Resident vampire hunter and his vampire yapper friend take the world by storm (the world is me I am the world I can’t get enough of drawing these guys)
I really miss the Trench era so I thought I’d do some art of Josh from the music videos released around that time. Made a couple changes to his outfit/design so I wonder if you’ll catch them!
tma sona because I keep seeing other people’s sonas on my dash! If you want, here’s some lore——> (TW for gore, cannibalism, suicide, and violence)
Mick Love was born sometime in the early 1800s in America and was son to an undertaker. He had a younger sister, Belle. His mother was an avatar of the Flesh and would steal bodies from his father’s place of work, or at least take small pieces of them. She would feed them to her family and they went unawares for several years.
After some time, though, Mick’s mother snapped and killed his father. She hid his corpse for days and fed her two children bits of him before Belle stumbled upon his body. Mick, who was nearly an adult at this point, fled with his sister.
Years pass, and Mick acts as the caregiver of Belle, who became mentally withdrawn after the realization she had been eating her own father. She ends up killing herself, but reanimates, now an avatar of the End. She gains the ability to steal life from others, similar to Tova McHugh. Mick ends up killing her after finding her having taken the life of a small child, and that’s when the urge to hunt becomes planted in him.
Mick starts to hunt his mother and while chasing her down, he stops aging, his body completely focused on the hunt. By the beginning of the 1900s, she has manifested a domain of a never ending butcher’s shop that is full of rotting meat. Mick successfully kills her and then continues to hunt cannibals, completely consumed by the hunt. This leads to the development of the ‘werewolf’ Mick will become.
Literally me. Like folie has completely changed the music game for me. I didn’t realize an album could feel so complete and so full of just wonderful lyrics, musicality, and overall replay ability. It has a little bit of everything I love from every album, even the newer stuff. It’s crazy how good it is.
folie a deux means so much to me,,,,,,,, there's so much to talk about when it comes to that album, the songs are all top tier, not a single skip, I know all the lyrics by heart, it's the only album that I genuinely do not get tired off, overplaying folie a deux does not exist, I have cried to this album, I have danced to this album, you can scream the lyrics when you're upset and you can scream the lyrics when you're happy,,,, there's so much to talk about when it comes to themes and lyrics and how the band went from distancing themselves from it to playing it at tourdust
