I love this show so much already.
First of all, the casting was so amazing. Even if a few characters didn’t look exactly how I picture them when reading, the acting was spot on. Annabeth’s attitude and blunt answers were great, Percy’s sarcasm was there, Grover and his nervous energy was spot on. DONT even get me started on the Luke casting, it’s exactly what I pictured and he looks thr perfect amount of older than the main 3 (Even though Grover’s 24 💀)
The monsters look insane. I literally cannot wait for the hydra battle because of how cool it’s gonna look. And I already know the underworld is gonna look fantastic I can just feel it I’m so excited for that.
AND THE FIGHT SCENES OH MY GODDDDD. They’re so well choreographed and look so awesome. Percy vs Clarisse was literally so awesome.
Obviously there were tiny changes made to the show, but they’re TINY and even add to the flow. Not every adaptation of a beloved series is going to be perfect and I’m sure there’s little things I could nit pick if I wanted to, but that’d be like comparing 1000 pros to 1 con.
BOOK SPOILER PART
I can’t wait for all the reveals and stuff with Luke, I have a feeling that he’s gonna act it out really well.
I have high hopes for all 5 seasons being made for the whole series, not as high of hopes for a spin off Hero’s of Olympus series. However I’d love if that happened too. That’s way in the future though.
Last thing, THE MYTHOMAGIC CARDS!!!!
If they don’t make a set of Mythomagic cards for merch I’m gonna be so sad I’d totally buy some.
