Stede/Ed/Izzy, OMC/Izzy — An enemy captain captures the Revenge and chooses Izzy as his songbird

Either an enemy captains who just discovers it or who's always been obsessed with hearing Izzy sing since the moment he first heard it, years ago. The Revenge is captured and while everyone is off to the gallows/Navy/etc, the enemy captain picks Izzy as a personal slave, sexual or not, he wants Izzy to sing for him forever.

Maybe, Izzy even sings for him on deck, or whenever the enemy asks for it, in exchange for sparing the crew from harm. At some point, the songs become too personal and it's basically Izzy bearing his soul to everyone within hearing range.

+ The enemy makes Izzy sit on his lap while he sings, petting him on his hair etc like one would do an actual bird singing for you. + Non-con etc is fine! As long as it's a happy ending for the Revenge crew & has a Steddyhands endgame.

The recent announcement of the qsmp election event and q!philza confirming in canon that he is an anarchist kinda rattled something that's always been sort of spinning around in my brain: the fact that both c!emerald-duo (from DSMP) and q!philza (from QSMP) have had their lore tied in with the lore of the Antarctic Empire on SMPEarth. The thing about c!emduo and q!philza is that they are (as mentioned earlier) full-blown anarchists who vehemently oppose government in all its forms, but ae!emduo were, in fact, the co-leaders of an empire.

Now I don't actually know an awful lot about what went down on SMPE (from what I understand, it just sort of...ended?), but like, bear with me here---imagine SMPE is a world of actual empires: citizens, kings, soldiers, armies. A world capable of full-scale war. ae!Phil and ae!Techno are the leaders of one of the most powerful empires in all the land. Then, flash forward some years (decades? centuries?) later, and they're both anarchists completely disillusioned with government as a whole and actively fight against it when they see fit.

What happened? What happened between the birth of the Antarctic Empire and the beginning of the DSMP/QSMP that made them completely give that up and start to oppose what they once supported?

Was it something they witnessed? One too many peaceful villages burned, one too many mangled bodies found beneath the rubble, one too many of their own men imprisoned, tortured for information, then left for dead?

Was it something that someone did to them? A beloved friend caught in the crossfire of a war; an ally they thought they could trust sticking a knife in their backs in an attempt to seize the Empire for themself; a foe that was simply too strong, too ruthless, too power-hungry to be defeated, much less reasoned with?

Or was it something that they did? Something they did that, for the first time, made their own stomachs turn. Made them question if it was all worth it. Made them realize that it never was. Were they ever at odds? One person begging that they halt their progress immediately while the other doubled down, insisting their actions were justified. Did they fight about it? Threaten the other with arrest for treason? Threaten to leave the other and never, ever look back?

What was the final straw? What makes an emperor become an anarchist?

Stede/Izzy — Stede helps a Izzy avoid an abusive ex

Izzy is being harassed by his violent, horribly abusive ex. It took Izzy a long time to escape the relationship and he ended up in the hospital multiple times. Now that he’s finally out he thought he was safe but his ex found him. He doesn’t want to lead him back to his new place.

He’s at least not in an isolated place. There are people around but most are in couple or groups. And then he spots Stede.

You know where this is going.

He asks Stede to pretend to be his partner until his ex leaves. Stede, almost refuses but really looks at Izzy who is still healing from the abuse, too pale, too thin, shaking like a leaf, etc and agrees.

He then proceeds to passive aggressively destroy the abusive ex all while keeping Izzy protectively tucked against his side.

Stuff happens, Izzy and Stede fall in love and live happily ever after.

+ Stede takes care of Izzy after, buying him food or coffee or something. + Izzy can’t seem to force himself to pull away from Stede’s side even after his ex is gone. + Stede uses and keeps using little terms of endearment and Izzy refuses to admit to himself how much he loves that.

"People on the same level as him?" Tim asked. He was glaring at the woman.

"High schoolers," she finished, giving Tim a look.

Dick's hands were folded as if in prayer, pressed against his mouth. "I understand you point, Mrs. Gonzalez, but this is my reasoning; there is not an eighth grade class in this country that can handle Danny. He curses. He drinks. He smokes. I love that kid and I'm doing the best I can, but he's a feral goblin child and you, or any teacher, can't control him."

She looked like she swallowed a raw egg, but Mrs. Gonzalez had been Danny's social worker since the paperwork went through, and was a long time friend of the police chief in Bludhaven. She'd been there for the Toast Incident; she knew how Danny was. "...Why don't we consider a homeschool program first? With after school and weekend activities."

Dick flashed a smile. "That's better."
