Story Event: Wicked love blooming in the dark night (part two)

Chapter 3 Premium

Chapter 1

Chapter 2

This part is a bit screenie heavy but I had to show all the boys hanging out together. Plus Victor's facial expressions running between icy cold, serious, soft and goofy.

~~Part 1~~

There was no way I could make it in time, even if I stretched out my hand, so the tea set shattered into pieces.

Councilman with glasses: "T-that's terrible! Lord Victor's guest broke Her Majesty's tea set!"

Kate: "... just now, someone pushed me-"

I stopped myself mid sentence once I realised the gravity of what just happened.

Forget the reasons, I needed to focus on the fact that Her Majesty's precious tableware had been destroyed.

Kate: "I'm terribly sorry..."

Councilman with glasses: "This item was an important symbol. Even someone as magnanimous as Her Majesty will not forgive such carelessness."

Kate: "I-I..."

The moment I looked down helplessly, a big hand wrapped around my shoulders and hugged me.

Victor: "... Apologies for being late, Kate."

Kate: "... Victor. Victor, I'm so sorry. I-"

Councilman with glasses: "Perfect timing. Your guest caused this disaster, what are you intending to do about it?"

Victor: "She's not at fault. If you want to hold someone accountable, I'll take the full responsibility."

Victor: "- However, only if it's necessary, am I right?"

Councilman with glasses: "... what do you mean by that?"

Victor picked up the pieces of tea ware scattered on the ground and smiled.

Victor: "As it happens, this is my tea set."

Councilman with glasses: "....huh!?"

~~Part 2~~

Victor: "Whenever I have an afternoon tea with Her Majesty, I tend to break something."

Victor: "That's why I often use my personal sets. As it happens, this was one of them."

Victor: "Though why was it in here, I wonder. Well, it doesn't matter now."

His jewel like eyes turned ice-cold.

It was enough to instantly send shivers through the onlookers.

Victor: "She did break it. Is there any problem with that...?"

Councilman with glasses: "....!"

Victor: "Even if this was something Her Majesty treasured..."

Victor: "My guest is not going to be a target of such trivial accusations."

Victor: "Those of you who know Her Majesty should be aware of that, shouldn't you?"

Councilman with glasses: "T-that, of course."

Victor: "Hmm- I see! Then let the party continue. As for us, we'll excuse ourselves."

Victor: "-see you later, gentlemen. Have a wonderful time!"

Victor gently closed the office door whilst still holding my shoulder.

Victor: "Kate, I know it was scary. All is good now."

(....I wondered what would have happened)

Kate: "Thank you so much for your help, Victor. Also..."

Victor: "Don't apologize, Kate. I'm fully aware that something happened to you there."

Kate: "Oh..."

~~Part 3~~

Kate: "Thank you so much for your help, Victor. Also..."

Victor: "Don't apologize, Kate. I'm aware that something happened to you there."

Kate: "Oh..."

Victor put his hand on my head and softly narrowed his jewel-like eyes.

Victor: "Come on, I can't stand having your day ruined by such a trifle!"

Victor: "As your lover, I'll do some palette cleansing, if you don't mind."

Victor: "So come, everyone come in! Come in, come i-in."

He snapped his fingers and a group of maids came out of nowhere.

Kate: "Eh, wait a minute, where are we going!?"

He gracefully handed me over to the maids, who grabbed my arms and led me out of the room.

Moments later, I found myself stripped naked, then dressed up from head to toe.

I gasped seeing my reflection in the mirror.

(This dress... it's the one that caught my eye in Harrods)

There was only one person who could possibly notice that.

The maids smiled and led me to the dance hall-.

Waiting for me in the open doorway were members of the Crown.

Kate: "This is..."

William: "It's your welcome party. Though the one who planned it all is not here."

William: "It's rare that the Crown gets together like this. Enjoy it to the fullest... You look exceptionally beautiful tonight."

(Victor, I can't believe you would go to such lengths for me)

Seeing my surprise, Liam shrugged his shoulders apologetically.

Liam: "I'm really sorry, Kate. I was there when the tea set broke, but I couldn't catch it."

Kate: "You were beside me?... I'm sorry Liam, I don't understand..."

~~Part 4~~

Ellis: "Liam, I'm sure Victor didn't say anything to Kate. He wouldn't want to worry her."

Liam: "Ah..."

