So here are some hcs that won't let me sleep.

Avery continues to work even at home and sometimes she dozes off staring at her laptop or something and Jameson carries her to bed and tucks her in with a kiss on her forehead.

2. When Avery gets really jittery and can't sleep because there's some event or big meeting ahead, Jameson just pulls her close and tangles their legs and peppers her face with kisses and reassurances in that really soft voice of his. (I would melt fr)

Sometimes when both of them are feeling nostalgic, they talk about their past and their families laying in bed. When Avery's speaking, she kinda gets lost and starts tracing Jameson's arm and his chest and his abs (😋) and he loves seeing that part of her which does stuff without thinking too much abt it. It makes him feel even closer to her.

Avery is a very light sleeper and she gets really annoyed and angry when someone disturbs her. Jameson has been on the receiving end of this a few times when he disturbs her, though she always apologises later.

Jameson has nightmares about the plane blast and sometimes he starts crying and turns away because he doesn't want to wake Avery, but she notices and climbs into his lap and gives him really really tight hugs whispering 'Shhh. I'm here, Jameson' while running her arms over his back. Sometimes they just fall asleep against the headboard like that.

God I love these two so much!!

Won't let go of you. It takes you up to 10 minutes to get his ass up like hugging you tightly.

I don't care what you say but; He moves a lot and you go with him. One minute you are on the bed the other minute you are on the floor.

Takes all of the cover. you end up having a fever and he doesn't know how it happened.

Sometimes sleeps on top of you. He doesn't know what's going on.

Hair is all over the place. His hair is almost always on your face

Covers his face in your neck you find it so cute!

If he wakes up first he will just poke you if you don't get up he will randomly cup your face...And then pokes you again.

Or if he wakes up first he will just...Stare at you till you wake up.

Glass Joe

- a sleepcap with the robe thingy

- seriously, look at him and tell me he wouldnt wear the honkmimimi fit

- doesnt snore thankfully, makes up for that by speaking in his sleep and spinning around the bed like hell

- he'll go to sleep on his back and end up waking up using the blanket as a pillow while on the edge of the bed, facedown

- if you're asleep next to him, expect suprisingly strong kicks that makes dragon chan jealous

Disco Kid

- random pajamas, if its comfy, he shall wear it

- still as a corpse in his sleep + facedown

- sometimes sings in his sleep and its both terrifying and hilarious

-imagine trying to sleep and you just hear the intro to bad romance

Von Kaiser

- white T-shirt + black shorts, bland ass fit

- snores but not THAT much

- has severe insomnia so if you see him asleep, dont wake him up because 90% of the time its because he passed out

- doesnt spin like Joe but doesnt stay still either, just some slight turning

Piston Hondo

- has a whole lot of pajamas, ends up with pajama pants + some bland shirt of any kind

- no snoring, silent

- sleeps facedown, still alive somehow

- so still you might think hes dead

- mumbles in his sleep because holy shit we cant have one normal person who sleeps normally

- sometimes clones himself in his sleep, especially when hes worried about something he forgot to do/needs to do, its his version of sleepwalking, makes said clones do work

- laying in bed but he forgot to turn off the kettle? No worries, he'll send a clone for that

- also spins like a rotisserie chicken in his sleep

- has weird ass dreams every night, he woke up in a cold sweat because he had a dream about his clones refusing to work for him & overthrowing him somehow

Don Flamenco

- fancy robe + sleep mask

- quiet sleeper

- can and will grab onto anything when hes asleep & hug it and hold on for dear life

- you sleep with your arms stretched? Enjoy having your arm used as a personal pillow

- carmen hates sleeping next to him for that (and totally nothing else)

Bear Hugger

- some t shirt from Facebook with those auto generated quotes like "NEVER MESS WITH A LUMBERJACK WHO LIKES SEA SHANTIES & RAW FISH AND WAS BORN IN NOVEMBER!!" plus some pants he doesnt use anymore, this includes jeans of any kind

- snores like hell also, so loud you might need earplugs

- speaks in his sleep,he sometimes sleepwalks with his eyes open and it terrifies everyone

- its really random stuff too, usually related to whatever weird dream hes having

- it feels like when youre in a sleep over and someone keeps whispering weird shit thats so funny for some reason

- the "i like raw fish" quote comes from his sleeptalking too

Aran Ryan

- weirdest pajamas ever, nothing is matching, nothing fits together, his pajamas takes years off your lifespan

- speaks in his sleep, its always terrifying

- some of his fabulous speak talking quotes includes "the fog is coming" and "war"

- he wake up in the weirdest positions ever, he'll go to sleep on his side and when he wakes up hes on the floor

- spins in his sleep, both the y axis and x axis this time

Bald Bull

- tank top + pajama pants, classic dad fit

- loudest snorer ever, sounds like a nuclear siren

- sleeps with all his limbs stretched out, looks oddly similiar to family guy death pose

