Wolf Spider pt. 3

Sam Carpenter x Spider-Man!Reader

Telling your amazing girlfriend that another masked serial killer was on the loose in New York was not exactly a walk in the park.

“We’re leaving!!” She grabs her luggage bags as Mindy and Chad try to calm her down.

“Baby I don’t know if leaving New York will help” you try to convince Sam.

“As opposed to staying still?” She nearly thunders back. “Sorry honey. I just can’t let anything happen to Tara”

“What about me?” Chad asks, “I nearly became a knife rack last time!”

“But did you die?“ Mindy responds as Anika joins her side.

Tara huffs, “look I’m gonna go get some supplies and then we’re out of here.”

Sam and Tara head out of the apartment as you head for yours. You quickly find your old spider society wrist watch and make a call to your mentor, Miguel.

“sorry kid,“ Miguel sighs, “ this is a part of your canon event and we cannot interfere.”

“then send me my emergency box” you practically order him.

A small cylinder arrives through a portal two seconds later. Inside you can see the swirling black mass as it beats against the container you promised yourself you never go back to this but desperate times call for desperate measures. The symbiote was your best bet.

You begrudgingly open the container and the black as night alien goo latches onto you. It lurches its way up encasing you completely in a solid black suit with a white spider logo but at its center was a skull.

Why? It hisses.

“The family I love is in danger”

Don’t hold me back.

“I won’t.”

How you wished you had gone with Sam and Tara. Ghostface chased them to the bodega and was shooting up the place with a shotgun.

You swung thru the window and fire a tendril shard at the slasher. It cuts through the only black robe but it wasn’t a direct hit. Ghostface fled as Sam and Tara took to their feet. You look down to see that the fiend left behind their mask.

“Are you okay?” You try to ask the girls as the fury of the symbiote rages inside of you.

Chase the killer down!

You make your way trying to help any potential survivors. There was only Sam and Tara left alive.

Detective Bailey and a few officers arrived shortly. “Wolf” the gruff detective shakes your hand, “nice threads”

“Special suit. Violatile” you explain, what you didn't notice was how your suit was reacting around Bailey. It was as if the symbiote was finding itself drawn to the gruff older man.

Bailey and the police officers took Sam and Tara down to the station. While you weren't allowed into the station, you were able to call in an old friend to act as their lawyer, pro bono. What can you say? Your pal Matt Murdock owed you a favor.

Mindy assembled the Core Four plus Ethan, Anika and Quinn at the campus.

"Okay we're now in the sequel, guys, which means new rules" Mindy explains.

"Please don't try to put it in movie terms right now" you groan.

"Sorry but since you weren't with us first time," Mindy smirks, "you're on the list of suspects."

"Don't do that to Y/N, babe," Anika says before hugging you, "I know you're one of the good ones"

Sam rolls her eyes, "Y/N's mine, Anika, remember?"

You give Sam a kiss on the forehead to ease her false sense of jealousy. "All yours Carpenter" you whisper in her ear.

"How do we know that its even anyone in this circle?" Ethan asks, "with the rise of the internet, anyone can have a grudge without much reason. Also I don't wanna die a virgin"

"Can't help you there, Chambers" you joke, earning a chuckle from Chad.

"What if its someone from the last time?" Quinn asks "like someone who went nuts"

"Possible" you explain, "but it'd be a terrible reveal and tank the franchise"

"So Chad's not off the table?" Tara jokes.

"Only for you, Carpenter" Chad tries to flirt only for you to throw some popcorn at him for his terrible flirting attempt.

You had a little dinner over at the Carpenter sisters' apartment. Sam was practically shaking as she held onto your hand. You tried to venture out, she grabs you.

Why are you still here? The symbiote hissed in your ear. Find them, kill them.

You walk out of the apartment and quickly the symbiote forms over you. Sam sneaks out and puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Please don't leave" Sam begs.

"That killer is out there" you reasoned. "I gotta nab them before they find you"

You swung out on your own personal hunt. You should've stayed. During a swing, your police scanner picked up reports of screaming being heard in your apartment complex. You swung back to the location only to find everyone minus Quinn, trying to cross between buildings on a ladder. You could see Anika had been stabbed and was severely bleeding out.

Ghostface rocked the ladder and Anika fell. You dived after her and caught her at the last second. Mindy screamed after you as you swung off into the night.

