Like in canon we watch two dudes take turns being dogshit to each other until they learn to be their own people and find lives outside of that dynamic and it’s always read more as “unhealthy relationship with a staggering amount of codependency” then straight up abusive from either side. At least that’s the interpretation i prefer bc i find it far more interesting to explore and think about then labeling one side as the bad guy and the other side as the victim. It feels way more complicated then that.

I’ve decided I’m just gonna be the sole crewmate on this battleship that is adam x eve, no issues here as im plenty used to serving in the armed forces in defense of rare ships. shipping something where we literally don’t even know what one of the people looks like tho is a whole new level-

anyway here’s some headcanons I thought of. special thanks to Abbie0129 on Twitter for her artwork that helped inspire some of these, if u ever see this post I love you

-the only thing adam and eve were able to take out of eden with them (besides clothes) was a set of flower crowns that they made for each other and basically acted like their wedding rings in the garden. the crowns were blessed by the angels to stay preserved and they allowed them to keep them. it’s the only thing they have left of Eden (king and queen of this little slice of paradise on earth ugh)

-Eve was sent to hell because Roo (or whatever this force of evil we saw depicted in the storybook with the big red eyes and creepy smile) influenced her into eating the fruit (hence the red smile. shoutout to another similar theory I saw on twitter that said Roo only made eve eat the fruit and then left her alone, before moving on later to target Lilith, hence the similar smile on that card. So Roo is different from Eve and Lilith but influenced them both). Maybe Roo’s influence was still on her when she died? Idk

-Abel though, I have an interesting thought. My current take is that if he’s in the show and not retconned, he went to hell because despite his efforts to please the angels, he was acting more out of self gratification, at least in secret. Seeking the angels’ approval more than actually trying to be a good person. That and I think he died with enmity in his heart towards Cain (fair enough). But he wasn’t willing to forgive Cain’s actions, while he was dying or after his death. If he can’t do that, how can he expect his own sins to be forgiven? Granted this is more based on the Christian view of sin. Abel’s heart was not light as a feather, and he died hating his own brother, bitter, and unforgiving. Again, I do not expect this level of depth from Vivzie but that’s just my take lmao

-So that leaves Adam showing up in Heaven alone. Cain is probably still wandering the Earth tbh, but im open to him being more of a spirit now who can pass between earth and Hell. But Adam being alone becomes very damaging. After all, it is not good for man to be alone. He just chalks it all up to Lucifer and Lilith’s deception with the apple that created Hell, blaming them for all the evil that has happened on Earth and the loss of his family.

-When Adam comes back as a sinner in Hell, he eventually reunites with Eve (and Abel. And maybe Cain). They work through all the shit they’ve been through and decide to try again being a family. They harvest angelic metal from the weapons and have them fashioned into rings. Eve wears hers normally and Adam wears his on a necklace. They have matching inscriptions on the inside, where one says “flesh of my flesh” and the other “bone of my bone.” If u saw my other post mentioning this, you’re welcome ❤️

-Eventually they get redeemed and Sera welcomes them back with a little gift: the flower crowns from Eden🥰

oh god uh okay. jesus christ here we go. sigrid is c!dream's daughter from one of the alternate (i.e. bad) endings of ouroboros. sam thinks he's her father but neither of them is quite sure because, well. she doesn't look like sam. she looks like this...

there's no deep dark biome on the server, so nobody has ever seen a warden before. they literally do not know what the fuck she is or how to care for her. luckily, dream manages to escape the torment labyrinth when sigrid is a toddler. he takes her directly to phil because phil is like, old as balls. surely this old man knows something about this species, right? wrong.

raising her is challenging. she's completely blind, so she needs help to get around (good thing techno has not one, not two, but two-dozen dogs that can be trained as service animals.) they also discover, when she's around nine or so, that her screams can inflict serious damage on anyone within hearing distance. doomsday trio do their best, and she gets...some semblance of a normal childhood. normal by dsmp standards, anyway.

after their escape, when sigrid's still little, dream meets up with punz again and they continue to pursue their research together. dream leaves for days at a time, then weeks, then months, returning to the arctic less and less frequently. in his defense, it's not his fault he never wanted a kid. he's also got a pretty intense complex around not being seen with her, since he knows any association with him puts sigrid in danger. what ends up happening is that she basically gets raised by c!emeralds. her personality is much closer to techno's than dream's.

