterested, grabbing an ice pack from one of the medics.
Levi narrowed his eyes at the interaction, his thoughts interrupted by you pressing the ice to his ankle.
"What are you doing, Eren is talking to you" Levi whisper-yelled at you.
"I don't care"
"I thought you liked him, I missed my shot so take yours" he encourages you.
"I can't if you die"
"I'm not going to die you idiot, I just sprained my ankle" He said annoyed, and
silence fell between you two.
" I like you" " There's my shot" You blurted out in the heat of the moment.
Just as quickly as Levi’s eyes widened they softened
"Took you long enough, I like you too, you stupid brat"

I Cannot Wait
Levi Ackerman x Reader (Modern AU)
Summary: Levi had to move away for business and the Reader is struggling to cope with the long distance. Levi gives them a surprise visit ( gender-neutral)
Warnings!: Angst, Mentions of death, Mentions of suicide, Blood
Tumblr media
The days were gloomy without him. The rain never seemed to stop. The clouds were always hovering above in deep shades of grey. The sunlight appeared to have disintegrated. the world was void of colour and the nights were now starless. All the warmth he brought to your life was now slowly fleeting.
Even though you spoke through a satellite connection, you didn't communicate as often, as he was consistently busy. You craved his touch. You missed the smell of his hoodies that you would wear whenever you visited. You missed the unique way he made your tea and how he'd complain about your messy habits.
It just wasn't the same without him around. You wanted him by your side so you weren't alone. You understood that you had to part ways for a little bit, and you undoubtedly knew that you'd be together someday, but you silently wished on an empty night sky that time would soon fast forward.
He was millions of miles away, across land and sea. You knew he'd come back to you. you were his anchor, the only one who he was comfortable enough to show his emotions to. Yet still, you felt as though your relationship was slowly falling apart. You knew that he'd never cheat, you knew that his heart belonged to you alone. But alone in your room at night, these fears still plagued your mind and your thoughts.
However you'd wait, you'd wait for eternity for him to come home, regardless of your lack of patience. Why? because it was him, it was him you dreamt you'd spend the rest of your life with, it was him who made you feel safe and secure. It would always be him. Across lifetimes your souls would forever be intertwined.
The sky wept like your tearing heart as you stood at an intersection waiting for the signal that it'd be safe to cross. Your eyes turned to the tar, the white painted lines evenly spaced and the droplets tainted the road several shades darker.
The rain pounded the waterproof fabrics of the umbrella that you held steadily above your head. The darkness of night cloaking you reminding you that you'd return to an empty apartment. You stood alone illuminated by the dim streetlights the few minutes you stood there felt like a loop that was never going end.
You nuzzled your face into your scarf and shoved your free hand in the pocket of your coat in an attempt to block out the cold air that you had noticed followed you wherever you went.
Your gaze turned to the right as you noticed a couple across the street parallel to you. Their hands gloved and tightly entangled, sharing an umbrella and laughing. your heart sank as you remember the similar moments you and Levi had shared.
It was snowing that day, you rubbed your bare hands and blew hot air to warm them while whining in between about how dumb the designers for your coat were for not adding pockets. Levi had grabbed your hand lacing your fingers together with his and putting his hand back into his pocket. You had laughed and responded by teasing him about the other ungloved hand.
You sighed and pulled your eyes away from them as it tore your emotions to pieces. You decided it was best to just focus on what was in front of you. The signal changed to a glowing green hue from its previous red illuminant. Your eyes lifting getting ready to move past this intersection and the pestering thoughts.
Levi stood on the other side umbrella in hand an almost unnoticeable smile on his face as he stepped off the sidewalk and into the road. You were glued to the pavement, your heart filing with uncontrollable joy. the rain started to simmer down and the sky started to sparkle again. Your eyes were gleaming.
The sound of the pitter-patter of his shoes hitting the puddles as one by one he passed the painted white lines. Every step was a step closer to home, closer to you.
