Comforting you after a nightmare

Characters: Tohma/Thoma

Notes: !SPOILERS! This contains spoilers for the Inazuma quest. I recommend first doing the quest before reading this!!

On another note, I'm a huge Tohma simp (and Baal simp). I used the spelling 'Tohma' for this :]

Tohma/Thoma

The image of his vision being whisked away from his person flashed in your slumber as you sleep. The feeling of dread flickered within your mind, causing you to shift in your sleep. Ah yes, just a few days prior your lover, Tohma was captured by the Raiden Shoguns army, marking him the 100th vision to be taken by the archon, building upon her views of eternity. Thankfully the traveler rescued your boyfriend, vision in hand, and he was safe. But the whole ordeal was still planted in your brain. You were no stranger to the effects of one losing their vision, their ambition. Fragments of their memory are being taken with it as well. It caused you to wonder if the archon was successful in sizing Tohma's vision, erasing bits of his memory with it. Would he remember you?

The nightmare continues to take course in your mind, barely giving you a chance to recollect into a more peaceful state. For what felt like hours, the scene kept replaying and playing until it became unbearable. In a moment you found yourself awake, your brain was too hazy to register the time. Your heart was beating against your chest and your breathing grew heavy.

It was just a nightmare

Now, Tohma is a bit of a light sleeper, he's quick to his feet at the slightest of things, and it's only amplified ever since he was captured. In other words, the moment you're awake, he's awake. The first thing his eyes were searching for was if there was some sort of danger. After crossing out that possibility, his attention is immediately on his partner. In moments he's already aware of the situation.

" Y/n- are you alright? Did you have a nightmare?" His hands were going to embrace you, cradling you close to his chest. His shoulder is ready to cry on if you want

Whether you want to disclose the details of your nightmare is up to you. Tohma won't push any further if you wish to not speak of it. But, if you do, he's quick to reassure you of whatever is plaguing you, even sprinkling some jokes to coax some laughter from you.

He's pretty good at comforting people, and he can quickly make you feel at ease, whether it be with his hugs or little jokes

Brings you some snacks and some tea. As you take the moment to consume the goods given, his hand is rubbing comforting shapes on your back, whispering words of assurance, as he snuggles beside you. Sneaking in a few quick kisses to your forehead or temples

If you rather stay awake instead of going back to sleep, Tohma will sit beside you, the two of you drinking some tea waiting for the day to begin. Whether you want to engage in chit-chat is up to you

If you want to go back to sleep, Tohma will gladly curl up beside you, engulfing you into a big hug. His body radiates warmth due to his vision, which hopefully helps you fall asleep again or calm you

During these times, Tohma will ramble off as you try to sleep again. Distracting you from the nightmare, by telling you about his plans for the following day or a silly little scenario he came up with. He likes it when you also reply to him, engaging in a little conversation until you fall asleep. You slowly stop replying as you fall into slumber again, with a smile adorning on his lips.

Or if you prefer the atmosphere to be silent, he'll gladly cuddle with you in silence, his lips lingering to the crown of your head

Boy is always ready to comfort you in any situation

GUYS! I just a email back from tumblr support!! I'm no longer shadowbanned, my post are back up and everything!!

You breakdown in front of him

Characters; Xiao, Childe, Kaeya

Notes: I did these slighty different from how I normally do my hcs. These kinda got long (´ヘ｀()

It was interesting to experiment around with it and I'm kinda proud with how it turned out :)

Theres a blurb at the end of each one~!

- Xiao

You were missing him dearly

You were aware that Xiao would be leaving the inn for a while to deal with some Adepti duties. Before he left, he made you a promise that he'll return soon. What you weren't aware of was that soon wasn't going to be that soon

Weeks and a few more passed and you found yourself exploring the inn all by yourself, going to sleep by yourself and waking up to no one. It felt utterly lonely. Not to mention the stress that continued to build up within your system with worry for your boyfriend

Thankfully Verr was there to keep you reassured that Xiao was alright which eased you a bit but didn't fill that empty void. It was until one day you learned that he was returning the very next day-! You swore you were going to cry at that very moment, but alas you kept yourself composed and thanked Verr for the information.

The day came to a close and tomorrow became today. When you awoke, you kinda forgot about Xiao returning on that very day due to your sleepy state.

