Pluto Aquarius + the Power of your Stan’s

I usually follow pop culture because I think they are amazing examples to see what’s going on in our society.

Pluto has been Aquarius for a week now and you can feel the energetic shifts already. There’s already been some crazy ish going on and I think we’re seeing this transit in action already lol

Just a quick summary of the archetypes of this transit

-Aquarius is the sign of the people, groups, fandoms, social media, tech/Ai, thoughts and innovation.

-Pluto is the sign of transformation, rebirth, death, the underworld.

So Aquarius is the opposing side of Leo.

Leo is the performer and artist, the stage

Aquarius is the audience and consumers

You can’t have one without the other, they’re polarities

There’s been 2 recent big incidents that’s let me to this prediction.

1. Taylor Swift (Leo aka the artist) was just recently the target of a heinous AI video(Aquarius) where it showed her nude and doing inappropriate things(Pluto) on X(Aquarius). The Swifties(Taylor fan base) banded together (Aquarius) to get the account shut down I believe. Now there’s been a huge public outrage that’s even reached politics on what we should do about true dangers (Pluto) of AI(Aquarius)

Taylor has her NN in Aquarius 3h. So Pluto is transiting the house of the media, journalism, community. NN is destiny. No, I’m not saying this was destined to happen to her but due to this incident, will she be the example of the dangers of what lies ahead and what we can do to not let it happen again. Not just to her but to any of us, if ppl can make fake videos of you, that can be harmful and dangerous. NN leads the way and aqua is progressive. It wouldn’t surprise me if she became a spokesperson for the safety of AI. 3h rules over speakers. She’s also a Venus Aquarius, it makes sense now why Pluto is obsessed with her love life lol

2. Now this incident happened on Friday during the Leo Full Moon. So this means Leo moon was opposing Pluto Aqua. Megan thee Stallion released her new single “Hiss” which is essentially a diss record to the ppl who’s been trash talking her these last few years. Now Megan is an Aquarius Sun/Mercury 10h with a Leo moon 4h. So this single is poignant to her career, it’s already generating lots of buzz in the public(Aquarius) now here’s where it gets crazy. There’s a line in Megan song where’s she referenced Megan’s Law. Now if you don’t know what this is, it’s where you can look up sx offenders and horrible ppl like that. Now why is this important? Well, Nicki Minaj saw this as a slight about her husband and has went live and posted countless of threads(Aquarius) pretty much beefing with Megan, which included Megan deceased mother being brought up. Now Nicki is an Aquarius rising so Pluto is going through her 1h. Her as a person is going through changes, she has lots sag energy as well

Now there’s a Barbs vs Hotties thing going on (Aquarius). Now there’s always been rap beefs but I don’t know if it’s just me but this feels different, it’s personal in a deep malicious way if that makes sense. I feel it’s going come down to how these 2 fandoms responds to each other. I’m going to be real, it can get ugly between the fandoms

This leads to my predictions

-the people that support you will bè your army so to speak.

-the artist(Leo) will always be here but it depends on the connection the have with their Stan’s because they’re the ones who’s going to lift the artist up and defend them. We are in the era of the “people” that’s not just with famous people, it’s with you as well. Who are your ppl? I don’t care if it’s only 3 ppl on your team, having that support will be beneficial for you!

-I feel we are about to see a lot of Stan culture rise like never before. So yea, the celebrity culture (Leo)may be dying but the fan culture will be gnarly . We’re going from one extreme to the other yall lol. Celebrities won’t have to do really anything because there Stan’s will keep them relevant. So really celeb culture is “dying” but more like transforming into something else. I feel like the celebs who will be more in-tuned with ppl will be the most famous ones.

Barry would get jealous on very rare occasions. It would take A LOT to get him riled up. This person would have to be touching you while talking to you. And it had to be in a very inappropriate spot. Though, he does give that man a very excruciating death.

If you die, Barry defiantly can bring you back. He’s a member of the Justice League and has all the ties to bring you back. If you escape, I promise you will not get far. With Barry’s super speed you couldn’t get away from him, like ever.

Barry deeply wants to think that what he’s doing is right, but he knows that it’s not. He did few guilty when you first woke up and started hyperventilating because of how scared you were. Though, he tried to explain to you that this is why you need him. To make sure you’re cared for. So, he ultimately wouldn’t let you go.

After Barry lost his mother, he swore that he wouldn’t let his future wife leave him. Sure, you two weren’t married, but Barry was certain that you too were destined to marry and spend the rest of your life together.

If you were to scream at him, he’d come over to you and bury your head into his chest to muffle your noises. You shouldn’t have to scream at him just to show how upset you are. If you cry he’ll always cuddle you and sit you on his lap gently bouncing you up and down as well as rocking you back and forth. If you isolate yourself he’ll drag you outside of your room and cuddle you and apologize till you tell him why you’re hiding yourself away.