It happened right before your eyes. You were blinded by oncoming headlights as a car swerved in Levi's direction. A driver had lost control, their tires slipped and glided over the watery road. If only you had been the one to cross the road instead of him. If only you had stopped desperately wishing for him to come home he wouldn't have been there at that moment.
The car had collided with Levi knocking him to the ground. The blood pooled around him as you frantically made your way to him. Panic filled you to the brim. The rain diluted the liquid that seeped from your beloved. You screamed his name as tears mixed with the rain, your umbrellas long forgotten.
You would not wait any more, You could not wait. You wanted to go with him like you should have the first time.

Adventures in a Towel
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Summary: The reader gets pranked and has to make their way back to their dorm in a just a towel without getting caught ( gender-neutral)
Tumblr media
You felt the warm water run over your skin, the droplets falling onto you as you basked in the steamy shower. You were alone and breaking the rules. It was lights out, however you had been busy cleaning out a dusty old storeroom and had missed the opportunity to shower. You couldn’t fathom the thought of going to bed all sweaty and dusty.
So here you were secretly in the shower getting rid of all the dirt and grime from you days work. When you were feeling satisfied you turned the taps off and stepped out of the shower wrapping a towel around yourself to dry your wet body. You absent-mindedly reached for the clothes you were sure you had placed on the bench. Your hands had only met with the wooden surface before your blood runs cold and you frantically search for your missing outfit.
You started to panic, and your mind was all over the place before finally taking a deep breath and pulling yourself together. After much debate you realised your only option was to discreetly make your way back without getting caught.
With a mapped out route on the fogged up mirror with the little information you had on the soldiers on duty tonight, you quietly reached for the door handle. “no no no no, you’re joking” you whispered loudly, You tugged ever so slightly again but it seemed the jammed door wasn’t going to open and it had been locked purposefully like some sick prank.
You stepped away from the door pacing on the tiled floor, your hands making their way to your hair in frustration. You peered to your left and noticed the open window. Glancing at your indecent attire and you grimaced at your idea, but you didn’t have a choice.
The cool wind hit your exposed skin as you clung to the wall, your body pressed to the bricks as you made your way across the ledge to a nearby open window which you assumed led to the hallway outside the showers. Even though you were glad it didn’t hinder the route you had planned to your dormitory, you weren’t exactly in favourable circumstances to express your gratitude.
You prayed that nobody spotted you or that you would plummet to your death. The thoughts a definite horror. You could just imagine the headlines ‘ Scout Falls to death in a towel’... this wasn’t the way you’d want to go out.
Pushing your nagging thoughts away, you focused on getting to the other window. You silently cheered as you slipped in through the gap you feet making contact with safe ground, relived you hadn’t lived out your horrid thoughts.
You crept through the hallways avoiding passing superiors and patrolling scouts. Your planned route seemed effective and you were almost proud of yourself and you lightly made your way up the final flight of stairs.
one you reached the top, you quietly made a bee-line across the corridor, making a mental note of the wet floor. This was the last stretch you had reassured yourself, and you were almost to the dormitories.
“ What are you doing?” The familiar voice causing a shockwave through your system causing you to slip on the freshly mopped floor, your head hitting the cold stone. You shut your eyes and groaned in pain at the sudden impact. The footsteps echoed closer towards you. Of course you had made the rookie mistake not to account for an insomniac clean freak. you were kicking yourself for carelessly skipping over that fact, had you been in enemy territory you’d be a goner.
When you opened your eyes he stood hovering above you his signature annoyed expression playing on his features. The embarrassment finally settled in as a red blush dusted your cheeks and ears and you mentally thanked Sina the corridor was dimly lit so it could semi-hide your flush of embarrassment.
You swapped glances for several seconds before you cleared your throat “ Captain Levi, Hey... what’s up” His brows furrowed your feeble attempt to act casual and save your ass.
