Graduation - Jude Bellingham
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jude Bellingham x female reader
Warnings: fluff, little bit of sadness, cliché meeting
Word count: 1411
Note: my first Jude imagine, I hope you all enjoy. As always, I don't know Jude and have no clue what he is like, so this is how I imagine him. Pure fiction, please do not copy or publush my work. Reblogging is totally fine. Please let me know what you think. English is not my first language and if I missed anything, please let me know.
She’d been working incredibly hard the past four years. Her sports degree was a tough course and the assignments took up a lot of time. She was honestly surprised she’d even found the time to meet her boyfriend, Jude. She needed a break during her third year of Uni and decided to spend it in Germany. She’d always loved football and according to the stories of others, the Signal Iduna Park was a stadium you had to visit. And that’s what she did. She never imagined bumping into Jude Bellingham a day before the game. She decided to take a walk to clear her head of all the Uni assignments and as she closed her eyes, enjoying the sun, she bumped into someone. She immediately started apologizing, as did the person she bumped into. That’s when they looked into eachothers eyes for the first time.
They hit it off immediately and Jude asked her to get a coffee with him, to which she agreed (of course). After the coffee they parted ways, but as Jude walked away he realized he never got her number. He immediately turned back around but she was already gone. He didn’t expect to see her again, only to find her at the front row of his game the next day. He was warming up when she smiled at him and gave a little wave when they met eyes again. He smiled brightly back at her and just before going back into the tunnel, he went to her and asked if she could stay a little longer after the game, to which she agreed. He scored two times that day, one time on the field and one time when he got her number after the game.
The rest is history and they just celebrated a year of their relationship. It wasn’t easy, first of all it’s a long distance relationship and second, they are both incredibly busy. But they always put in the effort for each other and they made it work. She went to games whenever she could and he would meet her in England whenever he had a bit of time off. But finally everything would be getting easier. She’s graduating and he will probably get a move during the summer. That would give them the opportunity to start over somewhere together. She could decide on a master wherever they’d go, because she definitely wanted to do some more studying. This isn’t a problem at all for Jude, he loves how smart she is and how much she cares about her own education.
But there still is a little bump in the road. Jude won’t be able to make it to her graduation. He had some sponsor obligations and he would be at Adidas headquarters during the ceremony. This of course didn’t feel right to either of them. She was incredibly disappointed that he wouldn’t be there, especially after she learned that she and her friends wouldn’t be graduating on the same day. Because their year was so big, they split the group into two days. She was the only one of her friends on a different day. So when Jude said he wouldn’t be able to make it, she almost burst into tears. But she put up a brave facade and told Jude it was fine, that the sponsor was very important.
Jude of course, saw right through it. He knew how upset she was and that’s why he immediately contacted both Adidas and his family. Whilst discussing a different date with Adidas he informed his family of her graduation date and asked them to be there for her in case Adidas wouldn’t work with him to change the date. Of course Denise, Mark and Jobe made sure they would be there, whether Jude would be there or not. They all love her and they would happily go to support her. This made Jude feel a little better about the situation, but he still tried his best to change the date. Unfortunately that also meant rescheduling with the other footballers in the sponsorship, which was the hardest part.
In the meantime, she wasn’t aware of his efforts as she focussed on the last few assignments before graduation. For all she knew, only her parents would be there to support her. It made her feel quite sad at times, but she accepted that Jude couldn’t always be there for her when she WANTED him to. But she knew he would always be there for her when she NEEDED him. And for her that’s enough, because he has never let her down when she needed him. Unbeknownst to her Jude finally managed to plan a new day for the promotional sponsorship, the same day she handed in her last assignment. He didn’t tell her though, wanting to surprise her on graduation day.
So when graduation day finally arrives, he’s the first to send her a text, saying how much he loves her and how proud he is of her. It means the world to her, because even though he won’t be there, he is thinking of her. So she thanks him and gets ready. She grabs her favourite outfit and everything else she needs for the day. As she arrives at the University, she sees her parents already there and to her surprise and delight, she also sees Jude’s parents and Jobe. The tears already gather in her eyes and she isn’t even close to receiving her diploma. She hugs all of them, thanking them for coming and being there for her. Denise hugs her the longest.
“He’s so proud of you and he is really upset he can’t be here for you darling.”
Hearing Denise’s words causes a few tears to slip out of her eyes. She slowly pulls away and immediately Denise is drying her tears. It’s a happy day and she needs to save her tears. They all walk into the University hall together. She soon enough splits with her loved ones to take her seat amongst the other graduates. After the introduction speech, everyone’s name is called one by one. When her name is called she can already hear her loved ones cheering for her, Jobe’s voice overpowering everyone else's. As she takes a hold of her diploma, she takes a moment to look out over the crowd, knowing that her parents would want pictures. But as she scans the crowd, her heart stops for a second only to start beating twice as fast right after.
He’s here, he’s actually here. That’s the only thing she can think of the second she locks eyes with Jude. He’s standing right in the middle of Jobe and her mom. Smiling brightly at her and when he sees she’s noticed him, he starts cheering as well, even louder than Jobe. She’s about ready to jump off the stage to get to him, but she keeps to the ceremony and takes back her seat. This doesn’t stop her from glancing back every few seconds to make sure he is really there. And everytime she looks back, their eyes lock and he gives her a proud reassuring smile, telling her he’s really there and not going anywhere. The second the ceremony is over, she can’t get to Jude fast enough. Where Jude expects her to kiss him straight away, she does the unexpected. She hits him over the head with her diploma before wrapping her arms around his neck. He stands there shocked with his arms at his side for a moment, before wrapping his own arms around her waist.
“What was that for?!”
“For lying to me. You said you had the sponsorship, but clearly you’re not there.”
“I’m sorry love, I managed to change the date and then decided I wanted to surprise you. But it’s a good surprise right?”
“A great surprise.”
Their words are exchanged in semi-soft whispers. She pulls her chin off his shoulder to look him in the eyes. she doesn’t think he’s ever looked at her like this. Incredibly proud, like she’s hung the stars in the sky herself. No other words are exchanged for a bit, just taking each other in. Jude presses a soft kiss to her nose before kissing her lips. A smile is permanently stuck on both of their faces. Until Jobe decides he’s had enough of the lovey dovey stuff.
“Ey, we’d like to congratulate her as well. Move over! I wanna hug my sister.”

The Most Beautiful Detail in Frozen 2
Frozen 2 has many little details that add to its emotional depth and impact. Some are more prominent, others more subtle. They work as foreshadowing, or show the bonds between the characters, or are subtly hinting where the heroes are at their emotional journey. The latter may be scarce, but they are by far the greatest.
And the most beautiful of them belongs to Show Yourself.
Show Yourself is the peak of Elsa's character arc. It's the moment she accepts herself: all that makes her unique, human and magical. The moment she steps into the center of the Fifth Spirit symbol, she's surrounded by memories.
Tumblr media
Most of them are nice, others are a dread to remember. Some aren't even hers, which I doubt Elsa paid attention to. Because then, a vision of Iduna appears, in the middle of her daughter's memories of her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, I think it's important how most of the memories are repeated throughout the shots.
Amongst the multitude, there's the moment Elsa was firstly given the gloves and taught the horrid mantra of "Conceal, Don't Feel"; the only memory of hers (or at least the only one I noticed) that appears once.
Tumblr media
It happens to be behind her. Which I find incredibly fitting for the moment. Yes, it literally appears behind her, but if we see it metaphorically; her past is behind her. She can't outrun it, she can't erase it, but she doesn't have to look back. She doesn't even turn. It's not even in her field of vision once. She looks forward. Not to "Conceal, Don't Feel" but to "Show Yourself".
Now to the emotional punch of it. As Elsa sings 'show yourself', she looks at her hands.
Tumblr media
And then at her left hand. The hand her Father held onto when he taught her to hide herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And as she shows herself, as she says it, says it with her whole chest, overjoyed at the truth of it, the memory behind her disappears.
Tumblr media
Elsa, of course, didn't forget. Nor did Ahtohallan. The memory didn't vanish; it faded on the glacier's wall. Much like Elsa's memory.
Those words, that moment, they don't affect her anymore. She knows better. Now, every time she needs something to hold on to, to calm her doubts, and remind her who she is, she will go back to "Show Yourself", not "Conceal, Don't Feel".
The memory that plays in her head again and again, the mantra she mouths to herself before every decision, public outing, or emotional/upsetting situation has been replaced.