Harrison: "You said that much already. Why don't you properly explain it to her?"

Liam: "I see, that's true. OK"

Liam: "First of all, Kate. Have you felt being watched since your arrival at the Castle?"

(Being watched? Ah)

Kate: "Yes, many times. But I thought it was just my imagination..."

Jude: "Just your imagination, horseshit. You were targeted by a member of the Privy Council."

Kate: "Could it be... related to the fact that the Council members don't approve of the Crown?"

Roger: "Why Miss, you're really quick on the uptake. Of course, you're right. Mind you, it'd be extremely difficult to drag us down."

Elbert: "...that's why your existence could be a perfect weakness."

Alfons: "It was obvious to us that you were being targeted."

Alfons: "We decided to set a trap and catch the culprit before the trouble arose."

Kate: "Trap... Then, the tea party held today..."

Alfons: "Yes, I used my little ability to guide them. It was quite fun."

Liam: "But we didn't know who was after you, or what was their aim."

Liam: "That's why we consulted with Victor and decided to use my ability to watch over you."

Liam: "....I never thought he would do such a silly thing, so I couldn't prevent it."

Kate: "But the tea set belonged to Victor. Did he, by chance, knew ahead of time...?"

Elbert: "...oh, I'm sure he saw it coming and replaced it."

Harrison: "Well, there should be no one left to meddle with you today."

Kate: "Huh...?"

Harrison: "Victor walked with you around the Court to make sure everybody knew you were an 'important guest' of his."

Harrison: "That's all there's to it. Only a fool would risk hurting you in such circumstances."

Harrison: "There's a reason for everything he does, just like with magic tricks."

William: "That's why Victor is called the Grim Reaper."

William: "And surely by now-"

~~Part 5~~

The sound of heavy footsteps echoed in the dark hallway.

Victor: "Good evening. What a lovely night, don't you agree?"

Councilman with glasses: "Ah! L-lord Victor..."

Victor: "No, I didn't think you'd be surprised. You're like a child who is waiting to be scolded."

Victor: "Hey, I told you, didn't I? To treat her as if she was a gentle flower."

Councilman with glasses: "That's..."

Victor: "Now then, choose..."

Victor: "Are you going to make sure such folly will never happen again, or would you rather I make it a certainty?"

Victor: "A quick answer is preferable. I have a party to attend."

(The day we spent as a couple worked exactly as Victor intended)

Becoming my lover and getting involved with the Privy Council, everything must have gone according to his plan.

And this plan became a shield for me, residing in this place ever since.

(Victor is a person who is so extraordinary I might struggle to comprehend him)

Like the night that covered the sky, his heart was obscured to us, and no one could truly grasp his reality.

(...I don't know why, but for some reason I really want to see him)

A beautiful melody filled the space and made me realize that William was playing the piano.

At that moment, I heard the sound of footsteps behind me. When I turned around, there was a-

Victor: "Wow, Kate. Both the dress and the hair ornament look good on you. You're so beautiful."

Kate: "... Victor."

Kate: "Victor... I don't know where to event start thanking you -"

Victor: "The look on your face tells me there are many things you want to talk to me about."

Victor: "That's fine. If you want, I'll explain everything. Though before that..."

A beautifully shaped hand was held out to me.

Victor: "Would you mind having a dance with this Grim Reaper, my lady?"

I post so many pics of the big guy, but I don't think I've really gone into his background too much...and I was in the mood to info dump!

Nathanial Alasdair Watt

Age: 37

Nationality: Scottish

As the General of the Commonwealth Minutemen, he has earned a place in the hearts of the people. His kind demeanor and bravery have won him the admiration of many. As a pre-war, decorated war hero, Nate knows a thing or two about combat, leadership, and survival. His reputation precedes him.

Just a bunch of facts and screenies of my boy below the cut 🙌

Cat Like Reflexes and sense of exploration: At 6ft, he's surprisingly agile on his feet. Growing up in his family's profession (that's still a secret 😏) he needed that upper body strength and found he was more than comfortable being up high. 💪🏻

Teddy Bear: He comes across as someone not to mess with, but this big lad has a big heart and a big personality that is tested a lot post-war...but when you're General of the Minutemen... whilst simultaneously trying to make sure the other factions don't annihilate each other... well you gotta maintain a sense of humour... so Nate enjoys knowing people find him intimidating, just to watch their faces when he deadpans a somewhat dubious response... oh and he'll never ditch that twirly mustache! (his tats are a form of self expression, but two have meaning. The rose on his neck, with Nora's name...and Shaun's name under his wedding band)

The Wanderer: The fact that he ended up settling down was a surprise to him as much as it was to everyone who knew him pre-war. Nate grew up on the road, his family traveled all over. Moving to America from Scotland when he was was a young lad of fifteen... leaving homeland was something that took Nate some time to accept and it wasn't until his sister came along two years later that Nate stopped being angry at the world.

