Guardians of The Land. Ren and Fraya are our dog-children on the land. Recently I’m going through some emotional clean-up and vibration fine tuning, because living in a conscious community we help each other grow so much and some of the deepest feelings can be brought to our awareness and be released. During this powerful healing experience I had not been able to fine my creative flow, until now! I’m slowing down the momentum of some of the old habitual thoughts by diving into my art practice. Once I got the inspiration started, I disciplined my focus into feeling excited about this painting, but relaxed enough to have no agenda for this painting to start with. The result is alignment and joy! Simple life. Besides doing site-analysis on the land, my other assignment is to make new signs for the community. I made a watercolor poster for the compost bin (we feed our chickens kitchen scraps) and some other road signs on wood. One of those nights Grace asked me to sketch her during our game of being silent for 30 minuets while high on ganja.