needless to say, she and dream have a complicated relationship. i've got about 15k words of him teaching her necromancy collecting dust in my drafts lmao

one of her Big Things is that she gets lonelier as she grows up and realizes there isn't anyone her age around to play with. the closest she's got to a friend is michael, who's a couple years older and has been inducted as a Real Syndicate Member (this is the ouroboros timeline, so sam never killed ranboo.) this leads to her rebellious phase, which involves a lot of exploring outside the perimeter of the arctic with her dogs. she eventually befriends another little girl who's in a similar boat (there are hardly any kids on the server! just boring grown-ups! it's not fair!) and the two of them meet up in secret to go on stupid dangerous adventures. phil and techno never see this other kid and are fully convinced that sigrid made up an imaginary friend to play with. in reality, the other kid is quackity's daughter. so uh. yes, this situation does eventually blow up in everyone's faces.

i'm gonna cut this off here sdfghgfd thanks for taking an interest tho!! i have a backlog of sigrid drawings, maybe i'll be brave and post more of them someday...

Miquella Hunt Part 5: Caelid

Boy Caelid is so much fun to explore :) But despite the harrowing rot infested landscape Caelid is filled with Miquella's Lilys, as well as several areas of note that made me go "Hmmmm 🤔" lmao

1. By a big tree right by the Minor Erdtree

2. The Forsaken Ruins are positively littered with St. Trina's Lilys and not only that you can also get the St. Trina's Sword here. Interestingly, this is the only place in all of Caelid you can find St. Trinas Lilys.

3. This place.... is weird. Like what is going on here???? Like there's all these Redmane Soldiers, some Noble Sorcerers, and a Mad Pumpkin Head, all standing around this cluster of scarlet rot staring at it, and there's a single Miquella's Lily at the side just chilling lol I am so confused???? something weird will happen to this place during the DLC im putting money on it lol

4. On top of a ledge looking over a minor Scarlet Rot swamp, as well at the Caelid Waypoint Ruins. Surrounded by Servants of Rot.

5. Off to the side by the Dragon Communion Church. Now this is just a theory but when Golden Order Fundamentalism began to yield less and less results on how to cure Malenia, Miquella likely turned to other methods that could help, maybe even Dragon Communion as well?🤷 After all you find several St. Trina's Lilys at Lake Agheel too

6. Located on the path to Redmane Castle, which-! Leads me to one of my theories that Miquella spent some time with Radahn in Caelid, mostly likely before they abandoned Fundamentalism entirely.

7. Okay. Now this Lily is very special to me. It is by the tree in the back of Redmane Castle where the graveyard is. This is just a theory, but perhaps Miquella spent some time here at Redmane Castle in Radahns company along with Melania? I can imagine them sitting here, looking out over the ocean as they read over books and scrolls for any information on how to alleviate their sisters Rot; as well as paying their respects to the deceased laid to rest here UwU

8. There are two Miquella's Lilys here in Sellias streets. One in the alley and one in the waaaay back of Sellia. Just like at Redmane, I believe that Miquella spent some time here learning about the Sellian sorceries, and perhaps about the Eternal Cities? This is just speculation tho lol

9. Ah, the Chruch of the Plague. This is where you meet Millicent and it is also filled with many Sacramental Buds. My theory is that eventually on Miquellas journey to find a cure for Malenia they turned to their own blood to find a cure; and the Church of the Plague could be the very first spot where they started cultivating the buds to help alleviate Malenias rot.

10. I've noticed that a lot of the Lilys, Trina's Lily especially, are found by water, and they also seem to be surrounded many Land Octopi as well 🐙 Guess it makes sense since they are described as water Lilys

11. Guarded by Those Who Live in Death, this Lily is on the cliff overlooking the Wailing Dunes

12. Behind Fort Faroth by a big tree is a Miquella's Lily. Behind Fort Faroth there is also a ledge were a Lily is which is guarded by a surprisingly chill Winged Dame lol

13. These Lilys can be found on the path leading up to the Minor Erdtree, and also looking up at the Caelid Divine Tower.

14. There's is so much going on here at Lenne's Rise that I'm literally gonna have to make a separate post about this place lmao. But for now, a Miquella's Lily rests in the courtyard at the Rises center.