The Sole Survivor: Seventeen years her senior, he was very close to his baby sister Elspeth, and was as much a part of defining the bright young woman she grew up to be. Nate and Nora recognised El needed stability and had a dream of doing more than just tinkering. She had a knack for robotics and fascination for how things work. So they offer her a place to stay whilst she studied in Boston. Losing his best friend and partner in crime is particularly hard on Nate, because El was the only person he could ever truly let his guard down around.

Atom's Gift: Nate's unphased by a lot of things, and one of those things is radiation. "Sole Survivor" isn't a new moniker to Nate, who's often found himself coming to in wake of destruction. Survivor's guilt is something he's had to endure many times over... and to some extent it makes him reckless... it's difficult to keep a level head in the heat of the moment when you feel like nothing can touch you.

Protector of Strays: So when he stumbles up a canny looking German Shepherd, he doesn't think twice about letting him tag along. "Dugmeat" helps Nate a lot in the early days out of the Vault, and it is rare you'll see Nate without his hairy shadow (oh and taking in 'strays' does extend to the human variety)

Nobody is beyond redemption (mostly): Nate's fatal flaw is probably his inibility to say no, and if faced with someone (or a group of someones) whom may be deemed 'unsavoury' or 'a risk' if Nate sees potential, then he's gonna try. So, when Nate meets MacCready, he sees a lot of his younger self... a young guy down on his luck who just needs somebody to give him a chance... it isn't long before the pair bond and Nate truly takes the young scrap under his wing. Being close in ages with his late sister, he's used to dealing with difficultly headstrong individuals... But to be clear, you only get one chance. If you break his trust, don't expect to be given a second chance.

More than just business partners: When Nate meets Jacob, the stranger who hears his radio broadcast about setting up a new Settlement in his old neighbourhood of Sanctuary Hills with his "ASAM" sensors. Nate decides to humor the guy, and quickly finds himself revisiting feelings he'd spent a great deal of his younger years trying to ignore... and tries to again. But in the Commonwealth, life has a way of reminding you that every moment is precious... Nate takes a chance.

At a Minute's Notice: A natural leader and protector, the Minutemen reformation was the foundation Nate needed to build upon. With Jake's ASAMs and Nate's influence, more factions emerge in the Commonwealth, and Nate is more than happy to support in any way he can... if there is a uniform that fits, he'll wear it.

All seeing he is not: Sometimes the world has a way of humbling you and there is nothing more frustrating for this Sole Survivor than having his specs knocked off his face in the heat of battle...or having to rummage around in the dirt and debris long after.

Romance Things

Things to include in your story if there is a romantic pairing. Nothing in particular, but like just things for characters to do or say that sort of stuff. I'm a sap so most of it's gonna be sappy

A character that goes on social media specifically to take screenies of cute posts to send to their partner

"do you have stuffed animals?" "uhhh yeah i have one... but i'd rather cuddle with you."

it's the way they go out of their way to make sure the other knows they're thinking of them. small messages and everything.

planning small gifts of things that they like for a first date, including some soda tabs and a note.

late at night texting and one of them stops responding for a few hours. Texting at like midnight "im sorry baby i fell asleep" then later in the morning freaking out and saying "omg i didn't mean to call you that im so sorry". Only to be flustered by the response "no worries. did you sleep well baby?"

both characters freaking out and being nervous about the other and constantly talking about them to all of their friends all the time. and still being so insecure about how the other feels

they take a long time to reply after one of them sends a picture of themselves because they're either freaking out, drooling over it, dropping their phone from surprise, or too flustered to type. Or all of the above.