You set Anika down on the nearby rooftop, her breathing slowing down. You put your hand over her bleeding stomach, trying to stop it by any means. "You'll be okay" you try to reassure her.

"Take off your mask" Anika weakly says, "I wanna see your face...Y/N"

"Y/N" you try to speak through your forming tears, "w-who's Y/N?"

"I know it's you"

You hesitate but you remove your mask and offer her a weak smile. Anika weakly smiles back, "I knew it. I knew you were one of the good ones"

Her body goes limp and her eyes shut. "Anika? Anika?!"

You swing her down to the hospital. The EMTs shuttle her body off to away from you as you try to keep up with her.

"It's alright, Wolf" one of the EMTs tries to reassure you, "you did your part."

You could only look on in horror as Anika is hauled off, unsure if you were too late to save her. "Get her to the OR stat" one doctor yelled out as the doors shut on you.

You understood that no one was safe. This Ghostface wasn't playing by the rules. This franchise has changed.

The new band BASTARDANE, which includes a drummer Castor Hetfield, son of METALLICA frontman James Hetfield

Bastardane is a wild mix of sludge metal, thrash metal, progressive and melodic rock. It consists of Jake Dallas (vocals and bass), Ethan Sirotsky (guitar) and Castor Hetfield (drums).

Slipknot

The cult metal band Slipknot featured 33-year-old drummer Jay Weinberg, the son of the famous Max Weinberg, who stood at the origins of the legendary E Street Band and worked with Bruce Springsteen. Weinberg Jr. was part of Slipknot from 2014 to 2023.

London Hudson, 21, the son of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, is the drummer of the Los Angeles band Classless Act, as well as the founder of the band Suspect208.

"208 is my studio number, and it was here that Noah [Weiland] and I started composing music together. It was our refuge, where we could spend days and nights, composing, playing, sleeping. This was our secret place. And all the shit that's going on out there, it's very suspicious," London shared. And the word "suspect" just translates as "suspicious".

As Lions frontman Austin Dickinson is the son of the famous Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. Austin noted that the main task of As Lions is to create "the coolest and heaviest hard rock they are capable of."

Elijah Hewson, vocalist and guitarist of Inhaler, is the son of U2 frontman Paul Hewson, better known as Bono. Hewson's parents hold the position that Elijah must achieve everything on his own. They don't help their son more than they need to: even when his hotel reservation was canceled during the band's first tour, his parents told him to sleep "on a park bench." Interestingly, the band's name, which translates as "inhaler", was given to the band because of Hewson's asthma.

Hi babe!💕 I'm so glad you tagged me this morning. It's been fun to revisiting all these ideas.

So Auction...I forgot to mention this is another OH/TNA crossover story.

It's set after Miami. Taking over some of the lead responsibilities for the DT, Ethan must attend a rather large fundraising event. He learns that before Naveen got sick and retired, he offered up a date with the handsome Dr. Ethan Ramsey for the auction. The funds earned going to help the team's pro bono work. Naveen knew Ethan's celebrity status among the medical community would draw big numbers.

Little does Ethan know that Sawyer has been asked to fill a seat at the Dalton table. Christian is Sawyer's best friend and Sam Dalton's fiancé. Christian knows all about Sawyer and Ethan's attraction to one another and what happened in Miami.

Christian tells Sam she wants to have some fun and "win" Ethan for her best friend. Meanwhile, Robin is making the moves on Sawyer.

Catch up on part 1!

Meera got into the car almost half asleep and let out a long sigh.

"You look like you had a rough night," Ethan said pulling out of the apartment garage.

"Says the man who has dark circles deeper than the Grand Canyon."

"Ouch! That was rude!" Ethan tried feigning offense but ultimately broke into a laugh. Meera joined in a few seconds later.

"I feel like I haven't laughed this much in forever," she said regaining her breath.

"Yeah tell me about it. Everyday I open my eyes and dread going into work because I'll have to see the fake smiling faces of the board members, and paperwork keeps getting more and more everyday!"

"Ahh! Paperwork. Is. Literally. The. Worst. I have reached the point where I can't bear the sight of my own signature. Is it possible? Can you be disgusted by your own signature?"

"Hmm, I think it is," Ethan chuckled.

"You know, this reminds me we haven't had a date night in ages."

"Really? Didn't we check out that food carnival like last week?"

"It's been three weeks to that old man."

