hey! so for those of you who didn’t already know, i currently live in Japan, where same-sex marriage is not yet legal. tomorrow afternoon, the Japanese Diet is having a hearing concerning same-sex marriage, and they’re “gauging interest” based on the viewership of the livestream. basically, if people don’t watch, they’ll just write off the issue as niche and avoid it for as long as possible.

i’m posting about this here because, for ~some reason~, the hearing is to start at 1pm. on a regular thursday. when people are at work.

so, for those of you who will be awake at 1pm JST on thursday the 26th of november, i ask you to please contribute to the youtube live viewer count. i’ll put the link in a reblog.

The avengers and ~sleep~

Thor

This man can sleep anywhere any time

However he is rarely tired so he often will choose not to sleep for very long

Definitely a stomach sleeper.

Twelve hundred pillows

Needs a comfy mattress or will be in pain the next day.

Natasha

Religiously drinks that sleep tea stuff. No one knows if it makes Nat tired but it prevents nightmares either way

Sleeps in the position that’s like stargazer. Essentially how she landed at vormir

Even if she cant sleep she’ll lie in her bed because why get up anyways.

Needs absolute darkness. If she can see anything her job has failed.

Likes being able to hear people around her like Tony’s late night padding around the house or Clints obnoxious snoring

Clint

Likes light while sleeping. This caused problems whenever he shared hotel rooms with Nat.

Snores or sleep talks when very exhausted just that good quality sleep hits and he is out

Do not wake him up physically you will die. Either turn a ton or light on or play real loud music in a different room

He loves coffee but doesn’t need as much as he consumes.

Sleeps in the crack between wall and bed. Like fully.

Bruce

One of those ass hats with a 10pm-6am sleep schedules

Will break said schedule for any avenger whenever they just have to ask

Needs silence. At the tower he has extra thick walls to keep silence in.

His jawline gives snorer vibes he definitely snores

Wakes up at night for water and stuff he just has that energy

Steve

Sleep police. If your not asleep don’t let Steve see or hear you. Which is fucking hard because he’s a super soldier.

Meanwhile he doesn’t sleep much but he claims it’s because of the serum he doesn’t need to.

While that is true, every time he closes his eyes it’s like being below freezing point, or ya know bucky is fallling off a train, or he’s with Peggy and Buck and waking up is just disappointing.

Sleeps in fetal because pre-serum Steve was fucking minuscule and poor so I can see him always getting the short end of the stick and like sleeping in the corner aha

Also likes being near people but isn’t going to say shit.

Tony

Uh sleep? Yeah, no thanks.

Coffee

Definitely whimpers in his sleep whenever there’s a not super pleasant dream but he’ll deny it to his dying breath

If he does actually sleep he’ll push his back against the wall or hold a pillow to mimick human contact

Is the best at avoiding the sleep police. Sleep deprived tony sees it like a game and he has an intense need to win.

Avengers HCs Highschool edition

Tony

Does all of the homework between one and seven am

Gets good grades but pisses everyone off because he’s somehow disappointed in them (somehow is also known as Howard Stark)

Stays at the school library until it closes. Not to study mostly to be disconnected front everything else.

Drinks a water bottle of coffee. It’s finished by the end of first period

Is bored in every single class and always multitasking. Never on task. Ever.

Nat

Will beat a bitch up. Especially bullies cause fuck them.

Is super quiet in class. Doesn’t respond to teachers even when asked because why should they choose when she does or doesn’t speak

Has friends in multiple groups but all the groups don’t know about each other.

Doesn’t do homework but talks her way out of everything and anything

Her and Clint give fake names to subs.

Steve

Steve is an unintentional asshole. “a sixty three? You’re so much better than that”

CAPTAIN OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM CAPTAIN OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM (The teams probably not even that good but he will tear you in half if you insult them)

history buff. In the weird kind of way. “We’re studying a fucking genocide” “OHMYGOD YES”

Does all his homework the moment it’s assigned and clucks his tongue at everyone else (they all procrastinate)

Definitely writes in the school paper that absolutely nobody reads

Clint

Runs a school gossip account. I don’t know why. But he does.

“Sorry I didn’t hear that” is his go to excuse for everything (with reason.)

Sits in the back of the class with Nat and they mostly just dick around

WAYYYY too competitive in PE. It’s not healthy.

The only fucko out there that uses the school shower. He just does it at random hours of the day to confuse people.

Bruce

Anxiety for everything but taking tests. This man can have a midterm worth forty percent of his mark and he’s just like ✌️

Wears goggles over his glasses in chem class.

Definitely is the only one whose parents drive him to/home from school.

Also spends time in the library after school but just cause he enjoys the vibes

Actually cares about paying attention. Doesn’t sit with any of the other avengers because “Nat shut up I’m not going to understand it” (but he understands all of it even without paying attention)

Thor

His only conversation topic is “No! We have these weird little bear like creatures and-“ “oh my gosh! We have a party where we all dress like-“ (just talks about home ig)

Popular because he’s hot and so people take a long time to recognize the signs of a dork

On Steve’s football team (he likes throwing things)

Participates in class but does not know what he’s talking about.

Is all of the avengers way into parties because he’s invited /everywhere/
