This is Kid! They're a faun who's been raised by a shepherd, and by "raised" I mean he chucked Kid with his goats (and gave them slacks to wear) and socialized them just as much as you can expect from a mountaineer. Yet, Kid loves life! They built their own instruments and sings the song of their people (the goats), frolics up and down the slopes and occasionally faints. I love them to bits.

Hey there.

I'm in then process of going through my blog and I came across an Arcane piece you posted on July 9th, 2022. It's Silco in a tender moment with an OC when she reveals her mastectomy scars.

I was moved to tears back then, but in the shuffle of life forgot about it. February of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Seeing this piece again hit me in a whole new way.

I just wanted to pop into your inbox and say thank you for the visibility and representation of the ways in which cancer complicates life and intimacy while also creating the space for acceptance.

Gosh, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Nobody should. It's hard to find words and I'm just a well meaning stranger on the internet who did a sketch, but for what it's worth I am grateful that that sketch brought you a modicum of relief. Hugs and even more hugs.

P.S. Once upon a time Tumblr allowed askbox messages to be answered privately, but I can't find that option anymore? Maybe it's a mobile thing? Anyway if you don't want this to be posted publicly just shoot me a message and I'll remove it

UPDATE ON THE SHOP

Redbubble took the design down. On a second thought, maybe naming the design The Mighty Nein and having it written on the graphics on top of that was kinda like asking for copyright infringement. Anyways, luckily my other designs weren't touched, so maybe get yourself a sticker?

As promised less than 12 hours ago, I slapped the Mighty Muppets on Redbubble SO. FAST. I hope whoever wants gets to grab a tshirt in time for the London Live Show. I know I will try to get me one. I really hoped I completed this earlier, but it turns out cartoonish flat designs are not as easy as they seem! Anyway, like Laura Bailey said in the delivery room: "It is done".
