I MADE AN AUTISM PRIDE FLAG I'M SO PROUD OF IT GUYS LOOK LOOK LOOK

ok so I'm not officially autistic (it would explain a lot) but my friend corn man who is tasked me with making a new autism pride flag because he isn't a fan of the few that don't use the problematic puzzle piece imagery (he likes the infinity sign, just not the colors). he said he'd prefer cooler and less harsh colors instead.

so this is what I came up with:

I'm very excited about it, and more importantly corn loves it.

I'll be honest I didn't really have any symbolism in mind when I made it, I just thought it looked cool. plus the white symbol and border on black remind me of undertale so take whatever meaning you'd like out of that, as well as the spectrum of colors, and the (cooler) more banner-like shape instead of the usual (boring) rectangle.

here are the stripe hex codes from left to right:

Okay, so I know that literally none of you care, but I'm retconning Gio's accent color. It was turquoise, but now it's going to be violet. Why?

Complementary colors, that's why.

Their skin is chartreuse, which I have taken to mean as the exact midpoint between yellow and green. This is #7FFF00 in hex color codes (thanks, Wikipedia). Its complementary color is #8000FF, the hex code for violet. I couldn't pass it up.

Don't worry, Donnie. I'm not stealing your purple. Violet's bluer than purple (#800080 according to Wikipedia).

Actual useful flag discourse: As a community we fucked up by just kinda collectively deciding that most pride flags should just be horizontal stripes to echo the rainbow flag because the intention is all well and good but the more flags we find we need - and especially as we come to embrace joke pride flags - the more inaccessible it becomes; it's literally impossible for some colorblind people to tell the difference between certain flags at this point, let alone tell the difference between the "good" and "problematic" versions of the same flags, so while horizontal striped flags are definitely NOT something to start WWIII over or sling callouts about we really ought to start introducing other symbols again for accessibility's sake
