If it's ok to ask headcanon asks still, I'd love to ask how in a situation like your Rules to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, how would all the Mafia skellies act?
Roulette
He can’t stay in one spot so he travels around alot. Just seeing how the world has turned to shit.
He needs something to focus on so he’s trying to find a good cup of coffee, it's really one of the only things keeping him going.
He uses his magic a whole lot more in the apocalypse to save ammo but his weapons are also really well maintained and taken care of.
Sniper
Is still very optimistic and tries to make the best out of his situation. He travels with his brother and always seems incredibly happy despite the situation.
Takes very good care of his weapons and only ever needs one shot to kill  most zombies.
Tries to help anyone the two brothers come across. He still wants to believe there is good in the world.
Colt
He thrives in this environment. The two brothers are staying at their small manor but Colt likes to go out and beat in the skulls of zombies whenever he gets a chance.
Colt likes the violence of this new world but he’s slightly disappointed that it has proved that humans suck. He never really liked humans but seeing how bad they can actually be when it's the end of the world is not what he wanted.
He doesn’t use guns anymore and instead just focuses on his magic. He never really liked using guns anyway and he’s still holding onto the ideal of the legendary Skulls.
Musket
He tries to keep everything at a level of normalcy as best he can. Obviously some things have changed since the apocalypse but Musket still keeps a clean house at the very least
The two brothers are more like thugs for hire now. If someone wants or needs extra protection from the hordes of zombies, need to get new gear or want to take out someone you come to Musket to strike a deal.
Musket also focuses on keeping Colt’s paint studio stocked up. He knows it makes Colt happy to paint and Musket doesn’t want his brother falling into a depression.
Carbine
Starts a colony that looks after survivors. He was always good at being in charge of other people and really he can’t help himself from a good project.
His only regret is Rifle leaving, they had a big fight but Carbine just buries himself into his work to forget
Carbine is tough but fair, he’s a good leader and the surviving colony thrives in the current world's conditions.
Rifle
Is a recluse who has turned his garage into a base. It has actually worked out really well for him. He uses his mechanic skills to make traps and spends most of his day tinkering
When he's bored he can snipe some stray zombies from the roof or take a trip to the tip to try and scavenge for more parts.
Rifle is incredibly lonely and welcomes basically anyone into his safe haven but if you double cross him you are in for a painfully slow death. He does let most off if it’s minor offenses like stealing some food or a few rounds of ammo though.

Fred Harman (1902-1982) was an American cartoonist. He began his artistic career drawing strips for the Kansas City Star before working alongside future animation greats Walt Disney, Ub Iwerks, Friz Freleng, and his brother Hugh Harman at the Kansas City Film Ad Company. He eventually moved to working at Disney’s Laugh-O-Gram Studio. Laugh-O-Gram soon went bankrupt and rather than join Disney in Los Angeles like Iwerks, Freleng, and Hugh had or continue a career in animation, Fred Harman found his success in comic strips, creating the Red Ryder series alongside writer Stephen Slesinger and working on it for 25 years, drawing upon his own experience growing up on a Colorado ranch. He returned back to his hometown of Pagosa Springs in 1940 and founded the Red Ryder Ranch. He retired from Red Ryder in 1960 and spent much of his retirement years painting cowboy western scenes. He was one of the founders of the Cowboy Artists of America, and at the time of his death, he was only one of 75 white men in history to have been adopted by the Navajo Nation. For most modern audiences, Red Ryder is memorialized through the 1983 film A Christmas Story, in which the protagonist Ralphie desperately longs for a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model air rifle for Christmas.

