Continuing my quest of headcanoning the lotr races to be as inhuman as possible, hobbits are immune to so much shit.

They're covered in fur that keep them warm in any climate (Up on the mountain pass every other member of the fellowship would have frozen to death three times over before any of the hobbits started to feel something), but their fur also know how to air out properly, so they aren't affected by hot climates either (The heat of mount doom was a cake walk for Sam and Frodo. Everything else, not so much), and they have surprisingly thick skin that protects them against a lot of injuries, especially around their feet meaning they never get worn out. The same goes with food and drinks, it takes a lot to get a hobbit intoxicated (The alcohol concentration in their ale is insane), and no poison affects them. Like, when Shelob stabbed Frodo, man's was fucking fine. The stab was the problem, not her venom. In fact, headcanon time, Shelob's venom is an insta kill, but since Hobbits are practically immune and Orcs are resilient as heck, the most it causes is like a temporary paralysis. Poor Shelob is very confused as to why her stings ain't killing these people but just kinda knocking them out for a few hours.

In conclusion, Hobbits are the perfect specimen, made to survive in any climate and in any situation, and they could have easily taken over Middle Earth if they wanted to. They don't want to tho, so we're good

Older women loving Aemond would totally be into Wanderer, especially when she tells him stories of other realms.

He would find Wanderer fascinating at the least. Though given his nature, I see more of deep running fascination bordering on obsession initially—just something that itches beneath his skin as he’s shown to hold onto emotions/ideas to a festering degree. Especially given the fact I imagined Wanderer being around 500 when she would meet that generation of Targaryens/the Dance. Wanderer sees clean through him. See behind the eye (they’ve seen worse, and have experienced worse), behind the ambition (yes, he would be a better king, but tells him plenty rule without a crown; a crown is a symbol for the figurehead but loyalty of the land doesn’t always reside with the figurehead), not to mention Vhagar.

Just imagine Aemond having the biggest oh MomentTM while Wanderer bows deeply to his dragon who inhales puffing breaths of her scent and seems to melt with recognition, the snarling growls falling silent. Wanderer stroking those battle-worn scales with loving affection (likely the first time Aemond sees genuine softness and something other than mild indifference/annoyance while at the court), murmuring to the she-dragon in old Valyrian, talking about Visenya to the dragon as if they’re all old friends. Wanderer is some bizarre, ancient, otherworldly individual who looks no different than most people in King’s Landing and he finds it maddening and magnetic all in the same breath.

Infodump about a WIP OC!

Everyone, meet Zathura, the time traveler whose past forms grace her skin in the form of tattoos. She travels around the universe and dimensions in her trusty blue convertible, often with the top off. She’s a bit of an inter-dimensional MacGyver, often making stops across the galaxy and various time periods in order to lend a hand. Why? For fun! New people, new events. Who wouldn’t want to have escapades with the newest stranger-turned-best friend?

Oh, and did I mention? It’s her last life—that she knows of. She’s trying to live her life to the fullest…while it lasts. She enjoys Earth food a lot, especially pizza, but she can’t complain about what other places have to offer! Just… lay off the freeze dried stuff, okay?

Her trusty traveling car is handy dandy in the way it changes per time period. In an era before cars? No worries, a bicycle will do just fine! Or a horse… that, too. Even that confuses her.

If you befriend her, she’s known to hand out business cards. She’s just one call away! E.T. phone home, anyone? In all seriousness, she loves traveling with others, and prefers it! Sure, her car can talk to her through the radio, but the loneliness of space is vast… and the darkness is, too.

1. A concept for Four--he is a chimera, which means a creature made up of two or more other creatures. In this case, I tried to impliment parts from what I had for the colours. Deer legs for Red (satyr) as well as the antennae, the wings for Green, Selkie skin for Blue and general colourisation for Vio (his tail under the selkie skin is, in fact, a were's tail). Its a concept, but I do like how it looks

2. Selkies are rarely in a between form! They're either people, or seals. So imagining Blue donning the skin legit just to get into the fish is really funny to me bless

3. Hyrule is a cervitaur (deer centaur) he typically has horns but its winter so he gets a pass. Blue sometimes likes to half wear his lil seal coat. Ignore diluc's balls

4. WING HUGSSSS

okay so before i jump into whatever happened to the man of tomorrow i decided that i'd list my superman reads so far! this is a rapid-fire list so i'm not going incredibly in depth here, i'm not really someone that writes reviews. if you care to follow, my goodreads is here!

with that being said, here's my rating system!

1 star = terrible, and more than likely didn't finish. i don't give one stars very often though so hopefully we won't be seeing them here but it's worth mentioning

2 stars = okay story, just not for me!

3 stars = solid story but a little forgettable

4 stars = loved it :)

5 stars = adored it! would read it again!

now since i'm doing these in order let's start with

all-star superman: a solid 4 stars! i love the sci-fi stuff and i love stories about clark's mortality

superman american-alien: might seem surprising but i genuinely adored reading this book so it gets a 5 star rating. it was a fun read, what can i say?

superman 2023: okay im a bit iffy about rating an ongoing series but all the issues have been 4 stars for me through and through. i love jamal campbell's art and supes is just <3 i would recommend this for newbies actually since it's pretty easy to follow even if you don't know much about superman.

superman: secret identity: sorry but i just thought this book was boring and pointless. 2 stars. why was this on a list for newbies to read i'll never know.

superman action comics #775 aka what's so funny about truth, justice, and the american way?: this is the only issue of the action comics i've read because i've heard good things about it (also because one of these days i'm gonna watch the adaptions of these comic books) and i can see why! a solid 4 stars for me. this is why you love superman, what more can i say? i think it needs a bit more breathing room but it's still a pretty good one.

superman for all seasons: i bumped this up to a 5 stars since im a little stingy with them lol but this is one of the books i'd read again. it's an easy read and i love tim sale's art, and i just wanna hug clark that's all

adventures of superman: jon kent: annnd we're back to 2 stars. i hate injustice but at least jon is a nice character. just please any other book besides this. sigh

superman smashes the klan: an easy 5 stars! i literally loved this book so much i bingeread it in a day! i recommend this to anyone and everyone, even if you don't care for superman pick this book up please!

supergirl special #1: okay, i know this is a superman list i don't care supergirl is getting thrown in here too. i'm gonna be honest i don't have much to say about this book so i guess it might be surprising that it's a 4 stars for me, maybe it's getting carried by the pretty art. i dunno, it's nice, that's all. i guess a 3 star rating would be more accurate lol

superman: the harvests of youth: this is a sweet book but it's about smallville so i don't have much attachment. 3 stars. it's got heart and i like martha with pink hair :)

superman: birthright: i think this book is a little dull but it mostly shines with clark and lex's relationship. lex growing up with clark adds an extra layer to their relationship that i like. 3 stars because i honestly don't remember much outside of that

supergirl: woman of tomorrow: this is a fun sci-fi adventure and the art style is honestly breathtaking. if someone wanted to know who kara is as a person this is the book i'd show them! 5 stars!