- sometimes ends up slightly headbutting people in his sleep, especially when hes having a dream that personally pisses him off, Just a slight nudge thankfully unlike joes organ-breaker combo meal over here

- ends up hugging his pillow when hes asleep

- any random combo of everything mentioned above, can and will wear jeans in his sleep

- suprisingly still when hes asleep

- no snoring too somehow

- sleepwalks a LOT, causing him to wake up in odd places, either on the floor or in a bathtub

- needs someone to check up on him whenever hes sleepwalking

- snorts in his sleep instead of snoring somehow??

luke thoughts, hm. how about his sleeping habits? what position does he usually fall asleep in? i imagine on the farm he was an early bird, but does he stay that way in the rebellion? what does he wear to bed? does he dream, or remember his dreams? i’d love to know what you think :3

I feel that, on occasion, Luke will be one to mumble in his sleep; maybe even twitch his hands up as if he is reacting to something, or do a little face scrunch while dreaming deeply. I can imagine that happening to pre-rotj Luke often enough, at the very least.

I have a few ideas for him when it comes to sleeping positions; firstly I can imagine that, younger him especially (think pre-anh or just anh), would constantly be thrashing around in bed through the night, awake or asleep, therefore it would be constantly changing through the night at that time in his life. On the other hand, I imagine Luke as someone who has always needed to hold or cuddle something/someone to sleep more comfortably no matter which Luke period this is, so if he doesn't have a partner he falls asleep on his side and clutching a soft pillow close to his chest. I also have this image of ESB Luke asleep on his stomach, cheek squished against his pillow as his arms are hooked underneath it. and just imagine that bedhead...his hair would be so messy yet soft and fluffy at once.

I too can't help but think that when it comes to ROTJ Luke, or post etc... that he is a much better sleeper, he tends to fall asleep on his back, on his side with his hand tucked under his cheek, or even in a sitting position at times when he meditates a little too hard. He is also a light sleeper, driven awake by any small sound as he's always so in tune with his surroundings even when fast asleep. Yet despite how he has this calmer mindset to enjoy a peaceful sleep, I can imagine that there are stresses in his life that disrupt him from time to time. He worries about his students, his sister and Han wherever they may be, and occasionally he will feel something deeply wrong in the force that has him waking in a cold sweat. He feels too much, he's been through too much, and it still effects him no matter how great a Jedi he is.

He also was definitely forced to be an early bird on the farm, but I don't think it to be something he ever truly got used to. And unfortunately, I doubt he had much time to sleep in when in the rebellion, for it was more stressful than his simple farm life- although, when he DOES get a chance to sleep in, Leia has to physically pull him from the bed after an hour or two of peaceful slumber. He also gets so grumpy about it too, his tone raspy yet whiney at once when he begs for five more minutes. Spoiler; Leia does not give in to his wishes. (Pssstt, and he's almost just the same even as a Jedi when he has students to teach if he has a partner; he cannot bare to part from them when they are so adorably nuzzled into his side. He would stay in bed with them all day if he could, keeping them close to him as he places sleepy kisses to their hair or cheeks. the only difference is that Jedi Luke understands he cannot ignore his responsibilities as a master to his students).

In regards to what he wears to bed, I have a few ideas: I think his sleepwear is pretty generic when he's in the rebellion, a basic tunic and sweats that are either off white or beige (maybe a sweater in the echo base since its so cold), and ROTJ/post-rotj Luke would be essentially the same, except I DO very much like to imagine him in black, perhaps even with slightly fuzzy pyjama pants on (shirt? no shirt? depends on his mood or temperature too. but if he has a partner, he keeps the shirt off knowing damn well where their eyes like to wander). But ANH Luke? I love to picture that aunt Beru maybe puts together some handmade pyjamas for him, especially as a child. They're so soft, and sometimes fuzzy if she has the material for it. He still thinks of them from time to time, wishing they hadn't burnt to ash in the fire, so perhaps when he has the time and is somewhere with market stalls and the like, he tries to find a similar material or even tries his hand at making his own like she did for him (He may not be very good at it, but he tries.)

In terms of dreams, I imagine he has always been much of a dreamer. When he was a child, he used to have these vivid dreams of a woman, sometimes where she appeared very sad or another where he saw her with flowers in her hair as she slept. He found comfort in these somehow, and they always seemed to happen around his birthday, but that part he didn't really understand and eventually they began to fade with time as he grew older. Only later as a Jedi did he remember them and realize he was seeing his mother. I also like to imagine that he has either the most chill dreams ever (Pretty normal. Maybe where he is following some beautiful path in a meadow with flowers and cutest little bugs buzzing around him, or he is speaking with a friend either old or new, maybe even doing some maintenance on his ship), or the most insane in every sense of the word (buildings and people turn into different shapes or colours around him, or he dreams someone is speaking the most illogical words to him before he's pushed off a cliff and lands in the most random of places. maybe he even dreams his lightsaber turns into a baguette, who knows?).