100 Films of 1952 (100+??)
So... I guess I just can’t tear myself away from this foray into 1952 films! Even though I hit the 100 mark, I’ve got a few more on a list I’d like to watch. The count could end up as high as 120. For now...
Film number 101: Carbine Williams
Release date: May 1952.
Studio: MGM
Genre: Drama
Director: Richard Thorpe
Producer: Armand Deutsch
Actors: James Stewart, Jean Hagen, Wendell Corey
Plot Summary: The real-life story of David Marshall Williams- the man who invented the M-1 Carbine semi-automatic rifle. As a young man making moonshine, he gets into a gunfight with federal agents. Sentenced to 30 years hard labor, he's an obstinate and uncooperative inmate, but he slowly changes under the guidance of warden Capt. Peoples, who encourages his talent as a gunsmith.
My Rating (out of five stars): **½
I know nothing about guns and I have no interest in them, so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this film. It ultimately didn’t have a great deal of focus on guns, but it was about as blah as the prison food Jimmy Stewart's character ate.
The Good:
Jimmy Stewart. Yes, he was too old for the role, but he’s Jimmy freaking Stewart. He’s always captivating and charming no matter what he’s in or who he’s playing.
Jean Hagen. It was fascinating to see her in a completely serious role; I only knew her from her exquisite comedic performances in Singin’ in the Rain and Adam’s Rib. The script here gave her meager scraps to work with, but I loved watching her anyway.
The Bad:
It was pretty bland visually. Richard Thrope as a director is competent but not especially interesting.
The whole thing was kind of boring beige. There was no sign of any MGM shimmer. I’ve noticed that MGM’s grittier noir-ish films are kind of lackluster overall. The studio was much more adept at musicals, epics, romances, and folksy serials.
There were a lot of structural problems. The film spent too much time on some parts of the plot and not enough time on others. The beats felt disjointed and off.
The whole set up of Captain Peoples telling Stweart’s son about his father’s criminal history. Why couldn’t Stewart tell his own son about it? I was distracted throughout by this. Apparently, the film was based on a story the actual Capt. Peoples wrote about Williams. It helped me understand the choice non-diegetically, but inside the world of the film it just felt weird.
The relationship between Peoples and Williams was not fleshed out enough. It didn’t feel like Peoples’ “teacher’s pet” trust of Williams was earned.
Lack of coverage about the gun itself. I never thought I would EVER complain about a film not having enough guns in it- but it took until the final minutes before Williams actually worked on his famous rifle.
24 hour leave? They used to give some inmates 24-hour leave?
Stewart was clearly too old for the role. The man playing his father was obviously only a few years older than Stewart. This wasn't a huge distraction overall because Stewart is so likeable as an actor. It could still be jarring at times, though.
Jean Hagen’s role was a typical Classical Hollywood paper thin characterization of a long-suffering wife. She had few lines and spent most of her screen time either worrying or proclaiming her unwavering devotion.

Medal of honor pc hd
Tumblr media
For half of the game, players assume the role of a Navy SEAL DEVGRU operator codenamed Rabbit. The campaign takes place in Afghanistan, in 2002. The game’s single-player campaign was developed by newly named EA Los Angeles studio Danger Close Games, which was a rebranding of the old EA LA Medal of Honor Airborne team. During the opening days of the invasion of Afghanistan, a squad of United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), callsign Neptune, composed of operators Mother, Voodoo, Preacher, and Rabbit, the player character, are sent to meet with an Afghan informant codename Tariq, who has intelligence that the CIA is interested in retrieving. The game begins during the immediate aftermath of the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon. Specifically the seizing of Bagram Airfield, the Battle of Shah-i-Kot, and Battle of Takur Ghar. The story may be based on events that occurred during Operation Anaconda that took place in March 2002, six months after 9/11. The players assume the role of a DEVGRU operator code-named “Rabbit”, Delta Force sniper code-named “Deuce”, Ranger Dante Adams and Apache helicopter gunner Brad Hawkins. The storyline follows several Tier 1 Operators working under the National Command Authority in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. The game features a single-player campaign, in which the player will control multiple characters from both the “Tier 1” and “Big Military” perspectives. When the player has taken damage, the edges of the screen glow red. Using cover helps the player avoid enemy fire or recover health after taking significant damage, as there are no armor or health power ups. A player can be positioned in one of three stances: standing, crouching, or prone each affecting the character’s rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. The single player includes some usable vehicles such as helicopters, jeeps and a quad bike. MEDAL OF HONOR ABOVE AND BEYONDĪN/PEQ side rail-mounted laser pointer, the MP7A1 Submachine gun, and the AT4. The game introduces new weapons and technology to the Medal Of Honor franchise, including the M4A1 carbine, M16A4 assault rifle, the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System. It includes the kinds of objectives and tasks issued in real life such as raiding terrorist hideouts, hostage rescues and undercover operations. The emphasis is on realism, with EA going as far as to bring in real Tier 1 Operators from the United States military as consultants. The game breaks away from the World War II setting of previous games in the series and is instead set in ongoing War in Afghanistan.
Tumblr media
The 2010 Medal of Honor differs from the previous Medal of Honor installments. Medal of Honor’s single-player campaign uses a heavily modified version of Unreal Engine 3, and its multiplayer uses the Frostbite engine.
Tumblr media
The game is a reboot of the series, set in modern-day Afghanistan. Players step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to fight a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile conditions of present day Afghanistan. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators from this elite community.
Tumblr media
They are experts in the application of violence.