When they can't meet up in person, the silly little video calls and video games dates that they have. choosing to create a little date in minecraft or marry each other in stardew. It's adorable

it's the way they get together and start looking for excuses to touch the other, hand holding, leaning, playing with their hair. it's how they communicate their affection without speaking

it's how all they want to do with the other is hang out. whether it's playing games, taking a walk, doing their nails, everything.

yes i like your product ;~; i saw in some of your tags you being a little bummed about your photoshop skills and i really think you're selling yourself short a bit! every screenie feels so well thought out and visually, they are all so stunning. also, i couldn't stop reading lilith's voice in meg from Disney's Hercules??? the way her attitude would make me weak in the knees is taking me out

Aww, thank you! This is so lovely. 🥰 I do think I'm pretty good at setting up shots (I should be considering I've been taking screenies since TS2, lol), but I guess I wish I had more of the "postproduction" skills like lighting or special effects. The things some people on here do in edits are wild! I'm my own worst critic so I can't help but compare myself. Luckily, I don't feel like that kind of stuff is really necessary for what I'm doing most of the time. Anyway, I can definitely be self-deprecating to a fault, so I appreciate the confidence boost!

P.S. I fear I shouldn't have made Lilith so sexy, but I really needed to show how Helena is so instantly drawn to her. I just hope it doesn't make you all root for some of the things she's about to do! 😬

Part 2/2 Of course, Charles looks amazing on Johnny. My main focus was him for the photos, but I'll definitely get more eventually. For being a video game character, he's really just… stupidly naturally photogenic. So I nabbed some pics and opted to get on Taima for the time being because, why not? Nah, that actually isn't how it went down. It was more like Me: *gets on Taima and takes off* Charles: Aren't you gonna take Johnny back? Me: Huh? Oh shit I forgot Charles: It's fine, I wanna keep riding him, he looks cool. Have you thought about putting feathers on Taima? We had a little exchange on that as we continued (whether or not Charles would, wishing that he had because it would be cute as hell, telling him how I desperately wish that Charles' feathers were an object in game, then went on to complain about how unfair it is that the Charles outfit in RDO has the necklace properly colored on men but not on women. There might be a cultural reason for that though, I'm not sure). Oh, and Johnny broke a sign with his face. Anyway, next you're gonna see a pic with a sign in the foreground, and I took that for one reason and one reason only; because the text glitched out lol. I think it's supposed to say race series? But it caught my eye regardless. I didn't realize that the text was dynamic. Went through that enclosed bridge a few times for pics, but Charles was having a hard time keeping up because of the slowmo, so I picked a few that I liked after like 4 rounds back and forth and we moved on our merry way. At this point we were getting snacky too, I had made some chip dip and neither of us had started to eat it, and it smelled soooo good. But I was WAY too distracted lol. And I think Charles felt like he had to be polite, but the second I realized what was happening and gave him the go ahead, he ate 3/4 of my damn chips before I even had one. Mean lmfao. Shortly after moving on from that bridge we hit a moonshiner free roam event, and I wanted to ignore it, but Charles was itching to fight. Turns out he's not a great shot lmao (relatable) and Charles (the character) also just doesn't really look that hot when shooting. I mean, he always looks hot, but he makes silly faces. Guess we can't all be sexy when we're being shot by 30 men lol. I managed to nab a few good screenies before I decided to help him out. One thing that really amazed me is Johnny and Taima; they were SO CALM the entire time. I took these pics by putting Blair (my character) in a scenario and then used my free cam to get up in Charles' face without getting shot by him, so right before I stopped I pulled the cam back so I could snag a pic of just how chill Johnny and Taima were (sorry Charles lol). Even Johnny, who tends to get a bit antsy with shooting going on if someone's on his back, was still as stone. Taima is generally bombproof anyway, but the fact that I wasn't even there to help her chill out made it all the more impressive that she just… didn't care. That's about all the interesting stuff that happened! We started our trail ride at 2:10 AM and I'm wrapping up writing this at about 6:20 AM. I took 485 pictures, didn't edit any yet, nor did I go through the clips, but Charles is passed the fuck out and his snoring is making me tired as all hell, so I guess that means it's time for me to get some rest too lmao. I mostly wrote this for the memories, but if you read this far, I hope you enjoyed!!

Ethnicity: Samoa, (Sulani), Polynesian (Twikki Beach)

After a surprise and devastating Monsoon swept his wife Liliana who was in severe labor on the beach as they waited for the coastal helicopter/boat to rescue them during a quiet beach walk on Mui Pua.

Now all that's left is 2 marked memorial stone graves left where he last saw his wife. Some say he's still lucky to be alive after rescuse patrol found him stranded in a abnormally shaped coconut tree trunk but unconscious.