Elsa, Your Authentic Self, and How Embracing It changes You dramatically - Part 1
Last week, I made a stream-of-consciousness post discussing why walking the path of authenticity changed me dramatically. All I'm doing is being myself. Why, in any hell, would being my authentic self change me in so many ways?
On the path of authenticity, I lost friends I'd had for years. Friends I thought I would have in my life forever. I resisted seemingly "practical advice" from sources I respect because I knew what I wanted and what was good for me. I felt distance form between me and the support system I'd had all my life - including family.
But in the same breath, my career got kickstarted, literally within weeks of the beginning of this journey. My spirituality drastically changed to have me at the center of it instead of being at the whim of every tom, dick, and harry that tried to highjack it - both energetically and physically. I took on a job that, though continues to be difficult, has taught me so much about our system and human nature. I have a growing following on social media, a thriving tarot channel, and a renewed support system that is far more emotionally mature and consistent than almost anything I've had before.
I always prided myself on being my authentic self. 100% of the time.
And yet there was so much within me that could not breathe and when it finally did... I'd always related with the goddess archetype. And now I felt like that is what was coming out of me. That Goddess of Creation.
How is it possible that just by honoring and living my authentic needs and self... that I became bigger than I ever thought I could be?
Elsa is a good example of this phenomenon.
I am going to come right out of the gate and say that Elsa was far more repressed than I was growing up. I've gone on record saying that I relate with Elsa in a really intimate way because her magic functioned exactly like my intrusive thoughts functioned. The difference is that I got the treatment I needed.
Elsa never did.
We all know what the TRUE ELSA looks like. You know:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gotta have that cape
But the thing is, you can tell Elsa was repressed in her childhood just by her clothing alone. I don't really count how she dressed when the accident happened because kids don't really have a choice what they get to wear at that age. However, into her preteens, teenage years, and early adulthood, she dressed rather conservatively.
It is the same with her hair. Very conservative, not a hair out of place. She has bangs, but combed neatly to the side.
As controlled and neat as her. As her coping mechanism.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It could also partially be due to her being the princess of Arendelle, but I don't think Agnarr and Iduna really cared about their daughters' fashion. I think for Elsa, rules were essential. She had to have a structured routine because if anything was out of sync, she could get surprised. Anything unexpected (even her own imagination) and she would "lose control." Hell, sometimes even when she was just distracted, her magic came out without her consent.
And to be fair, her magic is not always... privy to her consent to use it.
I mean, there is Frozen Fever with the snowgies
Tumblr media
There is F2, with the spirits hijacking her magic
Tumblr media
Elsa's magic is sometimes out of her control, but by the time she understands love is the key, she is no longer scared. However... when she is afraid, she has to keep shoving down her emotions, desires, and anything else because nobody can get hurt again.
It's almost like if she allows herself to be a person, everything will go south. Or so she thinks.
A lot of people are hard on Agnarr and Iduna, but... as a person who has experienced that same scenario, I can tell you that in a way nobody is harder on you than you. So much so that Elsa continued the regiment set up by her parents into her adulthood.
When her coronation hits, she is in that familiar gown. It is beautiful and regal and has that familiar style of cape.
Tumblr media
But Elsa did not ask for that cape. That cape is because she is queen now. If she had her way, she would have continued with that same conservative look.
Tumblr media
Buttoned all the way to the top like WOW. And that hair is tied up as neat as it has ever been. Not a hair out of place. Perfectly combed bangs.
But... she has a braid hidden in that hairstyle, doesn't she?
However, this is the start of her journey of authenticity. That cape is symbolic because it is the only piece of any dress she wears that is carried over. There is, of course, the bodice and skirt and all that. But the cape is the most obvious because no matter how Elsa spins it, she may have always felt... she was regal.
She is Queen
She even spends a little time with Anna, has some fun with her. That goes south, but then Elsa makes her first command - albeit a regressive one - to close the gates. She is a woman now. She is in control. It is her butt in that throne, not her father's. Her parents do not speak for her. The trolls do not speak for her. For better or for worse, our girl has become her own advocate.
And well...
Tumblr media
It was an accident and Elsa did not plan it. At first, she regrets it like crazy and runs away just to protect everyone. But as the girl runs and slips into Let it Go... those lyrics...
Be the good girl you always have to be Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go Can't hold it back anymore Let it go, let it go Turn away and slam the door I don't care what they're going to say Let the storm rage on The cold never bothered me anyway
These are the words of someone that may have feared her magic... but not necessarily hated it. Elsa may have had an inner truth inside of her that even though her magic can harm... that does not necessarily mean it is bad. Keep that in mind as we move forward.
I mean, look at Elsa's excitement after she made the ice stairs:
Tumblr media
That is not the face of someone who hated who she truly was. She just goes on and on and on, gets bigger and bigger and bigger until...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean
what more can I say?
When you repress who you are and you try to follow the rules of what society impresses upon you - in Elsa's case being her parents and the generational trauma that was passed on through both of them - you look starkly different from how you truly are. You behave starkly different from how you truly are. In this case, Elsa was the perfect Arendellian princess.
When she lets it go, her dress, her home, her life is made of pure ice and snow. Her hair is wild, fluttering in the wind and sky. She is pure nature.
More to come, friends.

Day 24 - Idun (Request)
Race: Megami
Alignment: Light-Neutral
April 23rd, 2024
accidentally spoiled this one, oops.
Tumblr media
Norse mythology, as any amateur theologian would likely know, is a bizarre beast to look into- a winding complex of bastardized tales and Christian retcons that makes even some of its most iconic gods appear scantly and obscurely in its stories. However, our demon of the day is one of the most recurring goddesses in the entire pantheon- the goddess of apples and youth, Idun.
Well, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement, but a Norse god appearing in more stories than one in the Prose Edda is an accomplishment in-and-of-itself. Idun, also known as Idunn, Iduna, or Iðunn, is the ancient Norse deity who resides over apples, spring, youth, and rejuvenation- she was likely well worshipped in her place, representing such pleasant thoughts (outside of spring due to the scourge of pollen, but let's not get into that) and ideas. Her name even seems to be based upon ideas of kindness and healthiness, as it's based upon the old Norse words ið, meaning "again," and unna, meaning "to love."
All of this, alongside her association with one of the best fruits (objectively), apples, seems to paint her in the light of being a goddess that the common people looked up to and worshipped for a nice, peaceful life. Idun is also the wife of Bragi, the god of poetry, something that adds on to this lovingly creative persona- she seemed to have been a lesser goddess, yet one still revered and loved for her role in cultivating a beautiful year with fantastic food. Even today, in some pagan circles, she is still worshipped, as she was in the past as well, a goddess representing good spring and fortune.
Idun's most famous myth comes about with those same apples she treasures so dearly- they weren't any old apples, you see, as the ones she specifically grew were apples of immortality. These apples were relied upon by the pantheon to remain young and spritely (likely leading to her title as the goddess of youth given her role in cultivating those apples) and she protected the orchard where they were grown diligently. However, a jötunn by the name of Þjazi forced Loki's hand, getting him to drag Idun away from her orchard only to kidnap her. As a consequence of her absence, the gods soon began to grow old and frail, and finding nobody else responsible, they found the blame to be on the trickster god present.
The gods weren't mad with him specifically, though- they knew that Loki wasn't that petty and mean to steal the immortal apples without reason. As a result, in an effort to make him right his wrongs, they sent him out to retrieve Idun from the claws of the jötunn, Loki adopting the form of a falcon and chasing after the giant in great pursuit. After a while of searching, he found the (likely terrified, or maybe even annoyed) Idun, who turned into a single small nut to let him escape with her untouched. Shortly after Loki makes his daring escape, the giant comes back to find his captive goddess gone with the wind, and chases after Loki in hot pursuit in the form of a massive eagle. However, the gods devised a plan to stop this rampaging jötunn, causing the eagle to run right into a then-lit pyre and setting him ablaze. With Idun returned to them, they went back to eating from the immortal apple stock, and all lived happily ever after. Until Ragnarok stuff happens, but let's not worry about that!
While Idun does fill a role as an archetypal 'damsel in distress,' her main story does show how important she actually is to the Norse pantheon; without her, they wouldn't be able to live. As a result, while a minor deity, she has a major role in the pantheon- one that is reflected perfectly in her role in SMT V.
In SMT V, Idun's only current appearance, she appears as a late-game healer and support demon with a whole sidequest attached- one that I can't recant here due to not playing V, but it seems fun. Design-wise, she bears a striking resemblance to Little Red Riding Hood (as well as Aigis for some reason), something which feels obvious given her role as the owner of the divine orchard with a wicker basket holding her magical apples, drawing clear parallels with the apples that Red Riding Hood delivers to her grandma.
She also tends to hit the griddy.
Tumblr media
Why? Because it's cute!
Overall, this charmingly designed demon from one of the most famous mythologies out there gets an A in my book. The influence behind her design is clear, it's cute and effective, and it works given her folkloric prescedent.

Rumour Has It (Pedri x artist! protagonist)
part 2!
view part 1 here!
my requests are open
summary: Being dragged along to the studio of Sira's favourite artist, Pedri never thought he would find himself falling in love with this place or even the owner... He quickly found himself looking forward to hearing about the process of the commission his friend placed, dropping by after practice to pick up Ferran's commission and place his own, just to get another reason to see Ana again...

