Now Harry is a toxic guy who is jealous of Ginny and he's afraid losing to Neville 🤣🤣.

Girl listen , Harry was only jealous when him and Ginny weren't together and after the war Harry and Ginny were no longer in that phase of stupid tennager jealousy like Harry felt with Krum and Dean or Ginny towards Cho and Gabrielle.

" Ginny fell first but Harry felt harder " which i think it is nonsense and overshadows Ginny fellings and love for Harry and say this why :

1- Ginny herself said she never gave up on Harry and always had hope and just started do go out and see other peeople thanks to Hermione advise and start be herself around Harry .

2- The books are from Harry pov of course we know more about his fellings and thoughts about other people , his views and opinions etc . If the books were from Ginny pov or JK wrote her pov we would knew the details about her fellings for Harry .

3 - The love and dreams and the thoughts Harry had about Ginny specially in book 6 and 7, Ginny most likely had the same thing for him specially dreams of been with Harry intimite and missing him when he was out with Ron and Hermione during the horcrux haunt .

Many say she's perfect for Harry ( which is true) but people forget how perfect Harry is for Ginny and how much she loves him and that is a really underrated thing for even Hinny shipers talking about Ginny fellings for Harry and how much she loves him and he is her soulmate nad her best source of happiness and hang out

hi, I hope you are well. I just want to tell you how awesome you and this blog are. I was just reading your metas they were just mind blowing.

You have a such a great understanding of the characters especially harry and ginny. They are very underrated as a couple. My heart swell with happiness whenever I read your post about them.

Your metas are quite unique and refreshing I know I am going to come again and again to read those metas.

Also, I really loved your percy and Audrey fic. I usually dont read anything outside hinny and jily. But this fic was just amazing.

"Don't hate me" made me cry especially when Ginny told harry not to die. I wanted to hug both of them.

"The name of Ginny potter's kids" was also my fav. I cried during Albus' section. And also Sirius shipping hinny cheff kiss.

"I am sorry too" love this. I firmly believe ron and Ginny love each other despite their fights. Thank you for this.

I've taken a step back from posting because of... life and also sometimes this fandom gets a little too much for my mental health but I had to get out of hibernation to answer this.

I was actually considering closing my asks for a while because I literally have 52 asks to answer but I'm glad I didn't.

Receiving this kind of message is really beautiful because, as much as like answering people's questions, often they kind of forget that I'm a real person and ask things like I'm a machine you can just get an analysis from with a little coin (I wish there were coins involved actually XD). It's a little dehumanizing.

I'm so very glad you like my Percy/Audrey fic. I honestly fell in love with the characterization I built for Audrey to the point that I'm considering expanding it and using it for an original story.

That line in "Don't hate me" is me being a cruel writer which is very much my style even if you can't really see it from my fanfictions. Also, like every writer, I'm a monster who feeds on readers' tears.

The late-night talks between Sirius and Ginny are hands down the best "trope" this fandom has ever created and I actually hope one day I'll manage to write the full scene I reference there because I don't think you can really call yourself a hinny writer if you haven't written your own version of Sirius and Ginny's late-night talks.

The relationship between Ron and Ginny is so personal to me, I love them!

This fic. This fic. I have been struggling with for ages! It's my amnesia!Ginny fic, built on an ask annerb got about gone was any trace of you on what she thought it would be like if Ginny were the one with amnesia. I've been REALLY stuck rewriting the beginning over and over, and I still don't feel like I have it down. It might be time to give up on it... 😭

But here's a snippet I do like:

“She should come home,” Molly insisted. Ginny fought the urge to roll her eyes as they continued to talk about her when she was right there. Harry gave Molly a tight, polite smile, but then looked again at Ginny. There was an intensity behind his gaze that made it hard to look away. “Ginny should decide.” “Harry, you can’t be serious—she’s confused and unwell,” Molly said flushing. “How can she decide when she doesn’t remember anything?” Something on Ginny’s face must have encouraged him because he continued. “What do you want to do?” Harry asked her, still looking straight at Ginny. Arthur placed his hand on Molly’s shoulders again, which seemed to quiet the argument that no doubt was rising. “What are my options?” “You can go with your parents,” he said with a small smile. “Go back to the Burrow.” “You can stay in your old bedroom,” Molly said, the words rushing out as if they simply couldn’t hold themselves back. “I can cook all your favorites and look through photo albums. It might spark something.” “Or?” Ginny asked, her eyes flickering back to Harry, for somehow the others in the room seemed to naturally look to him as the leader despite his age. “Or,” Harry drew out the word slowly. “Or you can go back with me. To our flat.”

Haha somehow you also selected the SECOND amnesia!Ginny story! But very different. In this story, Ginny was taken during DH (uhhh wow I really do have quite a few variations on the same trope), but she’s been gone for several years and everyone suspects the worst. Harry is hardened (this is a Harry who felt his future was stolen from him) and far more vengeful. This isn’t a Harry who gives Voldemort a chance to repent.