But you weren't ready for the surprise that would reveal itself the moment you opened your tired eyes.

There he was, standing in your room as he had just entered. His attention was fixed on something else, not noticing you had just woken. In the seconds that followed your drowsiness was gone in a snap and you were engulfed by crushing emotions at once. All the stress that had taken refuge within your troubled mind released

" Xiao!"

The call of his name caught the Adeptus off guard, bringing his attention back to the formerly sleeping figure. What he did not expect to see, however, was to see his lovers gaze distort into a sob as a choked cry left their lips

Before you could stop yourself, crystal-like tears poured from your eyes, dripping down your cheeks like rain before planting onto your shirt or blanket. You couldn't stop it, more uncontrollably sobs escaped you and soon the room was echoing in your cries

In an instant, he was rendered confused and panicked simultaneously. He doesn't know what to do either, personal comfort wasn't one of his specialties

" Y/n, why are you crying? You can tell me"

He nudges his face closer to you in a feeble attempt to calm you down. In his head, he's already speculating that you were hurt or someone hurt you. In which case he's ready to beat them up

" Did someone hurt you? What's bothering you?"

But those thoughts quickly disappear as you wrap your arms around him. Your face was pressed against his chest, you were growing increasingly shaky. A muttered sentence escaped your lips that caused the Adepti to feel an odd clenching feeling in his chest

" I- I just really miss you, Xiao! You were gone for so long, I got so worried. I'm sorry"

Why are you apologizing? Is the first thought that runs through his mind. On the outside, he's kinda just standing there as you sob but on the inside, it's a wild goose run. He's in a panic.

Xiao dislikes seeing you unhappy let alone crying, his favorite aspect of you is when you're happy. Such as your face. He loves seeing your features when you're happy. Your smile, eyes, and how they crinkle when you laugh. Seeing that aspect of you be morphed into a teary gaze causes his heart to drop. He tries all he can think of to make you feel better

Suddenly you feel a pair of firm arms embrace you.

" I'm here now. I won't leave you. I'll always be at your side through everything. Nothing can tear me away from you"

His hand is trying to comfort you by running his fingers through your h/c curls. A soothing little gesture he wishes could help make you feel better. His lips find their way to kiss you on the crown of your head.

Slowly your tears come to a stop, your face snuggling closer to him. His little attempts at soothing had done its magic. You felt your eyes closed as waves of exhaustion started to hit you again. Before you went unconscious you mumbled;

"Thank you"

Xiao starts to have a warm feeling pulsing in his chest, as you clung to him like a koala with the words you said previously ringing in his head. It was a curious feeling.

As he rested you down on the bed, placing the blanket over your form, he leaned over to press his lips to your head.

After you awake from your second slumber, Xiao is sure to stick by your side for the remainder of the day and the one following it

The next time you have a breakdown, he's sticking by your side no matter what. He helps dry your tears off and assures you that everything is going to be okay. He spends the rest of the time distracting you from it. Reminding you that you're strong and you will get through it.

" You're strong y/n, I know you'll get through this and I'll be there with you every step."

He promised to stick by your side through it all and he's not breaking it.

Xiao stumbled backward as your figure latched to him. He was rendered confused, as he struggled to comprehend the last few minutes that passed. He had just returned from a hefty mission and was greeted by the sight of his lover sobbing as their eyes landed on him.

Your arms were wrapped around him tightly as if you were afraid something was going to take him away again.

Hot uncontrollably tears continue to pour from your face, your features already puffing up from it, but that was the least of your concerns. Your focus at hand was your boyfriend. How long has it been since you last saw him? You lost count. But here he was now.

Words spilled out of your lips sheepishly, shakey forms of letters connecting to create a skewered sentence.

" I miss you so much, Xiao." The words choked out and your throat hitch as breathing became a struggle.

A pair of arms went to cradle you, it caught you off guard as you gasped. You felt a forehead lean against yours. The simple act almost spurred on more tears, he was really there.

" I'm here now, I won't leave you. I'll always be at your side through everything. Nothing can tear me away from you." He pressed a kiss to your forehead sealing his promise to you.