Barry super speed makes you unable to escape him. Unless you kill him, which I doubt you would do. Though, he can also use his speed as a good thing. If you two have sex together he can make his dick and/or fingers vibrate. He can also bring you whatever you want, whenever you want!

Barry would never hurt you. Not physical or mental. His guilt would eat him alive, and he could never live with himself.

Barry is literally your biggest fan. He gets really awkward when it comes to praise, but he would literally do anything for you. He thinks of himself as hero, obviously, and he expects you to be as clingy to him as he is to you.

I just read a re-post of one of my post from a non-gaylor, and I would like to say it was a really good, respectful answer that explained their point of view perfectly and, by any means, this post is an attemp to start beef or anything.

Being said that, one of the points that really standed out to me was how some fans would "force a queer identity on her" (not quoting them, just summarizing) and how twisting lyrics to hold a narrative or using certain interpretation of a song, was not healthy, in reference to the connection I made to the album midnights and Taylors queerness.

Now, I would like to ask, isnt twisting a lyric to fit a narrative how people started saying that Taylor was the "argumentative antithetical dream girl" she refers to in hits different, when is crearly (and is a question of grammar and basic language comprension) refering to the muse of the song?

Bet I could still melt your world, argumentative antithetical dream girl. Are you kidding me?? How could you posible say this makes sense if she was refering to herself???

Then, the paternity test constantly done by swifties to look for the muse of a song is nothing more than a certain interpretation of the lyric to fit the narrative. So that is not a thing exclusive to gaylors, almost every swiftie does it.

Now, that is what I like to call a double standard. I am not shaming the original autor of the post that have inspired this text, but pointing out a more societal problem. Very often, speculation and shipping and reading into things, if done in a hetero way is okay but do not dare to do it in a way that relates to queerness.

About the "forcing a queer identity on her", there is a thing, done through history called flagging. Safo was doing it in ancient Grecee, so did Oscar Wilde and more recently Elton John or James Dean. There are signals of the queer community to signal discretely to other lgbtq+ that they are one of them.

Taylor is not subtle about her flagging. She went out in a bi pride colored jacket to sing "and you can want who you want, boys and boys and girls and girls". She did sing about wearing someone like a necklace. She did spray paint her paint the bi colors to her gay pride music video. Use the lyric hair pin drop more than once. She puts lesbian flag colors as the main lighting in her world wide tour. And much much more. Is obvious, really out there for the people who want to see it to see.

Once you see that, you have no option but to hope she is queer; because if she was not, she would only be a straight girl that harmed the queer comunity by taking all the simbolisim that lgbtq+ people have built througt the ages and making it hetero to the mainstream, erasing the very little history the comunity has managed to create in the opressed world that it had have to endure.

So, even if I think that the answer to my previous post was really well written and respectful, I do not think it is a really nuance take.

tw: I’m horrible at trigger warnings and am not good at wording them, but just know that I discuss a lot of really frustrating and harmful points made by Hetlors and horrible insults directed at Gaylors. Take care of yourselves.

I’m going to go through each of his points and point out the flaws of such points.

*gets out notes*

Okay, so. The first thing he does is call Gaylors conspiracy theorists. Anything Gaylor-related is a conspiracy theory, in his view. Not only that, it’s a conspiracy theory comparable to QAnon and other far-right conspiracy theories, a conspiracy theory with “no merit or factual basis,” a conspiracy theory that is “delusional” and “meth math.” Gaylor theories are “based on misinformation and false beliefs,” according to him.

Whew. This is a very strong reaction. First of all, comparing Gaylor to QAnon is so ridiculous. I mean. Come on. Really? Second, we know that Gaylor theories do have evidence. There is so much, even just within that article. I reblogged just before this a list of all the evidence made in the article. Also, what is the “misinformation” that he mentions? Gaylors just point out the evidence that we have and let people draw their own conclusions. We aren’t misrepresenting anything (most of us, anyway).

Alright let’s continue. Swiftologist then argues that Gaylors have a distrust of the narrative Taylor has created and the “many times she has stated she is not part of the community.” Gaylors apparently do not respect Taylor or her songs and aren’t really Swifties at all—just people who are trying to prove that she is gay.

Okay I really want to know this….WHAT ARE THE MANY TIMES SHE HAS SAID THAT SHE IS NOT PART OF COMMUNITY?! SHOW THEM TO ME! She said that once. *Once*. And that still doesn’t mean she is saying that she is straight. Furthermore, we do trust Taylor. If she says she’s straight, we’ll believe it. I mean we’re the ones looking at all the tiny details of her songs. We’re the ones drawing the connections. Hetlors doesn’t do that, and yet Gaylors are the ones who don’t trust Taylor’s narrative? Like??? What kind of argument is that?

Then he says that Gaylors are trying to out Taylor.

