a friendly reminder: buck is bi because he's attracted to both men and women and NOT because he has underlying feelings for eddie! hope that helps <3

I promised some Abram comfort this month 🤲 there’s a stretch of time in Abram’s recovery that Day is his primary caretaker and Andrew isn’t allowed to do much, but that doesn’t change the fact that Abram sleeps better with a grounding weighted blanket; Kevin, in this case, is a very convenient brother figure.

it’s the picture of diana in lawrence’s wallet with her arms wrapped around a dog, it’s the horse riding awards in her bedroom and and the snake toy she has draped over her headboard .. it’s adam who wanted so badly to be a vet, adam who loves cats and brings them saucers of milk despite there being barely anything in his fridge .. it’s them bonding over their love of animals, diana showing adam her amazing animal facts book and adam asking for one every time he sees her, it’s adam saving up his own money so he can surprise her with a trip to the zoo for their next adam-and-diana day when lawrence and alison are at work and need someone to watch her, it’s him taking his camera, getting pictures of her with her favorite animals and developing them, it’s diana telling adam she wants to be a vet when she grows up and him getting excited, grabbing lawrence’s stethoscope when diana says she wants to play vets and taking his job oh so seriously when diana says that he’s gotta be her assistant, it’s .. its ..

Thanks to a snow storm that's going to be dumping a foot or more of snow on me here, I had an idea for a snowed in fic with Matt. But then my brain, which has been quiet for most of the last few months, slammed me with a little idea despite all of the things I'm already working on and busy with (believe me, I know how many fics need updates and how many notifications I'm still trying to respond to 😭). But my brain was like...."Make it a series of one shots and call it The Devil at Your Window. Fluff, flirting, sexual tension, and eventual smut and identity reveal."
And well...I'm working on the first part already called "Snowed In." Did I mention it's all black suit Matty? Because it's all black suit Matty.
(Don't worry I'm also working on an update for Seeking Forgiveness and FFTD simultaneously and I'm sure seeing Matty again in Echo will make me feral and pump out some writing.)

do you guys ever think about how out of them all farleigh was the next real thing. felix haunted the hallways of saltburn with his electric rays of light of naiveté, not malicious but borne of wealth and shelter, and oliver reached for that light like it was the sun. the cattons were adjacent, fantastical islands of that pool of light, and oliver was a drying plant that never saw the real thing and mistook a lamp for a life. an insidious parasitic vine, it's his nature. he offered felix the attention, the quiet adoration, he offered the other cattons the stares, the touch, the longing. and felix was a fantasy, a ghost since day one, a promise of warmth.
but farleigh was there. he was real. he was burning with anger and rage and boiling just beneath the skin. and it irritated oliver, it made him feel something that he couldn't control, and he couldn't control farleigh because he had nothing to offer him: not attention, because farleigh could see right through that front, not control, because you cannot control a 20-year-old incessant fire, not the surrender of it because power and wealth has been a low-hanging, spoiled fruit for farleigh, he yearns for and despises it, he has no desire for it.
killing off a lamplight is painfully reversable, mundane, easy; switch on and off at will, you will not feel a moral dillemma. it is in oliver's nature. but farleigh was real. and what can you do, accustomed to imitation of heat, when met with the raging warmth of life? do you guys think that alive and angry, farleigh was the next real thing. do you think he must live because oliver must know that there is a life at all. do you think