For nearly 5 years all Makoa could do is search the waters and nearby islands for anything left of his wife. Hope diminishing with each search until he was finally persuaded by Duane and the Island Elders that enough was enough and he needed to look after himself as he had concernedly lost much weight and he looked ill.

So Duane and Makoa went on a boating trip around the equator, making pit stops to different places and trying new foods etc and healed over time with his grief. When they returned back to Sulani Makoa decided to leave his old home and with Duane by his side as his only family left (Liliana and Makoa adopted him when Duane was 10) and moved into an old beach shack on Mua Pua Retreat that student conservatists stayed during the long months if they didn't have any other place to stay and though it was in bad shape they both soon over time began to rebuild their lives with each new day as they lived off the land.

After Duane graduated High School and left for University, the loneliness was hard to absorb on how empty his life felt with noone to love or the pitter patter of tiny feet. So one night after a fun drunken night of dancing with his old pal's stumbled into the windy Autumn early morning, looking both way's before heading to the boating dock only for the wind to blow and clamp a flyer to his face. Being still foolishly drunk only half read the flyer of some hot chick looking for a bunch of sims -- decided to apply -- when he could sit down in his canoe -- which he did and press sent as his canoe sail pulled them out of the bay and towards Mua Pua.

P.S i can't remember if l had likes or dislikes and skills for him ingame so here l some l rattered on below and l haven't made him since a fair few months ago lol

Likes: The fucking rainbow, Hiking,Swimming,Tattoos (His hand markings are dedicated to his deceased dead wife in her honor), any music and food, wants to find love and start a family,Aquaman, Celebrating his culture etc.

Dislikes: Racist's,Hospital Sterile smells,Unconvenualized hunting or fishing. (His culture has been taught to respect the land and it's giving's and take only what he needs and then giving back in some way.),Non-genuine people or civil,Or the simmovie version of Superman.

Skills: l know he has about maxed all his skills (mainly the important ones cause that blasted lightbulb plus-ing all over the place ruins every single screenie -- past experience)

explaining why this is poor design: new on left (light mode) and old on right (dark mode)

having tag thumbnails is quite ineffective when all tags have the same thumbnail

i don't know about other people but i personally prefer not to search by tag? i usually search by keyword because it gives me more varied content in my search. strange choice to prioritise tagging but lmk what other people think

"217 recent... 63K..." yeah this is sooo optimised for different browser sizes

when have follower counts for tags ever been important information that we need to know while navigating to a tag? on the website where "follower counts don't matter"??? this is useless information; i used to primarily use instagram, it was also useless there and mainly used to double check i didn't misspell anything.

the leading and vertical margins/padding are bad; not only makes the title and subtitles feel disconnected, but also makes it harder for your brain to distinguish between sections.

making everything larger makes it more cramped, and again, removes the spatial distinction between where one entry ends and the next one begins

props for making stuff more distinguishable for colourblind users and also easier to read from further away though. although uh some other website has done it better and... well... we'll get to that later

before we do, i had a search of what other people thought and stole this screenshot from @helpimstuckinafandom (ryuji image to stop the screenie from taking up too much space)

this is somehow WORSE - it's so cramped on the left side with so much empty space on the right, making it feel bloated and empty at the same time, the text in the different sections don't line up (they didn't used to either, i know), the enlarging of the icons reduces the negative space that was already lacking with my update, and somehow the bolded text of the search suggestions makes it feel even emptier compared to the cramped "tags" area. the good thing? less unnecessary information, like no tag follower counts, and no icons for recent searches.

alright. moving on, i sure do wonder where they got this idea for larger and bolder font choices from OH WAIT (roland image to stop it from being so damn large)

oh wait this actually looks pretty good though. so why does twitter's layout work? same reason why tumblr's old one was, frankly, pretty ugly but worked:

SPACING VS CLUTTER

there's no images for the tags / searches because there doesn't need to be! there's no information about follower counts because again, it's not important! notice their width is almost the same as tumblr's, but it still feels better because the content is smaller and the spacing appropriately allows your brain to digest things into smaller chunks.

it's also completely legible and comfortable to read no matter your browser size!!!!!!!!!!!! which tumblr fails to do! even when display names reach their character limits (see: PearlescentMoon) it's still completely legible and not confusing.

