Big brain idea with the “not long before the wedding Uncle Kimby gets ‘napped by Priscilla’s ex Guy Thibault ransom note drama” plot after someone was telling me about a scene from the TV show ‘You’ …
(Also courtesy of some boss OST “Brand X Music: Boundless Drama, & Cruel Errors!)
At some point, perhaps clues, or a threat…
Priscilla (& the gang) walk into a room and there’s wall or desk is covered with playbills and newspaper clippings and photographs of Priscilla. From highlights of her career to gossip columns. And what’s worse is not all of them are from her golden era in Paris, but also some of the concerts when she was in Milan, Vienna, London. Possibly any additional concerning personal info and her scandals too. Like this was maliciously done by someone truly deranged and wanting to do damage knowing where it would hurt. And toying with the theme of the dark side of stardom.
Dun Dunn dunnnn.
Also ironic how intention can change a gesture, and interpret it as seriously creepy vs touchingly thoughtful. I say that because this ‘collection’ is based on a thing wayyy back I had the headcanon that when Priscilla & Uncle Kimby finally do reconcile, Thomas takes out a box or scrapbook of sorts he put together of all the highlights of Priscilla’s career as an actress. As a way of showing he was still proud of his niece’s accomplishments, and was an anonymous spectator or patron and did his best to try and support her from afar. Who knows perhaps these papers were confiscated by Thibault? Or Grimsby. Yeah maybe he cameos there’s a lot to do here asdfghjkl.