A few weeks have passed since Ferran has placed his commission...
»Dios mío, I missed you so much!« said Ana and embraced her friend with a wide grin on her lips. It’s been a bit more than a week since her encounter with the two football players, when Ana found herself at the airport, picking up her bestfriend. »It's definitely been too long!«
»If I remember correctly it was you who refused to come to Spain because of your busy exam season.« Ana grinned amused. »It's what it takes to become a doctor I guess.« Ella shrugged, grabbing her suitcase and backpack so they could head for the exit of the airport.
Ella and Ana met when they were still in highschool, 10th grade when they took part in an exchange programme organised by the German school in Barcelona. The DSB, short for 'Deutsche Schule Barcelona, has been partnering with a school in Dortmund for decades and thus made exchanges possible.
Ana still remembers how she arrived in Dortmund, it was January, grey overcast. It was a cold and rainy day when she and the other Spanish students of the German school arrived at the airport where they were picked up by their host families. Ana had been in contact with Ella before, texting so that they could get to know each other beforehand. They hit off, being on the same wavelength immediately. The month Ana spent in Germany was arguably one of the best months she ever had. Ella's family soon became her second family, her parents taking care of her as if she was their own daughter.
Spending the afternoons after school in random cafés, taking the train to Bochum to go shopping in the 'Ruhrpark' or going partying at the weekends. The highlight, despite not being into football, was definitely watching the 'Ruhrpott Derby' Borussia Dortmund against Schalke in the Signal Iduna Park Ana still remembers how Ella couldn’t believe how Ana wasn’t into football.
»If I were you and living in the city of one of the best football clubs in the world, the club Messi plays for, I would be the biggest fan on earth.« – »You already are the biggest football fan on earth, just look at your wardrobe. You have literally more jerseys of Barça than I’ll ever have. You quite literally own the fanshops of both Barça and Dortmund. If you ask me, you’ve got us both covered. I don’t need to be a fan anymore.« – »I’ll still turn you into a football fan.« – »Good luck with that, it might take you a few years.«
A few months later, after the summer holidays, the German students finally came over to Barcelona. Ella immediately fell in love with the city and all the hidden spots Ana showed her during her stay. They would often spend the afternoons exploring the secluded tiny alleys of Barcelona's old town, meeting up with friends or spending the endless hot summer nights at the beach. Ana knew how much of a football fan Ella was, being confronted with her football obsession everyday when she was in Dortmund, the city where arguably everyone was a fan and living for football. Therefore she wanted to return the favour, her family somehow managing to get tickets for the most prestigious match of the league. The Classico.
In these two months that the two of them spent together, they became best friends. The contact never broke off, they messaged each other daily or sent each other long voice messages that soon became a kind of podcast and took turns in visiting each other in the respective country during the holidays. After they graduated from high school, Ella came to Spain for a few months, first spending some time in Barcelona before finally pursuing their road trip plans until Ella had to go back to Germany to start her medical studies.
»You know, I still can't understand why you're putting yourself through all that unnecessary stress for becoming a doctor..« said Ana when they reached her car. »Sometimes I question my decision as well, but« – »There's no buts, your decision is indeed questionable!« – »I have some great news though!« – »You're quitting?!« Ella rolled her eyes as she fastened the seatbelt and Ana started the engine. »No of course not you idiot, why would I quit after I've spent all of my school years working so hard to get good enough of a degree to study anything medicine related.« – »Could still have been possible, if I were you, I wouldn't like to be burnt out by the end of my twenties.« Ana grinned and drove off the airport parking lot. »If you'd let me finish for once, then you'd know that you have the next four to five months to spend time with me..« – »Wait, I think I got lost in translation. What did you just say? Or more like why?« – »Ever heard of 'Erasmus'« – »Yeah.« – »I got accepted and..« – »No way! And you're just telling me now??« Ana shook her head, a grin still finding its way on her lips. »Felt like it'd be a nice surprise... I have all the paperwork with me, I just need to drop them off this week and sign some papers for my flat and then I can start moving.« – »I still can't believe how you didn't tell me. Especially since you normally cannot shut up about anything.« Ana playfully rolled her eyes and nudged Ella’s shoulder when they came to a halt at a red traffic light.

»How’s the boyfriend doing?« asked Ella, while she settled in her friend’s apartment, taking in the beautiful view of the colourful houses and roofs. It was obvious that Ana was an artist, even her apartment looked like a little art studio. Paintings were hung on walls, or were standing against walls. Sketches scattered across the dining table, pencils spread out on a piece of paper. The hallway was crammed with packages of new paint and canvases, waiting to be taken to the studio. »Ugh, don’t ask, he’s a pain in the ass.« Ana mumbled, remembering their latest argument about the most unnecessary thing ever. »The usual, men are in general annoying.« Ella sighed, spreading her limbs out on the sofa. »But what would I do to have a hot Spanish boyfriend as well. Felipe and you are literally perfect, just look at you both.« – »I mean, you technically have the next 5 months to try. Yet you’re also the one who says she doesn’t have the time to commit to a relationship.« Ana grinned amusedly. »Studip medical studies!« – »My words, yet you never want to hear them.« Ana propped herself next to Ella on the sofa. »Oh shut it, not everyone can be as talented as you and make that much money during their studies.« – »I know, it sucks to not be me.« she grinned, putting her hair in a low ponytail.
»Just shut it, or I’m going to ruin your day by telling you what I’ve planned for us this evening!« »Oh good god. I can see where this is going.« Ana buried her face in one of the pillows on her sofa, she already suspected what was about to happen to her. »Don’t be like that, it’s not even as bad as you always say it is. And besides, I need to make good use of my time here. And you’ll just have to go along with it today.« Ana pressed herself deeper into the pillow and mumbled something unintelligible. »You’re lucky I like you so much…« – »I know, and I’m going to take full advantage of that today.« Ella grinned contentedly as Ana lifted her head and propped herself up on her forearms.
Ella had already found what she was looking for and was now waving two blue and red cards in the air. A wide grin spread across her lips as she watched her friend's reaction. Ana stared at her with an indefinable look, her eyes alternating between Ella's grin and the blue and red cards. Something in her gaze changed, and Ella knew that Ana would like to snatch the cards out of her hand and destroy them.
Over the years, Ella still hadn't managed to convince Ana of her passion for football. Even though she was so committed to it and even offered to explain everything to her. But Ana more or less refused every time. The games she was forced to watch because Ella dragged her to the stadium almost every time she was in Barcelona, or because her sister insisted that Ana watched the group games in Seville, had stressed her out so much that she didn't even feel the urge to get involved with football one more time. But Ella didn't give up, hoping that Barcelona, who were slowly returning to their old form and were convincing with their new young stars, could enchant Ana and finally convince her of the beauty of football.
»I hate you.« – »You love me.« Ana gave up and buried her face in the pillow again. »I should’ve known better and gotten prepared as soon as you said you were going to visit me during your semester break. It was so predictable that this was going to happen.« – »What do you expect me to do? Come to Barcelona without seeing them play for the first time since they’ve been taken over by Xavi and are getting great again?« Ella took another pillow and threw it at Ana, who just just groaned in despair. »I expected you to spend time with me, not to drag me somewhere to watch 22 men kick a ball for 90 minutes. I would much rather go out and have a fancy dinner somewhere.« – »We can still do that some other day.« Ana huffed, pushing herself up again. She couldn't wrap her head around how someone could be that obsessed with football. Ana also wasn’t oblivious to the fact that Barcelona has been underperforming for the past couple of seasons, having to deal with Ella’s outbursts after every important match they lost. Such as the 5 Classicos they lost in a row. Yet Ana knew that she had to accept her fate and do her friend the favour of joining her to watch that football match.
That’s how Ana ended up in the Camp Nou hours later. She sank deeper into the soft material of her coat keeping an eye on Ella who was, despite not being there for the first time, seemingly amazed by the astonishing atmosphere. »They better not play like shit, or else this was the last time I'll accompany you.« Ana grumbled and crossed her arms in front of her upper body. Ella just shook her head, knowing damn well that the chances of them playing yet another shitty match were pretty high. »It’s not even that bad..« – »Oh really, must have all been a dream then when you complained about their shitty form for hours over voice messages.« – »Things can change, you know. With the new generation coming through, my hopes are getting up again. They’ve brought up some young talents from ‘La Masia’. It’s looking very promising, the younger players are fun to watch.« Ella gushed, pulling Ana up from her seat as the first notes of the anthem sounded from the speakers. »I actually know about that.« – »Woah, how? – »I have my ways..« Ana smirked, listening to over 80 thousand people sing the anthem.

It's common knowledge that the Camp Nou is the most beautiful stadium in the world... Did you enjoy it?
ana_hernandez I think so... Well I actually expected you to play like shit after Ella, my friend, told me about how shitty Barcelona has been the past couple of seasons
pedri
Thanks😦
ana_hernandez Jokes aside, I wouldn't have thought that players as young as you and that friend of yours could be so gallant on the pitch... I'm impressed
pedri
Glad to hear that! Are you planning to see another match?
ana_hernandez Ella already told me she's going to drag me to another one...
pedri

