“angel, ‘m sorry,” satoru mumbled as his face was being stuffed with the warm meal you prepared for the both of you. you only glared at him and took a bite yourself— humming in delight.

satoru swallowed and his eyebrows furrowed, “hello?,” he scoffed. but you could only hum as you stared at your food. “i told you im sorry, okay?” he sighed. “i didn’t mean to-,” he swallows before continuing.

“i didn’t mean to eat your last batch of cookies…”

“…..”

“and finish that corny telenovela you like to watch,” he mumbled and stood up from his seat to place the dirty dishes in the sink. one thing you learned about being in a relationship with gojo satoru, is to never leave something out for him to see. “you ate all of them, ‘toru.” you glared, “and we always watch the new episodes together.”

he turned to you with a hand on his hip. why was he always so sassy. “the cookies weren’t that good,” he clicked his tongue. which only caused you to furrow your brows. you opened your mouth to speak, but he beat you to it. “and the ending was shit anyways.”

silence. if a pin were to drop, it’d most likely sound like a heavy metal bottle instead. “what?”

“yeah, monica just ended up with juan,” he said casually as he scratched the back of his head. you were furious. this man only knows how to get on your nerves and so much more. how is that even possible.

“satoru, did you just spoil me right now?,” you groaned. “what the fuck?”. the look in his eyes was nothing more than the one of pure panic and he quickly scurries, making his way to lock himself in the bedroom. leaving you alone with a big spoiler and crumbs of a whole batch of cookies.

good luck on trying to get him to come out now.

The 19 after those are various instrumental tracks I listened to while writing and editing to set ✨ the mood ✨ (I do this for all my fics), more or less in chronological order

if there was ever another time you wished for the ability to rip the doors off of an elevator, it would pale in comparison to the way you wish for it right now.

every slow-passing floor of this god forsaken building pulls another bead of sweat to your brow. you clear your throat for the third time in less than a minute, silently pleading with the car to either hurry in its descent or bless you with a little more air--something there seems to be less of with every second that drags on.

"are you sick?" nanami's gaze falls on you out of the corner of his eye, and you fight both the urge to shrink from it and the one that tells you to take up the entirety of his vision and yell please look at me!

"no, nanami-san." you avoid his eyes entirely. for reasons you do not understand, yours linger on the empty space on his left ring finger reflecting back at you from the metal doors that just won't open.

"i told you, you should call me kento."

and you should be at your floor and out of this damned elevator by now. you should keep walking right through the front door and never come back to this office. you should forget about this weird little obsession you seem to have with the man that signs your paychecks. and you should never call him by his given name.

not now that you've woken up calling it out for the past few nights.

"i apologize, sir."

you hear him let out a quiet sigh--one that you refuse to believe sounds a little disappointed. out of the corner of your eye you see him reach up to loosen his tie, and you can't recall ever doing anything bad enough to be subjected to this.

he loops a thick finger through the silk fabric and tugs and you clear your throat again, this time to cut off a nearly involuntary whimper at the sight. it's so obvious and humiliating that you start to consider actually trying to rip the doors open, but in a moment of blessed mercy, the car dings to announce it's arrival to your floor.

"by the way," nanami's voice stops you as you're halfway out of the elevator, "if you have time, i'd like you to meet me in my office later. i'd like to discuss your goals for your future with our company."

you feel yourself flush at the low rumble of his voice--and at the (probably completely made up) implication of his request. you nod quickly, turning on your heel and booking it back to your desk.

surely the tiny smirk on his face as the elevator doors closed was a trick of the light.

Z-O-M-B-I-E-S is honestly great at showing how there can be conflict in a movie without the main romantic relationship having to deal with lies and betrayal and the two people hating each other for most of the movie. Zed and Addison have one little fight and I wouldn't even call that a relationship fight and that's it. Other than that they care for each other, are always cute and sweet and don't have to deal with miscommunication because they talk to each other and have a healthy relationship and I love that so much♡

If I see someone else trying to defend Kalim/Jamil by attacking the other or their enjoyers and misreading and boiling down their characters by saying Kalim is stupid or how Jamil is the only one at fault in their situation I'll be the one overblotting. Why you pit two victims of an awful hierarchy system they weren't asked to be stuck with. Why you have to treat people who respectfully disagrees with you in something like a series or a character interpretation like they're criminals who must be shamed or punished with death. How do you play a game that relies on narrative without actually reading. Why can't you use the block/mute button instead of engaging in a conversation you know it will be unpleasant for all parts to make it a fight you want to win. Vox knows that Valentino was hurt the day his antenna got stripped. He knows that he was aching and hurting for months after. It took a while before it was able to move freely again, and he remembers when Val recognized that it was going to scar. All of this was the physical pain that he was very aware of. He is also very aware that touching the stripped antenna really, really hurts, it's a very sensitive scar.

As far as the extent of Valentino's hearing loss, however, Vox isn't totally sure. He knows that Valentino complains of people talking on his left side because he can't hear them as well. He is completely deaf on that side, and Vox kind of understands that much, but he doesn't know how his hearing works now.

He is not aware of Valentino's tasting issues, though he is very acutely aware of how he smells. He likes to get his antenna right up in Vox's cologne and rubs his face in it whenever he smells it. It's the main/only reason Vox knows about this from Val and not just in theory.

Vox is most aware of Valentino's poor eyesight, and he monitors how it gets worse over time. He's working on solutions for it because he can't stand the thought of seeing Val go entirely blind. It is important to him to do what he can to help Val in the meantime.

Actually, yes. Vox is incredibly protective of Val, especially in a fight. He always makes sure that he's got Valentino's left side since he can't hear on that side and his sight is very poor. Val is a good shot despite his eyesight, but Vox knows there are still weak spots that can be exploited.

That said, he's still trying to figure out how to give Val his hearing back, but he's been playing with a few ideas that he hopes will help.

Okay look I love Kitty and Yuri together but I don't actually think they should end up together. Because I think Yuri is genuinely in love with Julianna and she won't just give that up. So far from what I've seen they are very much in a good relationship with each other and plan to stay that way. They are cute, they are happy, they have plans for the future and they fought so hard to be together so it would be really unfair and also out of character to just take that away from them especially since they are finally back together now. And I do think Kitty deserves do find a cute girlfriend but it doesn't have to be Yuri. There are for sure so many other cute girl Kitty hasn't met yet that will also be perfect for her. I think Yuri is very important for Kitty because she is part of her self discovery. Kitty found out she was into girls through Yuri and that's great!! But that doesn't immediately mean that they have to be together, especially when Yuri is already in a committed relationship. I do think they are very cute together and would be amazing as friends tho!!