"Wow! Three weeks is a really long time. We should rectify that at the earliest tell me when you are free this week?" Ethan said pulling into the hospital driveway.

"I am not on call Tuesday and I think I get off early Friday," Meera checked her calendar.

"No, that doesn't work with me, I can move around somethings and get out on Saturday and maybe Thursday if I am lucky." Ethan checked his. "I'll see if I can reassign some of your cases so that you can get Saturday off."

"Sorry, won't work, I have a consult at Mass Gen and they have been trying to have me over for weeks. Why don't You make things work for Friday."

"I would if I could, but the CEO of this med-tech company will be in town only on Friday and the board wants me to have dinner with him." Ethan pinched the bridge of his nose getting out of the car.

"Great so my boyfriend is now going on dates with some CEO?" Meera chuckled following suit.

"Come on Meera, meet me halfway here."

"Halfway? I am dealing with life or death here!"

The couple walked into the busy hospital atrium.

"Hey round with interns in five," Jackie shouted walking past Meera.

"Will be there!"

"Chief Ramsey someone from HR has been asking for you," Ethan's assistant Margaret walked upto him.

"I'll see them in my office in ten."

"Hey I have a new pro-Bono case for the DT I wanted to discuss with you," Harper said crossing the atrium to meet Meera.

"Let's assemble the team after rounds, will go through it then."

"Sir Mrs. Wilson's lawsuit has been settled we just need you to sign the paperwork."

"That's great! Keep it ready for me in my office."

"Meera I need a consult for a kid up in peds, you can't say no," Sienna said handing both of them coffee and cookies.

"How can I when your cookie is my breakfast? I'll page you when I'm done with the DT."

"You are the best," Sienna smiled curtly at them and dissappeared.

"Medicure pharma wants to let you know that their offer stands if you change your mind."

"Margaret let them know that Ethan Ramsey doesn't change his mind."

Margaret nods running up the stairs.

Ethan and Meera get into the elevator, and let out long sighs.

"So you ready for your day?" Meera asks.

"Doesn't leave me with a choice of not being ready," Ethan replies.

"You know I was thinking why don't we add a little more fun into our day?"

Ethan looked at his girlfriend puzzled.

"Whoever finishes with their itenary and clocks out first can decide the day for the date night and the other has to make time for that."

Ethan's blue eyes sparkled mischievously, "you are a freaking genius."

"Well I know, thank you very much," Meera gave a little bow as the elevator stopped at her floor with the familiar beep. Ethan cupped her face and pressed his lips to her one last time before parting ways.

Meera stepped out, "just so you know this genius brain is going to figure out all of her cases in no time and make you change your schedule."

"We'll see about that," Ethan said just as the elevator doors closed.

Meera walked toward her office with newfound motivation and joy.

The day zoomed by. Meera's brain was working at its fullest. She went through rounds, met with the DT and completed Sienna' s consult in no time. She returned to her office and started with paperwork without stopping for coffee. She didn't need coffee when the adrenaline from her impending win was pulsating through her nerves.

Soon the sun had set over the Boston horizon and Meera put her signature on the very last paper. She threw her hands in joy and looked at the time, it was half past eight and there was no way Ethan was done before her.

Without wasting a single minute Meera packed up her belongings and made her way to the elevator, doing a little happy dance to the elevator's music. Only to come up to an empty Chief's office. Ethan's assistant had informed her that he was almost done with the day's work when he got called into an emergency board meeting thirty minutes ago. This was maybe the first time Meera felt grateful for Bloom. He had ensured her win, but she missed being able to rub it in Ethan's face.

She walked over to Ethan's empty desk, overflowing with paperwork. She looked at the framed picture of her in the dog park that was kept on one side of the table. This man was whipped, she thought.

On the other side she noticed a huge white box with a leading pharmaceutical company's name on it. Filled with curiosity she opened it to reveal a huge spread of donuts. Being chief came with its perks, she chuckled.

Her stomach growled, reminding that the adrenaline of the day made her forget to take a break for lunch. She picked up the box of donuts and walked over to the couch, making herself comfortable.

A couple of hours later Ethan walked out of the conference room, head throbbing with pain. He looked down at his wrist watch taking quick steps towards the elevator. There was no way he was beating Meera now.

Ethan walked into his office and was welcomed by a soft musical snoring. His eyes made a quick scan before finding the source, his girlfriend, asleep on the couch with an almost finished box of donuts laying on the ground.

