Somewhere, someday I’ll find the one who makes the journey worth the pain.

Completed my first Bang! *sigh of relief* This all started with a summary about two lonely souls in a post-apocalyptic world, who found each other by sending messages via pigeon. I was planning to do a more story driven comic… but it took a turn for the silly and whimsical. I blame it entirely on the pigeons, they kinda hi-jacked my art. Actually made a few more pieces for this, along the way… but pared it down to what worked best. And that’s what you see here. Might go back and retool the extras, at some point in the future. Thank you for looking and hope you enjoy.

I know I haven't been posting much, but there's a reason... been working on art for my first bang!!! Here's a little preview. Be sure to check out all the other talented writers and artists.

Artist: IzzyMcFly Title: Somewhere # of pieces: 1, so far. The other pieces are about halfway done. CW: N/A Creative Process: I started out doing pencil sketches, but quickly switched over to digital. Drew a lot of different pieces along the way and have slowly been trying to put them together in a coherent manner, to tell a story. But I keep adding things, still trying to whittle it all down. This is one of the newer pieces I created and I’m really digging the direction it’s going. I was thinking about the distance between them, when I drew this, and the song that came to mind was “Somewhere Out There” from An American Tail. What was once very literal, is becoming a bit more fanciful and I love that.

Suptober Day 10 : Crossover

Welcome to Mister Novak's Neighborhood! Take a Journey in Baby, the Impala, to the Bunker of Make-Believe. Here you can hang out with Dean the Tiger and Friends, while they fight off their monsters and demons.

Finally felt inspired, this idea came about because of a conversation about current children's programming. Which made me think about one of my favorite shows as a kid. And then I just really wanted to draw Cas in a Mr. Rogers sweater. Almost tempted to call this "Cas, get out of my ass!" Lol.

Been busy working on art for my first Bang, so I don't have anything new to share. But here are some side-by-sides of how much progress I've made in my people drawing. About two months between the Cas's, only a month between the Deans. Drawing everyday is really paying off.
