Hi there! I’m huge into plastic canvas crafts but I have an issue with yarn fraying and getting fuzzy, I noticed how neat your pieces are and was wondering what kind/brand of yarn you used or if there’s a technique you use?

I use Caron, I Love This Yarn, and Yarn Bee primarily. They are all super soft and good quality in my opinion. I also use Red Heart occasionally, but it's not as soft as the others.

No, the pattern is not mine, but the pattern is at the bottom of the post if you want to save it. It is the picture that's laid out on a graph. I use that as my pattern. It's super simple if you remember that one square equals one stitch. I don't know if it's available to buy anywhere, I just found the picture on Pinterest and saved it. I've never paid for a pattern.

Son of Man

Completed between Feb. 3 - Feb. 24, 2022.

Son of Man by Rene Magritte is one of my boyfriend’s favorite paintings, so I made him this mini version on plastic canvas. I had to tweak the colors slightly from the original pattern because I didn’t have the right yarn colors, but I think it turned out okay and he loves it.