When he becomes a Jedi, his dreams start to make some sense. They give him signs, warnings, or even just messages to help him through his days. Sometimes he dreams of his father, and he wakes up in serene peace for reasons he can't fully comprehend. He often meditates on these, and takes them seriously when the need arises. But thats not to say his dreams are always helpful as a Jedi by default. He still has those occasional crazy ones, or those random yet calm ones that don't mean much at all. He enjoys dreaming, though. He enjoys allowing sleep to overcome him as his subconscious treats him to an adventure.

-thats not to be said he doesn't get nightmares either, though. Sometimes he wakes up in the night and can feel the force lightning coursing through his veins, and if he has a partner next to him, he will hold them for comfort, maybe talk about his fears if they're awake. He can still remember how he burned his own father to ash, dreaming of that very fire as his voice croaks out from the darkness. Luke even has horrible nightmares about Leia dying tragically, and the very next morning he has to figure out if this was simply a nightmare or something to genuinely worry of.

what type of sleeper do you think the cast of LMK are? (light sleeper, heavy/deep sleeper, no sleeper, sleep talker, sleep walker, eyes open kind of sleeper, etc)

I think I'll just do show because why not :D

MK: Heavy sleeper. I'm pretty sure the guy has canonically slept through his alarm, so I think it tracks that he's a heavy sleeper but I wouldn't be surprised if season 3 onwards he has a harder time sleeping.

Mei: Early riser. Being a descendant of Ao Run, a known sea dragon, Mei is instinctively linked to the rise and set of the moon; basically she has an internal clock that tells her the time based off the current position of the moon and that internal clock will usually wake her up when the moon is setting. That paired with her apparently strict upbringing leads me to believe she's an early riser.

Red Son: Insomniac. I think this one is kind of fandom accepted. Red Son is a hard worker, the kind of person who works until they drop asleep. He totally stays up late at night working on projects, only to fall asleep at noon because he stayed up all night.

Pigsy: Sporadic sleeper. Being kind of a workaholic and a dad I see Pigsy as the kind of person who taught himself to take periodical naps throughout the day to get his rest instead of just sleeping for a regular 7 hours, so to others it might seem like he's an early riser when instead he's just running on naps.

Tang: Sleep talker. There isn't much behind this one other than Tang seems like the type to talk in his sleep. He's got a lot to say :3

Sandy: Light sleeper. With his apparent warrior past I see him having been taught/taught himself to be a light sleeper so he'd be alert to attacks. Being a light sleeper would make him less vulnerable to attacks as he'd be easily awoken by the slightest sound/what not and while he has left behind his warrior life I still see him staying a light sleeper.

Wukong: Sleep walker. Three things convince me Wukong would be a sleep walker. 1) the mountain. Being stuck under the mountain for 500 years would've been hell especially since he couldn't move so once his body is free to move around it responds with sleep walking as it hates the feeling of being stiff and stuck while Wukong is asleep. 2) With the journey being as dangerous as it was I see Wukong's body developing some type of fight response to danger even when he's dead asleep aka he's basically sleep fighting people. 3) Stress can be one of the things that causes sleep walking and this monkey is certainly stress but I can also see it as trauma response when he has nightmares; his body literally acting out/reacting to the nightmares as they happen in his head.

Macaque: I don't think Macaque can sleep unless he feels 100% safe, so I fully think he'd just sleep in one of shadow portals where it's safe and there's also no sound and while he's in there he'll usually sleep with this ears open so he can hear things in the future/past that will set him at ease so he won't have nightmares.

Black Star knows that Kid isn't really asleep because he can still see his chest moving.

It was a weird thing at first, almost traumatic, when they began to sleep together and Black Star (a light sleeper) would wake up in the middle of the night because he couldn't feel Kid's breath.

Kid explained to him that he doesn't really need to breathe, but he forced himself to do it to not "scare" the sisters when they started their partnership and now it's almost natural for him, even when he was sleeping he would be conscious enough to keep the fake breathing, but when Kid is unconscious/really fast sleep he stops it.

And with Black Star he feels safe enough to be fast sleep.

Over time, Black Star gets used to it, he would actually get worried when he feels Kid breathing because that would mean that there's something worrying him.

[1] [2] Here's another set of wtdw headcanons! This time it's all about sleep headcanons!

Lewis- gets proper sleep, but since the early days of Dreamworld and Sara working with Litho and Winnie he's been pulling all nighters.

Oliver- look at this boy and tell me he sleeps! He's been taking care of his siblings and running Dreamworld. Give this boy some sleep!