But we aren’t. We really aren’t. We’re just looking at what TAYLOR HERSELF has said and done and connecting the dots. We’re not trying to spy on her personal life or anything like that…we’re literally just looking at her OWN lyrics that SHE put created, knowing what the reaction would be. It’s just. This argument from Hetlors makes me laugh every time.

Okay so THEN he lists a bunch of crazy stuff Gaylors have done. I don’t want to get into them because I agree with the Swiftologist that they were crazy. But, at the same time, it’s not like you can blame the entire Gaylor community for a few Gaylors’ actions and use that to debunk Gaylor theories. That’s just not how it works.

He continues by listing different…logical fallacies you might call them? Different things that are common with conspiracy theories: false pattern recognition, confirmation bias, etc. I won’t get into that right now, but this is a large part of his argument later, so keep that in mind.

He makes a critique of the way the article compares Taylor to Chely Wright. He says it’s a “false equivalency.”

I would say that the author, Anna Marks, was simply pointing out an example of closeting and the effects of staying in the closet on one’s mental and emotional health and an example of coming out and the effects of coming out. I personally don’t think she was saying that Taylor is very similar to Wright…

Then Swiftologist talks about some Gaylor evidence presented in the article. He doesn’t actually give a reason for why they are unconvinced but simply states that it is “so delusional to me that people think this is true.”

He mentions the YNTCD music video and claims that only a straight person could have made it and that it was cringey and even that it portrayed LGBTQ+ in such a stereotypical way that it was “deeply offensive.” I mean. It was definitely cringey. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that only a straight person could have made it. It’s honestly just so odd that he attacks Gaylor theories for their lack of “merit or factual basis,” and yet he literally uses the cringy-ness of a music video to say that Taylor must be straight? I know it was largely a joke, but he was also serious, and for some reason it just bugged me.

Marks talks about how the YNTCD song and music video were mostly perceived as performative allyship but she raises the question of whatever they were genuinely expressing herself. Swiftologist responds to this by saying that this is a false binary (performative allyship vs. Taylor is gay) , but I don’t really think so. If Taylor is straight and she wrote that song and made that video, she probably came at it from a decent place, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t performative. (Honestly if Taylor is straight, a lot of the stuff that she’s done I would consider to be very iffy, so I think Marks raises a good point here.)

Swiftologist then goes on another rant about Gaylors, asking why they don’t just believe Taylor and literally calling them “delusional 9/1 truthers.” Look, I get that he’s upset, but he doesn’t have to insult and name-call and be generally immature. As Taylor would say, why you gotta be so mean?

He continues to simply state that all the evidence provided is not proof and that Gaylor theories are delusional, but he does also say that the Cruel Summer lyrics—“I don’t wanna keep secret just to keep you”—could easily be explained by the fact that Taylor CHEATED ON JOE and/or was desperately avoiding the paparazzi.

Like. Lemme get this straight. He would rather that Taylor be a *cheater* than be gay? He thinks that saying she is a cheater is perfectly fine but saying that she might be gay isn’t. I have no words.

*manages to regain my bearings*

Alright, so then Swiftologist (oh my god I just realized that I could simply call him by his real name, Zach, instead of typing out that long name, but now I’m committed) says that he has an OPEN MIND and is open to different interpretations versus the author of the article, who is a “crazy person,” who is completely close minded, apparently. He says, “point me to one piece of solid evidence in this article.” He then continues with his point about open-mindedness, saying that he agrees that Taylor songs COULD be about women (they probably aren’t, but there is a potential there) and because he believes that it means he is a generous and intellectual and open-minded human being, according to him. But Anna Marks, on the other hand, like all other Gaylors, is *completely* close-minded and has not even THOUGHT of the possibility that Taylor could be straight.

Like jeez. Does Swiftologist not see the hilarity of this argument? I”m seriously starting to lose it.

In fact, I’m going to take a break and continue where I left off in the morning. I don’t even have the energy to revise this so hopefully there are no glaring mistakes.

ok so basically the suspended me for having too many unused urls, which personally i think is crazy i mean were my saved urls really such hot commodities… WHO was jonesing for fucking. richardpapengirl. wonked. livvypalmer. jugheadscheherazade. jessaarons. these are loser urls only i could have loved that’s why i had them…. MY theory is to blame a swiftie. because one saved url i had was offinaforeignland (lyric from timeless) which i didn’t think anyone wanted due to it not even being a canon url… but it’s the only thing i can think of that i had that anyone would want and swifties are vile creatures so why not blame them!! ALSO. i believe someone was out to sabotage me because when i got the email about being suspended i also got THIS email at the same time to the minute

i got the don’t kill yourself email… so it feels very like somebody was trying to report me to Big Tumblr any way they could. that or there was some horrifically coincidental timing going on. my last post last night DID say something along the lines of “something horrible just happened to me in my bathroom” which i can see someone reading as worrisome. to clarify in case anyone needed it, that post was in fact actually about diarrhea. not self harm. so yeah. just in case we needed that explained 😐

