Have you see new Hypnosis Mic A.R.B? Part 1

Man i didn't play this game but i suddenly invest with these game after seeing their recent event called "Detective Six Part 1".

Sorry for my Bad English and writing, I am not native speaker and I don't really understand how to write bcos my dyslexia but I really want to make this long post bcos I really exicted! Here we go!

So this event is now about Badass Temple and Fling Posse Cosplaying as some detective to solve mystery. If i am not mistaken this is not first time this game do this. I remember previously they make similar event with Sherlock Holmes's theme with Samatoki, Gentaro and Rei as characters.

I don't really understand Japanese, bcos i can only read Katakana for now. But i like detective stuff, so i will have fun to write my guest here. In the moment i saw the character artwork I recognize some of them. If i am mistaken, please inform me.

Let us starting first with Kuko's base on his card title. 【波羅夷家の一族】 is pretty similar to a Japanese novel name 【犬神家の一族】 or in English title The Inugami's curse.

Kousuke Kindaichi is detective created by Seishi Tokomizo. He is describe as a shabby looking young man with a short height. But have a strong observation skills and logic thinking. His character is feature on 76 novels and appearing in a numerous FIlm, Television and Stage Adaptation.

The Inugami's curse was novel written by Seishi Yokomizo, a mystery novelist as part of Kousuke Kindaichi's series. So of course I think he's cosplaying as Kousuke Kindaichi. Minus the robe but he wears the iconic hat base on the statue. I also doing google a bit and later find out the hat is also part of the costume for 2006 film adaptation. This is a neat reference!

Next is Jyushi. Jyushi card is 【アルゴξ急行の殺人】 that literaly translated in google translate as "Murder in Argo Cart". This is clearly referring to Agatha Christie's novel "Murder in Oriented Express" and who is the star of the novel? Of course its Hercule Poirot!

Hercule Poirot is one of Agatha Christie most famous character. Not much know about his history beside he came from a large family with little wealth in small town on Europe. But he's a former police officer turn into private detective who solve many mystery in his later career. Poirot operates as a fairly conventional, clue-based and logical detective. But sometimes he willingly to hide some important detail of his plan if necessaries. Another fun fact is, Poirot sometimes refer to himself in third person.

Actually before i notice his card name, I already knew he cosplaying either as Hercule Poirot bcos his outfit is pretty familiar to this detective. But i have second thought and think maybe he's cosplaying as John Watson, considering what Hitoya wearings.

But after seeing the card name. I am pretty sure he's cosplaying as Hercule Poirot! But still I am still supersize finding out about this!

And then last, the third member! Hitoya! His card is written 【医師が相棒】 which is literally translate as "Your partner is a doctor". Now who is the famous detective with doctor as their partner? That right. its one and only Sherlock Holmes!

Sherlock Holmes is a detective that no need introduction. Currently he's IS the most famous fictional detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that still relevant in this age thanks to numerous modern adaptation.

Hitoya maybe the fourth person who cosplaying as the famous detective from Arthur Conan Doyle story. But I think his outfit is the closest one that similar to the legendary detective compare the other three. I mean look at the old Sherlock Holmes picture that i found as reference.

(But I do admit, maybe not his belt thou hahhaa.)

But then i think He IS the perfect choice to portrayed as the famous detective <3 he just need to put the hat on his head XD

i’ve been brainrotting about it recently, so here are some assorted thoughts:

so you know how there are certain games and media that incorporate music into their battles or fighting? like rhythm games or hypnosis mic? think of an mc that fights,,, with their voice.. they already sort of use their singing to help in certain situations, but i mean actually battling. 

learning different strategies and songs for certain situations, practicing or “sparring,” either with a partner or by themselves, learning which songs can pacify, which can harm, and which can heal, learning how different tempos and pitches change their impact. memorizing those songs by heart, and in the heat of battle, pulling just the right notes and lyrics to completely demolish their enemies with just a song.

imagine yuu learning as they go through their years at night raven, honing their skills until they’re able to heal or power up their allies, or demolish entire armies with hellfire or powerful shockwaves, just from a song.

on that note, a yuu that plays an instrument! 

i think that would make their songs all the more powerful, since the accompanying melody boosts the power of the lyrics. (bard yuu lol) the characters that play an instrument would definitely want to do a duet. there's not much to say ab it i just think it's neat.