CAMPFIRE SCENE - Definitive Edition
Tumblr media
I already made some posts in the past listing curiosities or differences involving the “campfire scene” between Elsa and Honeymaren, but since I hadn't made a post yet gathering everything in one place and we are in Lesbian Visibility Week, I decided to do it.
THE ORIGINAL CAMPFIRE SCENE THAT WAS FEATURED IN THE MOVIE “FROZEN 2″
(the original text is from the Novelization, but I adapted it to match 100% with the movie)
Honeymaren and Elsa are sitting by a fire, a baby reindeer is lying next to Elsa getting a cuddle, Iduna's scarf is draped over Elsa's thighs. Honeymaren just tasted the soup from the wooden bowl.  “I want to show you something. May I?” Honeymaren asked. Elsa nodded. Honeymaren reached for one end of the beautiful burgundy scarf that had belonged to Elsa’s mother and gesture to the snowflakes on it. She identified the symbols on the points of one snowflake. “You know air, fire, water, earth.”  “Yes,” Elsa said. “But look.” Honeymaren touched a diamond in the center of the snowflake, a symbol Elsa had never noticed before. “There’s a fifth spirit.” Honeymaren smiled at the surprised expression on Elsa’s face. “Said to be a bridge between us and the magic of nature.”  Elsa was shocked. “A fifth spirit?”  “Some say they head it call out the day the forest fell,” Honeymaren said. She had Elsas full attention.  “My father heard it,” said Elsa. “Do you think that’s who’s calling me?” Elsa asked.  “Maybe.” Honeymaren smiled. “Alas, only Ahtohallan knows”.  Elsa smiled back, recalling that her mother had said the same thing to Anna and herself when they were children. “Ahtohallan-” With the scarf over her thighs, Elsa remembered the words of her mother's lullaby that she had sung to her and Anna when they were little. She half sang and half spoke the words aloud.
                                              “Dive down deep
                                                into her song”
Honeymaren smiled again, recognizing the song and singing along with Elsa.
                                              “But not too far
                                           or you’ll be downed”
“Why do lullabies always have to have some terrible warning in them?” Honeymaren asked once they had finished.
“I wonder that all the time,” Elsa said.
Suddenly, the ground shook from a distant boom like thunder. But no lightning followed to electrify the sky.
 “Earth Giants,” Honeymaren said.
CAMPFIRE SCENE WAS ALSO ONE OF THE MOMENTS THAT HAD CUTS
The “campfire scene” for anyone who watched the “Frozen 2” documentary or saw this tweet knows that it was one of the moments in the film that were changed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that at least three shots were cut.
Tumblr media
We don't have confirmation of what they were and honestly I don't even believe that one day we will, and although I like fanfics imagining they were important I believe in the justifications given in the documentary for the cuts in the film: making the plot more dynamic for all audiences although I don't know how some phrases could be considered non-dynamic, but whatever.
VARIATION OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 1 - Novelization
The official book of the film states that this scene has only 3 differences: it does not specify in the book if Honeymaren was eating the soup or not, the position of the scarf in the book is on the shoulders while in the film it is on the thighs (this change in the position of the scarf happens almost everywhere from the movie to the books), and there are no lyrics for the duet though it does happen.
Tumblr media
Honeymaren and Elsa walked over to the logs around a campfire and sat down. A baby reindeer ran up, nuzzling and rubbing its head on them. Elsa stroked the little reindeer’s back as she thought about everything that had happened since they’d entered the forest.
“I want to show you something. May I?” Honeymaren asked. Elsa nodded. Honeymaren reached for one end of the beautiful burgundy scarf that had belonged to Elsa’s mother and gesture to the snowflakes on it. She identified the symbols on the points of one snowflake. “You know air, fire, water, earth.”
 “Yes,” Elsa said.
“But look.” Honeymaren touched a diamond in the center of the snowflake, a symbol Elsa had never noticed before. “There’s a fifth spirit.” Honeymaren smiled at the surprised expression on Elsa’s face. “Said to be a bridge between us and the magic of nature.”
Elsa was shocked. “A fifth spirit?”
“Some say they head it call out the day the forest fell,” Honeymaren said.
“Ahtohallan-“ She drew the scarf tightly around her shoulders, remembering the words to the words to the lullaby her mother had soothed them with. She half sang and half spoke the words aloud.
Honeymaren smiled again, recognizing the song and singing along with Elsa.
VARIATION OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 2 - The Enchanted Forest
Although small this book is one of the most interesting versions of the film having several differences or additions to the plot of “Frozen 2″ and obviously the “campfire scene” is one of those moments. Could those extra phrases shared between Elsa and Honeymaren be among the cut moments? Well, this book could be an early script for the movie, but anyway, I don't logically believe that it would be every moment for the descriptions.
Tumblr media
Anna smile she glanced up when Elsa walked by talking with Honeymaren.
The campfire cracked and pop as Honeymaren and Elsa sat here it’s warm glow.
“Tell me about the voice.” Honeymaren said as she petted a baby reindeer that had wandered over looking for attention. “What makes you so sure they have the answers?”
“Because they speak to a part of me that no one’s ever been able to reach,” Elsa resonded, holding her hand out for the reindeer to sniff.
Honeymaren looked intrigued. “What part is that?” she asked.
“The part of me that’s magic,” Elsa said.
Honeymaren throught for a moment, “I want to show you something. May I?”
The queen nodded. Honeymaren showed her a part of her mother's scarf. She pointed to the snowflakes that adorned it. She showed Elsa the symbols on the flakes.
“You know air, fire, water, earth,” observed Honeymaren, then pointed to the diamond in the center that connected them all.  “But look. There’s a fifth spirit. Said to be a bridge between us and the magic of nature.”
“A fifth spirit?” Elsa asked, intrigued.
“Some say they head it call out the day the forest fell”.
The queen's eyes sparkled.
“Do you think that’s who’s calling me?”
“Maybe. Alas, only Ahtohallan knows”.
“Ahtohallan”, Elsa repeated with a smile. She remembered her mother saying the same thing when she and her sister were children, asking a thousand questions: Only Ahtohallan knows.
When she put them to sleep at night, Anna and Elsa's mother would sing them a lullaby about Ahtohallan. It was about a mysterious river that had all the answers about the past.
As a child, Elsa wanted to find the river and ask questions. For as long as she could remember, she wanted to learn more about herself and her magic. Why does she have powers? Were there others like her? And if so, would Ahtohallan know them? At that moment, in front of the bonfire, she realized that... it was strange, but being in the Enchanted Forest made her think that she would soon get some of the answers she so desired.
She brought the scarf up to her chest and squeezed it tight. She could almost hear her mother's lullaby. She started to sing and Honeymaren joined in with a smile. The Northuldra woman was surprised that Elsa knew the melody.
“Why do lullabies always have to have some terrible warning in them?” Honeymaren asked.
“I wonder that all the time,” admitted Elsa with a giggle.
Suddenly, a BOOM was heard in the distance which interrupted their laughter and caused the queen to shudder.
“What was this?” Elsa asked.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The ground under everyone's feet began to shake violently with each bang.
Honeymaren paled, she rose quickly and said:
“Earth Giants”.
REPRESENTATIONS AND ADAPTATIONS OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 1 - Comic
Another representation of the “campfire scene” that skips the duet moment.
Tumblr media
REPRESENTATIONS AND ADAPTATIONS OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 2 - Manga
The differences with the manga are one of the most interesting for including a feeling in the scene that the original didn't explicitly have.
Tumblr media
Arina Tanemura at various points in this manga included or expanded on the feelings of certain scenes. That's not to say it didn't exist in the original, Elsa very well could have those feelings at the beginning of the duet with "All is Found", but the film prefers to express a more fun and joking feeling that happens at the end of the lyrics as the manga addresses the feelings that are at the beginning. But as I said Arina Tanemura really liked to make the moments more sentimental like Elsa at the end giving a sign to Honeymaren and Ryder that in the manga it really seems that Honeymaren has an expression of being in love or at least enchanted with the Snow Queen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
REPRESENTATIONS AND ADAPTATIONS OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 3 - Descriptions
There are at least four descriptions that I know of the “campfire scene” where they put the image and some text. The fourth description is not included here, the only difference being that it refers to Honeymaren only as "Northuldra woman".
Tumblr media
Elsa and Honeymaren become friends. They talk about the spirits.
At the campfire, Honeymaren showed Elsa the spirits of nature symbolized on her mother’s scarf. Elsa was surprised to learn about a fifth spirit called the bridge. It was said to connect the magic of nature to humans and it disappeared when people stopped listening.
A young Northuldra woman named Honeymaren showed Elsa the spirits of nature on Elsa’s mother’s scarf. Elsa was surprised to discover there was a fifth spirit: ‘the bridge’. It was said to connect the magic of nature to humans, but it had disappeared when people stopped listening.
REPRESENTATIONS AND ADAPTATIONS OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 4 - Toys
And the “campfire scene” was technically split into two parts: "Forest Expedition" which has Honeymaren and "Campfire Friend" which has everything else in the Campfire Scene including another Elsa. So if you recreate this scene you have to buy two sets instead of one.
Tumblr media
REPRESENTATIONS AND ADAPTATIONS OF THE CAMPFIRE SCENE 5 - Frozen 2 as told by Emoji Disney
There is no “campfire scene”, as this is one of the skipped moments and after the conversation with Yelana already placing the Earth Giants moment. But I include more here to show this adaptation of the visual, and that at the end they put together “You Belong Up Here” with the moment of Elsa riding the Nokk and waving to the Nattura brothers.
Tumblr media
BONUS 1 - The Campfire Scene Prologue
This is completely speculative, but this theory makes so much sense to me that I can't help but talk about it.
Tumblr media
I believe this concept art by Jim Kim is also part of the “campfire scene”, or as theorized in a fanfic, is the reason for it to happen. But this is purely theory as there is other concept art imagining moments of interactions between the Arendelle delegation and the Northuldras that are more difficult to fit into the passage of time. But of all the post-Bruni conversations, Elsa and Honeymaren's campfire conversation is the only one that doesn't actually have a prior introduction or reason for happening. You can even mention that Honeymaren talked about the scarf and that was the motivation, but to be honest the reason the women approach doesn't seem to have anything to do with the scarf, the conversation about the scarf happened on Honeymaren's idea. If Elsa wanted information about the Northuldras, Iduna or the scarf she probably would have gone to talk to Yelana, but in the movie she seems to have only decided to sit down with Honeymaren because she wanted to talk to her alone and the conversation about the scarf happened by accident, if Anna had gotten scarf the conversation about Fifth Spirt would not have happened and the two women would have just talked about other things.
Now, the reason why my theory about concept art is the connection point: Honeymaren is officially called a big fan of magic due to having some knowledge on the subject, so in my opinion, she asked Elsa to show a little bit of her magic and the Snow Queen, seeing how enthralled she was by it (Jim Kim's concept art) decided to go sit down with her to have a private conversation, whether or not it was about magic. I'm a self-confessed ElsaMaren shipper, but I can't help thinking that there must have been one more reason why a serious and focused person like Elsa decided to talk to Honeymaren instead of the tribe leader who was the person she was talking to earlier and who probably has a lot more knowledge.
A beautiful recreation of this scene by Kelly Erosen (https://twitter.com/kellyerosen/status/1645807089481297925).
BONUS 2 – The Campfire Scene was maybe recreated in “Raya and the Last Dragon”
Tumblr media
It may or may not be a coincidence, but:
Two girls sitting close together with something between them
A meal near them
A pet close to women
Their conversation involves interacting with items that have stories related to the plot of the movie.
And if you want to consider this too: there are many similar camera angles with Namaari playing Honeymaren and Raya playing Elsa
The only big difference is that there isn't a duet moment between the girls, but even the pace of the conversation is pretty similar with the more relaxed air. Peter Del Vecho and Kim Hazel herself, who was responsible for the “campfire scene”, also worked on this film, so this theory of inspiration being confirmed would be no surprise.
Tumblr media
If you have any more items to add, please add them.