“I hope you have a good reason for running around inappropriately dressed after curfew” He began to scold you “ I swear I do!” you defended yourself. He stepped away from you slightly and you carefully stood up trying not to flash him. You laughed awkwardly as you adjusted the towel getting ready to explain your situation, if there was anybody who’d understand it would be Levi.
“ The thing is-” your words were cut off by Levi stepping closer towards you, He removed his Scouts cape and proceeded to place it over your shoulders lightly fastening the front and pulling the hood over your head. You blinked at him. “ Get to bed, I’ll deal with you in the Morning” He said before turning and walking away leaving you alone in the corridor. You continued to your dorm. You climbed into bed after changing into some nightwear and snuggled into Levi’s cape as you breathed in his scent. Your eyes fluttered closed not long after a small smile on your face as you slept.
Levi shut his office door on his way in. He leaned his head against the door turning is eyes towards the ceiling, he placed his hand over his chest and gave himself a minute to recover from his racing heart and blushing cheeks.

We met in the rain
Levi Ackerman x Reader ( Modern AU )
Summary: Levi gets caught in a sudden downpour, where he meets you for the first time ( gender-neutral )
Tumblr media
Levi stepped out from the warm café, a sudden downpour coating the streets in winter rain. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his coat and nuzzled his face into his scarf as the frosty air hit his skin.
He stood underneath the canopy shielding himself from getting soaked. He sighed feeling stupid for forgetting his umbrella today and he knew that eventually he’d have to go out into the rain as it seemed it wouldn’t be stopping anytime soon.
He pulled his hand out from his pocket and glanced at the watch on his wrist, checking the time before placing his hand right back in his pocket. He was meant to meet Hanji and the others in about 30 minutes but he estimated that he might take longer due to the unexpected weather. He had even considered not showing up.
He remembered Hanji pestering him about a ridiculous dinner for days until he finally agreed out of annoyance. Erwin wasn’t helping him either, instead he encouraged it. Never the less they were finally satisfied that he was going to join them.
He stood there for who knows how long hoping the rain would clear up, but it just continued to pour down hitting the ground at a fast steady pace. He sighed thinking about how he’d end up spending his time cleaning the dirt on his shoes from all the filthy puddles. Just the thought of treading all that muck into his pristine apartment was enough to cause him to frown.
A sudden sound of consistent splashing was heard approaching him. He looked up to see a figure rushing to get out of the rain. There you were covered in water. “ this rain came out of nowhere...” It wasn't as if your comment was directed at him so he didn’t feel obligated to reply, he figured it was just something people would say to fill the air.
He watched as water droplets dripped at the ends of your hair and onto your coat. Shivers ran down his spine at the thought of being in your position right now. “ Tch, you’ll get sick if you run in the rain like that” he muttered in your direction. You brushed off his comment “ I hardly get sick, buts thanks for you concern stranger” you sent a military salute towards him. “ besides I’m dry underneath” you opened your coat revealing your dry clothes beneath the coat. “ waterproof huh..” he said as he turned away from you.
A short silence fell between you two, he glanced over at you to see you smiling, hands resting in your pockets and quietly watching the rainfall. He wondered why you’d be smiling during this miserable weather drenched in the rain yourself, how would this situation make you or anybody else happy.
“ Why were you running in the rain anyway?“ he turned his gaze towards you, You didn’t return the gaze as you replied “ A friend of mine works at this café, so I was hoping I could dry my hair or maybe lend an umbrella” you lightly chuckled.
“I see” he responded nonchalantly. “ How come your just standing here?” you casually asked him. Levi scoffed at your question as if his reply was obvious “ I’m waiting for the rain to stop, because unlike you I have common sense” He realised that his words may have come off as rude but he never cared whether or not he offended anybody, which made him wonder why he cared this time.