He smiled, she looked so peaceful and cute, but he couldn't help but click a few quick pictures which he knew Varma and Lahela would definitely appreciate. He nudged Meera awake. It took her a few seconds to break the trance before groggily saying, "I won, you lost."

"I know," he replied, "but let's get you home first," he put down an endearing kiss on her forehead, already cooking up an excuse for the board on missing the dinner with the CEO.

Edenbrook's LGBTQ+ Health Department

@choicespride Day 9: Tell us about your MCs/OCs relationship to/experience with the LGBTQ+ community!

Throughout most of her adult life, Sadie made sure to donate to LGBTQ+ organizations, whenever she could. Once she and Ethan get a joint bank account, she does this even more, and he is super supportive.

A few years after Sadie's residency, her and Ethan spearhead the creation of Edenbrook's LGBTQ+ Health Department. They donate a lot of their own money towards it but also hold plenty of fundraisers (w/Kyra as the head planner of course!). The LGBTQ+ Health Department is similar to the Clinic in the sense that they try to do as much pro-bono work as possible. They offer free plastic/gender affirming surgery consultations, LGBTQ+ sex ed courses/workshops, and therapy, among other things.

Hello Lovely Kathy! Would any of your beautiful MCs or their too hot for words LIs ever send this to each other? If so, what would today's say?

First of all, I have a couple of these pads for grocery lists and for packing. Charley and Samantha both love these pads and bought them. Every day they leave one for their respective LI. See today’s below the cut.

Charley generally just leaves one for Ethan just because but today he decided he had to leave the confines of the Chief’s office and spent the day working in the ER. Charley spent some time in the ER with him and was reminded how much she loves watching him work with patients.

Samantha leaves one for Tobias every day, too. Earlier in the day Leland stopped by the Diagnostics Team office and decided to criticize Samantha because the team has been taking too many pro bono cases. Tobias sent the rest of the team out of the office and set Bloom straight that regardless of how much money the team brought in or not, their reputation helped the hospital.

Tobias saw the pad on Samantha’s desk and he decided to leave one for her. When he decided to write out a note for her, he realized leaving a note is more difficult than he could imagine.

Both Ethan and Tobias love these notes and save them.

Leverage Redemption Log: The Muddy Waters Job

Penultimate episode, with a name that implies ambiguity and shady-ness (also potentially actual mud, EG: a company that's been deforesting a mountain and as a result destabilised it/removed the soils ability to absorb rain into treeroots and caused mudslides that killed people.)

Yeah this is definitly gonna be a 2-part finale in disguise, ending on some kind of cliffhanger. (knowing the show, and how they've kept teasing "harry is still keeping secrets" and "Harry's old firm still kind of wants him back cause he's good at being evil" im gonna say, probably ends with Harry "defecting" to team Evil again, only for the finale to do a Trojan Horse reveal). --- Little Modern-day Romeo and Juliet scene? Teddy Bear, Sophies Personal Irregulars are making a return (or at least one of them is). So this is gonna be one of those "is she re-retiring" plotlines.

Any way "Becky" is confiding in her dad (apparently a child-tracking app works both ways. Normally i'd complain about parents violating childrens privacy, but the dad in question used to be a billionaire's personal lawyer, the kind of person who makes enemies that may have a desire to put pressure on him to "fail" in his job. So with her being a particularly high-risk kidnapping target. Im gonna say he's justified in putting it there, but not necessarily in trying to be sneaky about it)

Harry, I get that you are presenting this stuff the way you'd present a case (Story first, disclosure second) but this is definitly a "disclosure first" case. Also Breanna is on Strike, (minor note to the writers: Parker should know that striking is an option. IE: Hardison in the Gold Job)

Ok admittedly not a good look for Harry to be trying and get Sophie to Scab on Breanna as a hacker. --- Parker and Elliot arrive to the interogation mid-assasination. (my guess: the man isnt an assasin or kidnapper, he's an attempted whistleblower trying to reach Ethan)

Legal doesnt actually have real data. All they have is doctored stuff. (real data is on probably the oil rig, the less people know your crime, the less potential for whistleblowers) The question is still if Ethan knows.