During the anniversary of Ginny’s disappearance, there’s a huge raid at a Death Eater hideout. He is out for blood— he gets caught up fighting and chasing one particularly tricky death eater, and all Harry can’t think beyond his wall of rage and then hexes them, catching the death eater mask, which cracks apart. And there, to his shock, is Ginny.

Annnnnd then I still have to figure out the rest! Bahahaha! 😘

Shoot — I have to leave on a second road trip with in laws (thought I’d get a break but Mr. Naru is desperate for a buffer). Thank you all for the asks and your encouragement (it means a lot when I’m in such a writing drought)! I promise I’ll get to the rest of your asks in time!

Thanks for tagging me @kay-elle-cee and @tiffanytoms! I'm a bit late but I always accept any excuse to share my latest obsession:

“Well,” she says, trying to sound dismissive. “You are a gorgeous guy.”

She is just saying the plain truth, so there is no reason to be embarrassed about it, right? This guy is gorgeous, not in an obvious way, but the kind of guy that exudes some charm, that makes you want to take a second look, and then, the more you look, the more you find something capturing your attention. The shape of his lips; the dimples at the corner that speak of his laughs. The dark green pool of his eyes, and how it’s a shade lighter at the centre; his untamed windy hair. And, if you were lucky enough to witness it as Ginny was starting to realise she was, the glint of his eyes, something true and inviting.

Hi, @vreesha14! I'm doing just fine and hope you're doing well too!

So, Snape. If you've seen my blog, you might have noticed that I wouldn't invite him over for tea. Maybe I would've liked him if he didn't bully/emotionally abuse students and not care if Harry died, as long as Lily lived.

An unpopular one I like would be......Percy. I honestly had to think about this 😅. Him believing that Voldemort isn't back isn't that unrealistic and he never actually felt as if his parents truly supported his ambitions. So it would make sense that he would try to start a life on his own. Doesn't excuse what he did, but people criticize him too much for this, in my opinion. Although, he was a pompous arse, he was good at heart.

The same could also be said for Cho and Lavender. I kind of like them too.

The only "bad" they did was "get in the way" of peoples' favorite ships. But their unpopularity in rooted in misogyny (people like Dean, even if he "got in the way" of Hinny. And Krum for Romione).

@thegirlwhowrites642 was right! 'Please do share' does make me feel important.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and he needs to learn to respect other people’s opinion. I’m 💯sure he’s in love with Harry and Hermione. He probably has full on fantasies about them in that peanut sized brain of his, and you can’t convince me otherwise! It’s probably the only action the poor lad is getting. He’s also a bit of an attention seeking ***** who needs drama to feel like he’s important. Anyways you two lovelies continue keeping it classy! 😘

I honestly don’t understand the need he has to talk shit about people in the Hinny fandom.

If there’s someone I don’t agree with, I don’t read their shit. I don’t engage in their discussions. I don’t follow their accounts. I don’t make multiple accounts in order to follow someone who blocked me.

I blocked him ages ago and his back up accounts (and I just went through my followers list and blocked someone else that may be him but if it’s not I’m truly sorry I blocked you).

On the veil

TW: Discussion of suicide and suicidal thoughts

Thanks to @four2andnew for this post responding to the meta I posted earlier - the post shares some really thought-provoking reflections on the veil, and why Harry, Luna, Neville and Ginny are the characters most drawn to this boundary between this life and the next.

In many ways, it seems very possible that all characters entranced by the veil might well have experienced suicidal thoughts or suicidal ideation. I’m writing a Ginny-centric piece at the moment, and it’s a prospect I’ve been thinking a lot about: both the context of both Ginny’s lingering guilt, but also whether her desperation to be rid of Riddle and the diary horcrux, or to stop people getting hurt on her account, might also led to her a very dark place in the year she was possessed.

That said, I have come down on the side of thinking to that characters’ response to the veil represents less a present or past desire to end their own life, than a curiosity about what happens after death. I think that’s why Luna, a character defined by her curiosity, her own experience of grief, and her acceptance of mysteries and magic much greater than herself, finds such peace with the idea of the veil. Hermione shares no signs of this speculative interest in death or what comes after, and fears when other character's seem fascinated or even attracted to it. Ron repeatedly shares a fear of death, sometimes - sorry Ron, love you! - even sounding a bit like Voldemort about it (Ron asks: 'What's worse than death?' OotP, 100 - later, Voldemort says: 'There's nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!' OotP, 814).

It's such an interesting question, then: why is it Harry, Neville and Ginny that are the three most entranced by the veil, aside from Luna?

