APPLE TV+’S “FRAGGLE ROCK: BACK TO THE ROCK” NIGHT OF THE LIGHTS HOLIDAY SPECIAL OUT NOW!
Apple TV+’s highly anticipated “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” Night of the Lights holiday special is out now! Jim Henson’s fun-loving and musical Fraggles — Gobo, Red, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and new Fraggle friends — have returned for all new adventures about the magic that happens when we celebrate and care for our interconnected world.
It’s the Night of the Lights, the most Fraggily holiday of the year, and the Rock is filled with songs and cheer. When Jamdolin (voiced by Emmy Award nominee Daveed Diggs, “Hamilton") encourages Wembley to make a special wish, the Fraggles head out on an adventure to find the brightest light and, maybe, the true meaning of the holiday.
From The Jim Henson Company, the series is executive produced by Lisa Henson, Halle Stanford, John Tartaglia, Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson. Dave Goelz and Karen Prell co-executive produce. Harvey Mason jr. serves as the executive music producer. The special is produced by Ritamarie Peruggi.
In addition to “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock,” Apple’s partnership with The Jim Henson Company includes “Harriet The Spy,” the first animated adaptation of the iconic children’s novel; “Slumberkins,” the mixed-media puppet/2D animation program from the beloved children’s emotional learning brand empowering children to be caring, confident and resilient, that premiered November 4th; and the popular “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!” shorts. Apple TV+ is also the streaming destination for the original 1980’s “Fraggle Rock” series, as well as recently added bonus specials, “Down at Fraggle Rock,” “Doozer Music” and “Fraggle Songs,” all of which are now streaming.
Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment, and is available to watch across all your favorite screens. After its launch on November 1, 2019, Apple TV+ became the first all-original streaming service to launch around the world, and has premiered more original hits and received more award recognitions faster than any other streaming service in its debut.
To date, Apple Original films, documentaries, and series have been honored with 280 wins and 1,216 award nominations and counting, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” and this year’s Oscar Best Picture winner “CODA.”

Another Friday, another FanFic Friday. Life has been very busy for me lately, (and only going to get busier for the next month), so I haven't really read as much as I would like, but here are the fanfics I have read over the last week.

Note
The Doozers and Gorgs weren't always musical. Longterm exposure to fraggles changes the cells to harmonize with the rest of the universe and causes them to break out into choreographed songs when the emotions are right for them. If Gobo keeps interacting with doc(either universe), they will eventually become a weirdo human who breaks out into original songs all the time.

Allow me to give you the image I had.
Foolish and the doozers are hard at work. Foolish needs materials. He and his little helpers start to tear down the walls of the egg room happily.
Then foolish gets blood thirsty. He destroys the egg with his new powers, and the doozers ravage on the egg, finally getting the omelet they always wanted. They’re knee deep in the bloody egg. There’s sacrificial music in the background and when the egg is consumed, the music comes to a eerie screech. There’s a pause-
“You little bitch”
Foolish and the doozers then happily return to gathering materials. There’s Kirby music in the background, and everyone is happily swinging pickaxes in unison. And if there’s a little red on the corner of their lips, well…
That’s nobodies business but Foolish.

What I'm Reading Wednesday
Hey look! I'm actually writing this on Wednesday! What sorcery is this? Anyway... here's what I've been reading this week:
Fanfiction
Five Words by RosesAtDawn A cute one-shot canon divergence. The point of divergence is the convo between Kate, Anthony, and Edwina in the chapel after the wedding. Edwina takes things a bit better than she did in the show, gets them to admit to loving each other and gives her blessing right then and there.
Good Morning Starshine by Stars_of_Kyber An absolutely adorable one-shot. It's a modern-day AU. Somebody is getting Kate and Anthony's Alexa to play I'm Still Standing very loudly at 5 in the morning. They are not amused - at least until they find out just who is doing it.
Lilies And Soap by Doozer Anthony and Kate are a musical duo who are both in denial about their feelings about each other. I've so far read 3 chapters. Then hit a part that promised to be angsty, and I don't know what happened after that. Definitely want to get back to it, though. It's really good.
Novels
Percy Jackson And the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I finished it this week. And now I'm looking forward to the tv series even more than I was before. I cannot wait to see this properly brought to life.
Some Winter's Evening by Erin Langston. This just released today, so I'm only on page 25. But, I am already in love with these two. I've loved Gavin since reading Forever Your Rogue. I fell in love with Emilia during the prologue. They just had the most hilarious meet cute. Gavin stuck his foot in his mouth - but only because Emilia phrased her question stupidly. So looking forward to watching this play out (And Cora, Nate, and the kids getting involved).
And, that's it. Nano started today, so I might be even lighter on reading this month than I have been. We shall see what happens.
