"Come on, don't tell me you don't know how to hotwire a car?" Lila snorts at him as he looks at her with wide eyes. "What did they ever teach you in that posh academy of yours?"

"You - you're insane, you know that, right?" Diego groans for good measure before he settles to the task, glaring at Lila as she nonchalantly leans against the side of the car.

"Been there, done that. I thought we'd well established that long ago," Lila agrees without heat as she toys with her bracelet. "Hurry up, I'm hungry."

I know everyone has their own thoughts on the delila baby or if it should be named after Stanley but consider this third option— I think Diego and Lila should have twins. Specifically, twin boys. This would solve nothing and make things worse for everyone but imagine the chaos. Lila’s power is all about copying. This would be the ultimate gimmick. First time parents and they struggle to get the first kid down for bed and the other one has somehow broken out of containment. You can’t take your eyes off either without them trying something and they know this from day 1. Diego and Lila get the rest of the family to babysit so they can get a break for the first time in months and when they call to check how things are going there’s a fire in the living room and another baby on the roof and of course the world nearly ends somehow and hearing all this they go “aw sounds like they’re having fun :)” and then hang up the phone and turn off their location for the rest of the night