ANYWAY so the email was like. hey somebody reported you for having unused urls, delete the blogs you don’t use and we’ll un-suspend your main page. so i deleted them and i replied to their email like heyyyy please give me my blog back i did what you wanted…. and i decided to wait til this morning for them to do anything. nothing happened this morning so i went to fucking. tumblr support this afternoon and submitted an appeal like heyyy i would loveee to have my blog back I’m not breaking the community guidelines anymore…. and i’ve decided to wait til tomorrow to see if they do anything. um i love to blog tho so here i am right now… hope they give my main back this is an awkward situation i’m not deleted but i can’t use my main i don’t jive with this at all…. we’ll see what happens tomorrow idk

anyway that’s my story <3 really sucked when i woke up this morning and wanted to make a gif compilation post about not wanting to go to work and i couldn’t…. evil….

I do really hate a lot of her fans who push queer identities on her and also the fans who say that she is the best ever lyricist? I mean a lot of the time people say that about their fav artists bcs they love the lyrics but a lot of swifties whole heartedly think she has *literally* has the best lyrics. A lot of her fans also force others/try to force others to listen to her music which is very fucking annoying

But taylor swift herself? I personally dont like to indulge in celeb drama but I have heard that she paired up w a racist artist for a song, that she promotes eco friendliness and uses a jet plane and yeah shes not on the top of the most harmful list but she still emits a lot, and that she refuses to call out isreal (and also her calling her music punk rock feminist rage is just her vomiting words without knowing what they mean tbh) also one of the main reasons is that shes just so disgustingly popular even her good songs feel ruined bcs I hear them and see them way too often and it gets on my fucking nerves.

I dont hate any of my friends who listen to her but if you do anything of the fans I described your getting blocked lol

Im posting this as a rant, so. Don’t like. DONT READ‼️‼️

anyways, I’ve been seeing a bunch of Taylor Swift stuff on my TikTok FYP lately, and it’s either people bashing or supporting her. Personally, I don’t really care for Taylor. She doesn’t affect me or my life and I could care more or less about her music.

But.

In the process of this, I’ve seen a lot of swifties (that how you spell it??) defending her by saying that the people who dislike her and openly hate her are misogynistic and anti-feminist, and have no real good reason to hate her. Which, first of all, is an absolute dog shit of a statement and a VERY arrogant take on this entire ordeal to begin with!?

I’ve only got a couple things to say about Taylor Swift, and none of them are particularly nice. So if you don’t want to read ahead, scroll. Because I’ve got a LOT to say in regards as to why I dislike Taylor.

( Statement 1)

“Taylor Swift is an ethical billionaire guys, she’s not a bad person!!”

Every time I read this comment, or hear it, from anyone. (including swifties) I lose a brain cell and lose faith in humanity. Firstly, an “ethical billionaire” does not exist. Ethical, by definition, has three different meanings. But the definition that I assume most people refer to is “avoiding activities or organizations that do harm to people or the environment.” And billionaires, do not give a shit about that.

I want you to process the word billionaire. A word referring to a person who makes BILLIONS every single damn year and make millions every single minute. 24 hrs a day. They make SO much money, that if they were to ever give a FRACTION of that amount to the public, specifically the homeless, our homeless problem in the US could be fixed. And when I say fixed, I mean there would never be any more homeless people in the United States of America. I am aware it wouldn’t be fixed immediately, don’t put words in my mouth, but with time, probably very short if we put more effort into the problem, there would be no homelessness epidemic within a couple years. The fact that Taylor Swift is probably the RICHEST woman/singer/songwriter of the 21st century and has more influence than any political candidate or party will every have in their life adds to the ridiculousness of this statement and baffles me every time I remember it. To prove my point, there are about 2700 billionaires in total as of 2024. 759 of those billionaires are from the USA. One of which, is Taylor Swift herself.

If you are a person who goes by the slogan “Eat the rich” and you still believe that Taylor Swift is an exception to this quote. You need to get your head out of the clouds and come back to reality. Because she’s in no way an exception to this, just like Biden isn’t. Just like Trump isn’t. And just like any other fucking politician that exists isn’t an exception!!

Also, do you know how much fucking co2 this woman uses every year for her private jet flights??? If you don’t know, here’s a graph:

She produces my co2 admissions than the average American does in a YEAR. Specifically for Airplane travel. Considering the number, that’s fucking ridiculous. She could just as easily use a public Airliner and get a first class ticket if she wanted to avoid fans and have privacy. If we were to produce as much of carbon dioxide this woman makes on average every fucking year, im pretty sure this fucking planet would be dead. Or at least worse off than it already is.

