Just now realizing I might have asked you a similar question in an ask before, sorry!
But I wanted to add on to it with a funny little thing
Geeen Lantern (Hal): Hey, Cap, it's been bugging me but I gotta ask, what's with you and your evil nemesis's daughter? You two a thing like Bats and that scary assassin lady?
Captain Marvel (Billy Batson, spitting out his juice): W-WHAT?!
Cyborg: Yeah, what's up with that? I've seen her on the news before, she doesn't seem evil like her old man, and she seems really fond of you. Hiding something from us, man?
Super-man (who totally wasn't eavesdropping the entire time): Oh? Did the Captain finally find someone? That's great! :D Tell me us more!
Batman: Alright, listen very carefully, Captain, when it comes to dating a villain's daughter-
Captain Marvel: AND IM OUTTA HERE BYEEE-
Just the awkwardness of the league trying to give Cap dating advice is hilarious to me
Oh my gosh this is absolutely hilarious!
I'm a sucker for the Justice League giving Cap awkward dating advice, especially in this sort of scenario where they are honestly way more clueless than they realize.
Because I honestly feel like after a certain point of knowing each other and fighting together, lots of the JL members would be inclined to "help" Cap find someone. They all think he's a catch but that he's just shy about romance (only a few are aware of how desperately he tries to avoid it). They want to see him happy, but mistakenly think a romantic partner would help.
So when news hits that he's built a rapport with the beautiful Beautia Sivana who is very openly flirtatious/in love with him, they all want to know every detail.
Half of them (like Batman) are warning him about not being lured in by a pretty face if she's related to a villain. The other half are trying to hype him up and convince him to ask her out. The ladies of the JL are trying to advise him on how to treat a lady on a date.
Cap can't escape. Every time he saves/helps/speaks to Beautia there is a new wave of interactions just like this.
Is their advice helpful? Probably not as much as they think it is.
Are both Cap and Billy mortified? Yes absolutely.
Is everyone on the jl mortified when they find out about little Billy being privy to their love advice? Also yes.
This is so funny to me and I love seeing stuff like this! It's just so fun!
Thanks for the ask!

Beautia Sivana
I've been wanting to draw members of the Sivana family, so I went ahead and did a little something for Beautia first.
Tumblr media
Know that I am still trying to learn how to render 😅 Finding a good pose also took some time, but I think the result isn't too bad

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A sequel to this comic i did earlier this january
this was also based on a conversation i had with @cerealboxlore
Freddy would be so pissed that people would think that Beautia is his mom, making Sivana his Grandpa xD (also indirectly making Sivana Jr, his uncle lol)
this was made during art block, sorry if the quality sucked xd

sketch page update: assorted Shazam characters and potential cast members for Action Comics: The Ophidiad
For Shazam we've got Vlarem, Oggar, Tanus and Blaze, Desira Sivana and her lieutenant Doctor Dynamo, plus Misters Atom and Mind, and a couple takes on Sobek since I'm still taking myself out of drawing him like Vector the Crocodile as a counterpart to Tawny.
Vlarem was the Wizard's champion identity (anagram of "Marvel" natch) and Oggar was a god ousted from Shazam (then "SHAZAMO")'s line-up, while his name is also a clear corruption of the word "Ogre". I can kinda see Oggar as a companion of Baal and Vlarem's rival. Vlarem himself is still the Canaanite Jebediah, but Mamaragan fills the role of the Wizard, so what happened to Vlarem between his war with Oggar and Mamaragan's empowering of Hurut , Aman and Teth.
Blaze and Tanus/Satanus are the children of Baal, returned to Earth in the modern day in pursuit of Baal's contemporary incarnation, Billy. Tanus uses a civilian identity as "Colin Thornton" owner and publisher of Newstime, while Blaze lived as Angelica "Babe" Tanaka, frontwoman for The Children of The Night. They both ended up during afoul of Superman after leaving Fawcett for Metropolis.
Desira Sivana is Thaddeus's wife, composited from Queen Desira (Golden Age Queen of Venus), Venus Sivana, and possibly Aphrodite? Mister Mind is Venusian as well, so it all kinda ties together. Beautia Sivana is an outright demi-god and the leader among the Sivana siblings, growing even more powerful with the transformative powers of the Black Sivana Equation...
The Ophidiad's a concept I've been cooking for a bit. It's a hypothetical Action Comics arc focused on Jimmy Olsen and Lex Luthor:
"After altering his DNA into a hypothetical copy of his father’s mythical “Thorulian” ultra-humanite, Lex finds himself further transformed into a host of Ophidian, the Orange Light Entity of Greed. How a shapeshifting snake man capable of summoning an army at a thought, Jimmy Olsen takes up his old Turtle-Man mantle to fight back. But as residual Doomsday virus effects alter Jimmy for the worse, all of Metropolis find themselves in a Kaiju fight between the distant cousins…and Superman nowhere to be found!"
Hector Hammond, Lionel Luthor, Pete Ross, Lana Lang, Steel, Devour, Hiro Okamura are part of the cast, but Captain Comet, Sand Superman, and Hope (from Superman: Lost) are potentially involved as well.