All Is Found original ending
for @ivaleelovesmerlin
Tumblr media
There was a different ending to All Is Found, which was axed and replaced with what you see in the final film. Both the animation and the music were different.
It was called the Lullaby Ending and was mentioned in the documentary (Into The Unknown, available on D+). The Lopezes were asked to change the musical ending to make it sound grander. You can also hear the original audio recording on the Outtakes in the official deluxe soundtrack. The change starts at "can you face what the river knows" in the bridge. The new version transposed up by one key and the music swells much more.
youtube
The thing is, the deleted part was completely animated (ie, not just rough animation) and unfortunately was axed after an audience screening. I heard rumors that it caused a lot of unhappiness amongst the animators.
The first clue that there as a deleted scene was actually in the trailers - they used parts of it before the scene was deleted. The Japanese trailer had this adorable scene of Iduna kissing Elsa's hands (gif above) that we didn't get in the final movie!!
Many of the deleted scenes appear in the montage of memories in Show Yourself, but they are really blur, dark or faint!
Bits of scenes have surfaced here and there on animators' personal social media accounts. Here are all that I could find, compiled together in a video edit:
Take a look at the Frozen 2 novelization.
Tumblr media
The novelization contains 1) "Now sleep, my little snow" 2) Iduna kissing Elsa's hands 3) Elsa calling Iduna while Iduna is at the door, asking if Ahtohallan knows why she has powers 4) Elsa, head on her pillow, saying "Someone should really try to find it" and 5) Iduna's bittersweet smile. These are moments we can see in my video compilation.
Lastly, kudos to fellow Tumblr @antoineharrakblog for finding a blurry video of almost the entire original All Is Found! This was taken by the Lopezes with a mobile device during an orchestral recording.

So, we know that there's going to be a Frozen 3 and 4. I hope that they acknowledge in the future films that Elsa and Anna are both the fifth spirit because they're the bridge, it has two sides. But I'm really wondering what it'll be about. Will they take ideas from the novels, finally show Anna and Kristoff being married -- will he finally get a backstop and not be a side character like Olaf and Sven?
It's called Frozen for a reason. And all that really ha was Kristoff went missing. So, it's very easy to have him look for his parents or them look for him.
Tumblr media
Now, I'm a personal fan of Yelena, Honeymaren and Ryder being related to Anna and Elsa. Iduna is seen as a lost member of the family and so most people don't remember her. Hence saying the shall is of the tribe and not specifically their mother. And I would just like them to not be forgotten again. I want to see the conflict, the harmony and how the Northuldrans don't trust trust Arendelle people.
Tumblr media
Elsa and Anna are Nordic, they're in the 1800s, please for everything holy dive down deep into their mythologies. There's so much to be added into the movies to keep the plot alive.
Tumblr media
And for now, I hope Elsa stay single. Or if she does get a partner they are a magic user and her. Someone who's opposite of her upbringing. So she can see she was never a danger and it's the fear out into her head that made her lose confidence. Because we all know the incident is Anna's fault. But because it was done by Elsa, she was different and King Papi scared her she grew anxious and distant. So, if she did get a partner it'd be nice to her to see in another life she wouldn't have had to live so sheltered if her father trusted her. I would say a Jack Frost version or genderbent because it would hit different if they had ice powers too. Someone so happy and filled with life, who brings joy has the same magic as her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, yeah. Plus, either way, I need them to expand Elsa's powers. Like she controls ice and snow and she was born with these powers. I know she can become more powerful than she is. Literally need her to become a tank. Okay, bye.

An alternate take on "Frozen" (2013)
Tumblr media
Before all the haters show up: I LOVE Frozen. I'm just saying what I'd do if it was my movie, as well as retrospect from Frozen 2. There was a lot of good, and a lot that I think that could've been tweaked a bit.
Tumblr media
Arendelle is larger. It's such a small kingdom, and it's never really explained where the people come from. Of course, this may mean the geography of the land would have to change in order to accommodate a larger kingdom. I feel like it helps expand on the culture and lore a bit more, even if most of the film takes place away from the kingdom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Use more of Jean Gillmore's designs! Not only are some of them more historical and make the culture feel real, but it also looks great!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Include the Snow Queen's mirror in a dynamic way. Perhaps highlighting Queen Iduna and King Agnarr's pasts involving magic, reveal a legend that the castle holds a mirror that distorts anything it reflects (the origins of which would be included in "Frozen 2"). Anna and Elsa find it, and when they don't see anything wrong with it, they start to play similar to in the original film's prologue. However, Anna accidentally breaks the mirror and gets it into Elsa's eyes, making her accidentally hurt Anna. The trolls still erase her memory, but now that Elsa is affected by the mirror, this makes her bitter towards Anna, seeing her as getting a clean slate while Elsa has to live with her trauma. This is further exacerbated by their separation and Elsa's powers, though their parents try their best to console both girls (though Agnarr finds this difficult due to his own magic trauma in his past). She attempts to resist the mirror's influence, but eventually she becomes cold and calculated behind closed doors, to the point where she doesn't cry when her parents die. Instead, she blames Anna, as she heard Anna mentioning getting married and believes their parents went to meet her suitor before introducing him to Anna, and blames her for their deaths. Elsa eventually brings the broken magic mirror to the throne room during her coronation to remind herself of what Anna had done to the family.
Tumblr media
4. Hans is actually a good guy. He and Anna have been communicating via letters since they were teens, as Anna's parents considered him a candidate for her hand, and fall in love the moment they meet. They're very similar due to their circumstances, though Hans is a bit more pessimistic about finding happiness. However, when Hans asks for Elsa's blessing, she misinterprets Hans' statement of knowing Anna for "what feels like forever," believing he was the one their parents were going to see. She banishes Anna, which hurts her, and for a moment, she hesitates. However, in her frustration, Anna accidentally breaks more of the mirror, causing Elsa to attack her and everyone (except Anna, who avoids the shards, and SEEMINGLY Hans as well) to see her as a monster as the result of the shards in their eyes, resulting in her fleeing. Anna recognizes that the mirror is dangerous and instructs Hans to have the rest of it safely destroyed, but believes it only turned people against Elsa, and chases after her without realizing it's making the people become twisted. Hans offers to join her, but Anna realizes how jarring it might be for Elsa to see him again, as well as Hans growing up with borderline-abusive siblings himself, and appoints him the regent. However, it is later revealed that shards of the mirror got into his eyes as well while getting rid of the mirror shards, preventing true love's kiss from working between him and Anna and making Anna see what could've happened to her if she had given into despair. Once Anna is frozen, both Elsa and Hans cry, allowing the shards to melt from their eyes.
Tumblr media
5. Kristoff gets a song--a longer one, because RABTP was too short. Plus his backstory is fleshed out; I'm confused on how he's still an iceman if he's been raised by the trolls. Maybe he was adopted by trolls and THEN they let the icemen employ him. I do like the idea that perhaps he's part magic himself due to growing up around it for so long, as well as wise and caring, not quite as critical of Anna when he meets her, especially seeing how shaken she is about everything. And a part of him is envious of Anna's love for Hans and Elsa--not immediately because of his love for her, but because he doesn't have much human connections outside of his job, as well as wondering about his birth parents and (tying this in from a deleted scene) his own failed love life.
Tumblr media
6. The "Boss Fight," so to speak, happens in Elsa's ice castle, which is on a larger mountain, and thus more expansive. Elsa freezes Anna's heart before fleeing, but sends snow wolves and snowmen to capture her later. On their trek up the mountain, Kristoff and Anna meet up with Hans and the army, who capture them since they're corrupted by the shards and want to use Anna to lure Elsa out. At the ice palace, Kristoff fends off Hans while Anna reaches out to Elsa, though Elsa's heart is all but completely frozen, blaming Anna for everything that went wrong in her life ("Life's Too Short" is included here). Anna attempts to refute this, but part of her believes Elsa and crumbles under the grief. Believing that Elsa and Hans are lost, Kristoff will be killed, and Olaf will be brainwashed as another monstrous snowman, she surrenders to Elsa. Seeing that she has no time left, Anna tells Elsa that she loves her and opens her arms before freezing ("Life's Too Short" reprise is here; it's kinda made into just one song). At the last minute, Elsa stops herself, scared of breaking the ice sculpture. She cries and embraces Anna, and her and Hans' ice shards melt from their tears and heartbreak. They bring back Anna's sculpture to the kingdom, where everyone cries for Anna, who had brought so much light into their lives, melting their shards as well. Despite Elsa melting the snow in Arendelle, she is unable to melt Anna. Soon Anna is positioned as a sculpture in the center of the kingdom to remind everyone about letting hatred consume you. As the film begins to fade, the ice begins to melt...
Lemme know what you think, and be sure to check out the changes I'd make for "Raya and the Last Dragon," "Tangled," and "Big Hero 6," as well as suggestions for improving "Pocahontas."