Remember how I gave out the definition of ethical??😊 and how it refers to a person who avoids companies or products that harm the environment or its people??😁 Yeah… pretty sure she does the EXACT FUCKING OPPOSITE!! 🙃💀

(Statement 2✌️)

“She represents feminism and for women’s rights!!🥺🥺”

…no she doesn’t. She represents only one type of feminism, WHITE feminism. Feminism, by definition, means “the advocacy of women’s rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes.” Which includes ALL ethnic minority women, including, white women. Feminism includes the advocacy of ALL women, no matter the race, class, culture, or age. It’s for all. White feminism on the other hand, is not. This expression of feminism focuses on white women and purposely fails to address the existence of minority women and other women lacking privileges. Taylor Swift is KNOWN, quite literally, to use this to her advantage! Every single time an interviewer asks her what she thinks of her haters or something related to this, she brings up feminism and cry’s wolf about the hard time she’s had in the industry as a woman.

Don’t take this the wrong way though, I’m not saying that she HASNT experienced hardships within the industry!! But she clearly is using those experiences to gain sympathy and support. She’s been in the music industry since she was 14 YEARS OLD. She knows what she’s doing. And she clearly knows HOW to do it.

She is 34 years old, she’s a grown ass woman. She has ACCESS to social media and global and economic issues. She doesn’t speak on them though. She could. And she did. She has more influence than the damn president for gods sake. Remember when she voiced her political position in the presidential election with Trump and Hillary?? No? Well let me refresh your memory. When she voiced herself as a Democrat and quite literally insulted Trump for being misogynistic, he RESPONDED and said “he liked Taylor Swift 25% less now”

….HUH!?! SHE got the damn PRESIDENT of the USA (at the time) to fucking respond to HER. Do you realize how unlikely that is for ANY other celebrity if they were to do that!?!

VERY unlikely.

The only reason he even responded was because HER statement affected his campaign and votes.

To emphasize on how much influence she has, if you still don’t believe me, when she started dating that star football player. And then her fan base found out, almost every single football game she has attended, sold out. Jerseys?? Sold out. Popularity?? Skyrocketed. Suddenly every swiftie in sight is a professional football coach and is a fan of her boyfriend’s football team. 🤯🤯

If you realize how INSANE that is, most of her fans, who probably had never even CHEERED for a football team, is now cheering for his.

Also, remember the Barbie joke told by Jo Koy?? Yeah. And Taylor Swifts reaction to his joke?? Almost every editor on TikTok and every user on every social media is screaming and posting about it. Like— not even an 24 HOURS. And there’s already edits about the golden globes. And everyone’s talking about “feminism” and the “importance of women’s rights!”

…..

But no one’s talking about the Palestinian women?? No ones talking about the women in Congo?? No ones talking about how Palestinian women don’t have access to menstrual products?? Or how they don’t have access to morphine or anesthesia to give birth?? Or how Congolese women are raped EVERY hour??? How so many of these women in so many of these places are being abused and treated??? No??? Instead we focus on the reaction of a women to a poorly made joke by a stupid man. I’m not saying he had the right to do that, I’m only saying that instead of focusing on the reaction of a women who has more influence than the US government themselves to a poorly made joke about her relationship, we should focus on REAL LIFE ISSUES!! She’s a grown ass woman who can stand up for herself. She does not need ANY help whatsoever.

He’s gotten held accountable, and I’m satisfied with that, but now that it’s over, your attention should be to the millions of women in the countries that are struggling, including ours!! Advocate for that. Don’t advocate for a woman who makes more money than 15 millionaires combined and doesn’t use her influence to empower other women, specifically women in minorities.

I’ll say it louder for the people in the back, SHES NOT A GOOD PERSON‼️‼️

(Statement 3️⃣)

“Her music is revolutionary!! Her songs are so beautiful and have so much meaning!!🥹🫶”

This is the only statement where I’ll consider its validity. You see, back when I was younger, I was a Taylor swift fan, but not big enough to be considered a swiftie. Her music was impossible to avoid and I, admittedly, still enjoy some of her songs. And some of her new songs are somewhat good. But… some of her songs… are just… not. 😬

The first part of this statement though, I kinda agree with. Due to her music and little influence she had on me as a kid, I started going down the rabbit hole of how feminism and women’s rights came into play with her music. O diverged from there and began getting into women’s rights in minority communities, and how they have less privilege than other groups of women. And it continued from there. At that point, I had learned about Taylor Swifts wrong way of advocating for women. I learned that you needed to do much more than say that the reason that so many people dislike Taylor Swift is because they are anti feminist and are misogynistic.

As I said before, she pulls the focus on her and in the process covers up other women’s accomplishments. Did you know that the first ever Native American woman was NOMINATED for best Actress??? No?? Well, here she is:

Lily Gladstone, a Native American woman nominated for best Actress in 2024. You wanna know what she did as soon as she got her award?? She spoke in her native language, Blackfeet, and said that she won’t be the last Native American to win an award. Why aren’t as many people talking about her?? She was in the same room as Taylor Swift?? And all the people who made those edits with the Barbie soundtrack, wheres the edits of her??

This woman has made HISTORY. And yet no one is talking about it.

