I don't know if that is really the source, but the "forgive me" in the end of Just a Man from Epic the musical reminds me of the "forgive me" when Odysseus throws Astyanax off the walls of Troy in the show Troy: Fall of a City, and I absolutely love it.

I love how in "Aaron Burr, Sir", Laurens, Lafayette and Mulligan ask Hamilton for his name and he doesn't answer, and yet in "My Shot" they all spell it out perfectly in synchronization.

Can someone please write a fanfic about the Hamilton-Burr duel being Elizabeth Schuyler's idea as a revenge on Alexander for cheating on her?

Like, she goes and asks Aaron Burr to initiate a duel between him and Alexander so Alex will think he's close to death and realise how much Elizabeth actually means to him and how much he regrets hurting her (as sort of a near-death epiphany, like what happens in the end of The World Was Wide Enough), and Aaron isn't supposed to actually shoot, but something crazy and unexpected happens and he accidently does shoot Alexander.

Can someone please put this in writing and tag me?

Hear me out!

A non-romantic ship of John Laurens and Angelica Schuyler getting married.

Angelica is Laurens's cover for his homosexuality, and John is the son of Henry Laurens, who was a very rich and respected man.

That way, Angelica marries a rich, well-known man and makes her father happy, and John marries a woman and makes his father happy.

And, because they are officially and legally married to each other, Angelica can voice her opinions publicly since she has even more money and power than when she was "just" a Schuyler sister (I know it didn't really work that way, and that women were ignored and their opinions were dismissed regardless of their stature, but bear with me for the sake of the plot), and John can be going out with men and nobody will know (nobody will out him, since they'll have to out themselves by doing so, and nobody wanted anyone to know they're gay back then), and they'll both be satisfied (pun intended).

Plus, they'll spend their nights sitting in front of the fireplace with blankets talking about Alexander's dreamy eyes.