ok so if twitter's so good why do i hate it looking more like twitter? simple: brand identity. tumblr removing the stuff that makes it look like tumblr, is in fact, bad. having thick weighted, rounded fonts is not inherently bad. it's what twitter looks like, it's what apple looks like - they have a certain brand identity of legibility, professionalism, and cleanliness that they need to uphold. which is great. microsoft is straight edges and geometric shapes - utilitarian, functional, professional.

what i'm trying to say is this: if you want to keep branding tumblr as the stupid clown funny gay people ancient hellsite, then revel in the aesthetic. in the blatant html-ness of it all, it's unique, you can't get it anywhere else (you can but not on a site as popular). YES make it more accessible, YES make it more welcoming and easy to pick up and use for new users. you don't have to strip it of it's individuality to do so.

i was going to end it here but right before i hit post, i realised tumblr has a tumblr-looking, well spaced, organised and aesthetically pleasing suggestion-based navigation system already - right under the search bar. anyways. that's all. goodbye

Originally this was me trying to get the vibe for Toby again (I had to look up a reference for his stripes my 5th grade self was rolling) and then it tumbled away into general creepypasta shit. A few details and explanations in the down there part.

- I only read YCYD once months ago and it wasn't really my bag with the removal of the supernatural elements tho I can definitely appreciate how it's done and I really like Toby in ski goggles. So I just kinda stole that particular design choice and a few other really small bits. Sorry reabees you have a very strong narrator voice meant as a compliment. Another thing is that I hold to Toby having a facial scar but instead of just. Chewing through his cheek my headcanon is that his dad fought back and tore through it with his keys. I don't get what the muzzle is so it's just a dark face mask now!

- Nat is so hard AUGH. I don't like Natalie's base story or design I think its like especially bad for cp standards I think the tanktop is annoying bc of old fanart the clock eye is STUPID not even a think statement there. But it's hard to try and redesign and recontextualize her in a way that the personality and backstory just snaps so I did whatever! Gave her a kinda militant hunter vibe bc of my headcanons about her family and situation, gave her orange hair bc she's Irish now, and picked up the time obsession in a way that makes fucking sense (she's living on borrowed time via Zalgo so she can't waste a second and keeps meticulous track of how long things take) so she's covered in time pieces under her jacket plus that stop watch.

Alright that was annoying bye.

- (pasting from a dm convo) Sally's design and character in the larger fandom have never connected for me like they just don't feel right. If Sally died while on a store run why would she manifest in her nightgown. Why does she have blood running down her face, is the implication supposed to be that her uncle busted her head in? The whole reason he's killing her is to make sure she doesn't tell, he's just putting himself in prison for way longer it's idiocy. And then her character, Sally was supposedly a super normal kid, there's no indication that even after something bad happens to her she'd do anything like take it out on other people, especially innocents. Like realistically if Sally was haunting your house perhaps there'd some misbehavior bc that's still a traumatized little kid but not MURDER. So to remedy this bullshit I gave Sally some play clothes and implied she was instead strangled. I like playing with Sally as ghost who doesn't remember anything so she's actually still super sweet and bored and reckless which is what can make her dangerous for younger kids her age bc she can't die so she has no self-preservation.

- the rest is basically doodles to take up space. Carly and Ben funney + Tim laying in the rain to 35mm bc I think Cut Me A Piece would kill him on impact. Jay from Da Vault (aka screenies of sketches I'm sick of fttb)

oh i forgot to answer this owo, for my om followers, this is pretty much all spoilers from s1-s4.

some context, since you don't play: MC is a human, and Satan is the Avatar of wrath/literal embodiment of that sin, MC is an exchange student to the devildom (om version of hell), and uh they have a pact together.

Tumblr hates me for not letting me post my screenies, also this was hard because I see Satan and my brain just goes ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️.

not in order but.

s3 where Satan faces the bogeyman and it takes the form of Lucifer as an angel, Satan who has issues with his identity and viewing himself as his own whole person, and being confronted with his very real fear that he isn't anyone. made me fucking cry, NGL. he's just like me fr.

s1, when Satan snaps and is going to run away from home ~~because Lucifer was being a cunt again~~ and that scene in his room where mc turns him down for a pact, and he's losing control, destroying his own belongings, threatening mc and tee hee. I don't know what to say, I like it when he's angry. I wish this scene was fully voiced.