Getting back on the topic of Taylor’s songs, while some are good and well-done. They aren’t really… anything special???? Most of the songs shes written are mostly about her past relationships.

(Which, by the way, I’ll talk about a little more in a bit)

And other topics, like revenge and love. And when you listen to her songs, they’re, admittedly, meh. Now, I’m guilty to listening to some of her songs from a long time ago. I mean— I literally owned the reputation album! I loved the songs cause I thought they were cool, but eventually, they became annoying. There are a couple of her most recent songs that I mostly enjoy, I’m pretty sure the one that goes like: “I see right through me”?? Idk but the only reason Ik it is bc it’s remixed with “always an angel, never a god” 🫠

Otherwise, I haven’t listened to much of her new music.

Now, on the topic of her dating history….Yeah. You can’t even defend her here swifties…

Now, in total, she’s dated about 12 publicly known exes. And has dated about 15-20 men. And I know who 3-5 of them are… Apparently she’s dated Tom Hiddleston and Zac Efron as well, but the rest I’m not sure I know. From what I can gather, from a specific Reddit post, Ty to this person btw, did math on how many songs she’s written about heartbreak and/or her exes below: 👇

The real issue I have with her dating history is not that she has written almost every single one of her songs about them, but mostly to the face that some of them are REALLY controversial. Specifically, Matt Healy. Who is a known racist and neo-nazi. And was known to be these things BEFORE they started dating. And was circulating around the media for a while. To the swifties who defend her bc she “broke up with him” after this, THAT DOESNT MEAN JACK SHIT SHE STILL DATED HIM WHEN ALL THAT SHIT CAME OUT.

as some else who grew up mormon and is bisexual and had her sexuality speculated before she ever had the chance to came out, it is INCREDIBLY harmful of yall to be dedicating entire blogs to proving someone’s sexuality. how you all don’t see that is insane to me, if she IS bisexual it is incredibly gross to be trying to force her out of the closet.

taking a queer meaning from someone’s art (aka, YOUR interpretation) does not mean they are gay. trying to force that on someone you don’t know is not cool.

Hey anon, I am fully aware that that is a big reach, the person who added it knew that it could be a huge reach and openly said that if you read the post. So while I respect your opinion about my blog, and this communities blogs, I cannot respect you calling us gross for talking about our queer interpretation of her art.

We are NOT trying to force her out of the closet. You do not see us commenting on Taylor’s best friends, and “boyfriends” accounts that they need to “get married already” or commenting on Taylor’s posts “Break up with him already 😩”. That is SWIFTIES. They get all in her business and harass Taylor and her friends, all because they want more information about her personal relationship that they don’t deserve.

So no anon, it’s not cool to force someone out of the closet. We would never pressure Taylor to come out. Is there some accounts that probably do? Of course, but we are not those accounts. We care about her happiness, and her happiness both in love, and in general, cannot be found in Evermore, or Folklore. Nor can it be found on Midnights with songs like Anti-Hero, Lavender Haze (that 1950’s shit they want from me), You’re on your own kid, and even sweet nothing.

You’re telling me anon, that Sweet Nothing doesn’t sound like one person wanted only sweet nothing. They didn’t want ANYTHING from her at all, in exchange for their love? That instead of a contractual arrangement, she fell in love?

Maybe you should look at your own heteronormativity and how that affects Taylor’s sexuality. Maybe you’re a part of the reason she’s in the closet in the first place… I beg of you anon, go check out some of the amazing Kaylor Blogs I follow and look for yourself how much our interpretation of her songs is the one she means. As a bisexual yourself I know you can see beyond the heteronormative window, so please, do try.

i think the tiktok swifties are missing the point of the mv— the way I’ve been interpreting it, at least, is that part of her self loathing manifested in discomfort with herself & shame about her weight (“I hosted parties and starved my body” from you’re on your own, kid, plus her conversations about her experiences with disordered eating in miss americana) and she can look back now and realize she was being cruel to herself through that. the tiktok swifties seem averse to understanding any form of metaphor and have been taking issue with that and the sexy baby line for really shallow reasons. they probably watch the video and go “but she’s not fat! and calling yourself fat if you’re not fat is mean to fat people” and no, she’s not ‘fat’, but that’s not the point- the point is that we’ve created a culture that constantly forces people (especially women) to agonize over their weight and criticize themselves because they don’t fulfill some undefined and unattainable “ideal” and that’s harmful to everyone. idk I’ve been fat my whole life and it’s just frustrating to watch people try to police her or demonize her for this because simply existing in our bodies has become so stressful and watching this video that (to me) makes it seem like she’s learned to be kinder to herself was really nice! i wish they would do the same

I’ve noticed there seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding going on in the notes of that post? I really don’t think anyone is trying to make fun of you or implying you did anything wrong :)

As far as I understood it, vai-swifties was just making a joke talking about Tommy’s gf, implying the drawing was about the cc’s real life relationship triangle. It seems to me you misunderstood that as a joke implying Tubbo had a girlfriend, they clarified they were talking about Tommy, and that initial misunderstanding then resolved itself.