Note
could you write a quick drabble of a moment of sexual tension between Iduna and Agnarr? just curious lol
Gee, Anon 😊 here it is: T-rated, Dangerous Secrets, Prince Agnarr, Ward Iduna, picnic, first kiss, chocolate cakes
I also want to recommend @annaofthenorthernlights sweet and romantic Agduna works: A bed in the meadow and My home is with you
Tumblr media
THE battle for the last slice of a delicious chocolate kladdkaka became less and less innocent as Iduna, completely losing to Agnarr, fell on to her back.
It was a beautiful autumn day, and the young prince and Lord Peterssen's ward decided to have a picnic on the Arenfjord's hills, away from the demanding and watchful eyes of the court.
But even though Iduna's competitive nature began this battle of the century, Agnarr was simply stronger than her. Her ringing laughter from a moment ago faded when Agnarr leaned over her, propping up on his elbows, breathing heavily. The bright blue sky, golden autumn foliage — everything disappeared, leaving only his clear green eyes.
They were shamefully close, almost lying on top of each other, Iduna's grey skirts in complete disarray.
Agnarr looked down at Iduna, scanning her face for any sign of discomfort, watching as her eyes slipped down to his neck, which was visible in the unbuttoned collar of his blue shirt, and back up to meet his lips. Seeing her cheeks turn red, Agnarr felt himself blush as well, but he couldn't bring himself to break this touch, this proximity between them. Iduna's hands squeezed his wrists, caressing his bare skin — it was so warm that Agnarr had rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, baring his strong forearms.
"May I?..." he asked in a suddenly hoarse voice, leaning even closer to her.
Iduna nodded, understanding what he meant. Her heart was beating like crazy, but her face remained calm.
Agnarr bowed and gently kissed the sensitive spot just below her ear, sending shivers down her body; and then, a little bolder, he touched her cheek, and then finally, kissed her on the lips. Overwhelmed, Iduna wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling the prince even closer to her and kissing him in return.
But at the moment when Agnarr completely forgot about everything except his Iduna in his arms, a love mist clouded his mind, Iduna flipped him over to straddle his hips, sitting on top him and giving Agnarr a triumphant smile as she pressed his hands to the plaid blanket.
"The kladdkaka is mine from now on and for ever! I am now the queen!" she giggled, enjoying her silly victory.
But Agnarr remained serious. "All that is mine is yours, Iduna."
And just that one tone of his voice, so deep and meaning, made Iduna feel hot and dizzy for her prince.
She's been living in a dream.

alrighty here’s another post about all my perceived problems with Frozen 2 in honor of Frozen 3 being in production.
The initial and overarching plot point of Frozen 2 is the origins of Elsa’s power. The pinnacle of her journey is reached about 3/4 of the way through the Show Yourself sequence and she steps on the snowflake and, for some reason, sees her dead mom. Not gonna lie, the four spirits/fifth spirit thing is low key dumb.
Okay, let’s break it down. As per my last post, let’s say that Queen Iduna is not Northuldra. Let’s say she and the king (whose name escapes me) did not die on an expedition to discover the origin of Elsa’s power which would, in turn, give Elsa more guilt and fear which she doesn’t even really get to process. (this is another post altogether)
Instead, let’s say the King and Queen simply dedicated themselves to following the instructions they assumed they got from the trolls after the Childhood Incident. They went off to a wedding or some other important thing and, keeping with those instructions, left their children at home, Elsa because she needed to be contained and Anna because she’s younger or something.
Elemental magic is not new to the Frozen universe. In fact, within the first 10 minutes of the film, we’re given a sneak peak which is hinted at again later on in the movie.
When the king and queen find Anna after Elsa accidentally hits her with her magic, it takes the king all of 20 seconds to be like, “I know where we have to go” (despite having to rifle through his library, but that’s a whole other thing)
The king associates elemental magic with the trolls. And with apparent good reason because Grand Pabbie offers wisdom that gets grossly misinterpreted, but the point stands! The trolls have magic and knowledge about it! Amazing!
Later on in the movie when Kristoff and Anna and co. show up at the troll place, when greeting one of the younger trolls, we get this:
Tumblr media
It gets brushed aside because we get the lovely gem of “I passed a kidney stone” immediately after and then Anna draws the attention away from the trolls and the story goes on. BUT! The baby troll earned a fire crystal! Elemental magic! Don’t you think that if the king and queen wanted to discover the origin of Elsa’s magic, that the trolls would be the first stop? If Grand Pabbie can adjust Anna’s memories, certainly he can figure out why Elsa has magic, right? The king and queen never asked, so Grand Pabbie never tried. If Grand Pabbie looked further at Elsa, maybe at her soul or something he could see something and maybe we could get some cool troll lore (which we would get anyway if the second film put the focus on Kristoff) and cool magic lore with something that was established IN THE FIRST FILM.
(One of my biggest pet peeves is when sequels are made with little to no consideration of what the first installment accomplished and too much consideration for what people liked about the first one. Because then they just try to emulate the same energy and the storytelling aspect gets pushed to the back burner.)
Anyway, i’m having way too much fun over analyzing this stuff, see y’all in pt. 3

Witches and Wizards
Anna and Kristoff had been invited over to the simple cabin of Mrs. Bakke, the last resident of the parish of St. Sunniva in the mountains above Arendelle. It was a lovely fall day, and even the old graveyard looked cheerful on a day like this.
The woman walked straight to the fireplace and put on a kettle of water.
“Would you like some tea?” she asked them.
“Yes, please,” Anna replied. “Thank you.”
“And you?” the woman asked Kristoff.
“Sure,” he replied.
In the dark, she looked like some witch or wizard over a smoking cauldron.
“Here you go.”

The Cave
The long-awaited sequel to Midsummer...
Kristoff took a deep breath.  The men of the family were helping him get ready–well, they weren’t family by blood, but that didn’t matter. He had grown up here, and watched others go through this ceremony, and now it was his turn. It was his wedding day.
Somehow, Anna had agreed to this.  He had explained to her in detail what would go on, and as insane as his family’s traditions were, she had agreed. He had heard people use words like “cult” or “commune” when he told them how he grew up, but she had been merely curious, not judgmental. That meant a lot.  He often felt bad that she didn’t have much family, but her sister, Elsa, would be coming.
“She’s here!” one of his cousins whispered through the door.
“Are you ready, Kristoff?” Cliff asked him.
“Ready,” Kristoff affirmed.
He had seen this countless times growing up: they put the white linen over his head, tying it with a blindfold over his eyes.  He would see Anna again once they were married.
He stood there under the midsummer sun listening to the familiar incantations and exhortations about the meaning of marriage, which all took a deeper meaning now.  He was glad they hadn’t invited any of their friends to this, because he was pretty sure he would be an emotional wreck at the end of this once the blindfolds came off and they were really married.
He heard the final words of the ceremony, and someone linked their hands. He didn’t remember Anna’s hands feeling so cold before, but she was probably nervous.
The blindfolds came off.
“Elsa?” he gulped.
“I said I’d be here!” she said cheerfully.
“Where’s Anna?” he whispered, realizing that his family was already coming over to congratulate them.
Elsa didn’t seem to immediately grasp what had happened.  Bulda came over to congratulate her.
“It’s so nice to finally meet you, Anna!” she gushed.
“I’m not Anna,” Elsa told her.
“You’re not Anna?” Bulda repeated, looking confused.  “Would you prefer we called you another name?”
“Elsa, I’m Elsa. Anna is my sister.”
“Ah, I’ll go let everyone know that we should call you Elsa.” Bulda cheerily went off to inform the rest of the family.
Elsa was looking over at the road to the farm. Kristoff realized it was Anna’s car that they were watching approach.
Elsa looked at Kristoff.  He stood, staring. Anna cheerfully stepped out of her car.
“Elsa! Kristoff! Oh! I hope I haven’t kept you waiting too long!”
“Anna, there’s…” Elsa began, obviously not sure what had happened.
“Kristoff,” Anna said as her sister trailed off, “I thought you said I wouldn’t be able to see you until the ceremony was over.”
“So, um, Anna,” Kristoff began, “it’s a funny thing…”
“Well, if everyone is just waiting around,” Anna said, “maybe I should just go introduce myself and then get changed.”
“Anna,” Elsa grabbed her sister’s arm, “I’m so sorry, I have no idea how it happened, but the women thought I was you, and they dressed me up in this, and blindfolded me, and I’m not quite sure-”
“Technically, Elsa and I are married now,” Kristoff explained.
“Wait, what?” Anna exclaimed.

Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favourite opening line. Tag some people to play the next round!
Thanks to @inkandmoonbeams for the tag!
(1) Eugene Fitzherbert had certainly seen quite a lot in his life, but he was fairly certain this was the first time he was being inspected by rock trolls.
(2) The men left, and the boy and his little reindeer couldn’t keep up.
(3) The band was playing some old English carol, and Kristoff stood in the corner of the ballroom.
(4) Mrs. Allen looked at her daily schedule and sighed.
(5) “Here you go,” the man said as he put a pint down on the table.
(6) Elsa sat at her desk sipping at her ice tea, staring out the window.
(7) Frederick and Meibel stood at the dock, waiting for the last possible minute for Frederick to get on board.
(8) Hey, Olaf, are you busy?
(9) Tom pulled the car up to the roadside inn.
(10) It was a warm summer day, and everyone in Arendelle had gathered for a fair.
(11) Princess Anna of Arendelle sat in the library at the castle with Rapunzel, looking at the map spread out on the desk, smiling curiously.
(12) Kristoff sat on the couch, flipping through the channels.
(13) It was a hot afternoon.
(14) Inga stood on the balcony at the palace, looking down at the capital city of the Kingdom of Corona.
(15) The candles were lit.
(16) It was a warm summer evening, and the carnival was in town, and nearly all the servants had been given the evening off to attend, since the family was away.
(17) “Emma, are you well?” Mr. Knightley asked, putting his hand on her shoulder.
(18) “It’s so quiet,” Anna whispered.
(19) “Kristoff, what are you doing?” Anna asked as she stepped into the bathroom.
(20) “The Crown Princess Rapunzel of Corona,” the royal steward announced as he opened the door to the Queen’s study.
Given how many of these I wrote in February ( did one of these in early February, and there’s no overlap), I find it amusing how many of the opening lines reference warm or hot weather.  As far as a favorite line, I don’t know.

