I went with a soft shading approach this week instead of cel shading. Applied some focused lighting as well. It was fun expanding my experimenting with this piece!

InuKag ❤️ - with this being finished, I was motivated on getting quotes for how much a small batch of stickers will cost to print. Would you be interested in custom laptop stickers, magnets and keychains?

I needed to add this pair to my portfolio. I have been motivated lately to draw these two because of the wonderful fan content being shared by all you wonderful and equally contributed IY fans.

- This one did not take me too long! Was proud of the time I put into it and result!

Nezuko Fan Art

Been working on a Nezuko Illustration the last few days, been taking my time with this one as I want to get the tones and shadows right. Practicing drawing has really paid off, and I leveled up my skill by 50.🤣 What a way to end off the year! I started drawing again in March after a 10 year hiatus. I can say I am incredibly happy with this!

Kagome:

"I love you as a half demon, InuYasha!"

I wanted to portray InuYasha more in control, hugging Kagome. Inspiration came from the 2nd movie. Reference was used for the forearm position and Kagome's head placement. Kagome's hair may have taken my the longest, and InuYasha's I was just indecisive. There was a long strand on the top of his head, but I removed it.

The inspiration didn't come to mind until after I began rough sketching, it reminded me of them in the second movie.

After this cel shading take, I am contemplating the black and white manga approach, lol. Maybe to just expand my poses and get more work completed quicker.

What do you think, have I improved? 😁

Hello! - I am fairly new here and would like to share more on this platform. I am open for Art Trades! - Send me a message! . Been awhile since I committed to something. I can really see the improvements with my art in this piece, continued with my obsession of thick comic lines and stuck with the cel shading. Reference was used for the pose as my mental library is weak. I changed the hand pose, facial features and of course his gorgeous hair. I am sure there is a more effective way to coloring this than hand drawing in all the sharp lines, lol. Learning as I go!