Finally! It's a shame to see Wildstar go, but on the other hand it is amazing to see how the community sticks together. We had hopes till the end, and it's so nice to see that we still have, now with the news about the museum preserving abandoned games. Who would have expected that so many people would gather and put so much effort into this farewell collaboration for this awesome game. I can't describe how overwhelmed I am about all the amazing art of you guys. :D BTW feel free to upload your artwork now, if you haven't already. ;-D
In case I didn't place your character near someone else, I'm deeply sorry. In the end, time pressure was real and I probably forgot one or two requested placements. It were just too many entries and I don't want to start about the technical difficulties on this. ^^; Using brushes was impossible, which is my excuse for these weird shadows. XD
This is only a very small JPG in bad quality, since the original one is way too big to upload. You can get the original sized one here:

A letter to Southern Grimvault
I guess this is my ‘Good-bye to WS’ post.
After the initial announcement of the game’s shut down two weeks ago, I haven’t had any idea how to properly express my feelings about Wildstar being close down. Seeing other people’s posts here and lurking on the many groups in discord of the news, I just felt a giant wave of sadness come over me and I couldn’t properly express that.
But I guess I’ve gathered my thoughts enough to where I’m writing this, so. It’s mostly for me, just to come in terms with everything. So take it as you will if you do read it.
P.S. It’s Long. P.P.S I’m not good at writing, so pardon for any odd phrasing or grammar lol
I used to farm the area for heartichoke (and later bloodbriar when it became more profitable) late at night w/ my mechari (To my best son, Romulus). It was a very routine thing I did when I didn’t (at the time) have a guild to partake in activities with.
Passing through Conqueror Square, around 10-11 pm PST, when the only physical activity you could see in Illium was at best, 2-4 people, was a normal sight for me as I headed to the transporters. (Rapid transport? I’m stingy) It was the end of a day for most, but the beginning for me as it was my goal, through this repeated and really obsolete method at the time, to gain more plat.
When loaded in, I put my mini-map on maximum size so I would be able to discern which crops to farm and others to stay away. (I didn’t use a mod to pin point which was which. I never had felt the need to.)  Minimized all quests windows, locking them into place so I didn’t accidentally click on them when I was moving around. I ignored nchat for the most part, but did take the occasional peek when curious.
All the while, I would be listening to the movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel”. Why that particular movie to this map? I really have no idea, to be frank. I don’t own a physical copy of the movie. And I’m more of a fan of Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox really. But this was the movie that always played in the background as I farmed. Eventually, the movie came synonymous with this map. It was just automatic for me to put it on-- late at night, with my earphones plugged in. Any extra noise in game, except the sfx for moving around in the world, would be the only thing I would be listening to for next 2-3 hours.
As the third party host site played the movie in the background, I farmed in S. Grimvault. I definitely do not have the lines memorized by heart for this movie despite me listening to it on repeat. But I’ve connected parts in the movie as to what areas in the map I would be located at the time. The first lines, “It is an extremely common mistake: people think the writer’s imagination is always at work...” would indicate myself being near Vigilant Incursion, just before the Strain Wall event on Dommie side. I’d run up the hill and make my way around the perimeter, closes to the wall as I looked over whether or not there was something I wanted to farm there.
“Ten? Are you joking? That’s more than I’d pay an actual dealer -- and you wouldn’t know chiarascuro from chicken giblets,” line would usually be before or about around the Charlie Company Crash area, Exile side. To “Don’t flirt with her.” approximately around the entrance to Northern Grimvault between the two Exile and Dominion outposts. If the line was heard before I past the area, meant I made good time, or if a little after, meant I needed to pick up the pace. (Why it mattered whether I hurried along with farming had no real consequence, of course I didn’t want to spend the ENTIRE night there.)
The lines were sorta like markers for me, the starting point being at the Dominion drop in, all the way around through Exile side of S.Grimvault and through the perimeter of the Strain infested areas before coming back around to Vigilant Incursion. Given this was the path I always took when farming, I took to noticing and exploring things. Only natural for me. Since no one was ever really there, save the occasional leveling player or a bot attacking at monsters. (I swore the first time I saw a bot, I thought legitimately it was a real person... In the back of my mind I kinda did hope it was a real person. Goes to show how lonesome of a person I was then lol).
