Finished reading Jasmine Guillory’s debut novel. I had decided to pick up this one after having read her follow-up novel, The Proposal. Although I liked the second book’s plot better, The Wedding Date will not fail to give you the feels over Alexa and Drew. If you are a huge romantic comedy fan and is just not satisfied enough with the slew of rom-com films in recent years, then this novel is definitely for you! I was never much into romance novels (because I agree, they do not always have the greatest plots and characterization), but The Wedding Date will definitely fulfill your light-read craving... and make you wonder, how is it not a Netflix movie yet?