You let out a soft laugh at his wit “ you’re right, I may be lacking in that department” He pushed his hands deeper into his pocket slightly relieved you didn’t find him obnoxiously rude or indifferent. His scarf hiding the how the corner of his mouth turned ever so slightly upwards.
“ Well...” you spoke up “ I should probably get going or I might get sick for real”. You made your way towards the café and stopped with you hand on the door, you turned towards him “It was nice meeting you” you smiled to which he just nodded.
You opened the café door the chatter seeping into the street, “ Hey, Sasha -...” you sentence was cut off by the clanging of the entrance door silencing the chatter as well. He was left alone outside once again.
After a few minutes the rain started to settle until it became a very light drizzle. Levi sighed in relief, it was almost as if you were a good luck charm. He turned to the café window to see you talking to the barista, his gaze lingered on you before finally stepping out into the puddle-filled sidewalk.
He finally made it to the restaurant for the dinner he was practically forced to go to. He took a seat beside Erwin muttering a casual greeting. “ Great!” Hanji spoke up “ now we’re just waiting for one more person” a giddy expression playing on their face.
He was confused until he saw Hanji wave towards the door. He turned in his seat to try and identify the person only for his eyes to widen at your approaching form waving back to Hanji.
Your familiar voice reached his ears “ Hey Hanji” you greeted and slipped into the seat next to them. Your hair was dry and you placed the same coat across you lap “ Glad you could make it “ Hanji began to introduce the other two at the table “ This is Erwin and that’s - “
“ Hey there stranger” you smiled at him “ wait you two know each other?” Hanji interjected leaning over across the table. To think he’d meet you here less than a couple of hours later, was it mere coincidence? either way, he was grateful he had forgotten his umbrella that day.
“We met in the rain” you smiled at him
“Briefly” he added

Midnight Tears
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Summary : Levi doesn’t understand why the reader acts cold towards him, until he finds them crying. (gender-neutral)
Tumblr media
When you first joined the Survey Corps and Levi’s squad, Levi had noticed how you had acted around the other comrades. You laughed at their jokes and participated in conversations but as soon as it came to him you’d give him the cold shoulder.
He remembers as clear as day when you first met, you were quiet and you had vaguely introduced yourself, you never marvelled at his skills or kill and assists count. You followed orders and were never a problem to him. You rarely engaged in conversation with him and he was under the impression that you didn’t enjoy his company.
You intrigued him and he soon without even realising it began to notice all the little things about you from the way your hair blew in the wind or the subtle laugh you’d let out when someone from the squad said something funny. He had even noticed how you kept to a specific routine. He developed a fondness for you but he was sure it wasn’t close to being mutual.
Levi walked the halls taking one last lap before heading for his office however, he caught a glimpse of you sitting on the floor in the hallway across from your dorm room with your head in your arms. It was late and you were supposed to be in bed like the others. “Oi...” he approached you to force you to go to bed.
You lifted your head and tears had grazed your cheeks, your glistening eyes widened as you recognized Levi standing a few feet away from you. He was the last person you wanted to see you like this. You quickly stood up and headed for your dorm door. You wiped your watery eyes with the sleeve of your shirt, you already knew what he was going to say “ I know, you don’t have to tell me” you said in a cool tone.
As you walked away Levi grabbed your arm, it was a split decision he made without realising what he was doing. You turned to face him evidence of shock plastered on your face “ Do you want to talk about it?”
The tears started flowing more freely and you moved closer to place your head on his shoulder. Levi stiffened, he wasn’t sure how to comfort you and was more surprised you were being vulnerable with him. As your tears soaked his jacket, he lightly patted your back.
Few seconds that felt longer then they should have passed by, when you abruptly pushed him away, realising how your wave of emotion had caused to act towards your captain. “Sorry-I-I don’t know what I'm doing” you said breathlessly. He brushed off your apology and softly grabbed your wrist to prevent you from running away like a scared squirrel.  “Don’t be sorry, what’s the matter?” You stared into his eyes looking for a reason not to trust him, and you waited for the feeling that you would regret opening up later.
