#FREEDOWNLOADS #FREEPROMO #RADIOCHART Rachael Sessions - Volemos (Es El Mio Edit) (FREE DL) Happy full moon lovely people ✨🌝✨ We are happy to offer you another free download from our free magic series, enjoy this beautiful song edited by wonderful Es El Mio <3 This is an amazing native American song that is commonly used in the Rainbow gatherings. 🌈 It's an honor to the Freedom of the big birds that fly in the sky and the Universe and brings Peace, tranquility, and connection between humans and existence. ······ The story behind this edit from the creator : The idea got me on one of my trips in Portugal, an escape to the beautiful nature in ''BENAVENTE'' with some friends. ⛰🏝 It was a total silent admiration, as we were far from the city. And suddenly, a song started playing on one of my friends' phones and it was the full album ''Dream of this World'' by the talented and gifted ''Rachael's sessions''. That inspired me hugely and gave me sudden goosebumps, the full album was like a dreamy experience, watching nature and breathing totally fresh air. all the sounds were whispering like ''Everything is gonna be alright, no worries'', it was medicine! All this experience ended up with a meditation session which cured the whole crew. 🙏😊 Connect with the artist : https://soundcloud.com/eselmio Скачать: https://ift.tt/Z4WBfOq https://ift.tt/Dzx98kj

Today’s compilation:
Café del Mar: Dreams 2000 Future Jazz / Ambient / Downtempo
OK, I know the album art for this CD is weirdly awful here, but it's Café del Mar, folks; the label and series that helped to pioneer that signature, chill Ibiza vibe that originated with DJ sessions at sunset by José Padilla in the early 90s, which would see him blend ambient, downtempo, and jazzy easy listening tunes at its eponymous bar for hours on end. And, over the years, as the series continued to proliferate, it proceeded to attract more and more big-name contemporary electronic acts to its warm weather Balearic brand: Moby, Underworld, Groove Armada, and Nightmares on Wax are known to have appeared on their releases, to name just a few.
So, today I gave a listen to the first installment in Café del Mar's Dreams series, which really seems to be in search of tunes that share a common bond of childlike whimsicality to them; light and fluffy, somnambulant soundscapes with Spanish acoustic guitars and flutes. Some of it hits pretty nicely, but a lot of it piles the whimsy on a bit too high for me, personally.
But still, compiler Ramon Guiral pulled out some great tracks from mostly the early to mid-90s here. D'Note's "D'Votion" is this wonderfully hypnotic piece of acid jazz that noticeably goes without a kickdrum for much of the song, but then finally pipes it in to give it some highly satisfying trip hop flavor towards its finish.
And you all remember that 1992 west coast jazz-rap classic, "Passin' Me By" by The Pharcyde, right? You know that iconic sample that they used from Quincy Jones' version of "Summer in the City" that features the organ melody? Well, the UK's Nightmares on Wax actually used it before they did the year prior, for his great downtempo track, "Nights Interlude," which appears on this comp.
And although most of this material hails from the 90s, the closer by Nacho Sotomayor, simply named "Café del Mar," is from 2000, and it combines these great string pads, a Balearic trip hop drumbeat, and alternating bits of soft, bloopy synth stabs and smooth jazz. Seems like a song whose title is aptly applied as it really matches that Café del Mar sound and vibe to a T: electronics mixed with a more quaint and idyllic, beachy tranquility.
Plus, ambient heads will probably enjoy the Beatless mix of Sabres of Paradise's "Smokebelch II" and Underworld's "Second Hand" as well. I can definitely appreciate the handiwork that went into both of those tunes, but as not a huge fan of most ambient stuff myself, I can't really say that I actually vibe to them 🤷‍♂️.
A few choice cuts within the first installment of this Café del Mar series, regardless, though.
Highlights:
D'Note - "D'Votion" Nightmares on Wax - "Nights Interlude" Nacho Sotomayor - "Café del Mar"

Fun random ask: What do you think would be your favorite characters’ music genre? Vecna probably hates rock and metal for…obvious reason, so maybe classical? But what would be the others?