- Childe

It was an argument

You finish early with your commissions and head home to start dinner for you and your boyfriend. He told he had a lot of busy work today before he kissed you goodbye and so thought it be a nice surprise for your boyfriend to come to some dinner

The clock ticked down as night approached by the hour. You quickly finished cooking the meal and placed it at the table. The familiar sound of the door opening met your ears and you quickly went to greet your boyfriend

You were expecting to see your boyfriend's signature smile as he greets you. But- what you weren't ready for were the sharp eyes and irritated gaze pasted to his face. You swore his eye twitched the moment you came into his view. It was as if he was upset with you

No doubt about it, it was a long, tiring, and frustrating day at work.

You tried to greet him but you could tell he was a ticking time bomb, at any moment he would snap. You decided to keep quiet, minus the minor greetings and lay out his dinner for him. Childe said nothing in turn.

You went to grab a glass to pour him some water, but just as you went to grab the cup, your ankle gave in causing you to lose your footing momentarily. You didn't fall thankfully and got back on your feet. The same can't be said for the glass cup, it collided with the ground smashing in pieces.

That was enough to tick him off

He snapped out. Scolding you for being careless and for making a mess he'll have to clean up adding to the pile of work he already needs to stress about. He didn't hide his sharp words, each one puckered into your brain

Your feet were frozen in place. Your legs become wobbly as the room grew fuzzy. You could feel your chest growing tight as you struggled to take breaths of oxygen.

Then the tears

Childe instantly stopped the moment he saw the tears. he knew immediately that he went too far and he shouldn't have even snapped in the first place

Burning tears were falling down your face, splashing to the floor

And the guilt came crashing down on the Fatui Harbinger like Zhongli just dropped a boulder on him

" Y/n- I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled. Please don't cry."

He would hesitate whether he should approach you or not. He wants nothing more than to pull you into a hug and apologize repeatedly

More tears were running down your cheeks, your hands crept up in a feeble attempt to cover your face from him.

" I'm sorry" you choked out full heartily believing this was your fault.

" Y/n, it's not your fault. Love, please look at me, I didn't mean what I said- I promise. Please stop crying."

Those words were successful at soothing your sobs but they didn't stop your shaky legs from wobbling so much. You felt yourself losing your footing once more and you fell to your knees

In an instant Childe was by your side, his arms going to hold you cup your cheeks, using his thumb to wipe the tears off your face. Almost by instinct, your arms went to hug him, you pressed your head against his chest your breathing becoming heavy in an attempt to stop your aggressive sniffling

Childe whispered sweet nothings in your ear, his hand rubbing circles on your back. His lips are glued to your forehead. He has so much guilt and internally he's scolding himself.

His heart clenches whenever he hears your sniffle

" Everything is going to be okay, I promise you. I'll clean up the mess, don't worry about it, love."

After more of his sweet nothings, your sniffles die away, and you're left with in a tired and exhausted state

Childe helps clean up your face, his touches incredibly gentle as if you were made out of porcelain; softly caressing your cheeks while wiping the rest of your tears away with care

He carries you to your shared bedroom where he lays you down and allows you to get your rest. In the meanwhile, he's going to be punching himself all over, regretting his actions. Your scared expression is burned in his brain and he grimaces as he remembers how he acted. He swears to himself to never act out like that again

The following day you'll wake up to your boyfriend pampering you beyond no end. He takes you to fancy dinner, on a nice stroll. He pulls out all the cards hoping you'll forgive him

Whenever you have a breakdown Childe is there to spice up your day. He promises you that everything will be alright and that things will get better. Followed by many kisses and hugs that help soothe you back to your happy self

" Everything will be okay in the end, just you wait. I'm always here to help you every step of the way. Now please stop crying love, it hides your beautiful smile."

He loves your smile, and he'll fight anyone who threatens to take that away. including himself

What even coaxed this argument in the first again?

The question lingered in the Harbinger's head. He was mentally fighting himself over it. So much guilt swirled within him as he replayed the scene that unfolded moments before. It was a simple mistake on your part, but the way Childe acted, he doubts he'll ever forgive himself for it.

He held onto the shaking feeble body of his lover. Their head was towards the ground, hiding their face from Childe but he could already envision your scared expression; tears rolling down your puffy face as you struggled to take a single intake of breath. Your throat was throbbing from sobbing uncontrollably and the sniffles and hiccups that followed after.

The ginger gently cupped your cheek, bringing your face towards him. His heart dropped seeing your glossy e/c eyes. " Love, please look at me, I didn't mean what I said, I promise. Please stop crying." His finger cradled your tears, wiping your face slowly whilst his other hand drew shapes on your back.

