Life is Hard, Yo.

I started out with 90 days of summer, now here I am with only 28 left. Where did they all go? Was I wasting my summer not doing what I wanted to do? I had so many plans that I did not complete. 28 days until I have to do another year of long-distance relationship. That’s the hardest thing. I am so not ready to say goodbye to the ones I love to go to a new place where I do not know anyone or my way around. I am going to be a sophomore this year, but I have transferred so I am scared. It’s like my freshman year didn't even happen, and that’s what scares me the most. I lost so many connections to old friends last year, will that happen again this year? Will I still have so much anxiety when I have tests coming up that I just want to drop out? Or will it be better. Will I feel like I’m losing the love of my life because of my insecurities and long-distance? I am hoping for the best, and I think it will be better. Maybe, just maybe.

A Rant on People that Breath Loudly

For someone that breaths quietly and only laughs loudly when someone tells an extremely funny joke, people laughing or breathing very loudly to me is very annoying. Like seriously, you dying over there? It legit sounds like someone is hyperventilating, and don’t get me started on the loudness. If you’re going to laugh, talk, or even BREATH loudly, please do it somewhere where you won’t be annoying. Please, and thank you. :)

“Back To You” by Louis Tomlinson and Bebe Rexha: A Review

Louis Tomlinson’s second debut single after exiting boy band One Direction, “Back to You,” was released today, July 21, 2017. Today was also the debut of Harry Styles’ film, “Dunkirk.” Was it a coincidence that these two were released on the same day, or was it intentional? “Back to You” has a whole new direction for Tomlinson. The song is explicit, which takes a very different tone than One Direction’s normal, clean pop music. The song opens up with Bebe Rexha, then to Tomlinson, then they sing together. Digital Farm Animals also makes an appearance in this single. I am very excited to see what Louis has to offer in the next couple of months, and even years. He has an exceptional voice, and has finally found his style. Congrats, Louis. It’s an amazing song.

“All That Remains” by Patricia Cornwell REVIEW!

Hello everyone! Book review time! I’m in a novels class at school, and the first book that we had to read was “All That Remains” by Patricia Cornwell. I really liked this book. It was a good start to the class, because this trimester we’re reading all mystery and horror books. This book really met the titles of mystery and horror. I was very interested while reading this book. Cornwell gives it a sense of urgency to read it, because I was always reading ahead to find out what was happening. This book kept me on the edge of my seat while I was reading it, and I would suggest it to any mystery and horror book fan. This is the third novel of Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta books, and I would really love to read the whole series of the books. Definitely adding this book to my top books of all time!

Christmas

Christmas is defined in the dictionary as the annual festival of the Christian church commemorating the birth of Jesus: celebrated on December 25 and now generally observed as a legal holiday and an occasion for exchanging gifts. It may only be defined as this, but Christmas is so much more than just exchanging gifts. It’s about spending time with the ones you love, and many people in this world can’t be with the ones the love this Christmas. A lot of people have also lost a lot of loved ones in 2015, and this will be the first Christmas without them. It’s going to be extremely hard, but you can do it. I’ve lost two amazing friends in the past year, and it’s going to be hard for me, but I know that they’re up in Heaven smiling down on me for everything I do, and I strive every day to be better for them and for the people that I love and care about on this world. Christmas isn’t just a time for exchanging gifts, it’s also about telling the people that you love that you love them before it’s too late and you can’t tell them anymore. Christmas to me is spending time and appreciating the ones you love the most. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. God Bless.