Midsummer
Day four of the February Ficlet Challenge... Elsa and Kristoff...
Elsa drove further along the highway, into the unknown.  She didn’t quite trust the GPS to get the right address, but there hadn’t been any cross streets for miles, so she couldn’t have taken a wrong turn.  She was singing to herself, since the only radio stations out this far were not exactly to her taste in music.  She wasn’t much for public performances, but singing in the car by herself was a little secret indulgence.
Rolling farm fields began giving way to hilly woods. She glanced down at her phone.  There was no service whatsoever out here. Probably the hills took care of that.  Elsa didn't mind this drive. She liked Anna’s boyfriend--well, now he was her fiance, and by tonight they would be married.  Kristoff had said he was from nowhere in particular, but Elsa hadn’t realized that he was really from this far out in the middle of nowhere.  He was nice, though, and since Anna had first brought him home, she had trusted him. He had become a good friend, so even though this wedding was a bit sudden, she had given her blessing and jumped at Anna’s request to be her bridesmaid.
“I just wish she would have agreed to ride with me,” Elsa caught herself saying out loud. She sighed. Anna would be there, but she insisted on driving herself so that she could pick up a few last minute items, and she wanted to make sure that someone got there on time so that Kristoff wouldn’t worry.
“In five hundred feet, turn left,” the GPS voice suddenly announced.
Elsa blinked and shook her head. She had zoned out. Lifting her foot off the gas pedal to make sure she had time to turn, she put on the signal despite the complete lack of other cars for miles in either direction. There was a dirt road to the left, but still no houses in sight.
The road was bumpy and rutted, curving this way and that, slowly winding up the hill. The woods began giving way to rocky clearings. Around a rock outcropping, she saw a group of irregular houses, and what she could only guess was a tent for the wedding.
“You have arrived,” the GPS informed her.
“That’s obvious enough,” she muttered at the electronic voice coming from her phone.
She slowed down, the rattle of the gravel quieting down as she pulled to the side of the road at the first house to the right.
Any other cars must be parked elsewhere.  She stepped out of the car, and grabbed the dress hanging in the back seat.  She needed to find where she could change clothes.  Why couldn’t they have planned to at least have an overnight before the ceremony? Anna said she’d never been to this place, either, but Kristoff insisted that they weren’t allowed to be there until right until the ceremony.
***
“Who even does that?” Elsa asked.
“Sorry,” Kristoff apologized, “it’s how my family does things.”
“Where are they from, anyway?”
“Mostly nearby,” Kristoff shrugged. “It’s… kind of their own thing.  I guess it’s kind of new.  I mean, it’s not new, don’t tell them I said it was new, please…”
“Wait, is this like-”
“It’s a kind of a commune, okay? I promise they don’t do anything too out there.  I know there’s that Norwegian movie-”
“I saw it, but it’s Swedish, not Norwegian,” Elsa corrected, immediately realizing she was missing the point.
Kristoff groaned. “Right…  People keep talking about that movie when I tell them about where I grew up. I swear it’s nothing like that.  I’ve told Anna about what’s going to happen at the wedding, so just… play along?”
***
Elsa stood by her car holding the dress in its plastic cover, looking around. Thankfully it wasn’t raining this week. The place would get entirely too muddy. She could see why Kristoff had brought up that movie.  Kristoff didn’t give her bad vibes, unlike- she wouldn’t think about Anna’s ex. She never liked him.
Elsa walked toward the closest house.  “Hello?”
She heard some commotion, and some women came out of the house.
“She’s here!” several said.
Elsa smiled nervously. “Is this where I can change?”
“Don’t worry about that,” one woman said, taking the dress from her.
“You can change into that later after the ceremony,” a younger woman assured her.
Kristoff had said to go with it.  This was for Anna.

Disney Princesses and their mothers: a deep dive
Disney has received deserved criticism about the prevalence of missing mothers in their films, and the Disney Princess films are a notable example of this. It is common knowledge that Disney Princesses’ mothers are almost totally ignored in their films, but is that always the case? How many Princesses have mothers, and what is their representation like?
I will analyse the representation of the Disney Princesses’ mothers (the Disney Queens, so to speak) through the following categories,
1. If the Princess’ mother appears in the film.
2. If the Princess’ mother survives until the end.
3. Whether the Princess’ mother’s name is revealed through the film
4. If the Princess’ mother gets to raise her daughter herself
5. (If none of the above conditions apply) If the Princess’ mother is mentioned in the film by other characters.
First of all, there are only three Princesses in the official Disney Princess line-up who have mothers who fullfil all five categories.
Mulan’s mother, Fa Li:
Tumblr media
Tiana’s mother, Eudora:
Tumblr media
and Merida’s mother, Queen Elinor:
Tumblr media
Secondly, Moana has a mother (Sina) who raised her herself, who survives until the end of the film, but her name is never spoken in the film:
Tumblr media
Aurora has a mother (Queen Leah) who appears in the film and survives until the end, but her name is never revealed and she was unable to raise Aurora herself because she was forced to send her baby away to save her life:
Tumblr media
Likewise, Rapunzel has a mother (Queen Arianna) who appears and survives until the end of the film, but her name is never revealed and she was unable to raise Rapunzel herself because Gothel abducted Rapunzel as a baby:
Tumblr media
Elsa and Anna have a mother (Queen Iduna) who raises her daughters herself, but she tragically dies before the end of the film, and her name is never revealed in the film:
Tumblr media
Out of fifteen Princesses/Queens, only eight of the Princesses have mothers who appear in their films. In my next post, I will analyse the role of the deceased mothers of the Disney Princess franchise and what, if any, impact they have on the narrative.