After that, I believe kateaky made another (frankly odd) joke implying Molly was in fact Tubbo’s gf, to which you misinterpreted as a fact and asked for photo proof, they could not provide any, and the conversation dropped off there.

Then, separately, you posted that meme edit with the text ‘sorry’, to which bronze-bits-babyyy made another joke reply to it asking “but are you really sorry”; it seemed to me they were just wanting to add on to your bit in good jest :)

I don’t think anybody means any harm here, or that they’re expecting you to say anything specific. They just wanted to make jokes on your posted art and it spiralled into a misunderstanding 👍

kateaky is my bestie and she is literally the only one in that thread who's joke i was comfortable with bc 1) i know her and 2) it was the only one that was clear sarcasm to me

vai swiftie im sure is lovely but i personally dont appreciate when ppl bring up unrelated things on my art especially , the fanart had nothing to do with molly and the comment felt almost dismissive or a bit judgemental

bronze bits is also lovely im sure , i was definitely feeling defensive & the tags werent meant to be aimed at them specifically . hope that guy is well they were deffo just being silly

but in general the whole thing struck me as odd and made me uncomfortable . my art is something i care about and i dont like when people try to make it about something its not and that includes jokes about things that are unrelated

speaking of 1989... i really hate that swifties on twitter and some on tumblr are making so much of that era about taylor's eating disorder, saying that she was constantly miserable and talking about how it must be so awful for her to relive that era. in advance i'm sorry if this causes a flurry of anons in your inbox, i don't mean to start anything, i just want to share my experience and i'm not comfortable to do that on my own blog right now.

i have had an eating disorder for a few years now, but i've usually been able to keep it in check. this past year, though, i've been struggling much more than normal. i don't want to share too much but there were many times that i didn't eat anything for 48-72 hours either because of other mental health reasons or because i didn't think i deserved to, as is very common. however, this past year has also had some of the best moments of my life, largely because of the people i surrounded myself with. i made a large group of friends where i don't feel like i have to put on a fake persona to get along with them. i was able to get out of my comfort zone and go to social events and gatherings i previously would do almost anything to avoid. and in many ways, despite the struggle i had i would not want to take back this year because of how many happy moments i've had.

and i view taylor's 1989 era in a similar way. yes, she was struggling with an ED but she was also breaking records right and left with her album, moving to a brand new city, and making such a large impact on the general public as well as the music industry. she perhaps was not doing well in private on the eating front, but i am positive there were other bright moments in her personal life at this time too, that she may have not chosen to share with the public (and understandably so).

all this to say, it's very naive and harmful to reduce a person's life at any moment to the mental health struggles they are going through. as humans, we should give each other grace to be more than our lowest moments and this applies to people like you and me as well as taylor.

YES YES YES! i've said this before and completely agree! im so sorry you're dealing with that and going through a particularly rough patch rn, sending you love and always remember to be patient with yourself.

fans have always had a very black and white view of taylor (bc they dont see her as a person, rather a character or solely a form of entertainment etc etc), so when she mentions one bad thing, they assume the entire era was miserable and a terrible experience, the whole time. not a moment of happiness or anything. which just lacks so much common sense because you can struggle in one aspect of your life but that doesnt affect all the other aspects of it. plus she has said she's struggled since she was a preteen, so she had her ED when she was in debut era, fearless era, speak now and red era, but they never said she was miserable and awful it was to relive those? so why only 1989? it just goes to show swifties always want to see her struggling in some capacity because it makes her an interesting story to them.

hey! i have posted about it. i personally think that people who are offended and hurt by matty are valid and they have a right to feel that way, and no one should tell any marginalized or targeted community to quiet down or not feel how they do.

i personally don’t care about him enough to feel hurt by him, and it’s not because i take what he has said lightly. he’s a man who exists who may not hate-crime people irl and may not actually say that shit to people in his life etc etc but the “joke mock leftist” angle isn’t for me personally and i think it’s rather harmful in a way that it enables people who actually will go out there and hate-crime others because they don’t feel shame and a musician “mocking” them won’t make them feel bad. i understand the joke and the bit and why it’s funny but he’s taken it to extreme and if people irl feel hurt and targeted, then that means it’s time to stop and he should understand that. like stop it and don’t be so dense.

as far as taylor, i don’t like that she is associated with him. im sad about it but i know i can’t change anything so im just waiting for this to get over. it may last longer than anyone expects but i personally don’t think so. you can call me a cupcake with a parasocial rs but i believe that she doesn’t stand for racism, sexism, and so much more stuff like that. i think she is giving him grace because of multiple reasons, and if i were her, i wouldn’t. also, i think fans who are upset and angry have the right to feel that way. but the people using this situation to make threads and gain likes and rts and views on youtube are…… making his actions about her and holding her accountable as if she committed them is….. like i have seen more rage towards her than him.