Harry's curiosity about death is a persistent theme throughout the series, and is in some ways the most obvious. But Neville's view of death is less clear, and it's something I think a lot about. In OotP, Moody says of Frank and Alice Longbottom: 'Better dead than what happened to them.' (173, US edition). I’m so taken with idea that this idea that the people talk about the Longbottoms as suffering a fate worse than death, in ways that might well have changed how Neville views death - that he might fear death less than other terrible things that can happen to a person.

That Ginny would have this curiosity and/or a belief in some form of life after death is fascinating to me. I think a lot about where that came from. Until the end of the series, Ginny's experiences of loss are less acute that other character's - the deaths of her uncles happens before she's born, for instance, and the deaths that occur before the final battle (Sirius, Dumbledore, Moody) affect her, but much more indirectly than they do other characters.

Two helpful things have shaped how I've thought Ginny's views of death. One is the train station by dirgewithoutmusic, which is a fic that explores Ginny's experiences of hovering on the border of life and death in the Chamber. It's so compelling as an exploration of what Ginny might have gone through as the life slips from her as the Horcrux Riddle drains her soul from her, and I've sort of accepted it as a headcanon now.

The other is this really insightful meta by @thegirlwhowrites642 on the significance of Ginny and Riddle being the two characters with wands made of yew. I wonder if, in Ginny's interactions with the diary, she and Riddle ever discussed their shared wand woods, and if Riddle ever conveyed or alluded to his enormous fear of death. It seems likely Ginny would think a lot about why Voldemort would trap a part of himself in a diary, an obvious sign of a quest for immortality even if Ginny doesn't know anything about the horcruxes. (I also just love the idea of a yew tree growing over Ginny's grave after her death: of new life growing after she's gone, a sign that she understood something about death that Harry also knew, and that Riddle never did. It's the same idea that is inscribed on Lily and James' gravestones: the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.) I think she and Harry would, one day, discuss these things, but even in its unspoken form in the series, I think it's the basis of a lot of really profound mutual understanding between the two of them.

For me Ginny is also a helper although a distant one, different from Ron and Hermione because she was always there helping Harry same way with Neville and Luna.

That's one of the best things about Harry and Ginny as couple, even though distant in most part they always help one and the other.

WIP Wednesday

Thanks for tagging me, @ashotofogdensoldfirewhiskey :)

As it so happens, I am actually writing something for the first time in ages, so I finally have something to share!

“— he’s just crashed into that ship, see, and now the ship’s sinking – uh oh –” Teddy reached for the small ship, snatching it up into his little hand just before it hit the bottom of the bathtub.

“Saved it!” he cried, now holding both the ship and the duck in the air victoriously.

“That’s good,” Harry replied, “because we’re nearly done, and I don’t think we’d want to end bathtime with a shipwreck.”

But Teddy had already turned away, his mind lost to his imaginings once more. Harry filled the bath cup with water, cupped his hand to Teddy’s forehead, and poured the warm water over his bright hair. Teddy hardly noticed, now muttering an imagined conversation between the rubber duck and some little sailor figurines.

I haven't been writing much recently but here's a snippet from the Regretfully Uncaring rewrites, chapter 2 specifically. I hope to post these around June or July, and actually, I've got a question for all of you after the snippet.

“ ‘Course, we don’t know who’ll actually final just yet, but my money is on Ireland. Did you know Emanegion Warf was considered for the English national team?” he paused, shaking his head in dismay. “Poor bugger had his knees kicked in by his wife,”

“Only because he was seeing, what was it, five other women?” Seamus cried; Dean collapsed into fits of giggles beside him.

Ron straightened up on his bench. “He’s a Quidditch player! It’d be a right shame if he wasn’t taking advantage of his status,” he ignored a skeptical look from Hermione and went back to his pie. “And Dean, you laugh like a girl,”

“Fuck off, Ron,”

“Hang on, who is this supposed to be?” Harry asked, causing Seamus to throw his head back laughing, pointing at Ron.

Ron’s expression soured further, and he whispered – even though Harry wouldn’t have needed him to do so – “Canons player. One of the best there is,”

I don't actually know how many lines that is but it looks like seven to me and I haven't got my glasses on so yeah.

Harry was talking to a girl when it all happened.

It was Sirius' birthday party, and as usual the event had taken on huge proportions and the party was spread throughout the village. People were singing and drinking and dancing in the streets of Godric's Hollow, Sirius's picture was all over the local papers, it was almost like it was Christmas early, and Harry loved it.

The Weasley family had been invited, of course, Hestia - Sirius' wife, born in the lands ruled by dragons - had great affection for the family and she had long been trying to get the Potters to talk to them again without just being inside a castle to make political decisions. And well, if it was up to Harry, he'd be happy to be responsible for that.

But he needed her to help him.

A few days ago the two had fight over something silly that Harry knew he had overreacted, but Ginny hadn't helped either and the two had wasted their time together in an empty hallway, usually spent on kisses and maybe sex, for a fight.