Henry Creel / Vecna
Henry definitely likes classical music, it helps put his mind at ease whenever he’s nervous or anxious about something. or even when he’s in a good mood, he always listens to it because it also helps him feel at peace. the only reason I can think of that can taint his like for classical music is if it’s used by Papa at the Lab to ‘help’ him focus during his practice sessions, or if it’s played there in general. it’s sad, if that’s the case, for something he truly enjoys / something that’s his escape, to be tainted by traumatic memories. that being said, besides classical, I believe he’s also a fan of opera and ambient music.
Captain Jack Sparrow
I honestly think he’ll like vibing to reggae. I know it originated in the late 1960s which is a complete different era from the timeline in which Pirates of the Caribbean takes place (around the 1720s to 1750s?) but I think that’s the kind of music Jack will like if he gets to listen to them. I also think he enjoys a night on the ship with his crew where they just drink rum together, talk about their adventures while enjoying the music they play with the instruments they have.
Loki
I think Loki generally likes any kind of music that reminds him of his home, precisely his mother, the kind of lullabies she sang to him when he was a kid. but he listens to something else and enjoys them too. it also depends on his mood: if he’s in one of his mischievous modes, he does enjoy country, uptempo folk music, pop, indie, but if hes feeling down, angry (or murderous), then I think he’ll choose classical and opera, basically because it feels Villainous.
Mobius M. Mobius
I’ll go with oldie / vintage music for him. more specifically, I think Mobius prefers the downtempo ones that’s romantic with deep meaning, something like Can’t Help Falling in Love, You Always Hurt the One You Love, We’ll Meet Again, You Are My Sunshine, etc. I can also see Mobius listening to jazz and country music.
Art the Clown
Art likes uptempo music in my opinion. anything he can dance to while plotting his next shenanigan or hunting down his victim. although I think metal / heavy rock and roll are too much for him, in a sense that it’s too loud and he’ll only end up being annoyed by it. I think he’ll lean towards hip hop and rapping.
Last but not least, I was going to do one for Eddie Munson too, but I assume we all already know what kind of music he likes.

Njordlyd's 'Correlations Part Three' The Journey Continues
Njordlyd - Correlations Part Three
Music Genre: Electronic Sub-genre: Ambient; Dark ambient; Industrial ambient; Experimental ambient; Downtempo; Soundscapes; Drone; Experimental; Vibe: Soundscape: Atmospheric; Focus; Concentration; Meditation; Relaxing; Chill Located in: Den Haag, The Netherlands Sounds like: Mount Shrine / r beny / Burial
“Correlations” is my second EP as Njordlyd.
An EP consisting of 5 tracks that continues the industrial and dark ambient-styled music from the album “Getting Closer”. Most of the tracks on the album makes use of field recordings, transportation samples and samples in general. Moving vehicles such as trains, trams and metros (amongst others). Same goes for field recordings: water dripping, rain falling, breaking waves and birds. This EP is no exception. It continues the journey through stretched samples, field recordings and “reshaped” pieces of music and audio related content and creations. The main difference is: This EP is mainly based on “reshaping” of recorded live studio sessions from 2018 and 2019.
Correlation is a broader concept that goes beyond the album, but is interlinked. In 2018 I was stuck. Having created lots of music for years, but not completed and not releasing  anything. A frustrating period of time in my life. In September that year, I was in need of a change, and started working with iPads and apps, just to see where that would take me in terms of creating and completing music. It started with setting up a small and minimal setup, which I practiced and learned to use well. A totally different way of working for me and much more experimental and improvised than what I was used to. It ended up being more like a live setup and over the course of a year (2018 to 2019) I recorded over a 100 live “sessions”. In the end I did not complete anything for release and went back to the more classic DAW approach. I naturally started reshaping tracks from before 2018, which led to the release of the 5 singles in 2021-22 (Phase One). I am still not sure why it turned out this way, but I am confident that it is linked to (correlating) the 2018 to 2019 period. Without having done that, I am quite sure I would not have been where I am today with my music.
“Correlations Part One” is the 8th track on the album Getting Closer and the 1st track on the EP “Correlations”. The start of the track has a dominant noise-like sound. It gives the impression of travelling through the air, going somewhere, far away, maybe space. Leaving earth, going somewhere, far away. Throughout the track there is A feeling of uncertainty, almost apprehensive. It feels moody and harsh, a slightly gritty atmosphere. Uncomfortable, possibly passing through unknowns, unfamiliar feelings. What will the journey bring, what is the destination?