You leaned closer to his hand, the little gestures soothing you quite a bit. A few more tears and hiccups escaped from you, the last of your crying coming to an end. Childe felt his chest clench as the corners of your lips curled slightly.

" Let's get you cleaned up."

- Kaeya

You had a nightmare

It was getting late and you had just finished eating dinner. Your day was filled with commissions that easily left you exhausted. All you want to do now is to collapse into your bed and rest.

Your boyfriend was caught up with some commissions, promising to be home soon. Usually, you'd wait until your boyfriend comes home, but your eyes were dropping uncontrollably. And you swore if you didn't do something soon you'll pass out right there.

And so you left some extra dinner in case Kaeya came home hungry and you set off to prepare for bed.

The moment your head hits the pillow it lights out.

It felt like hours had passed, your brain was fuzzy and unable to comprehend what was happening. You were shifting in your sleep, your face morphing into one of discomfort. It was clear you were in distress.

Suddenly, you jolted awake. Your breathing was heavy as panting, you could feel your heart racing against your chest. Sweat was rolling down your forehead, and you felt your chest tighten with each passing second. No doubt you were having a nightmare. A very livid one at that

You hadn't even realized that tears rolled down your face until you went to rub your eyes. You were crying. As more seconds passed more of your panic started to rise.

A choked sob left your lips as you struggled to keep quiet, your boyfriend was still asleep beside you.

In an attempt to not wake Kaeya, you went to leave to another room where you could sob to yourself but as you went to get up you felt something grab your shoulder.

" Y/n, are you alright? Why are you crying, love?" Kaeya's tired voice muttered.

Internally you scolded yourself for waking him.

" Uh, I just need some fresh air." You semi lied

Kaeya saw right through that, and in an instant, he pulled you into a hug, and suddenly you found yourself sobbing into his shoulder. Uncontrollably tears pouring from your face, dripping down and soaking his nightshirt.

In an instant, Kaeya was trying to soothe you. A comforting hand was drawing shapes on your back, whilst the other was running through your hair very gently

" It's alright, cry it out. Everything will be okay." He whispered into your ear.

More sweet nothings followed, slowly calming you down again. Less and fewer tears fell from your glossy eyes and drowned into sniffling as the last of your crying came to an end

You snuggled closer to his chest, listening to his heardrowneas it lulled you to a calmer state. Soon you were returning to your natural self, your shakiness ceasing.

" I promise everything is going to be alright. I'm right here love, I'm not going anywhere."

You stayed like that for a while until eventually, you fell asleep in his arms. You didn't have any more nightmares

In the morning he's gonna be very affectionate and cuddly, lots of butterfly kisses, and hugs. They're coming and you can't stop them

Whenever you have a breakdown, Kaeya is quick to act, he doesn't tease instead he reassures you that everything is going to be alright. (internally he's in a panic, unsure what to do when his partner is crying) He makes sure you take breaks throughout the day and enough rest.

" It's okay to take breaks y/n. You're strong, you'll get through, I just know it."

Another boy who loves your smile, please smile for him

Sobs and sniffles escaped your lips becoming muffled by the fabric of Kaeya's shirt. Tears dripped down your puffy and red flushed face, rolling down and staining both his and your own nightclothes.

It was a nightmare that caused this. It was still fresh in your mind, every little detail prominent and defined. You squeezed your eyes shut, snuggling your face closer to his chest trying to shut it out. In an instant Kaeya arms tighten around you in an embrace.

His lips rested near your ear, sweet nothings rolling off his tongue with each sob you cried. It was comforting. His voice slowly pulled you into a calm state and with each word of affection, the less you cried.

" It's alright, cry it out. Everything will be okay." He whispered. His hand continued to draw shapes and lines on your back, his other gently cradling your head against his shoulder.

Your shakey form slowly ceased and the sound of your sniffles died away until it was just your breathing that was heard.

A sweep of drowsiness washed over you, your eyes growing heavy.

Kaeya laid you down and placed the blanket over your form before leaning to press a chaste kiss to your forehead.