He let go of your wrist his hand falling to his side, the coolness leaving your skin. The feeling never came. “How do you do it?”  You cast your eyes downward your hands gripping the pants of your uniform. “ How do you live with the guilt, the nightmares?”  His eyes softened as he remembered feeling how you felt right now. He didn’t want you to feel this way but he knew it was inevitable in the world you lived in, “ You don’t, it doesn’t go away, it just becomes something you get used to, none of it’s your fault either”. “ we just have to live for those who didn’t get the chance...” You nodded at his words and the tears had stopped flowing.
“I’ll make you some tea” he suddenly spoke up and proceeded to walk off. You watched as he walked away until he stopped and glanced over his shoulder “ are you coming?”. You walked swiftly to catch up to him. You trailed behind him wondering if this was the right choice.
“ Why do you hate me so much?” he asked as he handed you a warm cup of tea and lowered himself next to you on the sofa. You noticed the distance, he was so close that if you moved your leg slightly to the left it would bump his. you pulled your legs closer together, your knees pressed up against each other and your feet forming a triangle with the tips of your boots touching.
You held the cup with both hands letting the warmth embrace your hands. “ I don’t hate you...” you sipped the tea feeling the liquid warm up your insides. Levi narrowed his eyes at you, “ Then what’s with the cold attitude with me all the time?”. You took a deep breath and silence filled the room. You tapped the cup with your fingers anxiously.
You weren’t sure if this was the right time but you decided if you were to die tomorrow you wouldn’t want any regrets. "I was afraid you’d think I was weak, I thought that if I didn’t treat you like all the other cadets had, maybe I’d be able to get your attention” You laugh awkwardly “ Sounds pretty stupid I know... I just wanted to be important or to be remembered...” He listened to you attentively and you glanced towards the dark liquid in your cup sighing “Its selfish of my to push my feeling onto you like this but I wanted to be more than just a cadet to you.”
He shifted closer to you and lightly pulled your head into his chest, "Stupid brat you had my attention the minute you stepped through my door.”

Clueless Together
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Summary: The reader is clueless about their feelings towards Levi until Hanji points it out to the reader. (gender-neutral)
Tumblr media
Even though you always seemed to be at each other's throats, in some weird way Levi found it comforting to be around you even though he found your attitude and witty remarks annoying. However today you were unusually quiet and it put him on edge.
No matter the order or chore he gave you, you had obediently complied without a single complaint and a dazed expression, you had also been avoiding eye-contact. Something was wrong, but he couldn’t bring himself to ask what was bothering you.
he was seated in his office, you seated across from him helping him out with some paperwork. The air was quiet the only sound meeting their ears were that of pens scribbling and papers being flipped over. This was new and much different to the loud and bubbly atmosphere you brought wherever you went.
He finally decided to speak “ Cat got your tongue today?” he didn’t need to look up at you to know you had thrown a glare in his direction, “you're quiet today”, his eyes still turned toward the papers in front of him as he spoke to you. “ are you trying to provoke me?” you answered curtly, the venom dripping from your tone almost unnoticeable. He knew you better than that and he knew that even if you weren’t entirely yourself today there were things about that would never change.
“ you’re just acting out of character is all.” he played off his concern like he wasn’t interested but in reality, he was trying to understand why you were behaving this way. “why? miss my witty attitude? afraid you’ll never find someone to challenge your sarcasm?” you smirked at him.
your subtle flirting wasn’t new either and occasionally you'd throw in a flirty comment now and then but with your current state today he honestly wasn’t expecting it. Levi was very good at controlling his emotions and although he never gave in to your flirting he couldn’t say he didn’t enjoy it.