“Correlations Part Two” is the 9th track on the album Getting Closer and the 2nd track on the EP “Correlations”. A journey observing the passage of time, the feeling of slipping or drifting away, a wandering mind. Gradually adopting or adjusting to a certain situation. A particular moment of time, a snapshot of a particular part of a long journey. The sensation of travelling through space, somewhere in the future. Indistinct or fuzzy communication and chatter in the background. Arriving somewhere, …. an unknown destination, leaving the question, is this the last destination or is it just another stop on the way to …..
“Correlations Part Three” is the 3rd track on the EP “Correlations”. The journey continues with the feeling of being sad, somewhere in a melancholic place (or space) with life and activity. A nature-like environment, open and spacious. It then slowly transitions into a somewhat more active or busy place (or space), a less nature-like environment. Somewhere with a slightly more industrial and underground feel to it, a sort of downwards atmosphere.
“Correlations Part Four” is the 4th track on the EP “Correlations”. A transition to an almost paradise-like environment. The feeling of being relaxed and calm, the comforting sound of birds whistling in the background. Is it a forest, somewhere in the woods …. an ancient woodland? Again, the journey starts to deviate from its original course. It starts to get a bit more intense. Slowly moving away, the place becomes more and more distant. Moving back towards reality. Enjoying the last comforting sound of birds whistling while the mood of the atmosphere slowly changes to something more busy, ….. more comprehensive.
“Correlations Part Five” is the 5th track on the EP “Correlations”. This track closes off the EP with a more moody and slightly darker tone to it, but with the influence of nature still present or intact. The fringe of nature. In equal measure, indistinct and fuzzy chatter in the background. People holding on to something, but at the same time trying to adjust, …. to change. Slowly it gets more frantic, …. more determined. Something to overcome ….
Njordlyd The Artist
Njordlyd is a creator of experimental, dark and industrial ambient soundscapes.
"When creating music, I let the sounds, ideas, mood, and current inspiration control me until a certain point, where it all turns, and I naturally take over the control."
The Person
“Creating music is when I feel I am who I am and where I can be who I am"
I started listening to music when I was around 11 and have been directly involved with music since 1991, where I was involved in several underground music projects, collaborations and releases. The period from 1998 and until the end of 2014 was a phase of self-discovery, where I was absorbed in the process of music creation, learning and focused on defining my sound.
The Music
Towards the end of 2014, I began making music as Njordlyd (my current project) with the release of Silent Echoes (EP) in 2015 and the 2-track single Ghost Running in 2017. In 2021 I started working on a 3 year plan, with 3 phases. Each phase runs from April to April. As part of Phase 1 (April 2021 to April 2022) five 1-track singles has been released: "Circles", "Subconsciously", "Perception", "Voices" and "Clouds".
Phase 2 started in September 2022 with the release of a 2-track single “Interlaced”, which was followed up by the release of the album “Getting Closer” in mid November. In 2023 Phase 2 will be concluded with the release of the single Correlations Part Two and the EP “”Correlations (5 tracks).
Phase 3 will commence in August / September with the release of a single (TBA). Upon completion of Phase 3 in march / April 2024 I will do a wrap of all my music from 2015 - 2024.
My musical inspiration comes from artists such as Future Sound of London, Biosphere, Burial, Marconi Union, Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Massive Attack, Portishead and Marconi Union (amongst others).