" Good night <3"

Enemies to lovers, you're both on opposing sides fighting for opposite causes. It started with battles between the two, fighting with all wits and skills. Every week you find yourself sparring with the Fatui Harbinger aiming to beat the other and every week you find yourself growing enthralled by him. Childe always kept you on your toes, testing your limits and giving you a thrill whenever you fought. It's strange, you're supposed to hate him, so why do you miss him so much?

Opposites attract, you both having nothing in common, your personalities reflect each other like a mirror. Complete opposites. He's a cunning man not afraid to test his limits, you're a shy and timid person keeping to yourself. You both meet by chance and it becomes a wild goose chase from there.

- Albedo

Stuck together, you both prepared for the journey to dragonspine, but despite how much you prepared you weren't ready to find yourselves stuck in a cave. It'll be hours until a rescue party retrieves you and the only things you got are food, sleeping bags, and each other. With each hour that passes, Albedo becomes more curious of you. As for yourself, you start to uncover more about the mysterious Albedo, breaking away his stoic walls. Perhaps being stuck in a cave isn't that bad after all

Secret Billionaire, Albedo dislikes being treated as high and mighty, becoming pestered with the never-ending questions of his findings as an Alchemist. He goes out in secret and meets you by chance. You treat him like any other normal person, oblivious to his high status. Albedo felt like himself around you, so he kept you close without revealing his true identity. What will happen once you figure out he was the Billionaire Alchemist who changed the world with his research?

- Diluc

Friends to lovers, you've known each other since you were children. Both of you went through hell and back, dealing with the mishaps life threw at you. You could always rely on the other and have seen each other at your lowest points. After the death of his father, Diluc felt as if you're the only one who understood him. He was your closest friend and you to him. It was an unbreakable bond- But what will happen after one of you catches feelings?

Coffee Shop au, set in a modern au. Diluc Ragnvindr was known as being one of the greatest baristas in the city of Mondstadt. Many people enter his shop every day to get a taste of his signature coffee. One day, you entered the coffee shop for the very first time. He could feel his heart suddenly flutter as you ordered- everything about you captivated him. You became a regular and the more times you visit the more Diluc starts to harbor feelings. You're his number one favorite customer, hoping for the day he could finally talk to you without being behind the counter.

- Kaeya

Drunk Confession, you both head to the tavern after a successful mission. Drink after drink your brains started to grow foggy and your ability to think was hindered. Kaeya finished up the last of his drink, his attention turning back to you. With no hesitation, words rambled from his mouth, words that caused your heart to skip a beat. He had just confessed his true feelings for you and your emotions are buzzing around along with the alcohol. The question still stands; what will happen when you're both sober?

Fake Relationship, it was a game, nothing more than two friends pretending to be each other's partners. Kaeya acted as your boyfriend, and you played along with your part, no true feeling being harbored. But as more time passes playing the false narrative, it starts to toy with your real emotions. What's this warm feeling in your chest? It's just a game. Right….?

- Zhongli

Secret Billionaire, in an au where Archons don't need to beg the traveler for money. Zhongli was known as a consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor with a keen understanding of history. It's a confusing and frustrating experience as you both battle with your emotions. Will someone ever confess or forever live in ignorance as your hearts continue to beat for each other?

Soulmates, you were destined to be together. But Xiao didn't want it, he would much rather be alone. Meanwhile, you had just found out that out of the billions you could have matched with, you were fated with someone who didn't even want your love. But who is one to play with fate? After many frustrations, long and painful buildups of trust, you soon learn that out of the billions, you two are the only ones who make each other whole.

- Venti

Love at First Sight, it must have been fate. You never believed in love at first sight, it easily made you laugh. And yet there you stood as you locked eyes with his green-blue ones for the first time, your heart skipping a beat. As for Venti, he felt as if his world froze the moment his eyes landed on yours. The only sound he could hear was the drumming rhythm of his heart. In an instant, you both knew you were in love.

Forbidden Love, another curse of being an archon. Venti has already experienced the pain of loss firsthand, he wishes to never bear it again. Even when first meeting you, he was cautious, careful to not allow his heart to be broken again. But you were different, and Venti wanted to be with you. He tried his hardest to push aside those feelings, but every time he sees your smile he's falling for you all over again. Perhaps in another life, he'll be able to experience love.