Sara-Her sleep schedule is a roller caster! Harvey’s sleep meme

01. type of bed: "King sized bed, definitely big enough for Donna and I. I'm not going to bother bragging about how comfortable the mattress is. All you need to know is that it's great to sleep on."

02. number of blankets: "Two, though one of them is folded on the end of the bed. It isn't really used often. It's more for decoration or if it gets really cold."

03. number of pillows: "Four. Two for myself, two for Donna."

04. type of clothing: "Usually a T-shirt and sweatpants. Sometimes a long-sleeved sweatshirt. Or sometimes no shirt at all, depends on the night."

05. does it matter where they sleep? "I'm most comfortable sleeping at home or I can sleep at Mike's house. I can manage to sleep at hotels, but it isn't like it's the most comforting. If I'm really exhausted, I can manage to sleep on the couch in my office. It's a 'desperate times calls for desperate measures' thing."

06. what do they do if they cannot fall asleep? "Usually I get up and go out to the porch and sit there for a while. Sometimes I might get changed- or at least put a jacket on- and go for a quick walk."

07. frequent dreams, nightmares: "I have a mix of nightmares and dreams. The nightmares aren't as frequent as in the past, but there are times where I have a week or longer of nonstop nightmares. But I also have decent dreams too, sometimes really good ones."

08. deep slumber or naps: "Usually a deeper sleep. I don't take naps all that happen. I prefer to just sleep at night, when it's time for bed and proper sleep."

09. when do they sleep: "It varies. I'd say it's usually around 10:30 or 11:30."

10. what could wake them up: "I wouldn't say I'm too deep a sleeper, but it isn't like the smallest noise will wake me up. Someone calling for me, a phone ringing, someone shaking me, louder noises, things like that will usually wake me up."

Scott’s sleep meme

01. type of bed: queen size bed, lots of room with a very nice mattress and a memory foam piece laying on top of the mattress and it is literally like sleeping on a warm cloud

02. number of blankets: When not sleeping in my bed? 2 preferably, not necessarily for warmth but for the heaviness. Feels like a hug. When I’m in my bed? I prefer just a comforter. Having a sheet makes me feel like I’m all wrapped up like a mummy or something.

03. number of pillows: one for my head and one to hug

04. type of clothing: either sweatpants with a tshirt/sweatshirt or pajama pants with a tshirt/sweatshirt

05. does it matter where they sleep? Oh heck no. I can literally sleep anywhere

07. frequent dreams, nightmares: Unfortunately, I have nightmares every once in a while. Dreams though? I don’t dream that often, at least I don’t remember them all. When I do remember them though, they’re weird.

09. when do they sleep: 10:30 is usually the earliest I go to bed. Most of the time it’s like 11:30 or midnight, assuming everything’s normal.

10. what could wake them up: It’ll honestly take a lot to wake me up. Some loud noise, something shaking me, maybe like a really loud van door sliding open that shakes the whole van. You get the idea.

Sigfrid doesn’t snore but he’s very loud where he can start laughing, crying, screaming, whimpering and having intense conversations. Though it’s sometimes challenging to understand what he’s talking about since it’s not always coherent. Some words might be quiet mumblings or pure nonsense. Some conversations can also be fully understood when he’s having night terrors.

12. how long does it typically take for your muse to fall asleep?

On good days it might take 30 minutes or a full hour. Other times he can lay awake for hours even though he’s physically and mentally exhausted. Things that might keep him awake are a never ending loop of negative thoughts.

Sometimes he finds it really hard to know when he’s actually awake or when he’s fallen asleep since he sometimes has what’s called night terror. He’s aware of what's happening in the room, where he is and if there are actually people around him but he’s still in a dream state filled with hallucinations that might terrify him enough to scream or run away from his bed. Other times he calmly repeats to himself it’s not real and cannot hurt him. Some hallucinations are visual, others are sound based and there are times when it feels like the whole bed is shaking or he’s being touched.

15. how many hours of sleep does your muse typically get?

It really fluctuates but during good periods when he’s keeping a good sleep schedule it’ll be around 6 hours.

does anyone else form their headcanons of marinette and adrien largely on the basis of "they have to be opposite each other"? like, creation and destruction, yin and yang, etc. like Marinette being late all the time and sleeping through her alarms? so she's probably a deep sleeper? So that means, by the laws of my lovesquare headcanons according to my brain, Adrien has to be a light sleeper. Marinette is a chaotic creative person and I can imagine her just having so much STUFF all around and living in organized chaos. so therefore Adrien likes his spaces neat and clear. (also something something creation and clutter vs destruction and emptiness) you know??? ???? ? adrien and marinette headcanons just cant be independent of each other in my brain. they are always intrinsically linked