The Name
Njord was the Norse god of the sea, sailing, fishing and fertility, and a name that I really like. “lyd” means sound, so Njord is a kind of pseudonym, combined with what I do (music), which is related to sound, hence Njordlyd (Njord’s sound). Video link: https://youtu.be/NBn9Owo_3DA

Islandman feat Okay Temiz and Muhlis Berberoğlu - Direct-to-Disc Sessions
Balearic folktronica meets percussion genius on a unique one-take recording that finds Turkish downtempo specialist Islandman in triple conference with legendary percussion innovator Okay Temiz, and contemporary saz virtuoso Muhlis Berberoğlu. Recorded in Amsterdam for Night Dreamer’s ground-breaking Direct-To-Disc series, the session captures the innovative brilliance of the great Okay Temiz in full flow over Islandman’s trademark balearic-tinged production, alongside the modern Anadolu folk sound of Berberoğlu’s saz. Freewheeling dance project Islandman moves in a bold new direction with this essential Direct-To-Disc session featuring storied Turkish percussionist Okay Temiz and contemporary saz player Muhlis Berberoğlu. Expanding beyond their electro-acoustic DJ formula into a wider sound world of experimental instruments, neo-traditional rhythms and folk improvisation, Islandman’s vision on this Night Dreamer disc seeks to reconnect cerebral downtempo beat-making with the folkloric and ritual bedrock that their music has always rested on. Bandleader Tolga Boyuk’s vision has always been expansive, and the link-up with Night Dreamer was a chance to try out a more spontaneous style of playing and recording. ‘When Night Dreamer told me about their label, for which they only record Direct-to-Disc, I wanted to go there with a special project,’ he says. ‘I thought it would be a nice opportunity to make a more organic, more live and more improvised album. So I came up with the idea to make it with Okay Temiz.’ Known for his inventive genius on percussion instruments ranging from the berimbau to the bricklayer’s trowel, Turkish percussionist and drummer Okay Temiz is one of the world’s foremost improvising musicians. In the course of a career stretching back to the mid-1960s, he has collaborated with jazz greats including Don Cherry and Johnny Dyani, led his own Oriental Wind unit, and played with countless musicians across dozens of genres. His 1975 single ‘Denizaltı Rüzgarları’ is a revered break-beat classic among crate-diggers worldwide, and it gets a refixed outing on this disc. ‘Okay Temiz is a real legend for us,’ reflects Boyuk. ‘He's very special to the Turkish music scene. He is one of a kind, and his music has always been so free. He's always been very special. And we always wanted to do something with him.’ Approached for the project by Islandman’s drummer Eralp Güven, the always open and experimental Temiz was enthusiastic to participate. To complete the unit, Boyuk turned to Muhlis Berberoğlu: ‘He's a very young but amazing virtuoso saz player. He represents the young generation of Anatolian music – very open-minded and very open to working together. So I wanted to invite him too, and I wanted to create an album of folk songs with Okay Temiz’s crazy instruments and Muhlis’s virtuoso saz playing.’ The session unfolded with controlled unpredictability. Boyuk arrived at the studio with simply produced tracks, and from there the ensemble let improvisation and organic synergy take control. The brilliant wildcard was the effervescent imagination of Temiz, who came equipped with an eclectic mix of homemade instruments including an electrified flute made of industrial bathroom piping, and a shaker with a contact mic wired to a wah-wah pedal: ‘Okay put all these instruments on a table, and he put a stereo microphone left and right. And then he grabs one of his instruments, and he’s moving around the mics to create a live ambisonic sound – a very open space. We were amazed at how brave he is. He's not afraid of the physics of sound, or the technology of sound recording – he always wants to be very edgy.’ Combined with Islandman’s subtle and responsive beat-science and Berberoğlu’s scintillating agility on the saz, Temiz’s visionary rhythm force leads the session into unknown territories of improvised future-folklore, strictly for the heads. ‘All the tracks here have folk song melodies in them’, explains Boyuk, in conclusion. ‘And all of them are from different regions of Turkey. They have different senses of rhythm, specific to the regions. I wanted it to be a picture from different places in Turkey.’ Recorded live and cut direct-to-disc at Artone Studios, Haarlem, The Netherlands on 30th November 2021 Tolga Böyük; Drum Machine, Electric Bass, Synthesizers Eralp Güven; Drums Erdem Başer; Electric Guitars Okay Temiz; Percussions, Harmonica, Berimbau Muhlis Berberoğlu; Bağlama, Cura, Electric Bağlama

KOBALT – C15 Cassette Tape
New release from Neozaïre & That Night. Limited edition of 20 vintage Computape™ datasette (playable on regular cassette decks).
» Get a copy of the tape or free streaming
"Kobalt" is the first joint collaboration of the two producers That Night and Neozaïre. The four compositions – oscillating between downtempo, soundtrack and sampledelia – were created over a period of several months and are rooted in That Night's trademark sample loops, which were expanded by Neozaïre through a foundation of sub-heavy basslines and drums. The overall sound aesthetic that finally emerged in the further collaborative overdubbing and arrangement sessions signifies an exciting, cinematic and atmospherically profound symbiosis of the artists’ individual sound worlds. The EP is available in physical form as a vintage Computape™ datasette (playable on regular cassette decks) via the label Südturm, as well as digitally in all common formats.
