Oldest Daughter Dick™ is probably one of my favourite things ever. And it always will be and here's why:
Of course Dick loves his siblings and of course he loves that they know Bruce as the father he is. But it won't stop the jealousy he feels. And no one gets it, not even Jason. They were all raised by Bruce Wayne, he was raised by Batman.
When Dick came to live with him, Bruce had no idea how to he a father. How to handle normal kid stuff like sicknesses and school events let alone the fact he was an acrobat. He was Batman and Dick was raised to be not just his successor but the only contingency plan he had against himself.
Bruce never held his punches ("That was a good block but I still got you, didn't I?" Bruce had said, rubbing cream into the blossoming bruise on Dick's side. "I'll get you next time," Dick had promised, young eyes challenging. "You better." Bruce had grinned back.) All attacks were to remind him that he was at a disadvantage strength wise and thus needed to re-evaluate his lines of defense and offense.
Dick was raised by the paranoid-in-his-late-twenties-probably-shouldn't-be-a-dad-despite-what-Marisol-said Bat. A fun game of catch? He was dodging Batarangs. Learning to drive? It was the Batmobile and he was age 14 (and a half). School events? He was fumbling, awkward and did not want to be there (but still was because he'll be damned if his boy didn't have his support.)
And you know that's fine, Dick was fine. It wasn't Bruce's fault he didn't know how to be a proper dad, despite Alfred's parenting books and videos. And he did try, he was always there. But it just really hits a sore spot everytime he sees Bruce hold a punch before he knocks Tim out cold or when he's behind the wheel with Steph telling her what not to do. Or even when he's at school with Damian and Duke making Marjory and her cupcakes look ridiculous compared to him and his coconut crumble cakes.
It also irritates Dick beyond senseless whenever the topic of sparring with Bruce is mentioned. ("We can all beat the old man Goldie, he's ancient." Jason shrugs off and Dick wanted to scream.) The only one who even tries to sympathize with him was Cass. More than likely because she'd seen him fight as Batman The Dark Knight before seeing him fight as Bruce The Father of Six-Almost-Eight.
And it just really stings because he can't relate to being raised by Bruce the way the others can't. Bruce changed for them, not him. And maybe that kind of hurts. But maybe he's overreacting.
What he doesn't realize is he's the reason why Bruce changed. Bruce saw the hurt and anger in Dick's eyes when he fired him from Robin (Think Shifu denying Tai Lung the Dragon Warrior scroll). He knew the second he saw the betrayal in Dick's eyes after seeing Jason as Robin, that he'd have to change. (The same way Shifu should've changed for Tigress but I digress, not that fandom).
Bruce pulls his punches because he hated seeing Dick limp away from their sparring matches—despite the fire and promise of a rematch in his eyes. He teaches them how to drive regular cars before the Batmobile because the one time Dick crashed (while trying to avoid some of Poison Ivy's vines) his heart rate skyrocketed so high Clark had called him up demanding to know if he was okay. He shows up for Duke and Damian and Cass and Tim because Dick's smile whenever he saw Bruce in the parent's lounge never failed to make him melt.
Bruce stands firm on the fact that while he may have made a hero out of Dick, Dick Grayson made a father out of Bruce Wayne.

in the next mission impossible movie there better be a scene where the one (1) female agent they have has to seduce/flirt with a guy to get information out of him except when she tries, he makes it clear he’s not interested and says something implying he’s gay. so she walks away and into the comms tells the team it didn’t work because “i’m not his type.” then we get semi-frustrated team members telling her “well then become his type, we need the info” etc only for her to interrupt with “i think one of you boys will have a better chance.” then the comms go silent and it cuts to each team member’s reaction of “😳” and the “oh”s as they realize he’s gay. except when it cuts to ethan’s reaction, he’s already sauntering over to the guy and we just hear him say “i’m on it” and then we get scenes of ethan seducing the bad guy and he gets to gay kiss him. if this doesn’t happen i will riot

THE EX-MORNING SERIES CONCEPT
By now I think many people have heard that KristSingto’s upcoming series is an original script that was written for them. What we also have confirmed is that it was written about them.
[source]
KRIST: This series was written by P'Backaof and directed by P'Lit where they created this script from the start deliberately for the two of us and they got information for the characters etc. from KristSingto directly. In the series, the name for P'Sing is Tamtawan, and my name is Phatapi. And Tamtawan Tamtawan and Phatapi are KristSingto themselves.
INTERVIEWER: Does that mean you play yourself?
KRIST: [laughing] Yes, we act as ourselves, so it's not difficult at all.
Today, Aof elaborated on his part on Twitter:

And Jojo added:

So, two gay men are the leading creative minds behind KristSingto’s comeback series. Time to study up on your KristSingto history, kids. \:D/
Long live sanctioned RPF. 🎉