15. By a big tree on the hill overlooking a giant waterfall as well as the isolated Divine Tower. Interesting considering that's the Divine Tower were you activate Malenia's Great Rune.

ik (iirc) dana said evelyn chose caleb bc he seemed to be the nicest person in gravesfield but 1. caleb wouldve been hiding his hatred of humanity for obvious reasons and 2. we dont know shit abt evelyn herself, for all we know her standards couldve been "someone who wouldnt kill a witch on sight"

(speaking of evelyn i personally dont think she was evil in any way. i hc her as more of a batshit chaotic neutral character who did whatever she wanted as long as its fun anyways)

in this case caleb would be interesting foils to philip (anti-human vs anti-witch), hunter (who has an affinity to the human realm and is close to some humans like luz and camila) and the clawthorne sisters (both eda and lilith are flawed but still ultimately good ppl. both the clawthornes and the wittebanes subvert the "good sibling evil sibling" trope this way)

idk exactly what caleb and flapjacks relationship wouldve been like tho they had to have been close to some degree right? but at the same time i think flapjack had always disagreed with calebs anti-human sentiments but was afraid to actively oppose him, and ofc flap was happy that hunter was able to befriend a human and enjoy the human realm

speaking of hunter i. i was gonna say "imagine if hunter found out abt caleb wanting to wipe out humanity lol so angsty" but tbh i think that would just be TOO traumatic to him (even for an angst enjoyer like me) like he straight up wont be able to recover from that imo. or at least take a REALLY long time to recover but either way i dont think he should learn abt that kinda stuff. i do think it would be interesting if luz, eda and lilith found out tho

i also originally had the hc that caleb built the cat eye portal with the purpose of ambushing gravesfield once he was ready, but after the papa titan eye reveal in wad im not even sure who built that portal anymore- well either way caleb still wouldve wanted to build A portal ig (not the other one that led to the clawthorne house, i think that was probably evelyns)

also. the irony of both caleb and philip dying as smth that theyve hated (caleb died as a human and philip died as a "witch/demon", not literally the species in philips case but more luzs definition of "powerful magic user", and we can all agree that monster philip is demonic). i do think caleb was trying to find ways to turn himself into a real witch but philip killed him before he could succeed

Anways! Here is some art I recently made! I’m a super big Yakuza fan, especially of their latest game “Like a dragon”. I “fell in love” with the games new protagonist, Ichiban, and got really tempted to draw some oc x canon. 😭💕One thing you should know about me is I’m super big on the oc x canon community. I’m really supportive of other peoples ships and they make me feel more comfortable about having my own. So be prepared to get a lot of support from me if you have an oc you ship with a canon character too! We oc x canoners stick together!>:) 💕(especially Yakuza ones because I’m OBSESSED *screams*)

Anyways…. ( I need to stop saying Anways so much and expand my vocabulary!! GRRRR. ) Here’s some information about the random “girl” I just had to ship with our beloved Ichiban Kasuga. (But to be fair can you really blame me? Ichiban is super cute. I want to steal him and lock him in my basement. I’d provide him with food and water Ofc. )

She’s a HUGE flirt… a horrible one too. She makes everyone uncomfortable with her over the top sexual comments. She grew up with a ton of men and they insisted on teaching her their roots, so hence the reason she kinda flirts like a F Boy. (I mean half the time it works but on the other hand…… nah. The men she hits on are concerned. ) If I had to compare her personality to anyone in the Yakuza game series she would probably be the most similar to Nishitani.

- Yume usually fights with machetes, her go to weapon. She usually uses them for her more… “extreme fights”. When she just wants to give some one a good beating she’ll just pull out her brass knuckles and go crazy.

- She has a soft spot for children. She hates teenagers tho. Thinks they are the scum of the earth.

- Has a pet possum named Lulu at home. Literally she found the possum in her back yard digging through her trash and was like… “ Yep, you’re mine now.” and just took her in like that.