in his dressing for the occasion devilgram (basically a short side story you can unlock by getting certain cards); you and Satan go on a cute date to a restaurant and on the walk home, he confesses his love to you, and his whole speech is very sweet. I'm paraphrasing here, but he says something to the effect of, "I only have these brief moments with you, the memories of your touch, I know it's impossible because we are separate beings, but I wish we were one".

hate this card for real (not because of Satan!!! it's everyone else!!) but he has another devilgram, where mc is depressed about it being new years and admits to being homesick. Satan tries to cheer up mc by literally making date plans on the spot for after classes (and everyone else makes fun of or insults them, so he's the only one that even cares, wow). so anyways, the date is cute, I'm not that familiar with Japanese culture to say much about that aspect, but he did try to celebrate new years in a human fashion for MC. his brothers (because they're cunts) had switched out his drinks for alcoholic versions (when he made plans to ensure that they're weren't) and he's a lightweight ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so mc helped carry him home, and then I can only assume he beat his brothers up for that stunt. anyways, I still liked seeing Satan because it showed how caring he is.

satans apology to mc, for re:the above scene I mentioned where he threatened mc. it was short, kind of blunt, but also no one had to force him to or convinced him to, he wanted to apologize out of his own free will.

in the HDD event: Satan takes you aside from the party, to express his love (in private and without interruption) and I FUCKING wish I still had the screenshots because he wrote a very sweet poem!! and I can't remember the lines anymore!!! ah! anyways, aside from being sweet, he also expressed being nervous about his writing and I hear that and simply remember that again dude has identity issues, but also he's artistic and finds art/writing very soothing and a way to explore himself so it's nice that he feels comfortable enough to want to include you in that!!!

his devilgram where he takes you to an art museum and talks about the above ^.

in s4, where Lucifer was being a cunt again and trivializes Satan's trauma, and Satan loses it, runs away for two weeks, and is causing general havoc. and when you finally meet up with him, he flat out admits that he thinks that he's absolutely nothing and only a reflection of Lucifer and that his life has no meaning. I'm crying.

Leveling my SAM on Mari, finally 🙃. Am I one of the rare few who levels a class to 87 and then uses Duty Support strictly to see those three? If you know, you know.

Endwalker spoilers under the cut, and by that I mean EW Zone 5 Dungeon. Endwalker has been out for how long now? I probably don't need to do this, but I know sprouts are still out there 💖

At first I only had the intention to get Mari one class to 90 in each role. But somewhere along the way plans changed. I blame Emet (and partly glamour, and housing).

My mindset literally goes 'Oh if I get to level 87 I can go bug Emet' 😇

I was taking so many screenies of SAM skills while leveling, simply out of boredom. I'll be adding those momentarily 🙃, but I'm convinced there's no way I could play, or be, a 'damsel in distress'-type if I were thrown into some 'story' or 'world', (isekai~).

(I'm truly telling you I was bored. Leaving me alone with my thoughts running rampant is a bad thing haha. Perhaps next time I should turn on an Audible.)

I'd be the type that'd constantly want to 'catch up' to the person I want to be side-by-side with. It's fine if I'm 'weaker' but there's no way in holy heck I could settle with being left behind. It'd drive me bonkers. To be useless? To not be able to protect someone you care about? I feel like that's the sort of dynamic Emet and Azem potentially had. Those feelings and those thoughts. I don't want to ramble on about it (I'll end up with a novel that no one asked for), but that's both crushing and sinking.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, or putting my own HC on it. But it's pointed out in story that they (Emet and Azem) spend a lot of time together. And Emet spends so much time searching for hints or fragments of Azem after the sundering. That emotionally stabs me in the heart. So, yes. I will level my classes to 87 just to see him, and the other ancients.

I really need to stop rambling but what even got me on this train of thought to begin with was; First of all leveling my SAM and going to see Emet- and the fact that Bleach TYBW is coming out in less than 2 weeks~! I've had massive brainrot for literal months now 🫠

Why do I feel like my favorites always get kind of... brutally hurt? For no reason? 😞 (more so than other characters, I mean.) I want to protecc, but I can't 😖

I'll post my SAM screenies now~ and save my QQ'ing for another day 🙃. (I have several, but I recommend looking up GIFs or vids of these if you're interested cause screens can only show so much. BUT! I think the screenies are cool because they capture a literal moment in time that's hard to see in GIFs/vids)
