My name is Rain or Sawyer, either is fine :) I’m a 21 year old mossy guy who primarily lives in the forests (in my mind at least)!
I dabble in every medium and I’ve tried just about every creative outlet there is. Some stuck and some didn’t but I’ll revisit things sometimes too!
“Each unfinished project is not a failure, it’s a learning experience. Continue to dream, continue to try.”
Themes you’ll see! Soft and cutesy animals in clothes, lots of plants and nature (and I mean LOTS), positivity and mental health talk sometimes, prop art, scenery and character art, and possibly other things!
I do commissions and I’m working on my website where I’ll have a catalogue of comm options. For now, please message me if you’re curious about getting a commission. They’re OPEN!
More below! Just random tidbits about myself! 🌿
Here’s some fun facts about me since you wanted to see more!
I own 2 leopard geckos! I love reptiles a ton and I also have a senior dog. I just love animals.
I’m slowly building my wardrobe and I’m leaning into forestcore themes!
I adore plants and flowers but cannot keep any alive… I enjoy wild ones more anyhow!
I’ve started lots of projects in the past and some were successful! One was a video game. (But I’d rather not talk about it nowadays.)
I’m 🌻 transgender!! 🌾 and very neurodivergent. I also deal with severe dissociation (and a plethora of things caused by that) and bad joints.
I use he/it pronouns but I know the it/it’s feel odd to folks. I just like to see myself as a creature, an entity or even a feeling sometimes rather than a person. It’s a spiritual thing, you could say!
A small animation I did a few days ago. Yes! I animate too. I'd love to do more but I'm not sure I have patience for such things haha! We'll see though
I had the pleasure of printing and hand cutting a bunch of note cards featuring my artwork for potentially displaying in a local boutique! Super exciting!!
I went on a hike yesterday and took a photo of these precious little buds on this small bush. They were so cute and intricate. They were this beautiful peachy pink color too! I was excited to study and paint them!
A small sneak peek into this coming Saturday's The Weekly Occurrence paper. Wallace (My character) took this photograph of the mysterious flowers outside the town library.