-Yume was a noncommittal person before she met Ichiban. She quickly fell in love with his bright and heroic personality and realized how attracted she was to him. Eventually she made the first move… by asking him to… “slay her dragon.” Obviously he didn’t get what she meant so she asked him on a movie date instead. Ichiban fell asleep on her shoulder. 😔👌💕

i'd say "gray inspired me to pick otome games back up so i could read spade alice (the new one he's in)" but that feels like cheating LOL. i also technically did my first gunpla shortly before ren Appeared to me... so while i've gotten MORE into it thanks to ren (and the thought of us doing them together), i also don't really count that. ren did get me hardcore back into art tho... like he's my oc so if i'm not making shit for him NOBODY is kjNKJSDFNKJNF. and he's making me focus a bit more on clothes than i normally would in my art AND irl (i want to look soooo cute for him~). and even though i haven't started YET, i do EVENTUALLY want to do mycology research for funsies. i know Enough about my own mycotoxin ailments, but anything beyond that is just like. what mushrooms used to grow outside my family's previous house and how RANCID they smelled lmao. i feel like learning more would get me closer to him, and i can see it as him infodumping to me! like that one post about leaf-cutter ants and fungus farms was WILD... i want to learn more shit like that!!!!

honestly, i think ren has helped me explore so many parts of myself that i don't know how to list it all. dude's like... 10% stuff from the original dream, 30% original stuff, 60% stuff taken directly or remixed from my life. ;;;; the 30-40% that isn't me is KEY and clearly makes him very different and his own person, but also... love to dump traumas on OCs to work through them~~~ (as a Kinda Funny Thing, i think i hyperfixated on Just Some Guy ren as much as i did Villain Doc ren.... i think i've gone from "nobody will be as interesting as a cool fictional character" to "just give me a cute retail worker who's real niceys to me, i want to give it a try" OKJSNFKJN) i've also found out i have the capacity for WAAAAAY MORE social interaction than i thought possible. i've been isolated since 2016, becoming progressively more socially anxious, and one of my 2023 goals was just to go from "regular chatter in one twitch stream" to "regular chatter in multiple twitch streams", which would have been a huge change in itself... and yet here i am just chatting it up w people daily!!!!! it's nuts!!!! i still obvs have bad days... plus i still can't really do one-on-one dms or chat apps like discord kJNDKJFNSKDJFN i'm gonna need Actual For Real Therapy to be comfy doing that again KJSNKFJNKJDFNS... but i've met so many fucking cool people since making this blog, and i love chatting in tags and replies and asks like these!! i even made the first "move" in multiple cases! it's a small thing... but to me, it's huge. and it's improved my mood SO much (sans this month yeehaw but that isn't selfshipping's fault lol). all this to say HIEEEEEE if you're reading this you're rad af and ilu hehehe

I absolutely get it I struggle a lot with my own Adam fic too. I barely got the dialogue and there are some parts in the overall story that are not planned out yet. And I want to give Adam some dimension too, he’s gonna have some softer moments but I’m frequently questioning myself because I’ll be sticking to canon with an exorcist!reader and their relationship dynamic is complicated too.

Before I started posting my fics here, I had a Wattpad account where I was writing long multichapter fics and none of them got finished. But sticking to one shots is easier and it gives me more faith in my writing that I can actually finish something. But that’s usually due to overthinking my own plots or eventually loosing interest in them or just… struggling because english is not my first language.

I’m gonna definitely check that fic out, the hyperfixation is strong and even tho my heart belongs to Lucifer, I’m always in need for an awful man who would treat me wrong lmao 💗💗

12. Promos

promos are a weird topic for me, since i often find myself sighing at a lot of them but like. i don't know what i expect from a promo either

i guess its just a side effect of watching promos go from "actually informational" to one of two extremes: "here's a bunch of graphics and formatting and potentially audio to go with it. no i won't actually tell you what my blog is about" or "hi, i'm just going to copy everyone else's wording" with optional addition of "but i'm also gonna make a joke about it so you know i'm Different"

which ofc i can't afford to judge, because eventually people are going to run out of things to put on their promos, and i've definitely made promos like that myself. maybe i just prefer when people found new rpers via seeing who other people are rping with? idk.

i do like when multimuses have multiple of their muses visible or listed on their promo tho

13. graphics

in a similar vein, i find myself sighing at a lot of graphics. even if i've made the former myself, promo graphics and post banners just feel unnecessary. if people in the reading hobby can't consider being interested in you without pretty(?) graphics that will either say the same information or be the only way to access said information but harder to read, are they really someone you want to write with?