cater, kalim, and lilia are ECSTATIC, every cult member and/or yuu stan is clamoring to join the club (but oopsie daisy unfortunately we can’t fit any more members in our band :) sorry~)

and also yuu is banned from singing the Forbidden Tunes during club activities, for safety reasons

but they’re still a great singer! along with cater’s voice, lilia’s guitar skills, and kalim’s drumming, they make for a harmonic team. the band both writes their own music and does covers. (do you think that because twst is a disney game, any twst song or any song written in tw is a Lyric?? could yuu literally just write their own spells????!)

and the club does shows every once in a while! they even get cool themes and costumes. (tickets sell out shockingly fast, it’s brutal (azul is punching the air))

possible band names could be: siren and the songbirds (personal fave), nightingale(s), fantasia, and sirensong

me beating my boyband(gn)/faux kpop group au urges back with a stick

  yuu does regular performances at the mostro lounge!

sometimes they’re planned, sometimes they’re a surprise event, and sometimes yuu just gets up on stage and starts busting out the tunes

occasionally, it’ll be a big event, one that you have to buy a ticket/reserve a seat for. and the lounge is decorated and yuu has a fancy schmancy outfit and all that good stuff~

but most of the time it’s a more casual (as casual as mostro lounge can get, anyways) thing. it’s a regular night at the lounge, yuu is wearing a simple yet lovely outfit, and they’re up on the stage crooning some relaxing jazz~

azul is having the time of his life raking in that sweet sweet cash and some sweet sweet eye candy, floyd has had to be held back several times from hopping onto the stage, jade is just enjoying the music, and every yuu stan is either dying of happiness, or crying themselves to sleep (if they didn’t manage to snag a ticket/reservation)

(i like to think that pomefiore (mostly just rook and vil, really) and/or crewel does yuu’s hair, makeup, and overall styling)

Drabblecember Day 16 - Scrapbooking

When being asked to crash at his place to make a scrapbook Ramuda had not expected that. After all, Ann was known for having two left hands so trying to do something like a scrapbook was a surprise on its own. But he was ever so curious, though he had tried not to pry. But of course, Ramuda being Ramuda, he couldn't stop himself from prying. Curiosity had gotten the better of him and thus he snuck up behind them. They had been sitting on the couch, putting photos together or cutting shapes out first. Not to mention decorating it.

Stickers, doodles and scribbled letters to make it look more appealing to the eye and not just filled with pictures of… “Ole?” He asked, making them freeze in place, though calming down quickly and turning around, smiling lightly. “Heh, looks like I've been found out.” They responded, chuckling ever so slightly. “Yeah, the Ole scrapbook.” Hearing that Ramuda decided to lean against the couch and getting a closer look, he saw several images of the black and white cat. Him sitting, sleeping, eating, hanging out with two other men in Osaka and even standing on top of a Christmas tree.

Sometimes Ole even wore costumes – A cat tailored yukata, a scarf, several tiny hats and even a coat with long sleeves, worn like a cape. The images varied and Ole seemed to have a better fashion sense than Ann… Then again, not like Ramuda was surprised about that. Something else was impressive… “That's a lot of pictures within the span of a year.” He noted, slightly impressed. “Does he enjoy having pictures taken?” “More or less. I just want to take as many pictures of him as possible, y'know. “ They responded as they turned their attention back to the scrapbook.

“Why's that? Is he going to apply for a model job?” Ramuda joked at first, though when thinking about it… “I never tried making clothes for cats… And he has potential… Aha! Say, you think Ole would model for me!?” The thought kind of excited him actually. Sounds like fun! And yet, Ann only shrugged, yet chuckling. “You can ask him next time he comes over. “ They responded ever so calmly. “I'm just collecting memories.” – “Memories?” – “Of course. He isn't very young y'know! Who knows how long it'll be! So to never forget I wanna make yearly scrapbooks of Ole.“

Yearly scrapbooks… That was something Ramuda had not expected, not even how close Ole and Ann grew. A scrapbook to collect shared memories, to remember the past and look back at it fondly… Honestly, the idea of something like this… It made him fuzzy. He couldn't help but smile before suddenly suggesting: “Hey, can we also make a yearly scrapbook? Together?” – “Huh? I mean… Sure but where's that coming from?” – “Hehe, no special reason! It just sounds like fun~! Pretty please~?” – “I mean, I see why not?” – “Yay! Thank you Ann–Chan! Let's make sure to make lots of memories together!”

i still can't believe hypnosis mic did an episode where Fling Posse and Matenro where all dressed as JTTW characters. i WISH i could've witnessed the writers room that came up with this episode. two of the characters were in a horse costume practically the whole time. despite being a costume the circlet on Ramuda actually works. they use the circlet to find Ramuda when he wanders off on his own (they locate him from his shriek). Ramuda (who already has a high voice) gets put under the effects of helium. there's like 2 allegories happening in this episode. what the FUCK happened in the writers room.