“of course not, its been peaceful” he brushed off your comment. you narrowed your eyes at him, him not making eye-contact before continuing with your assigned duties. An awkward silence had fallen between you two but it seemed Levi was the only one who was affected by it.
you continued to work in silence until the sun began to set turning the sky an orange hue. Levi had dismissed you for the night and he was left alone in his office to gather his thoughts. Yet even with all that thinking he still couldn’t understand what could be wrong with you, it was like you had changed overnight.
He let out a frustrated sigh and decided to take a walk to clear his head. On his way back however he noticed you from afar having a serious conversation with Hanji, although he couldn’t hear what you were saying, from what he knew about you there was no doubt you were complaining about something.
You and Hanji spent a lot of time together it wasn’t even farfetched to say you two were best friends. He knew you confided in Hanji a lot more then you confided in him, so he wouldn’t be surprised if they knew things about you that he didn’t. It made him quite nervous, he was afraid that Hanji might have accidentally told you about his fondness for you, he didn’t want to cause complications.
You had suddenly gasped raising your hands in defence and shaking your head and rushed off to bed. The event puzzled him, had he done something wrong? He eventually decided that he wasn’t going to figure out what was wrong with you tonight and he’ll just ask you tomorrow.
The previous night's thoughts went out the window when he saw you the next morning, he greeted you as usual but when he turned to you, you made an expression he’d never seen you make.
Your cheeks were dusted pink and your eyes were glued to the floor as you quietly returned the greeting. Genuinely concerned for your health he took a step towards you and placed the back of his hand against your forehead to check your temperature. “ are you sick?” he asked concerned. It would explain the sudden change in your behaviour but your cheeks only reddened at his actions. Even more flustered then before you knocked his hand away from your forehead “n- n- no” you were a stuttering mess. unsure how to react or handle the situation you bolted out the door leaving him more confused then yesterday.
He hadn’t seen or heard from you all day. Even if he didn’t show it he was worried about you and your lack of communication with him was pissing him off. Anybody who came into contact with him was either death-glared or reprimanded.
While he was doing training drills with the newer scouts you and Hanji passed by his field of vision, he quickly issued them with laps and went in the direction he last saw you. He was fed up with the current situation. Just as he was about to turn the corner he heard you talking to who he presumed to be Hanji. He wasn’t one for eavesdropping and he never really cared what you two spoke about but he just wanted to understand what in the world was going on.
“What do I do now Hanji...?” you wined causing him to roll his eyes, this was so typical of you always causing trouble and then wining about the consequences. “ well what exactly is going on?” his assumption correct when he heard Hanji’s voice. “ I don’t know Hanji ever since you said that ridiculous thing to me last night I get this weird feeling around Levi, I feel this anxious feeling in my chest and I feel really hot but I don't have a fever” Hanji’s chuckle rang through his ears and his heart rate picked up. “ You have feelings for shorty” “ Jeez Hanji!” you began to shush them “Not so loud if people hear you they’ll spread rumours” Levi was shocked beyond compare his thoughts were messy and his mind jumped into every scenario under the sun “ Are you sure is not a heart condition or something because...” the conversation seemed to continue but he didn’t stay to hear anymore as he was sure him being the topic of that conversation wasn’t meant for his ears.
Later that day when the sun was just about ready to start setting. A knock on his door pulled Levi’s attention away from the paperwork he was drowning his thoughts out with. “come in” he muttered. He was astonished to see you slip into the room, he didn’t expect to see at all for the rest of the day.
You awkwardly stood quite a distance from his desk. He put his pen down to focus on you. he vividly remembered Hanji’s words from earlier and grimaced at the distasteful nickname they'd given him.
He spoke first as it didn’t seem you were going to say anything anytime soon. “ where were you today ?” he questioned his eyes trained on you as you looked everywhere except him.
You took a deep breath before answering “ The doctors... turns out I may have an underlying heart condition” you nervously laughed. He stared at you deadpanned not sure if you were being serious or trying to be funny. Either way your words warmed his heart and he’d never let you know but he had the same underlying heart condition except you were the root of his.