And there it is, "he lied to my face", fucking damnit. Im gonna be honest, im a bit dissapointed there, Like i get we need a bad guy and we're too far into the episode to make it anyone but Ethan without having to do a really late character introduction but man... I really hoped we'd get a non-evil stepparent. We need more good stepparent representation in media. Its a hard position, with strange powerdynamics as you try to fill an already semi-taken chair at the dinnertable and figure out the role of parent to a child. (remember, most parents have 2-3 years of learning opportunity before the kid forms their first permanent memory, stepparents have to figure it out from scratch while the kid is already old enough to know what it's like to be alive. Now imagine having that struggle in a world where the only cultural referenceframe a kid has for "stepparent" is Lady Tremaine and you can see why we need more examples of good stepparents in media)

--- So... Breanna can just see into Elliots flash-forward imagination sequence? Also the fact that our formula-mandated once-an-episode Elliot fightscene is taking place in a hypothetical flash-forward tells me the mission is gonna go way South. Like "hey look how flamable this chemical accelerant pumping station is" type of "goes south". --- Harry is watching his daughters house. Talk about morality being seperate from legality, honour amongst thieves. --- Back on the Rig, Parker is shocked to find that Breanna's never been on a helicopter before.

Maria calls Elliot (i thought phones werent allowed on the rig?) and they talk relationship status. (another thing that is gonna go South before the end of this two-part finale)

Harry is talking with Grace. Elliot is asking Parker for relationship advice (she's shocked to be considered an authority)

Sophie discovers that the time limit is 1 hour, not multiple days, and unfortunately the rest of the team is out of celular reach.

Ok so personal phones arent allowed but Satelite Phone is. Good to know. Nice improv conversation. --- Elliot suprised to find he doesnt have a dozen mooks to punch, mysterious stranger aproaches from behind: his cover is blown. Harry and Sophie are trying to figure out a way to stall for time. Elliot ready to knock heads, finds a "you're a dad"-party held for him. (most heartwarming heist-complication in the history of the show)

The look on Parker's face when she realises how Sophie just accidentally solved ALL of their problems by clearing every worker from every station except the cameras.

"rewire this whole place so we can send it back", you mean open up all the electrical wiring, posibly causing a bunch of sparks and setting the entire rig ablaze? Bad Plan. --- The Raw Data doesnt exist because the machine mucks the math at the source. (Thats... suspicious? Are we sure Ethan is evil? Cause at this point all evidence we have of him being evil is "Harry thinks that Ethan has a tell)

Why in the hell do they have a CAMERA POINTED AT THE LEAK. So im fairly certain that this might technically count as a discovery violation. But also this is now clearly publicly available information.

The judge agrees that this evidence is unproven, and insists that though it cannot prove guilt it defintly means that the defenses assertions ("they havent been able to prove a causal link" is not correct. This opens us up to further discovery.)

No Sophie, that is not what this means. This means that they're about to destroy the evidence before the Department of Whatever Governing Body Is Responsible can find it by destroying the oilrig. (its a single old rig tapping into a drying well. It would be more profitable to write it off as a loss and blow it sky high then risk hundreds of multi-million dollar suits)

Ok so was Harry doing this to get back with his wife? I dont think so, i think he's trying to redeem himself to be worthy of his daughter, wife doesnt count into it. He's just legitimately shocked at his wife's apathy to her new husbands evil. (but then, she married you so... maybe she's just got a taste for bad people.)

Breanna with the video, goddamn man. Props to the writers for using the fight-scene subversion to make us personally like the people who just died. These might be the first post-leverage victims in the shows entire run. --- Harry is at RIZ playing presenting himself as a Trojan Horse.

James J. Haggerty

Magisterial district judge, James J. Haggerty, 58, of Kingston, Pennsylvania died in the company of his family on Wednesday, March 20th, at Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo in Cheektowaga, New York. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Jim was the son of the late James and Judy (Treslar) Haggerty. Valedictorian of Wyoming Valley West High School class of 1983, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Having successfully completed the Army ROTC program, Jim was commissioned as Second Lieutenant of Armor, U.S. Army Reserve. He earned a U.S. Army parachutist badge and was tank platoon leader, 1st Battalion, 103d Armor, Pennsylvania National Guard. Jim received his law degree, with distinction, from Georgetown Law School in 1990.

Owner of his own law firm in Kingston, Jim spent most of his professional life in public service, first as the mayor of Kingston from 1998–2017 and most recently as a magisterial district judge from 2017-2024. Jim loved his hometown. During his 20 years as mayor, he was proud to be integral in restoring and bolstering Kingston’s financial health, rebuilding and modernizing the Hoyt library, constructing Kingston’s Central Fire Station, revitalizing the recreation center and community pool, improving its parks and playgrounds, protecting its shade trees, and generally helping to make Kingston a great place to call home. One of Jim’s proudest moments was when he represented the Edwardsville Hometown Committee on a pro bono basis and saved the Pierogi Festival.