I’m a biro-ace transmasc guy living in the American South and outside of this my main hobbies are tabletop gaming, costuming/fashion, and writing. Flufftober 2022 - 31.10

The final entry!! I’ll make a short post about Flufftober tomorrow. Until then… Happy Halloween!! This was written before ARB’s new Sasara’s birthday dialogues.

Title: The Punpkin King

“Thank you again for watching this special Halloween episode of NuruSara’s Bizarre Adventures!” Sasara’s cheerful voice echoed in the studio. “I witch you all a scary and funny Halloween!!!”

The comedian waved at the camera until the director stopped the filming. “Good job, everyone!”

The entire staff clapped and cheered as a few assistants ran to help Sasara with his pumpkin costume.

“Uh, I’d actually like to borrow this for tonight!” He said with a smile. “I’ll go to a private party and I didn’t have time to think about a costume!”

One of the assistants looked at him with a surprised face. “Nurude-san… Are you sure? It’s a little over the top…”

“What do you mean? I look gourd-geous!” Sasara laughed, pointing to the pumpkin hat he was wearing.

After the usual greetings and thanks to the guest of that live episode, Sasara left the studio alone. Osaka was decorated in Halloween themed slogans, lights and images. Even if it was still early in the evening, there were already partygoers in flashy costumes around so his pumpkin-self didn’t stand out too much. The colors, the laughter and the general mood of Halloween were something Sasara enjoyed a lot. 

When he was younger, he used to hate the festivity. Everyone had always forgotten to celebrate his birthday because of Halloween and, at the time, it had become a personal grudge. As years passed though, he understood that Halloween was a good occasion to make others happy with jokes and cool costumes so… he might have started to forget about his birthday too. It wasn’t that important, was it?

(The last time he had actually celebrated his birthday was during that crazy period with Samatoki. The yakuza kid had gotten so mad when he discovered that Sasara had just forgotten to tell him about his birthday a few weeks earlier. He had forced the comedian to pay for his, Kuko’s and Ichiro’s dinner as a punishment, but they surprised him with a few gifts too.)

He took a look at his phone. It was still too early for the Dotsuitare Dinner to Rosho’s apartment, but… it wouldn’t be the first time he entered the house with his own keys anyway. With a sigh, he headed to the Tsutsujimori household.

As he predicted, the apartment was empty. Rosho was probably out picking some groceries. He took a cold beer out of the fridge and sat down on the floor. 

Sasara had no idea how much time had passed since he had started to watch a funny foreign movie on tv. He heard a few voices outside the main door and stood up. Even though they were muffled, he recognized Rei’s deep timbre and Rosho’s tired tone. When the teacher finally opened the door, he seemed surprised to see Sasara there.

“S-Sasara? What are you doing here?”

“Well, I got off work early and thought I could help you with cooking our dinner!” He bowed a little. “This humble pumpkin is at your service!”

He expected a joke, an irritated comment or just… something, but Rosho didn’t say a single word. Only Rei snickered a little. Sasara looked up and observed the two. They weren’t wearing costumes or creepy makeup. The conman was carrying a box that looked like it contained a cake. Rosho had a few colorful packages in his hands.

“Oh, guys…” He started with a small smile. “Is it Christmas already?”

“No, you dumbass! You just… we wanted to surprise you for your birthday!” Rosho sighed and left all the boxes on the low table. “That’s why I asked you to come by at a specific time!”

“Ah.” Sasara felt his cheeks burn a little and tried to hide the big smile that appeared on his face. “Maybe… I can come back later?”

“Shut up.” Rosho glared at him before smiling softly. “Happy birthday, Sasara.”

“Happy birthday.” Rei chuckled again. “Where should I put the cake, Sensei?”

“Cake? Can I see it??” The comedian jumped excitedly around Rei.

“It’s a Melon Sponge Cake and… no, you can’t!” Rosho scolded him and tried to stop him. “You will have to wait after dinner!”

“B-but… it’s my birthday…” Sasara murmured, pretending to cry.

Rei’s thunderous laughter rumbled in the small apartment. “Sorry, Sasara, it’s hard to take you seriously with that costume.”

“It’s hard to take him seriously in general!”

“Hey, I’m the birthday pumpkin-boy! You should trick or treat me better!”

“You’ve ghost to be kidding me. Your Halloween puns are so bad.”

As the two exchanged equally awful jokes, Rei left the cake in the kitchen and took a beer for himself. He looked at the duo, smiling. “Dinner and show for free? What a deal.”
