"Curse-Rotted Greatwood"
Dark Souls 3 fanart from 2022. Found this boss to be very cool even if the fight itself wasn't the best.

Finally finished the #SixFanarts challenge! I thought this would take me a week for each character but it ended up taking 3 months. 😭 I'll post more high-res images of these soon. I, of course, had to draw the tiny version of Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin. The request for the Loathsome Dung Eater was to draw, "The Well-Regarded Poopoo Man." The result was the Dung Eater turning over a new leaf to become a used steed salesman.

The meme template is called "Man vs Giant" or alternatively "Yhorm vs Ashen One". It shows Yhorm the Giant from Dark Souls 3 facing off against the Ashen One, the protagonist and player character.
Yhorm the Giant, who takes up most of the image, is captioned "gender dysphoria", to highlight how powerful and all-encompassing my gender dysphoria can feel when it attacks me.
The Ashen One, who appears tiny in comparison in the bottom left hand corner of the image, is captioned "One Topic At A Time videos about trans memes". For those who do not know him or his meme videos, OneTopicAtATime is an amazing ally, the world's giggliest man, & a thoroughly wholesome human being.
He can also occasionally be summoned to cover a sub Reddit or posts on Tumblr in his videos by chanting: "OT summoning noises."

Lucatiel ramble 2: electric boogaloo
Yes I know the joke is outdated, but whatever. Spoilers once again for a game that came out a good while ago.
So I was thinking more about how the whole Lucatiel quest goes down, when I noticed something. The trophy for inheriting Lucatiel’s equipment is unique.
For one, the other trophies depict quite conclusively the NPC in question, but not Lucatiel’s. In Lucatiel's, It shows someone wearing the equipment *Lucatiel gives to the player*, which wouldn’t be odd on it’s own, but stay with me here.
Throughout the game whenever you summon her, Lucatiel is using the equipment you inherit from her as well as a Mirrah shield, which you specifically do not get due to one already being in a hidden chest in earthen peak.
So if the Trophy is meant to depict the namesake, why does the person in Lucatiel’s *not have her shield*?
I think that it’s actually the player there.
In addition to not having the shield, the figure depicted is actively swinging the Mirrah Greatsword, being only one of two inheritance trophies to depict someone fighting. Another reason I suspect it may be the player is due to the fact that many would try to use the greatsword at least a little after obtaining it, and near immediately after Lucatiel’s bonfire is the invasion from her (presumed) Brother, Aslatiel.
Another thing that makes Lucatiel’s trophy unique is the name of it. Whenever you inherit most NPC equipment, the corresponding trophy is a set of words that describes the NPC. (Reflections on Disembodiment for Vengarl, Smith For Life for McDuff, etc.). But for Lucatiel’s, it’s just.... Lucatiel. It makes sense for several reasons. First, Lucatiel is the only person (aside form Drummond) who is dying when we receive their equipment, which makes the trophy seem more like an effort to remember the name of the one who we got it from, which also lines up with some of the last words she ever says the to the player. “ My name is Lucatiel./I beg of you, remember my name./For I may not myself… “ The simplicity also seems to reflect a more serious attitude about it. (i know that trophies aren’t technically part of the lore but I like to think of them like the inner monologue of the player character keeping track of what they’ve accomplished)
I just wish we got more time with her. More lore, more summons, and more quest. I feel like she should’ve been one of the phantoms we can summon for the Throne of want, like Vengarl and Benhart, since all three are essentially seasoned soldiers who bond with and seem important to the Bearer of the Curse.
Also sorry if you subjected yourself to reading that.