that said, i don't hate them- i only really hate them when they deep fry, saturate, or just overcomplicate the original image and then proceed to be the only way to see the information. people need to be able to read that!

if you want examples of good looking AND readable post banners then look at @mixed-up-multiverse (it's text only) and @electricea (it has images of R.yuji and Skull on it but aside from being rotated the text itself is basically untouched)

14. icons

i dunno, i think i like icons? considering all the ones i've used here?

jokes aside, i really do like icons! they're basically completely unique to tumblr rp as a medium, serve as a reminder of the muse's appearance, and are a quick way to convey the character's face expression and tone without having to write it out. it makes dialogue-only rp work!

iconing itself is also fun! i've gone and iconed characters for friends like three times (hell, i'd probably make a rp icon blog if it didn't require finding and watching the source media)

...but man can i not stand gif icons and icons smaller than 100x100 px lmao

Blue Lock AU Thought Dump

Hi, I'm Comet and I have this massive AU that's taking up way too much space in my mind. So I'm just gonna dump it all here. This is basically a self-insert in second person pov lmao (if you recognise me no you don't)

I'm not a writer so it's just going to be random plot bits. Had to guess parts of the timeline to make it work...

Parings: possibly Sae x reader??? Idk lol, Ness is pretty cute

Timeline:

Age 2:

Your family moves into the Itoshi's neighbourhood

Your mom becomes besties with Mrs Itoshi

You befriend Sae (3) and Rin (1)

You enter kindergarten a year early (with Sae)

Age 5-10:

You attend primary school and develop an interest in data analysis while observing the Itoshi brothers' football practice (think Momoi from KnB)

Age 11:

You enter middle school with Sae

Sae (12) gets scouted and goes to Spain

You go abroad to study and get into coding (and eventually machine-learning + AI)

You remain close with Rin (10) but drift apart from Sae

Age 15:

Sae (16) briefly returns to Japan at the same time as you

The fated fight occurs and you take Rin's (14) side

While you understand Sae's pov, you do not agree with his approach and additionally blow up at Sae for being distant and not communicating

Communication with Sae completely stops

Age 16/17 – Present:

You graduate and return to Japan after deciding to take a gap year

You land a job as a lab assistant at a university research lab which somehow leads to you becoming a part-time manager/data analyst at Blue Lock

Notes:

Rin views you as a big sibling and calls you (name)-nii/nee (gender neutral honorific where?).

You are super observant and have an innate talent for spotting trends.

Where you study doesn't really matter but I did it with the UK (England specifically) in mind. Cuz I studied there and they have an extra year of secondary school compared to Japan. Also, the UK does year group cut-offs at September while Japan goes by birth year (I think...) so international students usually round down even if they can technically enter the year above. But you're smart so they put you in the year above.

Also, British slang is fucking hilarious and I want silly Manshine antics.

Unlike the US, it is really hard to skip grades in most other countries since the curriculums are so rigid but with this I can make Reader graduate early without making it too contrived lmao.

Also, independent schools (private schools but that means something else in the UK) tend to force you to learn all modern foreign language in lower years before you decide on your GCSE language. So I can have Reader have rudimentary understanding of French, Spanish and German. Full coverage baby!

The specific language you pick doesn't really matter but it's NOT Spanish (cuz Sae)

It's actually pretty much impossible to get a placement at a research lab right out of highschool cus demand is insane (I would know 😭😭) but let's pretend you have a super banging resume cuz you're smart as fuck idk

Still undecided on exactly when you join BL tho cuz I need Sae to be taken by surprise about you being there but I also want Reader to bond with the boys before NEL. Especially Shidou. So after third selection but a few days before Sae takes Shidou? Coincidentally, you are off-site for whatever reason.

Also, I want Reader to drag Rin out for the outing during the post U-20 break.

Hmm introducing Reader right after the win would also be interesting. Especially with Rin being in peak-angst mode. I want himself to do another behavioural 180° (more like 120°). Sae wouldn't be there cuz he'd be in the U-20 changing rooms. The outing thing could still happen if you exchange numbers with Bachira.

Actually, I like this idea more so I'm going with that. The Shidou bonding could wait.

Job description:

The next bits are completely pseudo-science and I'm bs-ing 💀💀

Anyway, the lab develops simulations of athletes as a training aid. They're collaborating with Blue Lock cuz where else can you find such a large sample size of athletes at a similar stage of development who also conveniently wear fancy biosignal-recording suits 90% of the time? Literally no where.