(Sorry, I know I sent a lot of questions already so feel free to ignore this one akdks)
How do you feel about truth serum tropes? I think it has a lot of potential for angst scenarios - not sure which HH character would be the best "victim" though... It's a tie between Angel Dust and Alastor for me!
I spent WAY too long with Jin Guangyao and Mu Qing as my blorbos of choice in their respective fandoms to not have some strong feelings about truth serums as a concept, ehehehe. I actually fucking love truth serum tropes, but I am also phenomenally picky about them.
The key point for me is that I do not enjoy them as a comedic premise! I want truth serum to be tackled with as much seriousness as the character it's being inflicted upon would see it with. Being forced to reveal your secrets - the secrets you're keeping for your emotional well-being, for your safety, for your reputation - is deeply fucked up and traumatizing. It's an extremely vulnerable position to be in depending on the character it's done to!
Bonus points for trope subversion a la a character being dosed with truth serum and the people close to them understanding that this is deeply fucked, and promptly doing everything they can to ensure that it's not taken advantage of.
I don't know if there is any Hazbin Hotel character that would be as satisfying to truth serum as Jin Guangyao, but here are a couple of ideas:
Angel Dust gets popped with it and is pretty good at spinning his words into innocuous glib comments that he thinks are totally fine jokes to make about his situation, except he doesn't realize that everyone is just growing increasingly horrified as he goes on because his normal-meter is so broken
Lucifer gets dosed and it just kinda shoves all of his self-deprecating dark-as-fuck-but-as-a-humorous-cope thoughts from the inside to the outside sans filter and it's just a magnifying glass onto how not okay he is that whips away his thus far semi-successful attempts to keep it together

what got me the most in the 10th episode (apart from the Alan x Dean scene that i was not expecting and was phenomenal) was Babe kissing Charlie's forehead. i had to stop watching to have my moment and to just breathe and give me time to cry. when Babe kissed him it was a moment of pure and raw pain, no more loud crying, or screaming, but a silent cry filled with care and love and deep engraved-for-life pain. and i feel like the kiss on the lips was the first impact, Babe's need to touch him, to see if Charlie reacted and was really dead, but those three kisses on the forehead. for the love of!! the care mixed with all that hurt and loss. Babe is so hurt by Charlie's death as it's expected but it's more than 'i lost him' or 'he is dead'. it was much more like 'he did not deserve this'. but not a cliche. it was like a film passing through: 'this man was treated as a nobody because a lunatic thought he was a normal alpha, hence 'unusable'...he could try to live a rather normal life but he knew i was in danger and i would be used…so he left that idea of a normal life behind and risked it all for me…he really entered my life with that sole propose...he lied willingly but also solely for my own good...he did not make fake excuses based on self pity...he ended up being part of my found family and he was a good person to all of them even for the one that was constantly criticising him...he loved me more than he loved himself…and now he is dead…he did not deserve this'. when you know the extent of someone's life, choices, willingness, that last statement will have a much bigger impact. and Charlie embodied that. so… my question is, how can Babe be sane right now? how is he even walking? talking? eating? i would be so depressed to the point of manifesting psychotic traits. i wouldn't have the courage to unalive myself, but i would just let my body be still and exist quietly somewhere while rewinding memories and regrets and untold words and just speaking to him and apologising and saying how much i love him, and i would do it until i perished

(totk endgame spoilers)
there is something I've been trying to put into words about how much of the game is spent learning to think like a Zonai. OK. Points:
Look me in the eye and tell me you've never tried to Ascend in another video game after spending a few hours in TOTK. You can't. I don't believe you if you do. I was looking for ascend-able spots in Pokemon the other day. I also saw a pile of just. random materials on the ground and went "what am I supposed to Ultrahand those into." And yes this is standard Tetris Effect nonsense, I'm not claiming it's unique, but in-world, think about Link, a Hylian, learning to rely so completely on these ancient powers. And his access to these powers not being technological a la the Sheikah Slate but being grafted onto his body.
The sheer number of shrines in the "A [Whatever] Device" pattern. Shrines designed very explicitly to teach you "here is the basic function of this Zonai device. Here are some more complex or novel ways to use that same device." I do wonder what purpose these shrines were intended to serve when they were created by Rauru before the Imprisoning War. Did he hope his children/descendants would inherit Zonai magic? Or just that Hyruleans would incorporate Zonai tech into their lives? We do see, for example in the "A King's Duty" tear, Hylians lugging around rockets...
And then there is the skydiving. The way that, at the beginning of the game, yes of course Link is willing to leap after Zelda no questions asked, but he can't catch her. But then you spend dozens of hours exploring the world, navigating the game's verticality. You maybe do the Zonai coming-of-age Diving Ceremonies. You maybe do the labyrinths and dive from the sky to the depths. It seems that these agile dives from high places were meaningful in Zonai culture--and they signified/demonstrated courage, so of course this is something for Link to become proficient in. And become proficient he does, such that at the end of the game he's able to dive and at last catch and save Zelda.
The Zonai are gone, at the end of the game. Rauru and Mineru join Sonia in whatever world beyond there is, and even Link's arm--the arm that allowed him to access this ancient culture, in ways both metaphorical and literal--is returned to normal. If ever Link felt a sense of disconnect, having this arm from another species grafted onto his body, I think he must feel that same sense of disconnect and displacement in having it removed. For a time, he was almost the last embodiment of this culture. And now he isn't anymore.

A new ref for Lemmy, and an official design and introduction of Limmy in This Universe Has Lemons In It! Limmy was created by the Guardian of the Lemonverse (any pronouns) as an attempt to stop Lemmy from what they are doing, which is creating portals to travel through various universes and dimensions to have fun. Not only is that a risk for the balance of the universe, but GotL just dislikes this kid having fun and wants to see them stopped.
Not wanting to do it in it's own hands, it created Limmy, an angel dog meant to be an direct opposite to Lemmy. Limmy, however, doesn't do much to stop Lemmy, other than following them and bickering. Their relationship is very Tom and Jerry rivalry-esk.
(Names color coded for myself to read easier due to the similar names!)
Fun fact, Limmy was originally going to be based on limes (Lime Angel), but I kept that concept for GotL - and made them more angel-like instead.