I can't deal with the two extremes at this point. I've seen some act like Matty is a godsend that never did anything wrong, because it was all an "act". I've seen the other side act like he murdered someone.

There is a middle ground. He might just be an immature asshole that made shitty edgy jokes. He wouldn't be the first. He won't be the last.

More than anything, and this is just my opinion, I feel like a lot (not all) of Swifties are upset, not because of what he said or did, but because he makes Taylor look bad and it calls her activism into question. Some of them seem to think liking an activist makes them an activist or morally superior.

This is probably all over the place, but that's kind of how I feel. Matty is an ass, as always. But Taylor was never an unproblematic champion of marginalized communities.

I think at this point, fans might just need to accept that maybe they aren't amazing people, and maybe it's okay to just like their music or...stop buying it. Taylor breaking up with Matty tomorrow won't make her a better person.

I actually love that my ask can be a place to vent and share opinions so no apologies needed for the length. But I agree, there are two extremes which kind of just seem to feed each other... and it's not constructive at all.

It also means that if you say something that disagrees with one extreme you are likely to be treated as the other. Though in this case I've gotta admit that I've seen more of it from the "hate matty" side than the defend side - though this could just be the side of the internet I am in.

And with that kind of mindset it means that people who are in the middle (which I think is the closest to the truth, not to idk pat myself on the head or anything) and recognise that Matty has fucked up, and that we should criticise some of his actions, while also maintaining that he is not actually racist/antisemitic/islamophobic/thedevil/etc... those people are being ignored. Or worse, they just get bunched with the other extreme side and called racists, white-feminists, and yknow the rest.

Not to mention that I do think Matty in his statement to New Yorker was onto something with how he said "let me get as close to X as possible, so you can see how good I am"... kind of like, look at me calling out what everyone else is calling out to prove how moral and good and worthy I am. When, in fact, all of those reactions are doing nothing because ultimately Matty (in this case) is actually not a racist, has stood for things that need standing up for, and is actually not actively harming people. Beyond hurting feelings of people online (?).

(and I guess here I understand the wish from some fans that he addresses things or apologises, but I can't speak on t1975 fandom account since I have not been a part of it for the many years they have been active)

Either way, to me it seems that people still have not learned to listen/read for themselves instead of reiterating the things they read without forming their own opinion.

hi! i was wondering if you had any idea about the age-old rumors that katy perry and taylor swift were supposed to share a kiss in the yntcd music video?

hi! i don’t really think anybody has new insider information about if it was actually going to happen outside of the rumors that were floating around at the time, but i will give you a historical rundown from a fandom perspective.

basically a rumor was floated during lover era that katy would have a cameo in the YNTCD music video and that taylor and katy would kiss in the video.

***i have memories of it being a substantiated rumor but i forget why that is. if i remember correctly i think there was a ‘leaked’ music video storyboard with a sketch of them kissing? but i can’t locate the originating picture or tweet… can someone who remembers or who has researched it explain a little more about this?**

to give some context, this incident was coming after rep era where katy had her people send taylor’s people a physical olive branch to be delivered on the first night of her tour, as a symbolic “peace” offering to taylor, after several years of them having a ‘feud’ spanning 1989 era and early rep era ‘over stealing backup dancers’ which is what the public ascribes to the song Bad Blood (incidentally this ‘feud’ coincides with the ‘feud’ taylor had with karlie in 2017, where karlie and katy were spotted out getting sushi together with others (‘sushigate’)— so the idea that katy sent a token of peace to taylor at the beginning of rep tour transitioned nicely into karlie also going to rep tour, and the construction of a slow burning reconciliation narrative), as well, there had been more social media reconciliation in june 2019 when katy posted a plate of cookies (that taylor sent her) and captioned it “peace at last”

so back to where we started, this katy kiss rumor made it to twitter and tumblr and fans both swiftie and gaylor alike started expressing various concerns, basically that ~because taylor is an ally and not actually gay~ or ~if she doesn’t plan on coming out but does this~ that this kind of action would be harmful, especially in the context of her very very rainbowy lover era rollout.

and as we all know taylor rarely addresses fan concerns but she actually did post about it, while concerns over the rumor spread:

this was followed up with a lot of media coverage

as you can imagine, a bunch of people took this to mean she was saying ~no homo~ but i think most of us on here were quick to point out that she was wording it in a way to position herself on the gay side of the grammar.

here’s something i posted about it awhile after it happened, part of which i’ll paste below:

i think there can be debate over whether taylor actually intended to have this scene, or if just floating a rumor was a way of testing the waters, etc, and i remember at the time a lot of people joked with meme pics of tree on the phone saying she was frantically calling the editing bay to cut the clip 😆 but i’m not of the opinion that this ended up being so consequential. although the masters heist coming on the heels of taylor having kissed a woman in her artwork certainly would’ve been something