Jim was known for his marked intelligence, his sense of humor, and his loyalty to his friends. His varied interests included politics, travel, delivering food to local families, reading to kids, indulging in a weekend beverage at the Rush Inn, and watching sports – often several games at once.

Jim is survived by his two loving sisters and their husbands, all of Amherst, New York: Kelly (Haggerty) and Kevin Ahuna; and Patricia (Haggerty) and Timothy Lyle. He took good pride in his nephews and nieces: Ethan and Emily Ahuna; and Quinlan and Zoe Lyle. Jim was always surrounded by his many close and cherished friends.

Friends and family may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 24th in the Rotunda at the Luzerne County Courthouse, 200 N. River St., Wilkes-Barre.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25th at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, Kingston. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the church. Internment will be at Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.

In lieu of flowers, Jim asked that memorial donations be made to Dinners for Kids or the Kingston Fireman's Community Ambulance.

I just wanted to ask you how would your MC react if someone was turned down at the hospital for any reason?

Thank you so much for the ask, peonie! Here's a Lil headcanon!

Jane would be very appalled if something like that happened, but between the hospital bureaucracy and everything else being fuelled by profits, such instances were quite sparse in Edenbrook, but they were still numbers in books. They were still very much present.

Whenever she comes across an instance like that, she makes sure to handle it as delicately as she could. She'd first diagnose the patient and give them the immediate care that they need. Paperwork later. Money is immaterial. The patient, whether they've got their arm severed in half or come down with illness, they matter more.

Next, the root of their problem. Usually Edenbrook turns people away if they have incomplete insurance or if their paperwork doesn't check out. To Jane, that is a terrible system. It could cost an innocent person their life, should they be treated any later than they arrived at the hospital. She'd make sure she had the necessary information needed. All pre-requisites. If the person can afford it, any monetary issues, what seems to be the exact nature of being turned away - she notes it all down and collects information. It is vitally important for her to make her case if she were questioned about "unethical practices".

Finally, she'd arrange for something to fill in the gaps. Whether it'd be under pro bono work or if she could somehow find a loophole for them, she would exercise it to the best of her abilities. If she cannot find any loopholes, she'd cover the hospital bill herself. This happens right when she starts earning and has enough savings to afford it.

Of course, there are laws put in place, some even native to Boston. However such laws only extend to ER and preliminary treatment, emergency and stabilising services and don't have power in a hospital's guidance for people to fully heal and recover. In that case, there will still be bills people can't afford, because healthcare in the US is astronomically expensive. Jane will make sure the person gets exactly what they want and for the additional bills, such as meds and scans and others, she'd:

One, cover it herself as aforementioned.

Two, try doing it pro bono or writing it off as a charity work.

Three, tying up with Pharma programs, getting the patient registered under their Patient Assistance Programs to get free or reduced medication costs.

Four, channelling through Edenbrook's International Outreach programs. Edenbrook has a program that helps connect hospitals all around the world in the field of research and healthcare. Doctors and patients from Edenbrook are all part of the same circuit. Jane would try getting her patient registered under a different location, hence attempting to reduce costs. It's a very thin loophole to slice, but it helps in fudging records, because nobody would know Rose Boyd, a hardcore Long-Islander would ever come from Denmark.

Five, using her Free Healthcare benefits. Edenbrook offers healthcare benefits to their employees in the form of offers that require to be redeemed. Jane would often use them under her own name to help her patients get what they need. When Ethan confronted her about it, going "How the hell did you get your arm and your leg broken at the same time?" she made sure to sweeten things up with the receptionist who was recording her transactions.

A lot of times Jane had to resort to just blatantly lying in her paperwork and final reports. It was unethical, but she didn't do it quite often and used it when she only had emergency cases to handle. As aforementioned, Edenbrook doesn't turn down patients unless it is an extreme condition and even then, their reasons can be quite ridiculous. Jane, as an internal med specialist, knows that not everyone can afford good healthcare and it is up to her to change the system, because she was the system after all. She does it in many sneaky ways and it is hilarious. Sometimes she even lets her friends know.