I know I could have just searched google and typed up things like “Locations of Elite Bosses in S.Grimvault” or “What areas do Champion Bosses spawn in S. Grimvault” but my intention was never to fulfill the achievement quota when I was there. Finding and fighting bosses was a side quest I gave myself when farming. (The extra gold never hurt.) And they became part of the farming routine as I gathered and found more of these bosses and where they were located. (I only ever tackled fighting the rock and strain champion bosses, the charging rhino creature and the Eldan bot were some I couldn’t last long enough to win against.)
The entire routine itself, this farming in Southern Grimvault, was something I did look forward to in the late evenings. I would probably be done around 2-3 am, willing if I didn’t stay longer. Eventually, all the prior set up just became a blur, like, you’ve done it plenty of times, so much so it goes by like ‘that.’ At this point, as I farmed, I thought about things, stuff pertaining to WS in-game, lore, or character development.
One thought I repeatedly went back to in terms of WS was the economy, that if more people played, and how heartichoke and bloodbriar would soar as hot ticket items on the market. I imagined myself to be one of those stuck-up vets (at farming) who knew all the good spots and places to gather said items, being a little greedy and garnering enough plat through this practice to reach the milestone of 1000 plat. ( A personal goal <o/ )
Or story ideas for my characters, coincidentally most of them concerned Rom because I always played him during these times. How he’d go to the market the next day, after rigorously spending the day/night prior harvesting these crops, how he’d haggle with merchants and make a pretty plat. How he’d send Kalua to university in Cassus, or help fund/support his brother Remus’s endeavors with the Torine. Just little plot/character ideas that came into mind at the time.
By the time I hear the credits roll in the background, I’m back near Vigilant Incursion. Upon arriving, I make a quick visit to the renown vendor, sell my extra loot and organize decor/items I’ve gotten and head back to Illium. Most times I’d head back into housing, but recent (recent as in months before when I still farm regularly) I’d just be in Illium and log off. I’d call it a night and that would be the end of it.
I suppose, why I’m writing PARTICULARLY about this personal routine rather than the times I’ve RP’d or done raiding, or gone through the story of WS, or even the drawings I’ve done for the game... is that-
That I thought I’d always be able to come back to it.
When I felt sad, or down, or wanted to relax after a long day, late nights farming in Southern Grimvault always gave me a peace of mind. The map was vast enough that I could spend 2-3 hours, while listening to a movie, to farm, explore, and goof around. I’d be able to process myself through this simple action of swinging giant claws at a plant or garnering a couple gold from a boss.
But now that this is something that won’t happen anymore, it’s a bit sad to think that I won’t be able to enjoy that routine. Of course there will be other things, but specifically this and the things I’ve experienced through Wildstar, a whole lot of it...
I am going to miss it. I knew it was going to be gone at some point, but I wasn’t afraid to hope a little. Just a bit more, another day, another month, a year, even longer, for content that may have come to bring it back to its feet. But in the end it didn’t. And come Nov. 28th, the game will shut down and WS will be gone. It’s my first mmo, and I guess I’ll never really get over the deal that it is over...
But as everyone has said at this point, the memories of the game, making friends, enjoying the content, how long you’ve been playing either at the beginning or near the end. It’s something to keep despite all the sadness about the news. All of that, I’m really happy to have been through, being able to meet new people, doing things, having fun.
So, I’ll close this off saying:
Thank you, Southern Grimvault. Thanks for being a map that let me feel like an explorer and enjoying the aesthetics you had to offer with your golden fields of towering exanite to your strain infested pulsating caves.
Thanks everyone, for all the content you create and your passion that kept the game alive through the years.
And to Wildstar for its crazy sciency magical space cow-boy world that I took great enjoyment in.
The giant 10 foot robot appreciates it.

I'm very saddened by the closing of Carbine Studio and Wildstar. While I didn’t play a ton, I really enjoyed the time I did spend in the game questing, collecting, and doing the events. It was beautiful and different, and I feel bad for the devs and players who kept the world alive. I wish everyone safe travels on the next part of their journey.
Above are a few of my favorite screenshots and outfits for my Mordesh spellslinger, Zeildar Ariesh.

So Wildstar came to an end for now. My girlfriend and me stayed until the end and man, we still feel devastated. It's so sad how things with Carbine turned out. This game didn't deserve it. Nonetheless this is not a goodbye for most of us. RP will live on and fans are working very hard on private servers. See you on the private servers, cupcakes.