Analyze These
In honor of the second anniversary of Frozen II, I decided to celebrate by writing an analysis, but one unlike any I have ever done before: an analysis that discusses the meanings of the pun titles for those I wrote about the movie (some of which also discuss the original Frozen)! Now how is THAT for an idea?!?! 😁😄
While I have almost sixty essays for Frozen II, only half of them actually have titles. Many of them are puns of movie, book, and song titles, and even terms, phrases, and idioms/expressions, which includes words that rhyme with or are spelled similar to words from the original sources that inspired the titles. The titles are also puns in at least one other way, as they are the key to and underscore what I discuss in the body of the text. And before any of you ask, yes, this analysis ALSO has a pun title, which is a reference to the film Analyze This! Since I’m analyzing the titles of my past essays, I can’t think of a better title to emphasize this concept! 😆
So here are the names and definitions of all my titled essays about Frozen II, and if you want to read them for yourself, I included their links for easy access as well. Enjoy! 😁
“The Color Purple”
Tumblr media
The title is an obvious allusion to the famous novel and film of the same name.
The words refer to the symbolic meanings of this color and how they relate to Elsa in connection to the few purple clothes she wears.
“Identity Unknown”
The title is a reference to a film of the same name.
The words refer to the then-unknown identities of the Arendellian boy and Northuldra girl (later revealed to be Agnarr and Iduna, respectively, as children) who were prominently shown in the second trailer of Frozen II.
“Two Songs, One Woman”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to the phrase “two halves, one whole”.
The words further connect to this phrase because the two main songs sung by Elsa, the one woman, act as the two halves that complete a whole circle about her accepting herself and her magic.
“Let Down Your Hair”
Tumblr media
The title is a clear nod to the famous line spoken to the titular character in the fairy tale Rapunzel.
The words stress that, from the first movie to the second movie, Elsa transitions from wearing her hair up in a tight bun to letting it down and flowing loose.
“Frozen in Time”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to a nonfiction book of the same name.
The title also refers to an idiom of the same name.
The words emphasize that Elsa freezes while in the bottom cavern of Ahtohallan, after seeing a memory of the time her grandfather killed the Northuldra leader before starting the war in the Enchanted Forest.
Just as she finds out what really happened in the past, Elsa dies and literally becomes “frozen in time”.
“King Runeard, the Lying Hater”
The title is a reference to the nickname given to King Richard, which is “the Lionheart”.
The words between these two titles further connect because they are spelled and sound extremely similar in phonetics, and share the same places. “Richard” and “Runeard” each have seven letters and differ only by three, “lion” sounds like “lying”, and “heart” and “hater” are anagrams of each other.
The words stress how such an informal title fits this tyrant due to the fact that he was a liar with a deep fear and hatred of magic since he believed it was a threat to his kingship.
“The Last Word”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to the idiom of the same name.
The words underscore the meanings of Elsa saying “Anna!” as her last word just seconds before she freezes in Ahtohallan.
“Free Spirit”
Tumblr media
The title is a clear nod to the term of the same name.
The words refer to Elsa’s journey of becoming free and fully accepting herself, including her magic, which she finally does once she discovers that she is the fifth spirit.
Elsa becomes a literal “free spirit”, though she has always been one in personality, after she learns everything she had always wanted to know about herself.
“Born (to Be) Free”
The title is a pun of the nonfiction book and movie title Born Free.
There is a second reference to this movie because that ALSO features a character named Elsa...Elsa the lioness! 😮😵😆
The title is also a pun of the song “Born to Be Wild”.
The words reference that Elsa was the fifth spirit from the moment she was born. She was always meant to be this, and therefore free.
“Mum of All Tears”
Tumblr media
The title is a pun of the movie title Sum of All Fears.
The words stress that Elsa sheds tears upon seeing her mother (for which “mum” is a nickname) during the sequence in “Show Yourself”.
“Mother” is also defined as the greatest or most significant of something. In this case, Elsa cries the mother of all tears when she sees Iduna again.
“The Truth Shall Set You Free”
The title is an allusion to the almost-verbatim statement in the bible.
The words refer to the brief moment in Ahtohallan, where Elsa sees a memory depicting Iduna wanting to tell Agnarr the truth about her being Northuldra. After doing so, she finally felt free (relieved) after having kept this secret for so many years.
“Girls in the Mist”
Tumblr media
The title is a pun of the book and movie title Gorillas in the Mist.
“Girls” is spelled similar to and almost sounds like “gorillas”, making the title another pun of the aforementioned book/film.
The words underscore that both Elsa and Anna (the titular girls) were needed to lift the mist and free the Enchanted Forest.
“Keep Your Hands to Yourself”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to the expression of the same name.
The words refer to Elsa’s habit of placing her hands on her elbows, as a way to avoid releasing magic through them. In assuming this posture, she keeps her hands facing inward and to herself.
“Pride and Prejudice”
The title is an obvious reference to the famous novel of the same name.
The words emphasize that Runeard clearly displays pride and prejudice in the scene where he reveals his true nature and voices his hatred, distrust, and bigotry towards magic and the Northuldra.
“A Royal Title”
The title is an allusion to the term of the same name in reference to monarchy.
The words underscore how the title of Frozen II is written as if it is a title for a person of royalty due to the use of the Roman numeral for 2 rather than the Arabic numeral, similar to a regnal number for a monarch.
“Kindred Spirits”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to the expression of the same name.
The words refer to Elsa discovering that she is a kindred with the elemental spirits of the Enchanted Forest, as the fifth spirit.
Elsa’s role makes her a literal “kindred spirit” amongst the other four elementals.
“Striking Resemblances”
Tumblr media
The title is a nod to the term of the same name.
The words emphasize how the two separate scenes of Anna and Elsa freezing in both films are so striking in their resemblances, especially since they both feature the main villain about to strike down someone with a sword. 😉
“Going off the Deep End”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to the idiom of the same name, which means to make an irrational or irresponsible move.
The words refer to Elsa’s decision of going as deep as she can into Ahtohallan to find the truth about the past, even if it means reaching the end (dying) to do so.
When she makes such a big, risky choice, one that some might call irrational, Elsa literally “goes off” a cliff and into “the deep end”.
“Distant Relative”
The title is a reference to the term of the same name.
The words emphasize that, while Runeard was Agnarr's relative as his father, he was a very distant (aloof, neglectful) parent, only treating Agnarr as an official rather than as a son or person.
Because Runeard was not personally involved in raising Agnarr, he acted more like a literal “distant relative” than a true father.
“Family Ties”
The title is a reference to the TV series of the same name.
The words reference the kind of ties between the royal family of Arendelle, mainly because Elsa and Anna have mixed roots of Arendellian through Agnarr and Northuldra through Iduna.
“Split Decision”
Tumblr media
The title is a reference to a term of the same name.
The words refer to Elsa’s decision that she and Anna must split up now, and she has go to Ahtohallan alone since crossing the Dark Sea would be too dangerous for them to do together.
“Raise Your Voice”
The title is a reference to a movie of the same name (which co-stars Jason Ritter, the voice of Ryder in Frozen II 😮😵😆).
The title is also a reference to the idiom of the same name.
The words refer to the possible reasons why the voice calls to Elsa for the first time in this movie, and that it occasionally raises (gets louder) in volume and becomes more frequent in trying to get Elsa to respond.
“Names of the North”
The title is a reference to the documentary film Nanook of the North.
“Names” starts with the same couple of letters as “nanook”, making it another pun of the aforementioned.
The words reference the meanings of “Northuldra” and “Ahtohallan”, two names of things that are found far north of Arendelle.
“Panic Attack”
The title is a reference to the term of the same name.
The words refer to Runeard going into a panic once the Northuldra leader realizes the truth about the dam, so he decides to attack and kill him just to keep him from telling everyone else the sinister truth.
When he realizes his lie about the dam is about to be exposed, Runeard literally has a “panic attack”, then another after carrying out his murderous deed.
“Go with the Wind”
The title is a clear pun of the famous novel and film title Gone with the Wind.
The words refer to the role that Gale, the Wind Spirit, plays during the movie.
“Bridge of Spirit”
Tumblr media
The title is a pun of the film Bridge of Spies.
“Spirit” is spelled almost like “spies”, making it another reference to said film.
The words reference how Anna and Elsa together are the fifth spirit, the bridge that links the Arendellians and the Northuldra.
“Three of a Kind”
The title is an allusion to the poker hand of the same name.
The words refer to Elsa's three main, unique kinds of dresses and what their appearances symbolize in connection to her personality.
“The Men with Two Faces”
The title is a pun of the film The Man with Two Faces.
The words reference how Hans and Runeard, the main antagonists of the films, are two-faced men, meaning they deceive others into thinking they are good people when they are actually bad.
“Princess Protection Program”
The title is a nod to a TV film of the same name.
The title is also an allusion to the popular program known as the Witness Protection Program.
The words reference how the two princesses have different ways (or unofficial “programs”) of protecting one another, and other people.
“Let It Show”
Tumblr media
The title is a combination of words from the titles of Elsa's two main songs, “Let It Go” and “Show Yourself”.
The title is also a pun of the song “Let It Snow”.
The words emphasize how Elsa gradually then completely accepts herself and her magic, and in doing so, she finally “lets it show”. 😉
“Marry-Go-Round”
The title is a pun of "merry-go-round", which is another name for a carousel.
The words underscore that Anna goes around with two different love interests who ask them to marry her, with each one having a different motive for doing so.
By going from one love interest to another, Anna goes on a figurative “marry-go-round”. 😆
“Safety Worst”
The title is a pun of the common phrase “safety first”.
The words underscore how Anna twice fights back against Elsa forcing her away to safety, making the situations worse for herself.
“Family Matters”
The title is a nod to the TV series of the same name.
The words reference vital matters (which, as a noun, also means “affairs” or “topics”) about the royal family of Arendelle.
The words also stress the fact that family mattered (which, as a verb, means “to be important”) to Agnarr more than anything, while Runeard prioritized his power over everything else, even his family.
“Canon Fodder” (a collab with my good friend @greatqueenanna )
The title is a pun of the term “cannon fodder”.
The words emphasize my and @greatqueenanna’s discussion of Frozen fodder (which is another term for “material”) that is canon and not canon to the franchise.
“Reflections of a Mad Man”
The title is a pun of a book titled Reflections of a Man.
The words refer to Runeard being a man who is mad with power and how this and other traits make him a dark reflection to his descendants (and even a darker reflection of Hans).
“Hello, Goodbye Dolly”
The title is a pun of the play Hello, Dolly!
The title is also an allusion to the song “Hello, Goodbye”.
The words underscore the temporary goodbye to Agnarr’s childhood toy, Sir JorgenBjorgen (the titular “dolly”, which is what young children sometimes call dolls), when he is hidden away, then the hello in reference to when he is unearthed years later.
“Middle Link”
The title is a pun of the movie title Missing Link.
The words emphasize that Olaf acts as the middle of the bridge, of which Elsa and Anna each act as one half, that links the Northuldra and the Arendellians.
“There Goes the Bride”
The title is a pun of the popular wedding march theme that is colloquially known as “Here Comes the Bride”.
The words reference that Rita, the bride, ran away from Runeard, the groom, after years of an unhappy marriage. Her actions of going away are a reverse of the aforementioned song, since “here” and “there” are opposite locations.
“Sinister of Magic”
The title is a pun of the Harry Potter occupation “minister of magic”.
The words refer to Runeard’s xenophobia of magic and that he had sinister intentions to destroy the Northuldra just because they followed magic.

I was looking at the concept art of frozen 2 and I realized that hans was actually mentioned in more than one scene. as I pointed out in concept art, it is most likely Iduna who is holding Elsa's chin, and naturally Elsa's memories of her mother or her mother's movements affect her quite a lot. So, in a way, wouldn't it be strange if such a scene between Hans and Elsa in f3 (if it came out)? after all, there are quite a lot of parallels between these two characters.
if hans had approached elsa the way he did in the scene where he revealed his true intentions, I'm sure it would have affected elsa emotionally

And again rumors about a live action “Frozen”.
Although the last rumor was more about a live action "The Snow Queen", but whatever. If it happens it won't be before "Frozen 3", I would prefer it to be on the franchise's 20th anniversary, but if it happens a year or two after F3 I won't complain. I much prefer a live action one to an episode 4 to be honest.
Just address what came with "Frozen 2" and it will be perfect. Develop better Agnarr and Iduna, Arendelle's past and Hans' sociopathy.
And about the big question: would Elsa be explicitly lesbian in the film?
Tumblr media
First of all Elsa in "Frozen 1" was off the romantic arc for obvious reasons. And in "Frozen 2" there's that explanation from Jennifer Lee. But even if in "Frozen 3" she is confirmed to have an implicit or explicit romance with Honeymaren or another woman, because of F1's problems I don't know if it would be very right to be addressed .
I like the fanfics where she has a secret romance with a female guard or a maid during the events of "Frozen 1", but they end up moving away. But if they were to address it, it would be more interesting just in those dialogues with the sisters discussing romance after Anna decides to marry Hans. Elsa has a certain fame in the franchise with her moments talking about her lack of interest in princes, although she has already defended the romance theme 😏 (this part is ignored by some fans who say that whoever says she is a lesbian is the one who forces opinions lol), so having a sentence about princes that would imply this interpretation, and a look from Elsa at a beautiful woman after the end of Eternal Winter to complete it, I'm more in favor of it.
But if Oaken isn't confirmed as gay I'll consider it a surprise.
Tumblr media
I truly believe that Oaken underwent a retcon in his sexual orientation after "Frozen 1", but that's not a conversation for now.
Tumblr media
And about the ethnicity of the actresses who played the sisters, I couldn't care less. It doesn't matter to me whether Elsa will be a black or white woman. It's not the color of their skin that will make them more or less Anna and Elsa for me.