Diluc

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

Diluc is a very down-to-earth person, he mainly focuses on the present and tries to leave the past behind despite how haunting it could be at times. And same can apply for the future

Though he won't lie, whenever you two are together his mind does slip into the realm of possibilities. It's in moments where you could be doing the most mundane things such as helping him close up after opening hours came to an end. Seeing you put so much effort just for him causes him to wonder about a possible future with him. Ofc the redhead will never admit that aloud, that's his little secret.

But it's also in moments where he allows you to see him vulnerable, it really shows the amount of trust he has in you. Never before did Diluc believe he would find someone to trust the way he does with you after all the trauma he's endured. With a squeezing sensation being felt in his chest, he can't help but imagine you being there for the rest of his life, he makes various promises to himself to protect you with all his power in the hopes he can live that dream someday

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

If there was something Diluc dislikes more than his brother it's fighting with his s/o.

Unfortunately, fights can be quite often in your relationship much to Diluc's (and yourself) dismay. Most of the causes are just frustrations bottling within him and the cork pops off

Whenever there's a fight between you two, Diluc will try to remain cool in the situation and doesn't resort to yelling unless it's very serious or if you start raising your voice he'll raise his as well but it never gets that loud. If in a situation where it does lead to screaming levels(which is incredibly rare), Diluc will begin to cool the atmosphere down.

Don't take any of the fightings to heart, he's just really tired from his double life as batman, and peeved from work. And as he leaves the room, saying he "needs to cool off", you can see in his eyes that he's really just tired.

After a fight ensues between you two, you both go to cool off. You head off to do your own thing while Diluc would vent out his frustrations with his claymore; slaying down monsters and playing the dark knight hero. He blames himself a lot during these hours, and people take notice of it too.

In most situations you'll have to apologize first, the reason being Diluc wants you to first cool down and approach him when you're ready to talk it out. And when you finally get to talking it out, it's more of a longggg cuddling session of him apologizing in turn. You both end up passing out in the process, being lovely cradled in each other's arms. It becomes a very tiring day whenever you two fight which in the end leads to cuddles and a good nights rest

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Diluc is very reserved when it comes to physical forms of affection. More enhanced when it comes to the public eye, however, the more as your relationship goes on the more walls he breaks away

Most kisses are hidden behind closed doors, sealed away from the world. He wants to be able to take his time with the kiss and not rush it as he would if you two were public(hell, getting a peck is the most you're really getting in public).

He loves you very much, and it's reflected by his actions of words. Whilst he enjoys cuddling above all, his kisses hold the hidden meaning of his love for you. His kisses are always passionate and sensual, with a lot of emotions behind every single one. It's teeth rotting of how soft he can be

In public, kisses are quick, simple pecks on your cheek or the back of your hand. How chivalrous

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Master Diluc is stoic as ever. He remains his calm exterior and keeps himself composed. From a blind eye, it can easily be mistaken that Diluc wasn't interested in anyone.

However, those who are around the young master daily may start to notice some shifts in his behavior after a while(cough Kaeya cough). They notice how he almost immediately flickers his attention to you whenever you walk into a room. Or how observant he is when he talks of you, he's as if looking for your reaction towards everything you say. He's intrigued by you.

Oh and not to mention the mood change. Diluc becomes a lot calmer and less stoic than he naturally is whenever he finds himself talking to you. Some take notice of it.

After getting into a relationship with him, the signs are more visible to the public eye, he isn't necessarily hiding the fact you're together but isn't one to announce it to the world either. But people know he's in love with you.

I have no character limit for headcanons. Although please be considerate(3-5 works best with me)^^ I may add some characters to the request and there will be times I won't do all the characters you requested. Sometimes I do a blurb at the end ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ

For scenarios and drabbles I have a limit of 4 characters per post. Keep in mind these can be short. Most times it will be accompanied by some headcanons, as it helps me write them better. Please try keeping it simplified. ex: Taking care of you when you're sick, you have trouble sleeping, etc.

More specific and longer fic, such as this one, I have a max of one char. ^^

Characters such as Diona, Klee, and Qiqi will be written platonically only

I'm open to writing any characters within the game however these are the ones I'm more incline to do; Diluc, Childe, Zhongli, Xiao, Albedo, pretty much the main boys

Shy hugs

Characters; Albedo, Aether, Childe, Kaeya

I'm a sucker for cuddles.