A quick over view of the different love interests of Billy Batson/Captain marvel from 1939 - 2022
Cissie Sommerly
Tumblr media
Cissie was the neice of Billys boss at whiz radio, Mr Morris. Billy had a crush on her from the moment he was introduced to her and they seemed to have started dating pretty soon after that but I can't find much information about her.
Beautia Sivana
Tumblr media
keep in mind that In the golden age Captain marvel and billy were two different people.
Less of a love interest and more of one sided attraction on Beautia’s part. the daughter of Dr Sivanna was infatuated with Captain Marvel. This never really goes anywhere but it is implied that Cap may also have developed feelings for her but that plot line is then dropped and left unresolved.
Tumblr media
Its also worth mentioning that Golden age Captain Marvel is repeatedly shown to be very nervous around women
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl
Tumblr media
Probably Billy’s most well known love interest, They began their relationship in the Justice Society of America after Courtney discovered his identity, though it was short lived as billy broke up with her in JSA#59 after Jay Garrick asked him to stop seeing her because of their perceived age difference. Billy chose to break it off with Courtney rather than reveal his identity to the rest of the justice society.
Tumblr media
Danica Williams
Tumblr media
Danica is the Flash of the future and is able to communicate with pervious flashes through the speed force.
Danica alludes to having a Crush on Shazam multiple times throughout the series. And it appears that Billy feels the same way, after Danica confesses to him they begin a relationship. Although it only ever occurs in Justice league beyond 2.0 as far as I can tell.
(yes she confessed to him in front of aqua mans dead body)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This comic is set in the same universe as batman Beyond and Billys age is a bit unclear but they're both supposed to be in their late teens in this I think.
more under the cut
Delila Curtis
Tumblr media
Due to Cupids interference Captain Marvel fell involve with Billys new boss at Whiz Radio. Unfortunately for him she’s married and that ends the story as well as Caps crush.
But it seems as though she wasn’t a very good boss because Billy outwardly doesn’t like her and describes her as bossy and sharp-tongued. Cap refuses to believe that Billys mean boss is the same woman he that he loves so he just assumes that they’re sisters.
Tumblr media
Helen Fidelity
Tumblr media
Not a love interest but I wanted to include her.
In Shazam! The monster society of Evil, Billy and Captain Marvel are once again two separate entities and within the story They encounter a news reporter that billy has a puppy love crush on. She on the other hand is annoyed by his existence, and in a weird twist of fate she is attracted to captain marvel who is entirely indifferent to her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hope McDuffy
Tumblr media
In Strange Love Adventures Billy is invited to Hope’s mothers wedding and because he likes her he asks Clark Kent to help him get ready and attend the wedding with him posing as his uncle. The wedding gets crashed by Hopes mothers ex and Shazam and Superman save the day but the wedding is unfortunately ruined. Billy makes it up to her though and gives her a necklace.

According to Beautia Sivana, in the early 20th century, Sivana was one of the most brilliant and promising of the young scientists of Europe. Idealistic and naive, he encountered endless rejection for his world-bettering inventions and mankind-improving schemes, from cynical politicians and crony industrialists who liked the world just the way it was. Finally penniless, outcast, and half mad, the widowed scientist gathered his two tiny children, boarded a rocketship of his own creation, and withdrew to the planet Venus. There amid the overwhelming dangers of the fierce jungle planet, he raised his children to young adulthood
“They have to look like they’re good, but that’s true of a lot of gangs. There’s a reason they mostly start as neighborhood protection groups, usually from other gangs, or just because Law Enforcement refuses to do their jobs,” “They can go bad, and usually do, but a lot of them do help out the people in their territory even after that point, and so the people cover for them, not just out of fear of retaliation, if they don’t.”
“While an unfortunate comparison, given some of their actions I have been made aware of, that is not inaccurate. It might be closer to say that the Protectorate are ultimately a governmental organization, and those tend to dislike non-governmental bodies infringing their area of responsibility, their ‘territory’ if you will. Following the law, they would be constrained, but this is a case of ‘who watches the watchman?’
The objective of heroism is to reduce the total suffering in the world. Reductionist, I know, but ultimately it is the only reason one seeks to perform acts of heroism, in a general sense. This is why offering your life in exchange for others' is considered the ultimate form of heroism in many ways; by taking that suffering onto yourself and then dying, you destroy suffering for several people. Soldiers who throw themselves on grenades are considered the greatest of heroes, for they willingly throw away the joy in their future to save their friends.
Does this hold true when you force another to take that bullet? Or if there is only one person who will die? How about scale; ten for a hundred? Ninety-nine for a hundred? If half-but-one of the world threw themselves willingly to their death to save the other half-and-one, would that be in line with the ideal of heroism?
If you knew that ten people would die - were absolutely certain of it - unless you killed half, would you? With the assurance, the absolute certainty, that none would ever know? That those five survivors would go on to live happy, fruitful lives? Would you cut those throats?
As the specific case introduces complexities, the answer becomes more difficult. At what point do you become a machine; at what point does the cold calculus of life wash away the urge to reduce suffering in the world?
This is why heroism, in reality, never goes smoothly. Reality is made of specific cases, and for every grenade jumped on, there are ten cases of ten lives to cut short. Reality is constructed of complexities; therefore, simple ideals cannot survive.
One must compromise; take away from the beautiful ideal of heroism in order to best fit it to reality. Or one will suffer, and all too likely, break

whats an obscure shazam fact you want more people to know about?
What a great question!
If we're going with obscure facts I would have to say that I think more people should know about the fact that Mr. Mind was once sentenced to death via electric chair (a teeny tiny electric chair made especially for him) and his body was put on display in a museum. (It was later discovered that he'd didn't die when he snuck into the museum to steal back his radio)
Another fun fact would be that for a time the Sivana family (Dr Sivana and his 4 children Magnificus, Beautia, Thad Jr, and Georgia) lived on Venus with Beautia being the Empress of Venus.
If anyone else has any fun obscure Shazam facts I would love to hear them!
