Any ideas on what the Empires SMP Season 2 characters’ worst fears are?

You know that fun trope where some demon or whatever brings the main cast’s worst fears to life? I wanna write a fanfiction where that happens to the ESMP season 2 characters, but there are very few that I’m actually sure what to do with. Even some of the content creators I do watch I’m not 100% sure about.

I’m going to go ahead and put what ideas I do have under the cut, but I’d appreciate suggestions for any of ‘em!

Pixlriffs - I always forget he exists. That alone should say how much I know about him. I’ll probably watch some of his videos before writing this fic so that if nothing else, I can at least get a feel for his personality and the way he talks and stuff.

Joey - I remember seeing a Tumblr post saying he was afraid of skeletons, but that might’ve been a joke.

fWhip - I’ll be honest, I’ve got next to nothing on this one. Maybe a cacophony blaring in his ears?

Gem - I’ve only seen her first episode so far, but I’ve heard people point out that she sleeps more than anyone else on the server. So, maybe she’s afraid of the dark. I was thinking this can manifest with her vision getting darker and darker until everywhere she looks is pitch-black.

Lizzie - Everyone finding out she’s a cat.

Jimmy - Becoming a toy that can barely even move on his own. So, kind of crossing the whole “toy” thing over with helplessness/loss of control.

Joel - Uhhhh... make him short? Weak? I don’t know.

Oli - Put him in a cage, maybe?

False - People being mad at her (and maybe attention in general). I initially thought of the demon making everyone’s tempers flare up every time they interact with her, but I’m not sure if I want it to be able to directly interfere with people’s minds. Instead, maybe it can shoot arrows at the group or something and try to frame her for it.

The thing is, though, I’m not sure if I genuinely wanted that limitation on the demon’s powers or if I just thought of it because people being magically compelled to yell at her every time they notice her makes me uncomfortable. Chickening out is for the characters, not the author! /hj

Scott - I was thinking the demon could pluck out both his eyes, but then the idea of blindness went to Gem, so unless Gem actually fears something more than the dark, I’ve got literally nothing. I want to avoid repeats if at all possible to keep things interesting.

But then, I really like this idea still because a lot of the changes I’ve thought of happen gradually (for example, Jimmy turning into a toy, assuming it’s the wooden dummy kind, is foreshadowed by his jaw aching slightly, while Gem starts off merely squinting), and Scott might be able to see the magic at work, so I like the idea of the demon plucking out his eyes to prevent any spoilers from him.

Sausage - The assassins from his kingdom of origin finding him.

Shubble - The witch academy finding her? Like I said, I want to avoid repeats, so if we’re going with something like that, I will give it to either Sausage or Shubble rather than both. I think Shubble is more likely to have more variety in what I can choose - for example, maybe she can fear her magic either not working at all or getting waaay out of control, and I can give the “scary people from their past finding them” thing to Sausage?

Katherine - The idea that maybe she is, in fact, cursed? Don’t know how this would manifest, though, since as far as I’m aware, her curse pretty much only affects her own kingdom.

Fwhip: uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, maybe his body thingies?? Not body dysphoria kinda snuffs, just like-- WHY IS MY BODY CHANGING SO MUCH?!!?

Gem: Wait, she doesn't have any trauma?! C'mon *wacks with stick* you can do it! It'll be in the future, but if the sun dies 👀👀. Tbh, she's pretty chill.

Pirate Joe (mama bc that's his middle name now) Graceffa: loss of his crew. the whole *ahem* war + loss of his ship. Gladly he isn't a child so he won't have abandonment issues (most likey)

Katherine and Elizabeth are gonna be two different ppl: hMMMMMMMM i wONDER wHAT cOULD pOSSIBLY bE tHE aNGST?!

Lizzie: she used to be a kitten and now she's a *totally normal human*. tbh, she probably have abandonment issues with the amount of sheltered animals getting euthanized.

Sausage (i was going to say tastes great, but uhmmmm): orphan. Most people he knew probably died.

Shelby :) : okay, if you haven't watched shubble's series, you should. It has *angst*

Biggishbeans: Insecurity (also the fact that timelapse! joel and c!joel are different people makes me happy)

Solidarity (for toys): Being toyed around. He's legit just buzz but with a woody costume and all of his friends aren't toys.

O i l (there isn't a wiki link yet? seems to be underconstuction): His friends died and now don't remember him lol. also nice to know he's in jail...

Part 2 of Empires Smp Lizzie fan fiction

A man looking like a cod steeped out of the bushes looking scared and teary eyed. "WHO ARE YOU?!" Lizzie shouted. "lizzie? Is that really you?" the man said. Lizzie was confused at the sight of a man, she had not come in contact with another person in months. And how did he know her name? Although she had been finding herself she remembered nothing of her life before the cave and this could be a possible freind of hers she had, or maybe even family? "Lizzie it's me Jim. Remeber?" said the cod man. She had no idea what he was talking about but she obviously new him before. " I'm sorry, Jim is it?, but I can't remember what happened before this, im sorry!" explained lizzie.

She sat on a log near the lake and suddenly Jim came to sit with her. " I was your freind, in a past life. Sorry for intruding on you Lizzie but I have been trying to find you for ages; and I'm glad I did" said Jimmy. Lizzie thought for a moment: could he be lying? Just pretending to be one of my freinds? She stood eraticly and shouted, "How do I know your not lying?!" Lizzie started to cry, she had always dreamed of finding a freind one day. " DONT CRY! I'm not lying! Look!" Jimmy shouted as he showed her a pink bracelet that said her name on. She suddenly looked at her wrist and saw a green bracelet that said ' Jimmy' on, how could she have missed this important artifact of her past! " Sorry, I didn't mean-" she started, " how about we sit in my cave, tell me about my past". Jimmy had a concerned look on his face and said " are you sure? It's really... unpleasant lizzie." She thought for a moment, is this really what I want?

" Go on" lizzie said softly. And so Jimmy and lizzie sat in the cave and talked about her past life. How they all started with chosen empires and how hers was the ocean. Becoming the queen of the ocean and then a peculiar animal named a blue axolotl. " A DEMON! " Lizzie screamed. She was so shocked that their was a demon trying to kill her and her supposed freinds! " Sorry Liz this isn't the end of the story. Jimmy continued about how a demon named Xornoth corrupted their server. Thsi demon was also a man's brother (Scott). He lived in those cold mountains. " So that explains why I got a sudden headache in those abandoned mountains, because of the memories." she explained.

- just going to skip to the bit where she reacts because you know what happened-

" WHAT!" Lizzie shouted. "That poor man sacrificed himself to save the server, people abandoned their kingdoms, someone dissappeared into dust and i... Forgot who I was."

" 1 last thing liz" Jimmy started, "I'm your brother."

I had a dream last night about an Empires SMP kid AU

It was technically a crossover with Dream SMP, but Dream was the only one there from that SMP. He was the school bully.

At one point, he decided to just completely ruin Jimmy’s lunch to make him upset, and I guess Lizzie’s big sister instincts were a-tingling or something, so she started running on all fours to the scene of the crime while sniffing like a dog. Joel followed her because they liked each other, so he had her back.

Later, Dream, Lizzie, and Joel were in the principal’s office, and Dream was complaining that Lizzie was weird and ran on all fours. Joel said “Hey!” or something like that in defense of her, while Lizzie bared her needle-sharp teeth at Dream and went “HISSSSSS!”

So, I guess Lizzie was basically just a feral tadpole.