Albedo

Albedo doesn't notice it at first. He first assumed that you weren't a very physical person when it comes to affection and he was okay with that. His own need for physical affection wasn't that high either

but it doesn't take long to notice that you had some shy tendencies and he saw the shift in your behavior almost immediately whenever you were looking for a hug but you were too shy to ask for one

The way you hesitate in your words or how you seem like you want to ask him something but your shyness was holding you back

He flat out asks you if something was bothering you, he even presented all the evidence, so nope you can't run from this. You must tell him of the cuddles you wish to have. You sheepishly admit that you really like hugs and cuddling but your shyness prevented you from being able to voice it

" I see, an interesting concept you've rbought to me. Please feel free to explain more"

Albedo is curious by your answer and would probably even take notes on your shyness. It's for research he claims but he's really just intrigued with every aspect of his partner, including their shyness. His uses these little notes to pinpoint whenever his partner wants something but there too shy to voice it

But he lets you know that you don't have to be nervous asking him. Even if he wasn't too high in physical affection, he would still gladly give you a hug

Going forward, he starts to look out for the little signs that you're craving a hug. And once he notices those tiny signals, he gets up from his desk putting aside his research documents, and pulls you into a hug. It's an unspoken thing but something that means a lot to you and Albedo won't lie, he may start to crave your hugs as well

Aether

He's a little shy too, poor baby gets flustered at the easiest of things

Aether really likes cuddles as well, and at some points, he initiates it himself because he's a little touch-starved and craves your touch

But he's also a little worried because he thought you didn't like cuddles that much. Now imagine his surprise when he learns that you actually love cuddles

Though he's probably oblivious to your shyness, he just thinks that you're not that much of a touchy person. And he respects your boundaries. He doesn't bring it up either, Aether doesn't want to come off as rude.

How he found out was all thanks to Paimon. Similar to Albedo, Paimon starts to notice the little things you do when you're craving a hug from Aether. Paimon has also noticed Aether's little shyness when it comes to it as well. Along with his obliviousness- And she points it out to him causally the next day

Aether kinda just goes "oh" and blinks

He tries to boost your confidence, reminding you that you can hug him whenever you like. He's not going to judge you! He really likes to cuddle too

" I promise I won't judge you, I really like hugs too y/n, dont hesitate to ask-!"

Aether finds your shyness to be adorable! After finding out that you like hugs, he started to give you a lot throughout the day. A morning hug before he leaves for a commission hug. Hey, I just picked some berries, wanna hug?

Cuddles and hugs become one of his favorites quickly

Childe

Pls, he probably won't even notice because he likes to cuddle with you all the time whenever he gets the chance. This also benefits you cause you're still getting cuddles

But somehow he still figures out, and man- he is a tease about it AND he is really sweet. In a very teasing voice, he would reassure you that you don't have to be shy about asking. Little words of encouragement slowly break you away from your shyness. But Childe always finds it really adorable too- He'll gladly indulge you with a hug, after all, he likes cuddling too. It's a win

" Ojou-chan, don't be shy~!"

But he'll never admit that your love for cuddles is a blessing for him. He could literally embrace you for hours if granted the opportunity. But he also just likes to be held by you. It is rare to see him vulnerable and he would only have complete trust in you to allow you to see in him such a state. In those moments he just wants a hug :(

He also takes note of little signals that hint you want a hug from him. And when he sees those hints he has a sly playful smirk

" Y/n do you want a hug from me~?" Due to your shyness, you get flustered whenever he calls. you out on it but he still gives you that hug in the end so you can't really argue.

Kaeya

He is a jerk about it

Teasingly like Childe but worse

You ended up telling your boyfriend how much you adore and love cuddling after you failed to muster up the courage to ask for some.

Comments about your shyness all the time whenever you try to tell him that you want a hug.

" You must really like my hugs, don't be shy y/n, I don't bite"

Kaeya just likes to see you flustered

But Kaeya also cares deeply about his lover, after some teasing comments and pools of blushes he'll give you the hug you want. He'll never actually make fun of you or make you seem weak/inferior because of your shyness

He adores it a lot and finds himself smiling whenever you shyly ask for some cuddles. He finds it cute!

Whenever he doesn't see you for long periods of time, except that the first thing he does when his eye lands on you is to pull you into a hug. " Did you miss me y/n?" He asks as he snuggles closer to you

Yes, he can be an ass about it, but in reality, he's sweet and will give you the cuddles you deserve.