The only issue is that all the data is stored in servers located in the compound and, for data-protection reasons, need to be completely anonymised. For plot reasons, someone needs to be on-site most of the time to sort out server shit.

The data stuff is real in the UK and EU btw. That's why there's such a big fuss about certain US corps selling personal info. Not sure about Japan in particular tho but most BL participants are also underage so...

This is actually the reason they hired you lol. Especially since you're already familiar with the sport.

So you now have the job of making sure the data is being anonymised and transferred properly while the lab sends you occasional projects to work on. Which isn't too bad but Ego decided to make you a part-time manager to assist Anri (who's super busy with BLTV's explosive popularity) after witnessing your analytical skills.

At least it's amazing for your resume and you're paid EXTREMELY well...

HI sorry to dm you out of the blue but i tried posting my post on WEDNESDAY MORNING and the first time i deleted it after 12 hours of it being up and still not in the tag, my second attempt is still on my blog because i sent support a ticket about it (i deleted the book club tag off it tho), my third attempt, which is what's in the tag, was literally me copypasting the html into notepad, making a mostly blank post, adding the og post piecemeal, and seeing if it disappeared from the tag or not. it seems there were a few specific images that were the problem, two of which i deleted and the third of which i just used a different crop of the page and it worked. i don't know WHY those images were a problem but hopefully support will shed some light on it if they get back to me?? i saw you had trouble with your vashwood post so i wonder if other bookclubbers are having the same issue and i'm afraid i'm missing posts because of it v_v

Yikes, sitting here typing this out feels so...self serving x_x but hey, I like seeing update posts about people's lives, and it's not like I'm forcing anyone to read this if they don't want to. Plus, maybe act like a pressure valve, so I don't go off ventposting again (again if you followed me last winter/spring oh god i am so sorry)

And now...ooh, what do I say? My life's not super interesting right now. The web development stuff is going well. For those of you who don't know (which I guess is all of you, idk if I've told the full story yet)-- since march, I've been learning how to become a web developer/web programmer! Basically, the story is, my dad and my aunt both work in web development (she handles more of the client side of it, he handles more of the code-writing). When I showed an interest in having any kind of computer-y job, my dad started hinting at me that if I learned how to do what he does, I could take over some of his clients, wink wink, nudge nudge. I was kinda ehhhhhh about it for a while (working with my dad is weird for a lot of reasons, i wasn't sure I could get used to having a desk job, and also I didn't want to be a nepo baby 😐). But, after my life completely and utterly went to shit hit a low point, I decided to at least give it a try. Not like I had anything to lose, right? Especially not my dignity, ye gods. And as a then-25-year-old community college washout who's spent the last 4 years working part time at a grocery store and trying sometimes failing to avoid become a psych ward regular again...yeah, I had to be realistic about what my options were.

So I went online to figure out what I needed to know, how to learn it, and how fast I could learn it. And the answer to the last question is, way faster than you'd think! And I'm actually liking it a lot so far! working with my dad is weird tho and i still don't want to be a nepo baby lmao I'm trying to see it more like an apprenticeship, maybe. And eventually, hopefully I'll be able to completely take over some of his clients, even get some of my own, have my own business, my own servers maybe, and actually make more than poverty wages for the first time in my life. A guy can dream, right?

Other than that, not much going on. Haven't been doing any writing lately. Brain not cooperating. Everything's just...ehhh. The worries/obessions aren't as bad, but having to constantly bat them away is taking a toll. It's like a constant low-level background noise, which is better than it's been, but it also still sucks.

I'm working on it, though, My goal is to get out more. Go new places. See new people. Maybe even interact with them. Most of my worries/obsessions revolve around being different/morally lesser/less deserving than other people, and of being disliked/ostracized/not fitting in. gee, i fucking wonder why. And, as it turns out, if you have those preexisting beliefs, and if most of the people whose lives and opinions you see are random fuckos on reddit, it's gonna further convince you that people are going to nitpick and hate you for...everything I'm worried people will nitpick and hate me for (keeping it vague here).

Aw, shit, this is getting long. There's more I was gonna say, but maybe I'll leave it for next week. Consider this a trial run.
